We stayed at the Curtis while visiting Denver. The hotel was nice with lots of cool decorations and interesting pieces of art. Check in was easy (don't forget the cookie) and the staff is nice. The floors are all themed (we were staying on the sci-fi floor). The room was clean and nice. We didn't have a tub; only a shower. This didn't bother us but some people like the option to soak in a tub. There also is a mini fridge if you want to keep stuff cold in the room. The price was great and it's right in the middle of downtown Denver with access to many places to eat within walking distance. If there are emergency vehicles with their sirens on you can hear them pretty easily but I feel that's to be expected when you stay downtown. Overall, a nice hotel that is reasonably priced. We would stay here again.

Fun hotel with neat themes on every floor. Good price and excellent location. Staff was nice. The art on our wall was awful though. It’s the lady with the ice cream cone. If you know you know. Just weirdly unsettling.

Room was waaay smaller than I thought it'd be. No microwaves either. The only good parking is street parking which is free after 8. Otherwise you can pay the parking garage $45/ night. We had a double size bed. In a regular room. Staff was super nice and accommodating. Over all a nice place and we got a heck of a deal for a hotel downtown.

I found this hotel online while making plans for a 16 day cross-country road trip from Oregon to Illinois and back and am so glad I did. The whole decor, themed floors and hyper-themed rooms are fantastic! I reached out to the hotel contacts online and requested a specific room for our stay which, fortunately and excitedly, they came through for me by giving us that specific room for our two-nights there. Everyone working at the front desk and in the hotel are super friendly and helpful. The hyper-themed room was awesome!!

I attempted to stay at the Curtis in Denver in June for three nights during a business trip. The reviews were very mixed and mostly bad however there were few options available in the downtown area. The photos of this hotel are definitely better than the real thing. The parking garage area and Elevator are grungy and confusing to get into the hotel main lobby . Upon arrival i was very tired after a long drive and disappointed after being I was told at the front desk I was on the scary floor? . I asked for another floor then found my way to my room. The halls are dark with old flooring and doors, as soon as I opened the door. I was ready to leave. The bed was old, The tile around the shower was cracked and worn . The hotel looks like it was sorta redecorated with Vinyl accents paint murals and some circus fabric. I left as soon as I found other Accommodations. I paid for the night to avoid any hassle making an excuse and asked to be refunded for the rest of my stay. The hotel is In a convenient location downtown but, I would not recommend staying here.

Good and fast check-in, hotel is cute and convenient. It is in an accessible part of downtown, but we just slept there and left Denver early morning, didn't get a chance to see how walkable the area was. Decorations were cute and I heard from someone that each floor had a theme. Elevator design was also interesting. We thought the hotel parking was closed since we arrived close to 2am and the overall gates were shut. The agent in the lobby told me I had to drive towards the entrance and get a ticket for the gates to open. $40 daily self parking which is typical for a downtown hotel. All in all served our purpose, would probably come back if we visited Denver again.

Whenever my wife and I travel to downtown Denver, we stay at the Curtis. One of the things that I enjoy is that the atmosphere is lively and it’s fun and for me it helps me set aside whatever concerns I have. The staff at the front desk are always responsive , fun, and friendly. I highly recommend the Corner Office bar. Their classic martinis are excellent. And one of the real advantages for us is that it’s close to the performing arts programs that we love to enjoy.

This is an older hotel that was refashioned into an artsy hotel. While some of the decorations are interesting, the building itself is still old. The elevators are the slowest I have ever experienced. That would be why I marked it lower. Each floor is a different theme. Sure, it was fun, but I wouldn't say it is worth a premium luxury price. The parking is also $42 a night, so include that in the room price if you drive.

This place is SO COOL! If you want to stay somewhere unique in the ❤ of Denver this is the place for you. Every floor is themed. Every Friday there's something new going on in the lobby. The staff rock. The elevator sings. What more do ya need?? Had the wonderful opportunity to stay in the Rolling Stones suite. Super groovy. Super cool. BUT -- there's unfortunately no microwave, the water was scalding hot so be cautious, and there were dust particles on the ceiling. It needs a bit of love but overall it's worth a stay. Check it out on months for extra fun themes like October and February. There's always something fun happening at The Curtis just see for yourself 😄

This is a 3 star hotel. The rooms are old and not super clean. You can hear everything going on in next room. I do like that you can check in on your mobile app and have mobile key. The staff is super friendly. The location is great, a lot of things in walking distance. They probably need to update rooms soon. The price was way more than what I got, not a good value

This was a great place to hold a meeting of about 80 people from around the country. Decor is best described as whimsical, bringing a light hearted feel to the business meeting. The themed floors have everyone something to talk about. Staff were great at keeping coffee, tea and water available, plus our lunches were delicious. The location is perfect for easily exploring downtown and all it has to offer.

Nut Allergy Warning: when you arrive the front desk offers those checking in a chocolate chip walnut cookie. If you have severe nut allergies I would book a stay elsewhere. The parking is pricey at $45 but they do have an automatic garage door so pedestrians don’t wander in. Feels very much like a hipster hotel in the lobby. The staff is friendly and they give you cookies and bottled water when you check in. The lobby is decorated to be instagramable. Every hall way and elevator smells like smoke unfortunately. Each floor is supposed to have a theme. Ours was the dancing floor. The only way we knew that was because the elevator will play a special message once you get to your floor before opening the doors. We wouldn’t have known about the theme otherwise, but that wasn’t important to us in the slightest. It does not add or take away from the hotel. The king bed room we were in was very crammed and smaller than we expected. The bathroom was spacious but it took 20 minutes to get hot water in the shower and the toilet ran for a long time after flushing. There is a bright alarm clock in the room that you’ll have to cover up with a shirt or something to make the room dark again. Overall, nothing too spectacular about the room itself, but it did appear to be reasonably clean (minus the desk chair) and the beds were comfortable. The location was nice and within walking distance from many restaurants and activities. We felt safe walking around the city at night.

We wanted to be downtown with easy walking distance to stadiums and restaurants. The room had a nice view of the mountains and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff always greeted us with a smile and took great care of us.

I was very pleased with my stay at the Curtis! I always enjoy stays at Hilton Hotels, but this one was especially unique. The different floors had all different movie themes which was really cool. But most importantly, Lauren really went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I enjoyed our stay. She was incredibly pleasant and made us feel very welcome. This hotel is a good value for the money compared to other ones in the area. It is also convenient walking distance to Larimer Square. My only complaint is parking is $45/night which is too pricey. Otherwise, great stay.

The Curtis was a wonderful place to stay! Filled with memorabilia from timeless shows and classic films. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and kind. Joe was informative about the surrounding area, and was extremely helpful during our entire stay. This unique hotel is truly one of a kind and the staff made it 5 Stars!

We had our wedding here in July 2023. Our entire experience was stunning from start to finish. Cheyenne was exceptional at making sure we had our details ready to go and going above and beyond to make our day extra special. I am beyond grateful for the experience, location, all of it. Took so much of the stress off of our hands and all our guests had so much fun with the themes and fun and memories we created here. 10/10 would recommend.

Hilton regular but first time at this brand. The hotel is a little tired. When we checked in there was no water. And I don't mean no bottled water. I mean no water, like in the sinks and toilet. And there were no signs in lobby to tell us this (remember some folks do mobile check in). So nothing like using the bathroom and not be able to wash your hands. While on the topic, Toilet was about to come out of floor. Sleep timer on TV was nice. Didn't love the drapes that would blow from the HVAC letting light in. Elevators are small and hot. Parking garage was easy enough to use (42 bucks). Great location though very walkable to convention center.

We picked the Curtis from several downtown Hilton properties because of the theme and decor, and we were not disappointed! The lobby spaces were adorable with bright whimsical decor, and each floor has a slightly different theme, which we loved (our floor was music!). Our corner room was great, lots of space with an excellent view of downtown. The location is close to everywhere we wanted to go: Union Station, RiNo, Highland, and our favorite: biking on the Cherry Creek Trail! The staff were so warm, friendly, and helpful, and made our stay in Denver so memorable. We’ll be back, hoping to stay in one of the hyper themed rooms next time!

What a joke , if this is a 4 star hotel Hampton inn is 5 stars. The rooms are very mediocre and we are in a themed room. Hotel is very outdated and needs to be remodeled. It's a disgrace to the Hilton name. Looks like the maids forgot to clean the room well and didn't refill the conditioner or lotion bottles. There is dust everywhere and everything in the room is outdated. It's actually quite a joke. The Ac is extremely loud and makes horrible noises thoughout the night. The coffee machine in the lobby is broken and a sign says sorry for inconvenience. Then we tried to have breakfast which we get a 30$ food and beverage credit and of course the restaurant is closed and doesn't even open till 8 on the weekends. They did offer a Starbucks coupon, but I'm allergic to yeast and pork which is all Starbucks has for breakfast. Such a mistake staying here, do yourself a favor and stay at the embassy or garden inn as this hotel is a joke.

Room and hotel were very clean, bed was comfortable. I liked the different themes on the floors. Only issue was the shower curtain really didn't prevent any water from going all over the floor, I had to put an extra towel down. It would be nice to also have a microwave in the room. Staff was very friendly!

Stayed here to go to a concert at Ball arena and the location was perfect. The hotel itself was perfect and had a different theme on each floor. All of the members I communicated with at the front desk were nice and friendly.

Wonderful staff, restaurant/bar, location and themed floors. Here is the bad part... we had a mountain view room on the 15th floor. The hallway was ridiculously hot. The room smelled like cigarettes, the toilet was small and very low to the ground not because it was an handicapped room either, the mini fridge didn't work, the refillable shampoo, conditioner, body wash , and lotion containers are not sanitary. If the room was in the $150 - $200 range per night not ok but expected. However the total rate for 1 night with taxes and parking was $400. I expected better from a Hilton branded hotel. I also received a text after completing our stay, I assume from a real person or maybe not . And told them the experience and then didn't receive a response. I wouldn't recommend staying here at the price they are charging that's all.

The place is cute with different themed floors and good location downtown in walking distance to many things and a great coworking/meeting coffee shop. BUT, so much maintenance needs to be done! My room was non stop noise. Starting with the AC. It was SO LOUD and I was freezing and couldn't turn it off. I was hearing another noise but couldn't figure it out. They came and turned off the AC but then....the refrigerator was also making a buzzing and and some other loud noise and the toilet was running all the time and the wall next to it would make a banging noise! Got no sleep and was funky for my back to back meetings the next day just tired. The shower was kinda gross, I would get in and out of there quick! Could t tell if it was dirty or black mold or if it needed caulk. Had down feather pillows and woke up the next morning stuffed up and coughing so I asked if they would change them to non feather, he did but left one under the pillow I was going to sleep on later!!!! The elevator would also take FOREVER!!!! There was 4! The business center was fine and the wifi did work well, I was able to do some work and do my zoom meeting. I've never had this many problems and a Hilton like EVER!

The Curtis has a great location for the Arts center and many other places of interest downtown. I was very happy to see the conditions at the hotel have been updated since I was there a few years ago. Still the same fun elevators

Location and service are great! Rooms are decent/standard holiday inn style. Lobby is adorable and front staff is very friendly and helpful. We were able to store our bags due to early arrival and late departure - so helpful since it’s $12 at Union Station for that.

Great location for getting to the Ball Arena and 16th Street Mall area. Hotel was clean, had great service. Rooms were clean and QUIET! Each floor has a different theme and was fun to check out. Food was beyond awesome! Best short stack pancakes I've ever had.

This was a fantastic place to stay. We were on the horror floor and it was definitely entertaining and a cool ambiance. I used the gym a few days and it had everything I needed. The restaurant was decent and had an excellent choice of wines and spirits. The location was fantastic and we had a really fabulous time!!

Should've read up on it more before arriving but what a fun hotel! Staff is super friendly and provide great service! Love love love the warm cookies at the front desk!!! Grab some daily!!! Each floor is themed, how cool!! I was upgraded to the Barbie room, was expecting hot pink super Barbie and instead got a wall of them watching me sleep....

Such a cool hotel and within walking distance of a lot of restaurants. The lobby is so cool and eclectic. Each floor has a theme and is decorated accordingly. I got upgraded to a suite and enjoyed the upgrade. Room had two bathrooms, large sitting area and separate bedroom. AC was pretty noisy and had to adjust the thermostat a few times as it wouldn’t turn off even though I set to auto with a set temperature. I was only there for 1 night so made do. It’s a Doubletree so I did expect a cookie and didn’t get one. I actually forgot to ask for it until later though. Would definitely stay here again due to location and cool vibe.

Staff is amazing. Theme floors are so much fun! Heads up, Parking is $42 a night, a bit steep considering we are guests. The corner office delivered room service, again super nice staff. Burger was good, waffle fries not so much. Ordered one tart but given 2 and charged for 2. Great location for exploring downtown.

Beautiful concept-property, every floor has its own theme and decor. We loved our KISS (the rock band) suite. Location is great, steps away from the Performing Art Complex, restaurants and clubs. The staff at both the hotel and the restaurant was very attentive and genuinely caring. Could not praise more and will be back. Thank you Curtis Hotel and Corner Office Restaurant

We stayed at the Curtis in Denver for one night prior to our flight out after a week in Breckenridge. It was the perfect stop over to break up our travel. Location was nearby fun bars within walking distance and lots of restaurants a short drive away. Atmosphere in the hotel is so cute. Rooms were very clean and the staff was super friendly!

The decor is adorable and makes for some really cute photos! Each floor is unique with different pop culture references and it’s fun exploring each one to see what’s there! The rooms are comfy and spacious! A perfect place to stay in the heart of downtown Denver.

Staff at front desk at check in and check out were very professional, friendly and helpful. Room and hotel were clean and well maintained. We had everything we needed in room. Hostess at The Corner Office was helpful, food and all servers were great. Location with on-site parking and restaurant were perfect for attending evening performance at The Buell. We will certainly tell all our Cheyenne, WY friends about the Curtis.

Great location to walk to many restaurants, bars, and other things to do in downtown. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was very nice. The parking was secure which we also liked. The staff was fantastic and very helpful. A special shout out to Ashton for all of her fantastic recommendations in and around Denver!!

The Curtis wasn’t quite as expected. Upon check in, the front desk staff wasn’t very helpful. They gave me my key, told my room number, and instructed me I would need my key to operate the elevator. My ride up to my room was with a gentleman who warned me to keep my valuables with me as he just left the front desk looking for items which had been removed from his room. I kept my “do not disturb” sign on my door throughout the duration of my stay to be safe. I stayed on the 11th floor of which the theme was unrecognizable - which is fine. My room was small, but it worked well enough for my purposes. You could quickly tell the hotel was in need of repair by the state of the room. The furniture was chipped, tiles in the bathroom were broken, wallpaper was ripped, etc. The rest of the hotel was nice and kept in great condition. I was in town for business so we had some sponsored meals provided by the hotel. The food left a lot to be desired. On the positive, the view from my room was amazing - the snow capped Rockies and downtown. The location of the hotel was great. It was very easy to get from the airport to the hotel on public transportation. Would I stay again? Got the location, yes.

Ok. I feel like some of these reviews are ruthless so I wanted to share my experience. We stayed Sep 10-11, 2022. The lobby is newly renovated and cute, the rooms themselves and hallways are extremely old and in need of renovation. Our room was clean, but smelled musty, which cannot be fixed by cleaning staff. It would require pulling up carpet and renovating. The restaurant next door has delicious breakfast at the price you would get breakfast at any other downtown restaurant. The location is fantastic. Parking is pricey, but easy with a roomy garage. For a night, it is a fine budget option downtown if you find a room for a good price.

I almost didn't stay here because of the negative reviews. The hotel was fun, clean, and staff was extra friendly. No problems waiting on anyone at any time, everyone was helpful, on the ball, and friendly. Received prompt text messages from management. Valet was excellent. Location is excellent. The rooms and halls were a little dated, but it didn't feel ran down at all. It was quite fun looking at all the floors and riding in different elevators. Everything was modern and clean. It's thematic and likely harder to update. Highly recommend this Double Tree.

Love the theme of the hotel and the decor. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Great location for downtown activities. Also, I am a diabetic and was going low and needed sugar and the fresh cookies were perfect timing!
