Who did you pay off to write your reviews?!? Let’s start with the why I found a reason to give this a star… Sebastian… the bartender he was awesome. $640 for this room with spilled drink on the walls, no fridge, and circus circus level accommodations? We tried it, it was a mistake, this room booked for more than Hilton garden in $198 and brown palace $410 for the same night. Since it was New Year’s Eve we really wanted to go all out… we went all home, at 6am when we woke up freezing turned on the heater and it sounded like a locomotive drove through our room, I thought that was the “last straw” the gate was offline to get our car out of the parking garage when we abandoned this place and we had to move cones out of the way just to leave. 0/10 will never even speak of this place again to complain about it. What a joke

Wow I was totally blown away by this hotel. Came here for a weekend and didn’t have to drive much because everything is walking distance, and if it isn’t, the Maven has a courtesy driver who will take you anywhere within a two mile radius. Zach was our driver every time and he was very upbeat and pleasant, we used him a handful of times and never treated us like an inconvenience. Emily checked us into the hotel and upgraded us to one of her favorite rooms for my friend’s 60th birthday. The hotel even sent up a charcuterie board to help celebrate. Highly recommend booking here and would stay again.

The hotel is very nice and has a nice array of offerings in the adjoined Milk Market building. The dairy block is very cute and convenient to have so close. My husband and I have stayed at many other 4 star and boutique style hotels similar, and we found the service to be disappointing for several reasons. First being that we were never greeted upon arrival, no one offered to help us with our luggage, and our room was never serviced, even after we had asked for it to be. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, but the service could use some improvement.

Great hotel. Super convenient to have multiple food and drinks options at dairy block. Best gym I’ve seen for a hotel. Comfortable rooms with awesome pillows and great A/C

The room was nice enough, but the sneaky extra $52 "amenity charge" that showed up on my credit card following my stay was not cool. I wasn't told parking would be $25. Meanwhile, one of my friends used the gym so I asked if that's what amenity charge was for and was told, no, the gym is complimentary. The $25 amenity charge is for the free drink tokens at the bar, free cup of coffee from cafe and hotel discount at Dairy Block restaurants. Okay, only problem is I never received any of those "amenities" when checking in. Really glad now my friends decided to take a souvenir glass and coffee mug from the room, that almost makes up for getting screwed out of $50+

Rate was solid for the value. From 7am-12pm daily regardless of holidays the Roast Magazine award winner for best coffee roaster of 2021 Huckleberry is open for one included cup daily with your stay. You also get one free drink token per nightly stay that is available to redeem from a selection of items to include a decision house margarita that actually has tequila in it and isn't watered down and that's available from 4pm-7PM regardless of what day any holiday same as the coffee. The rooms are clean, neat, modern and not overcluttered and the vibe is awesome, especially decorated for Christmas (which is when we stayed). We would absolutely recommend whoever is reading this to stay. Please keep in mind there is an available parking garage with plenty of spaces and that will run you $25/night and this will be charged to the card on file by way of a small piece of paper with a QR code they will give you upon request and you will be able to scan in and out. They will take this from your incidental hold which was $300.

We stayed at the Maven for a special celebration evening. We had been wanting to stay at this hotel for quite awhile as we really enjoy this part of town. Overall, it was a good stay. Our room was fantastic in that it had a huge patio, the bed was very comfy with nice linens, service all around was awesome, and we really enjoyed our evening downtown and coffee on the patio in the morning. However, for the price (almost $700/night), the Maven really needs to step up their game. There were only outlets on one side of the bed (and it was clear that they had sort of rigged that power strip into the side table). The shower is good, but there are no shelves inside to keep personal items, so you have to place them on the shower floor (yuck!). There was no mini fridge and the coffee set up (messy pour over) was chintzy. Finally, the perk of this room was the big patio, so you would expect that they provide extra blankets or some way to enjoy the outdoor area in late winter, but there was nothing. When you pay luxury prices, you expect to feel pampered and have your needs anticipated, and this hotel did not meet that expectation.

Absolutely amazing hotel, they have a tonne of perks and affiliations nearby for deals and discounts, they have an amazing coffee shop and the staff was outstanding at helping us get get acquainted with the city. I have to give a shoutout to Courtney who went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our visit. I'll definitely visit again

Very chic hotel and beautiful aesthetic but kinda basic rooms and service.. The location is great very close to the Coors stadium.. lots of restaurant n easy walk around most of downtown.. overall the hotel was underwhelming .

They've tried to innovate on the concept of a hotel without paying attention to the basics. My feet were sticking out the end of the bed, there was nowhere in the room to sit and work when needed, the AC was really loud and there were no hotel-specific eating options, making it a little tricky the times I needed to eat and work in the evening. For me a hotel should at a minimum make it relatively easy and pleasant to eat, sleep and work. It didn't meet that basic mark for me, which seems silly given the price tag. Some of the 'innovations' work quite well, e.g. the gym being offsite meant it was bigger and better, and still very easy to access. I could live with the warehouse chic aesthetic even if it was a little try-hard. And the staff were friendly throughout and they seemed relatively perky and not downtrodden by the experience which was reassuring and is not always the case at some hotels. Overall though they've overthought the basic concept. Unless you really hate normal hotels and feel compelled to try something different, or want your luxury downtown hotel to make you feel marginally hip in a not unpleasant but very corporate, late adopter sort of way, I'd try somewhere else.

We had a horrible night sleep in their special loft rooms. The beds were very uncomfortable and really meant more for kids and teens? I ended up sleeping on the sofa which was softer . The temperature control in the room was very funky and often fluctuated on us. Leaving me very cold at night. The next night we were moved to a new room, within a more normal bed set up. where the beds were dreamy soft. There were cute touches in the decor in the room and overall if I was rating with just this room I would score different. I'll advice against the loft rooms if you are looking for comfort.

A trendy hotel in a great location. Staff were polite enough, but never went out of their way to help, they were gifted in what to say but a terrible attitude. Examples: 1. Rang to have some 'real' milk sent to room for coffee - was met with a very ingenuine - 'so sorry, we do not offer that service'. No attempt to even suggest where I could get milk. Ironically the food area in the hotel and the area in general is called the 'Milk Market' 2. Breakfast is a 'grab and go' concept, which by 9am was all finished/sold out - the only gluten free option was Yogurt. When given feedback on this the staff member at reception responded, yes we have heard that before and continued to say that 'the manager of the restaurant that provides breakfast is celiac, so it is odd we do not provide that, but the more feedback we get then we can make a change' So how much feedback is needed to bring change! 3. AC was effective but super loud fan, with two speeds - on or off, so every time during the night it kicked in it woke me up. Told reception and got another rather insincere, 'I am so sorry hear this let me take a note to have that looked at', then they just walked away. Room was clean and comfortable, but not big and was in an upgraded room apparently. Seating area was a swing suspended from the ceiling, was comfortable but not practical when 2 people staying in the room, yet the room catered for 2 as there was a double vanity. Bathroom was nice, large shower which was actually a little too big, but no shelf to put your own personal toiletries, instead you place on the shower floor. Daily service needs to be requested, but they come after 2pm in my experience. The one thing that did make me laugh the most was that for a hotel with mostly Gen Y&Z people, there was a huge amount of single use plastics. It was very expensive, and was not value for money. I would stay in the area again, but not at this hotel. This was also from the AMEX luxury hotel collection, so that also made it disappointing, compared to other stays that AMEX offer.

We've come to the Maven a few times now and it's always enjoyable, they always get me started on the right foot with a complimentary beverage at the Airstream in the lobby. The Dairy Block has become such a fun part of town, and the Maven acts as a great base of operations for a night on the town, you don't have to go very far to let the good times roll! Some have mentioned a lack of typical amenities but... We tend to only sleep there 🤣🍻, which is perfectly fine! Such a quaint and unique hotel. We will certainly return yet again! 🎉🍻.

Might be the coolest hotel I have ever stayed at. Located downtown Denver on the dairy block. The vibe and atmosphere is like no other. Close to everything. Highly recommended.

I've never stayed at unique hotel. Our group booked 3 rooms for a few days in the city before driving out west for skiing and snowboarding. We loved the room swings, the bathroom design, and smart use of spaces. Our room overlooked an alley bustling with life in the evening which quieted down by night. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were extremely helpful! My luggage was broken at the airport so I had a new one delivered by Amazon a day before my arrival. They held it for me and delivered it to my room without me having to ask! All in all, a wonderful experience, and I look forward to another visit to The Maven Hotel.

Loved this spit and will be back. Recieved as a present we decided to come stay for our anniversary. Staff took really good care of us. We were upgraded, and the room was wonderful. Loved the location and things that were offered. Hotel seems to cater to couples or singles not really a kid atmosphere. The courtesy car was super easy and a nice feature. The room service from Kachina was out of the world! Omg the food was amazing! Everthing you need to enjoy a night is right there or well within the block which was handy. There is a public parking lot literalmy across the street is valet isnt your style (its not ours) The only small and I mean small thing was the person that helped us check in didn't really seem connected to our experiance or understood the offerings of the hotel (I seemed to tell him things I saw but again super small) but this also didn't take away much from the experiance as I had done my research and will Def be back. Such an amazing experience!

I called the front desk to ask for an early check-in. Courtney was so nice and she told me she would let me know. She called to tell me my room was ready a couple of hours earlier. We were upgraded to a very nice room since it was our 33rd Anniversary. We were blown away at how nice the room was. We hope to be back very soon.

Make sure to use HoteIDully.ᴄᴏm when booking a resort. This web site will compare hundreds of booking web sites and usually will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This resort is the best rated in the area. I've been staying here for years. If you stay for a few days you won't be disappointed. Great hotel with awesome local food options that you know are sourced responsibly. They also have a great gym for the travelers who like to lift. In the heart of downtown so lots of things to do and places to shop. Highly recommend

I've had the opportunity to photograph multiple weddings at the Maven Hotel at Dairy Block. The kindness and professionalism from the staff and management has been superb every time. As a photographer, the locations inside and out are like a artistic playground. So many places to capture great portraits for the bride and groom. Another plus is that it is located close to Union Station, Coors field, and many other downtown areas that are minutes away. This is great for when I have a small window for couples portraits, wedding party photos, etc. If you are planning your wedding for a downtown feel, you can't go wrong at this location!

This hotel is so unique! I absolutely adore how it's crafted together and the chair swings are really what got me! This place is a piece of art and it allows you to go back in time but stay on time fortunately but unfortunately I can't say a negative attribute about The Maven! The staff are super friendly and attentive to all of your needs. No pet rent, so it's dog friendly! That's a big plus in my eyes as my fur baby goes anywhere I do!! If he's not welcome, then I'm not welcome, and I click my 👠's and return home to find a more suitable place. The bathrooms are get lost in! The artwork all over this hotel is soothing. This is a great spot if you're visiting Denver or if you're like me and just getting some me time. If you're a unique being, don't mind being different, this place is for you! And if you're a sheep, like everyone else, you'll enjoy this one too! It has qualities anyone will adore 🥰!!! Xx

We were over the moon with our stay at The Maven. Kristin and the front desk staff are incredibly friendly and helped us make the most of our stay. The rooms are super cute and modern with amazing views. We love the artsy vibe of the whole place, swing while you wait for the elevator? Yes please. The restaurants and bars downstairs are also praise worthy and super hip. Love that you get a free happy hour drink too. This is the perfect home base for a stay in Denver. We enjoyed starting the day with a cup of coffee at Huck. Hope to come back the next time we are in town!

My gf and I had an amazing time at this hotel, even thought we were only there for one night. It began when we arrived and met Davin (rhymes with Maven) at the front desk. I had thought I booked a room with a bathtub, which it turns out, I did not. Davin then said to me, "let me just look at something" and then promptly upgraded us to a master suite with a gigantic circular soaking tub! The room was unbelievable and we took full advantage. And the location was everything. The full name of the hotel when I booked was The Maven at Dairy Block... and it turns out that the hotel lobby is shared with an entire block of fantastic indoor eateries and bars, with menu selections so unique and delicious we're already talking about a trip back. They also have a free car service that will take you anywhere within a two mile radius, which turns out is everywhere you'd possibly want to go. Aaron drove the car and was also very kind, personable and helpful (a recurring theme here). We left our bags at the desk with two more very helpful and kind mavens (see!) of The Maven (didn't get names, but personalities on par with Davin and Aaron). Everyone was so genuine and helpful and kind the place was just great and in the perfect location. I don't leave reviews often, but I had to about this place and the fine people who run it.

If this were just location, 5 ⭐! However the rooms could be a lot better. If you are looking for a place to stay that is in the heart of everything and has awesome amenities such as restaurants, bars, nightlife, this could definitely work for you. However, if you are also expecting a five-star room for that price you may be disappointed. Positives: 1 the location, awesome area. 2 the bartenders at Kachina are phenomenal! Liam is great! 3 the rooms are very quiet 4 the soaking tub is awesome 5 The shower feels like a water hug 6 The balconies overlook the Milk district which is hopping, but close the door and you can't hear a thing. Negatives: There is a lot of wasted space for the sake of aesthetics. There is a bar instead of a desk (behind the bed in photos). No mini fridge when surrounded by restaurants, but plenty of space for one. No place to put clothing other than this tiny drawer unit, similar to a vanity drawer (across from the bed). There were clumps of hair in the shower, but no shelf to set soap, razor, etc. Broken electrical plugs, and others unable to access. I don't know that I would stay here again.

We had a fantastic long weekend at the Maven! The hotel is clean, stylish, and close to everything you could ever need. The 2-mile courtesy car was a nice plus, along with the hotels close proximity to the A-line train which takes you straight to the airport. Grace at the front desk was the stand-out star of our stay, always friendly and helped me with some special requests to be in the room upon check-in. The valet guys are also very friendly, and efficient. There were a few parts that disappointed/surprised me, such as no complimentary breakfast and a promise to a room upgrade that never happened, but still ended up on the bill. The billing issue was resolved before we left the hotel with no troubles. With that being said, we 100% would stay at the Maven again on a future trip to Denver, it’s a fantastic hotel for both business and leisure.

We booked the Maven Hotel for our wedding block and it was above and beyond our highest expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff was so friendly and accomodating. They upgraded our room for our wedding, and the suite we were in was stellar and made for the perfect place for all of the getting ready festivities. The cleaning staff did an excellent job restoring the room and we were welcomed back later with an extra special handwritten note and thoughtful gifts. Valet and room service was quick, and the rooms themselves were modern, comfortable, and well decorated. This was the perfect hotel for us to have had for our wedding block; in addition to the excellent rooms and service, it's location in Denver and within the Milk Market made for a wonderful experience for our wedding guests. We love the Maven and would highly recommend it!

We staying at The Maven for our wedding weekend and had a wonderful time! The staff in the sales office, front desk and event staff was wonderful. The hotel is cool, modern and fun. The onsite bar was a perfect location to spend time with our guests after our events. Samantha & Blair were great to work with. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone that asked!

My stay at The Maven was nothing but amazing. The Hotel staff was very accommodating and the amenities are everything you could need. I highly recommend stopping by kachina for a drink and definitely don't skip out on Huckleberry Roasters for your morning coffee. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Lastly, the hotel is prefect walking distance to everything downtown Denver can offer!

Really enjoyed our stay at The Maven. The staff are a particular standout, everyone who works here, from the concierge to security, is friendly, sweet, and professional. On of the guys at the door, Aaron, drove us to pick up a rental and gave us some great tips along the way. The room has a minimalist vibe, but the bed was comfy, the shower and bathroom was spacious, and the balcony was great. Tough to beat the location as well, right in the heart of downtown and near some great restaurants and shopping. And, to top it off, there was a local market happening in the alley outside of the hotel, which was really well done and full of cool stuff. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent staff - so friendly and courteous. I don't write many reviews but really wanted to say thanks to the Maven. My wife and I came in for Valentine's Day/Superbowl weekend for our first time in Denver and it was memorable. Despite our airline losing our luggage, the hotel staff was so awesome in helping my wife find a nearby shop to buy a dress for our evening out. They also gave us extra drink tokens and recommendations to other nearby shopping and dining sympathizing with our lost luggage situation. We will be back!

Amazing hotel with a spectacular team. Check in was super easy and efficient. Told about all the awesome amenity benefits, including discounts at the dairy block restaurants and shops. Rooms are very nice and clean. The shuttle was an unexpected surprise. This location is perfect... walking distance to everything. Would definitely stay at The Maven again.

This hotel is a gem! From first check-in, we were greeted by a super friendly representative who upgraded our room and provided us with tokens for their daily happy hour. The room is spacious, with a city view, and the finishings are all neat. Bed was comfy and room was set up with a great workspace. There's a fun swing inside! The hotel is surrounded by bars, restaurants, and beautiful artistic installations. We loved the live music Friday night. Highly recommend anyone looking to experience Denver stay at the Maven!
