Outlandishly overpriced for what the rooms are. The bed felt like sleeping on paper. The room, while large, was outdated with wallpaper peeling in the bathroom. Light switches were randomly located all over the place instead of a centralized key pad the way you might find at Equinox hotels. The spa cost $75 just to use the sauna and hot tub--even for hotel guests. There was no minibar--just an empty fridge and some coffee and tea options. No minibar at a supposed top-rated hotel? They try to remedy this by having someone knock on your door and offer refreshments. Just no. The concierges were, for the most part, incredibly nice and helpful. However, when I entered the hotel to pick up my luggage after checking out, a concierge asked me if I was a guest at the hotel and said that only guests were welcome. I've never been so offended. I was wearing khakis and a button-up, look younger than the average guest, and haven't shaved because it's my vacation. Did I not look rich enough for your precious, extortionate motel? I want my money back. All of it. I could have paid $160 for a Comfort Inn and had a better experience. I'm not even trying to be facetious saying that. I've stayed at Comfort Inn hotels with better customer care and a bed that doesn't feel and sound like you're rolling around in aluminum foil. Frankly, it's impressive Marriott Bonvoy gets away with such thievery. Congrats on being one more American corporation that functions exclusively to benefit investors and increase CEO pay while making your guests feel like the serfs you clearly believe they are. My guess is that I'm not the only one enraged and offended and look forward to hearing from others on social media about why they'll never stay at this hotel again.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Ritz-Carlton in Denver, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped through the grand entrance, I was greeted with a level of luxury and service that surpassed all expectations. The hotel's location is superb, nestled in the heart of downtown Denver, making it convenient to explore the city's attractions, restaurants, and entertainment. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, this location is perfect. The rooms at The Ritz-Carlton are tastefully decorated, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the room, from the plush bedding to the well-appointed bathroom. The view from my room was stunning, overlooking the city skyline. What truly sets The Ritz-Carlton apart is its impeccable service. The staff is attentive, courteous, and always eager to assist with any request. From the front desk to the concierge, everyone goes out of their way to ensure you have a memorable stay. The Ritz-Carlton's amenities are top-notch. The fitness center is well-equipped, and the spa offers a range of treatments to help you relax and rejuvenate. The rooftop pool and bar provide a beautiful setting to soak up the sun and enjoy panoramic views of the city. In conclusion, The Ritz-Carlton, Denver, is the epitome of luxury and hospitality. It's the ideal choice for a memorable and indulgent stay in the Mile High City. I can't wait to return to this exceptional hotel for another unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

This review is geared toward those that travel often and have earned some level of status within the Marriott loyalty program. My wife and I were delayed going thru Denver and decided to find an upscale Marriott property with a 24/7 gym and restaurant open late. The Ritz Carleton offer no advantages to being a Titanium level Marriott Bonvoy member. The restaurant closed by 9pm so we were stuck ordering room service that was quite expensive. The next morning I discover we don’t have access to the Club a level Lounge. Of all the perks I cherish with the loyalty programs, it is access to a Club Lounge to eat toast and enjoy coffee without spending $30 on breakfast. I’ll offer the gym is updated and open 24/7. Highly recommend avoiding if you are a status holding traveler. Lesson learned on staying at any upscale Marriott property.

Room not very clean, particularly bathroom. The most important thing I look for in my stay is cleanliness and this luxury hotel is lacking. I would give 1 star but the reason I am giving 3 stars is because of Jose in the Club Lounge. Wonderful host, helpful, kind. Hope the hotel will address housekeeping issues.

The room was nice, I had to request a refrigerator and microwave be added to my room. The attached restaurant was good, over priced do to the location. I will return to the restaurant, maybe not the hotel. The front desk respects your clothes, if you're dressed to have fun the front desk is definitely different. The front desk should be the first face of the business and make me and my party welcome and they should do better for the future. It's a nice down town location and good luck parking.

Very well appointed rooms and very quiet as well. The room and temperature were excellent and, with the comfortable bed, it was a great stay. The restaurant was closed on the ground floor due to renovation and there was construction noise when checking in, but none in the room. Would definitely choose this location again.

I had the opportunity to capture a wedding at this hotel. It was absolutely gorgeous, but mostly fit for smaller weddings. The grand staircase and chandeliers are stunning. The hallways feature luxury items such as a grand piano and there is plenty of greenery surrounding the hotel for both city and natural type photoshoots.

The rooms are very nice, but nothing spectacular. I must say, I was a little underwhelmed with the rooms in comparison to other places I've stayed. I wasn't "wowed" by anything that was included. Despite that, the staff was spectacular. Everyone was very inviting and helpful. Even the housekeeping service made every effort to make pleasant small talk and inquire about your day (it honestly seemed genuine and not forced). The food was delightful. I was in for a business meeting and I can honestly say it was some of THE BEST hotel food I've ever had. There is also great artwork and a ton of tasty restaurants in walking distance. Some warnings- Even you're looking for some exercise, don't use the stairs at the end of the hall. You WILL get locked out of all the floors and be forced to go outside prior to coming back in. I suspect this is for security purposes. The stairwell is fairly pleasant and carpeted, until you reach the end, then WATCH OUT not sure what was behind the tattered vent that was half my size. You need the appropriate card for the floor you are accessing. This would seem like it is very secure and easy to navigate, however, when you are there for a conference and there are 7 people in the elevator, all with rooms on a different floor, EVERYONE must scan their card to access their individual floor. This resulted in people on the lower floors frequently having to wait for the elevator to go up then go back down to get to their floor because they did not scan their card in time. You have been warned.

The service was out of this world! Everyone was so helpful and kind. Anything you need they will get taken care of. Beautiful interior and rooms. The food was some of the best I've ever had.

Don’t get me wrong-the Ritz-Carlton is a very lovely hotel with attentive, caring staff. BUT, the place needs a little TLC. The trim in my room was in rough shape. Handles were missing off the tv console. The carpet was stained (I kept trying to tell myself it was all part of the pattern but I’m pretty sure some of it was stains). The doorman went above and beyond getting us a car to take us to see Elton John. The room service for breakfast was delicious. The location is amazing. We did request a 2 room suite but received 2 connected rooms. The bed is super comfortable and the shower is hot and powerful which are the most important part of the stay for me. Plus they had the biggest pumpkin I have ever seen sitting in the lobby hahaha!

We come here often to do hair and makeup for guests attending conventions or special events. The hotel rooms boast great space and excellent lighting, and the hotel staff consistently exceeds our expectations in accommodating our needs if we have ever needing anything! a 5 star experience each and every time.

Everything about our stay at the Ritz Carlton Denver was perfect. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, in particular the front desk staff and valets. Our suite was very roomy and lovely. We couldn't be happier with our entire experience and will absolutely return whenever we head back to Denver.

The hotel room appears to be quite outdated compared to other Ritz-Carlton hotels I've stayed at. One surprising aspect is the additional fees for delivering food to your room. After ordering from Uber Eats, I received a call from the front desk, inquiring whether I intended to pick up the food myself or preferred them to deliver it to my room, with a $5 delivery fee. This is the first time I've encountered a Marriott hotel charging a fee for delivering Uber Eats to a room, especially as a Titanium Elite member. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience, and I would not recommend it.

Not worth the money, especially with rude service. I stayed at this location last weekend and will not return. What happened to your great customer service, Ritz? From the moment I arrived until the time I left, I didn’t have one welcoming interaction from a staff member. Very disappointing, especially considering the price. I don’t mind paying for good service or lavish rooms, but this Ritz no longer has either. The only person who took responsibility for contributing to a poor customer experience was the valet, who admitted he forgot to get my car upon checkout. He actually took care of the valet price. I was also charged twice for my room and had to call to sort it out—and was told it was because I made a mistake in booking and didn’t cancel my second room (but I only received one confirmation email). My friend and I had booked spa services and were told to show up early—but the spa wasn’t open when we showed up, and the two women working at the spa desk were not friendly when we checked in or left. For spending $1500 in less than 24 hours, I could have stayed somewhere else and been treated much better. Don’t waste your money.

While I'm typically a fan of Ritz-Carlton, I will never stay at the Denver location again and recommend the Four Seasons instead for folks looking for a luxury stay in Denver. The room was nice and the in-room dining staff was absolutely lovely, but the front desk service was the worst I have ever experienced at a five-star hotel. There were also smaller misses that were surprising for what is supposed to be a luxury hotel, such as the housekeeping returning and knocking repeatedly despite the privacy sign on the door, and shampoo missing from the bathroom.

The Ritz Carlton Denver has the kindest most genuine employees I have ever met. I could never say enough about this staff- especially: Ashley, Susie and Tyler. During our stay, my 4 yr old daughter’s lifelong stuffed animal and best friend became lost. The housekeeping attendant accidentally wrapped him up in the linens while changing the bedding. I immediately went down and notified the front desk attendant, Tyler. He worked tirelessly along side Ashley from room operations and Susie from Housekeeping management to get a plan. After searching the whole hotel they called their contracted linen service and we were able to find the bunny. Now, as if that weren’t amazing enough: Susie and her team then posed Flapjack (the bunny’s name) around the Ritz property taking pictures and created a storyline so my daughter thinks he had an amazing adventure. The rooms here are great but the real standout is the people. The sheer kindness and human spirit they showed to get Flapjack back to us will forever be appreciated!! Thank you - Ashley, Tyler, Susie and anyone else that made this happen for my little girl! Below is an image of Flapjack safe at home with the storyboard!

A Wonderful Experience! Our Conference was at this hotel, was my 1st Conference experience at a Ritz Carlton. From the moment I checked in I was warmly greeted, and everyone here from the bottom up worked together to ensure my stay was the best it could be. Some highlights and Ladies and Gentlemen who touched me during my stay: - I arrived early and appreciated that everything was notated and set for me for early check-in. - My 1st stop was the Club Lounge, warmly greeted by Tamila who ensured I had everything I needed. I was most impressed when I learned she was the Club Lounge manager and even more so when I mentioned I admired that she was working on a Sunday, and she responded "she wanted to be sure she took care of her team who works so hard". - Next was my visit to the SPA where I had a very relaxing massage by Trevor who was wonderful, truly listened to me, and had one of the most relaxing massages I have ever had and wished every SPA had a Tempur-Pedic mattress! - Following my massage, I went back to the Club Lounge where I was warmly greeted by Jose who just lit up the room with his wonderful personality. I also enjoyed meeting Kenneth, Marcos, Diana, and Myla - they were also so kind, helpful and always there ahead of anticipating any needs and ensuring every guest was well taken care of. The Club Lounge here feels like home with separate hospitality rooms in the lounge. It was where I lived, albeit at brief intervals! Please also thank your Chef and Kitchen Staff for all they do...everything was prepared with love and care and the Beef Barley soup was the VERY BEST I have ever had! - A special thanks to Michelle, from Bell Services who delivered personal packages to me and throughout the week. - The ENTIRE Valet Team was very personal and wanting to assist with directions, luggage, anything transportation they were a wonderful group to greet guests making a positive impression every day! - This is a great story... my Nespresso machine wasn't working and where other than the Ritz that when you call downstairs at 5:30 AM requesting a new machine when they service the room thatTony not only shared that hot coffee was available in the lobby now, he also insisted that someone deliver me a cup! In less than 2 minutes, I had a hot delicious cup of coffee at my door, thank you for helping me jump start my morning...little things mean a lot! - Lastly, this is a tribute to Mr. Brad Mills and ALL the Ladies and Gentlemen at Ritz Carlton, Denver. You and your team faced a unique challenge, with 1 of 3 elevators operating when a conference was in the house! You could not have managed or handled the situation any better, while the elevator was unfortunate timing and totally out of your control, you and your team were PROACTIVE, took control and made a difficult situation a positive by being visible and helping at every juncture! - it was incredible! EVERYONE stepped up for 2 days to help and ensure your guests were well taken care of, while being sympathetic to the delays and thanking each one of us for our patience and understanding. It was sincere and made a positive difference, THANK YOU! I hope to return next year, and should the opportunity presents itself in the meantime, I would love to return to Denver and stay again!

I hate to leave a bad review for any business, but having reached out to management and received no response, I have little choice but to share this experience publicly. A couple of weeks back, we were visiting Denver to attend a two MLB baseball games. My son figured out that the visiting team was staying at this hotel, so we went by the property for him to try and get an autograph or photo from players. One of the concierge / front door staff was so rude to my 10 and 7 year old children that they will forever remember him. This easily identifiable large, bald gentleman, who likely had a past career as nightclub bouncer, rudely told us to get off the property for having our feet touching the driveway while resting on a public curb separating the sidewalk from the hotel in 90 degree daytime heat. When I questioned him about his tone, he doubled down and told us that he would call the police if we trespassed again. I told him to do what he needed to do, as his aggression was so completely unnecessary. My son then saw a couple of players leaving the hotel to walk to Coors Field and he ran around the corner to get an autograph. This employee chased him and screamed at him when my son accidentally stepped on the driveway. My son returned to me in tears. I understand and appreciate what the job requires. I appreciate that this employee was taking his job seriously. However, we were not commercial autograph hounds. My son is a die hard fan of the team that was staying at the hotel and he simply wanted to meet his heroes. Treating children this way, including threatening them with the police, is unacceptable on every level imaginable. I am willing to remove this review once the hotel contacts me, but if I do not hear a response, i will post a photo of the individual in question so that this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Loved our stay. We booked despite some negative reviews, and were not disappointed! Truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The club level food was superb and convenient, the staff were great, and the room was everything we expected and more. Thank you, Ritz staff, for an A+ experience!

My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway and we loved it! We enjoyed walking to vibe coffee shop and all the sites of Denver. The staff was very friendly and I just have to shout out Julie in the spa. She really went above and beyond to make my husband and I feel so welcomed and pampered! We are a Platinum rewards member and felt it! Our room was upgraded and we received early and late check in and out. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I recently stayed here as a little staycation for my birthday. The staff was so so friendly and attentive, this sweet lady at the desk named Patricia coordinated setting up a little gift bag and bottle of champagne in our room for me since it was my birthday! We stayed in a suite and it was very roomy, lots of space and it was very clean. Overall, the highlight of our stay would be the staff. They made the stay worth it!

Staying at the Ritz Denver was a true reminder of what sets the Ritz-Carlton above all other hotels and that is the people who work there. They have such pride in their hotel and it shows. They went over an beyond to make sure our trip to Denver was a memorable one. They cared about their guest so much and any request we made they were more than happy to fill. Thank you so much Ritz Denver for making our 1st Mile Stone anniversary visiting the Mile High City such an unforgettable and magical experience that we will continue to enjoy telling all our friends and family about. Your remodeled rooms are stunning too! Absolutely love the staff on the Club level...it is worth the splurge to enjoy the club.

My wife and I stayed in room 1215 for four nights. The room was great and the service was outstanding – I can’t say enough about the staff on this level who are over the top in delivering a very nice experience to the guests. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I hope to stay here again if my travels take me back to Denver.

My trip was simply amazing….I arrived the weekend leading into Halloween this year to celebrate with my good friend. The front desk associates Curtis and Kathryn went above and beyond to ensure my stay was magical. Also Jose in the lounge is such an asset to the Ritz Carlton Denver…simply the best. And our server Tess at the steak house ELWAY’S on site literally made our night with her knowledge of everything on the menu Including what to do after we finished eating. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone staying in Denver. It is literally an oasis in the middle of the city! 5 stars!!!

Stood here for the 2021 All star game. Price was good, room was good, staff could care less in helping… only 1 restaurant which also served room service and it was not that good…. I have stayed at plenty of Ritz all over the world and this lacks a lot….

We came to Denver to celebrate our anniversary. The Ritz-Carlton turned out to be a fantastic hotel for us. We stayed in a corner suite and we were able to enjoy the restaurant downstairs, walk to various locations such as LoDo and RiNo, and get tips and tricks from the staff and valet on places to go and things to see. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a huge bathroom, two TVs, and a view of the base park. Thanks for making our trip comfortable and welcoming!

My husband and I did a Denver staycation here recently and the spa, fitness center and spacious suite were definitely worth it. I know some of the reviews of this location were a bit vanilla even for a Ritz but the suite we stayed in was definitely a five-star rating. I would absolutely recommend this hotel especially if you are traveling for business and need to stay in the downtown-financial district.

Tired, old, outdated and not well maintained. Terrible water pressure and problems with hot water. In desperate need of a refresh. Definitely not Ritz standards. Just an average hotel. No room service or food after 10:00 pm. Underwhelming at best. Definitely not worth $600 + per night. On a positive note, staff was great

My fiance and I recently chose to stay at the Ritz-Carlton in Denver and were incredibly impressed. The room was immaculate, the staff was warm/friendly, and the food was exceptional. The best part, though, was how the Ritz-Carlton staff, specifically Patricia Horgan (Guest Experience Expert and Concierge) went out of her way to make our stay a true celebration for our recent engagement. Patricia coordinated our stay at the Ritz and even helped me plan out final details of the proposal (to include weather/timing recommendations for Colorado hikes and surprise deliveries upon arrival to the hotel). Her interactions with us and attentiveness made our stay one for the books. Thank you, Patricia and Ritz-Carlton! We'll be back soon.

In town for a small business event with catering and was blown away by the warm welcome and over the top accommodation for my dietary challenges. They made some amazing dishes-- main course, special desserts, even drinks just for me so that I would not be left out. In addition to suiting my allergies, they were completely delicious and beautiful. Rooms are spotless and every detail was attended to. Confused by some knocks at my door in the early afternoon, only to find they were trying to bring me more chocolates and coffee. Wonderful stay-- highly recommend it for vacation or events in the Denver area.
