I was led to believe this was a first class hotel. It definitely is not! I was greeted with a scowl by the front desk and was treated like I didn't matter at all. I was informed that there would be no housekeeping which is not acceptable. I had to wander looking for an ice machine until I finally went to the front desk to inquire because my in room phone wasn't working. I was told to read my fact sheet for the location of the ice machines but that info is not on there! There were two paper cups in my room which apparently I was to use for brushing my teeth, coffee and anything else. I asked for glassware and was told to go beg for it from the restaurant. I told them that I shouldn't have to do that and commented that I thought they were supposed to be a first class hotel and they just smirked. The room was old but comfortable enough with a tiny flat screen TV. One lamp didn't work. We were given one wash cloth for two people and there was no hot water for the sink! My reservation was for 6 nights but I checked out the next day. Absolutely appalling experience.

The Warwick was a study in mediocrity and absolutely not worth the price. Here’s the laundry list of issues we had: 1) Front desk had a first time employee that had clearly not been trained on anything. He didn’t even know how to key cards. If that had been the worst thing about our stay, I wouldn’t have been bothered. 2) Our room door stuck so much that we thought our keys weren’t working. 3) The bathroom door would not latch. 4) There were no bath mats in the bathroom. 5) The bed was made with the wrong sized sheet so our feet were touching an exposed mattress when we got into bed. 6) During a morning shower (9am), housekeeping knocked and tried to enter even though we had not checked out yet. Thankfully we had the deadbolt latched. Any one of these things would’ve been forgivable but put together, they made for a very disappointing stay. I would wager there are dozens of other hotels in the area that are a better bargain that have higher standards than the Warwick.

There was a time when The Warwick was known for its grandeur and elegance, unfortunately that time has passed. There are signs of ignored maintenance and neglected updates all throughout the hotel. Nothing so bad that you wouldn't ever want to stay at The Warwick, but enough that if there are other options available they may be worth exploring. We were gifted a 2 night stay to use at The Warwick, we first tried to use it in June but their AC was broken and took over a day to repair, leaving the rooms around 90° and miserable to be in, luckily they understood and let us reuse our stay for another time. We used it this last weekend, and a water pipe burst during our stay, leaving us without hot water during our stay. The staff is understanding, helpful, and professional but the building itself needs some serious love and updating. Our room showed signs of chipped and missing paint, holes in the wall from where a picture used to hang. Several doors in the hallway were askew leaving a gap between them and the frame from foundation shifting and settling. The valet and front desk were extremely polite and welcoming which did help offset some of the flaws in the building itself. Overall, when guests are visiting from out of town and are looking for a luxurious hotel to stay at in Denver, I'm not sure The Warwick will be the first place I recommend. However if anyone books a room and asks if they will enjoy their stay at The Warwick, I'm sure they will.

Room had a stench in it from day one! Place needs a good cleaning, and def isn’t a 4 star hotel. Pictures online def do not represent the actual hotel. Rooftop pool looks amazing online, but missing titles all over, slimy and cloudy. Tiles around the pool were loose, and a lady fell the day we were out there. They had to take her out on a stretcher. The worst part of the stay was the house keeping. Requested our room to be freshened up for four days in a row. The front desk kept apologizing, and saying they would have it taken care of right away, and every night we got back it was never taken care of. The only day they came by they threw a bag of towels and a trash bag in the room. Don’t waste your money, no one here seems to care. Def disappointing part of our trip.

my friend and I stayed in Denver for the weekend at Warwick, paying about 490 for two nights, we were expecting a fine fancy establishment.. However, I will never stay here again for several reasons. First of all, they charged both my friend and I's cards for the 490, when it was supposed to be on one card and the accidentals on the other. they did fix this. Second of all, our room was not as expected, the carpet for one was very disgusting (I would not eat a chicken nugget if it fell on that floor) you could obviously tell the carpet has NOT been shampooed in who knows how long... There was even a HUGE stain right in the middle of the room, not a great sight. Another thing, the balcony flooring was very gross, all it needs is a hose down like come on... Lastly, there was a bug in our towel, it looked like an outside bug but still... One other thing that was a let down was the pool. NO hot tub and we were kicked out because we brought yogurt and waters. they obviously have a bar at the pool and want to make sells, but I've never heard of such a thing. I will definitely never stay here again, I wish we would've booked somewhere else.

My room was big and clean. There was no room service during my stay and my coffee maker was missing pieces, so I couldn’t make coffee. The rooftop is awesome with a nice pool and great views. I got coffee in the lobby and took that to the rooftop to drink. The staff was friendly and helpful. The price is definitely okay, considering the size of the rooms. I would stay here again

For the price, it was NOT worth it. We live in Texas and I booked a king with terrace for my husband’s birthday 7/21. We were there for 4 days. They sent me an email prior offering enhancements so I added sparking wine to be in the room upon arrival. The lady at the front desk said the room was being “inspected” and I thought that’s what they were setting up. Nope. I called downstairs and a lady was supposed to research and call me back. That didn’t happen. There was also some sort of beetle in the room. Brought it to management’s attention that morning and he said because of the terrace, insects could come in, which is understandable. He said he would have our room cleaned. No one came that day. No one showed until the following afternoon. A couple of positives is that the bed was super comfy and it’s a great location. We were able to go to local restaurants, shopping, and bars.

My husband and I stayed here overnight to see a show at Mission Ballroom. I’m giving 5 stars because I think this hotel has a lot of potential. Other reviews of this hotel make it clear that hotel culture has really changed due to the pandemic. Less staff makes it hard to provide a high end experience. The hotel is central to downtown Denver. It’s a walk away from 16th street mall and an easy drive to all things Denver. We stayed in a king suite and it was spacious and comfortable. We ate at the hotel bar, which provided attentive service and good food. We used valet which was quick, cost is $32 which was worth it to us because we knew where our car would be. Overall I would stay here again.

1:poor communication 2:clogged toilet 3:broken mirror 4:hours of wasted time due to disorganization/bad communication. Booked my stay here. Arrived early, requested that I could do an early check in, I was told that the room was clean, yet it needed to be "inspected". That I could check back in an hour. We did that 3 more times. So pov: sat at the hotel lobby for 4 hours. Finally gave up at that point & just came back at 4pm THE check in time. It seemed dishonest, if not, at the very least inept & terrible communication with both guests & staff. The only mirror in the place was broken. All the way across it. The toilet was clogged.

Clean, good smelling, spacious, nicely decorated room. The balcony was a nice added bit. The blackout curtains worked well. I loved the water pressure in the shower! And the attached restaurant, Gattara, was very good as well. This wasn't the quietest hotel, but was very good considering it is on a main street in Denver. The mattress was firm but not uncomfortably so. The pillows were fluffy and reminded me favorably of Marriott properties.

Hotel was nice. They were very accommodating. However we ended up paying way more than we thought not realizing they charged for the valet (didn't realize the e track cost until we got home)! No complimentary breakfast, no microwave or sink aside from the bathroom in the room. Snacks and drinks in the room were not complimentary and too expensive to purchase. Rooftop pool was great for young kids but wasn't family friendly at night. The employees were friendly and efficient, however we will not return or refer this hotel to families especially.

I liked my stay here. The room was awesome; we got the junior suite that had plenty of space. The balcony was huge and had a great view. I wish there was a breakfast provided but you can’t have it all. The only drawback was the air conditioner kept clunking on and off. This startled us because it sounded like someone was punching the wall. There was no solution from the friendly staff, so we just turned it off. Something to consider if it’s hot out. All things considered, I would stay here again. It’s a terrific value, and classy hotel.

We stayed overnight at the Warwick Denver and really enjoyed it! We were greeted warmly by the valet and check-in was fast and friendly! We stayed with our three kids and the rooms are very large and accommodated our family perfectly. The Two-queen room was very clean, spacious and elegantly decorated. They even brought in a roll-away bed so everyone was comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony and large bathroom spaces too. The kids enjoyed early morning pool time and we enjoyed the roof top views. Everything was so clean and all the staff we talked to were helpful and friendly. We ate at the hotel restaurant, Gattara for breakfast and it was really delicious (get the burrito or the breakfast sandwich, you won't regret it). Special thanks to John for helping us with valet and the general manager B.Jay for taking the time to say hello to us and making our stay so perfect.

This hotel was overall a good price for the quality. I enjoyed the unique yet classy appearance. The staff were very friendly especially the bartender, he was very personable and kind. They also offered good food and are open early/late. Overall the room was a good size and clean. The balcony offered a nice view of the city. Only complaint about the room was that the bathtub drain was clogged with hair. The roof top pool was also really neat with a great view. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in Denver.

The Warwick was very disappointing. We got there around 3pm (for a 4pm check in) and asked to drop off our bags before check in. The front desk lady said yes and to "just bring them around the corner". What? We asked again what to do and she just handed us stickers for our bags. We then asked the valet and he helped us. When we came back at 4pm to check in, they said "that room type isn't available - we'll call you when it is". I asked how long it would be before we could check in, and they said they didn't know. Extremely annoying, because we had somewhere to be at 5:30pm. I walked by around 5pm and asked if there were any updates, and she said "oh, your room is available now!" It would have been great to get that phone call you promised. The room was nice and large and the bed was comfy. The carpets were stained and there was no shampoo, body wash, or conditioner. The cleaning staff never came by during our 3 night stay, not even to drop off towels or toilet paper. This place seems understaffed or mismanaged, or both.

Overall, the stay was fine, but we expected more for the price that was paid and the luxury the hotel company advertises. The hotel room was bigger than expected, however the bedding was not suitable to the Denver climate, one bed had two thin sheets and a very thin blanket, the other had two sheets and a thin comforter. The water in the shower took a very long time to get to lukewarm, and multiple times did not drain during shower usage. The valet was very appreciated, $30/day is understandable. My concern with this was $30 for them to park in an unsecured lot behind the hotel and we had to wait for an attendant each time we needed to leave. The street parking around had multiple boots on cars in the morning, so definitely the way to go but would prefer a more secure feeling. Front desk service was adequate.

During my attempt to stay in a hotel slightly "fancier" than basic ones, my experience fell short of expectations. Throughout my 4-day, 3-night stay, the rooms were never cleaned, and the front desk showed little concern when I requested fresh towels. If you seek a vacation without the worry of cleaning your room daily and desire a positive experience, this is definitely NOT the place.

We had a great stay at the Warwick. It was a great location, large rooms and the staff was very accommodating. We specifically can not say enough about our server Amanda in the Gattara! She is wonderful! What would have made the stay better is if we had know the proper channels for late checkout. It was desperately need on this trip and we were not honored with it. All in all a comfortable stay.

I enjoyed my time at this hotel. It was reasonably priced, the hotel was clean, and the service was excellent. I arrived about 3 hours before check-in because I forgot to check the website. When I arrived I talked to the person at the front desk ( a woman named saintly) and she politely looked into her system and found me an available room. Most other hotels would have turned me away until check in time. She also provided some drink tickets and provided clear solutions to any of the questions I asked her. The rest of the staff was very polite and helpful as well so I'd like to say Kudos to kristephano (the manger) and his team for doing a great job. One issue I did have with the hotel is the heating/ac unit. It consistently cycles between heat and cooling to maintain the temperature. So at times it's too hot or too cold. At night I found myself just turning on the heat to 78 and then turning the unit off for the rest of the night; to reduce the noise of the unit switching on and off and fluctuating from hot to cold.

It was ok. The rooms were old but clean. The staff they had was friendly, but they were pretty understaffed. We were scheduled to check in at 4 p.m., but when we got there at that time, our room wasn't available because they were behind on cleaning. They weren't able to give even a ballpark estimate as to when it would be ready. It ended up being ready around 6 p.m., which wasn't too much of a wait. The rooftop pool/bar area was nice. The one bartender on staff was doing a great job, but he had to keep running downstairs for ingredients and to pick up people's restaurant orders, so it caused a lot of delays (he'd be gone 20-40 min, and you were required to leave your card/open a tab for drinks, so he left people's credit cards just sitting out unattended when he ran downstairs.) It'd be great if they could assign someone to work as his runner. Overall, it was a decent hotel. Just the little things - they forgot about the bottle of sparkling wine we ordered as part of the reservation, and they tried to charge me $80 for "missing" mini bar items, when the mini bar wasn't set up in the first place.

I stayed here last winter for my birthday, and it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I was there for several days and they had a great customer service. Everyone was so welcoming in my room was amazing. The view from my balcony was so beautiful. The only thing that could’ve made it better is them allowing us to smoke on the balconies outside, but other than that it was definitely a five-star experience.

Our experience wasn't bad, but the online pictures were a little deceiving. It did not have a 4 star feel at all. The building has an old/dated feel to it. Also, the tvs have limited channels, and the hotel had no vending machines. But...there is a 7-11 right around the corner. The room was clean. The beds were super comfy. The shower had a great shower head. The pool was actually very nice. Both valets we used were very courteous.

When we first checked in for our stay, the person at the front desk, Adrian, was amazing! The atmosphere was great, with a piano player providing beautiful sounds. The next evening, however, the staff was far less professional. I had a medical event happen right outside the hotel, and the staff could barely be bothered to assist. The night staff at this hotel leaves a bad taste in my mouth in general, as they were rude and too busy chatting with each other to help when needed.

Warwick hotel stills stands to be a decent choice of boutique hotels going uptown. Very nice given the age of the hotel, lots of perks to be had when you stay. Watch out for bait and switch rates from the hotel booking it's self, if you are given 100 dollar rate for a nights stay really means 200 dollars for the night before the deposit. Really a nice place though.

This is my favorite hotel in Denver. I'm local but I've been staying here for years and it's always an excellent getaway. The downtown location is great for all the downtown Denver sites and attractions. The rooftop pool is heated and great in the off peak season. Staff is genuine and always helpful.

Great location walking distance to good restaurants. Really nice gym to use full of windows for a nice view while you workout. Valet and staff were really friendly but it did seem they were short staff as it took multiple requests for room service to finally clean our room. Good price to stay on a Friday with a $30.00 valet parking a day.

  • 3/5 Raven S. 9 months ago on Google
Way over priced. Our view was terrible.. right above the dumpsters and people sleeping outside. You can hear doors slamming from anywhere on the floor and above you. Our room was missing the charger port next to one of the beds. The balcony was baron. No hot water. Unfortunately, it was too chilly during our stay to use the pool. A hot tub would have been nice. I'm disappointed in the price I paid for the stay. I've been in more comfortable, cheaper hotels, but probably nothing better in the location. Most things were within 2 mile walk to 15 minute ride.

I love this hotel other then one time staying here was there ever any issues with reservations which they fixed for me immediately. I love the rooms are all so classy, clean, and up to date. There prices aren't even that bad for the hotel being so nice I love it. Definitely good on privacy. I wouldn't recommend this especially for business trips.
