I was pretty excited to go at this hotel and relax with a cold room since it’s been so hot, we get to the room and the air conditioning does not work I called to the front desk and explained what was the problem the only response I get “I’m sorry we can’t do nothing at this point since the maintenance guy is off worked and we can’t get you another room because there all full you can try to leave the window open” How I'm going to leave it opened when it’s super loud outside as we know Denver is always busy. Pretty sad that the staff couldn’t do nothing $220 a night went to trash. Hopefully this does not happened to anyone else because we know when it’s hot you can’t sleep at all.

Given the decent rating and the good-looking pictures, I had high hopes for this hotel. It wasn't overly cheap, so the fact that within the first 5 minutes the receptionist expressed how excited she was that she might get to pepper spray someone who was being kicked out, and then we were greeted with a previously-broken lock on our door, I was disappointed to say the least. The room was covered in poor patch and paint jobs as well as cigarette burn marks, the bathroom sink faucet was literally lifting out of the counter, and the bathroom shelf was barely hanging on. That being said, the food was decent for being free, and the parking lot was more than large enough to accommodate everyone staying there. But that's about all the good I can say about this place.

The rooms were very nice, clean and new. Two observations: there were three microwaves (?), The tub was very slippery getting in and out. My mother put a bath mat in the bottom of the tub which solved the problem. If you were to actually use the kitchen for cooking, there wasn't much in the way of dishes but you could get by if you only had a two people. I didn't see a hot tub but there was a pool. The breakfast was fantastic. They had eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, Cold cereal, juices, yogurt, fresh fruits, etc etc. Well situated and easy to find.

My swim in the pool was like swimming through oil. There were large clumps of black and brown hair at the bottom of the pool and on floor around it. As I swam, I'd get others' long hair entangled in my fingers - gross! There was corroded metal on the door. Some chronic smoker used back door that lead outside as their private smoking area, as there were lots of cigarette butts strewn about. I just got a general unclean feeling around pool and cut my swim there short. Rooms were fine, no problem, though there are no in-room telephones. There are fridges, microwaves and a coffeemaker. As for location, it's convenient, but there is only one way in and one way out. One must enter coming from the south on Federal. There is a free continental breakfast buffet, which offers make-your-own waffles, yogurt, bananas, apples, juice machine, coffee machine, powdered eggs reconstituted with water in the form of scrambles and in omelets, sausage links, bagels, toast and muffins. Housekeeping knocked on my door at least twice, even after telling them the first time that I was checking out that day - quit being so pesky!

$300+ a night? Seriously? If you like dirty floors, trash from someone else in your trash can, freeway noise, sofas with stains and hair all over them, then you’ll love this place. The good news is, the front desk was very nice and showed us three rooms before we said one was acceptable (still the floor and sofa were stained and had little pieces of trash on them).

Our room that was reserved and paid for was rented to a walk in because our plane didn't land until 445am and we got there at 5-515am. Even though I called 2 days in advance and informed them. We were then sent to a sister hotel who on the third morning of being there my fiance was denied breakfast because he didn't have a ticket that we were never were informed about. Had to come up to room and wake me up at 6am to come down and be told by the same girl who checked us in that we didn't pay there we were a walk over and that she would add him to room. She gave him a ticket that was then never asked for. We checked out and was told that we weren't getting 50 dollar cash deposit back because we smoked in room.we never did always outside and when asked to see this supposed ash was showed a black spec on his finger. That appeared to be dirt or pepper. Horrible place!

A friend of mine made reservations here and I was present through his check-in process and spent some time visiting with him there. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. The location was convenient to highway 6 and Federal boulevard including Transit access. There was ample parking and an on-site restaurant. I did not visit the restaurant so cannot speak on that. My friend's room was clean, aesthetically pleasing, it was comfortable and had a sitting area with couch and coffee table to accommodate me, as his guest. The condition of the furniture and the room decorations as well as the bathroom all were exceedingly clean and new in appearance. My friend claims to have slept comfortably in his bed without any disturbances through the night. This motel is very convenient to access downtown Denver yet the price is fair, in a moderate range. I would recommend it to any of my family or friends visiting Denver.

The room was.... (trying to be nice here). Let's just say I was there for a few days, and one microwave was busted and didn't work. The other was so small. The room was one that looked clean when you first walked into it, but then, as you're there, it's not really that clean at all. The couch was horrible. Looked like one you picked up on the side of the road.....back in the 80s. It did have a pool and took kids down (too crowded to enjoy it), but it seemed to be in decent shape. They did have breakfast there, and it was pretty good. Southern potatoes were a bit dry. I had to ask for tea because they keep it in back. But overall, breakfast was the best part. Alot to choose from. Customer service was so so. Checking in was pretty good, but when I came down later for tea, (they didn't have any in the room. All the stuff for coffee, but no tea. Or coffee maker for that matter, but I don't use those, so no biggie on that.) it seemed like that was a big inconvenience. Would I stay here again. I would have to say no. Cleanliness is a big thing for me, and that wasn't that good.

So much negative to say about this stay. I will NEVER be staying here again. I have stayed at this hotel every year for just about six years in a row. We had a one year break (we didn't come last year), and in that year span A LOT has changed. The hotel is definitely under newer management, which is part of the problem. Ana, the general manager, does not know how to effectively speak with customers. I am not sure if she is just awkward or simply that rude. Nonetheless, every time I spoke with her, OR ANY OF THE SIX FAMILIES SPOKE TO HER, she was nothing but rude. The first time, before our stay, she was extremely rude to me about hotel rates on FIVE rooms-- I guess five rooms bringing her hotel over a $1000 profit in two days is not sufficient for her. Then, she had me send paperwork to her, and she never had the courtesy to inform me whether she did or did not receive the paperwork. Since Ana could not send a simple email back, I had to call the hotel again and this time spoke to a different receptionist. And, it is a good thing I called because Ana had NOT told me she put our five rooms in the MainStay portion of this hotel, which - by the way, I had requested NOT to be in. Then, come to find out, the paperwork for these rooms was never applied or saved for these rooms (again Ana's fault). The receptionist I spoke to was the MOST helpful and welcoming throughout our entire stay here. However, Ana and Leslie were very unkind and unprofessional towards our entire party, and they (Ana and Leslie) later said the receptionist i spoke to did everything wrong and did not know what she was talking about because she is "just a front desk receptionist" -- literally throwing her under the bus right to our faces! So unprofessional. Literally....This just kept getting worse. We were told families that were staying in the other 4 rooms could check-in once they arrived because we knew with weather conditions that I would not likely arrive prior to everyone else. Notes were written that families could check-in prior to me arriving; however, when the day came, Ana and Leslie were extremely rude to the families. At first telling them that they could not check-in without me there-- to which I had to call and explain AGAIN that we were driving in terrible weather conditions and that this had already been discussed. They reluctantly followed through and allowed the family to check-in, but proceeded to tell them that if I was not there by 930 that they would be "kicked out!" They were not very compassionate or understanding in these events and were just simply worried about making sure they got all of their money. And, even proceeded to call us TWO more times asking where we were. I do believe if we would not have called or answered, they would have sold our rooms! Once we FINALLY arrived, 8 hours later-- in what should have been a 3 hour drive -- we were not greeted warmly. Both Leslie and Ana, again, only cared about their money. More complications were had with paperwork and things (which was at no one's specific fault), but Ana -THE MANAGER- never once spoke to me directly during all of this process. She would speak to Leslie, who would then relay what Ana had said. Ana had no clue how to handle some of the paperwork we needed, acted like the paperwork that was sent to her was not accurate, and was beyond rude to us about it. Ana also was not truthful about handling a situation with this paperwork, and due to that, the issue was never resolved. Ana is not an appropriate fit for manager, and is not worried about supporting customers. While I understand the business side of things, I also understand that there is a balance. These two have zero balance and care only about money. Everyone entering that hotel is just another money sign to them, and they will not help you to ensure you have a great experience at their hotel. This is also apparent in the appearance of the hotel...GROSS!

I’m really disappointed in the cleaning staff’s honesty as I left a couple of items in room 321. I was positive that I left that in the bathroom door rack and just forgot to pack them up but for some reason the cleaning staff keep insisting that they saw nothing… and I don’t see the items anywhere in my luggage and that hotel was the last place I stayed at in Denver. Super disappointed in the cleaning staffs honesty.

Overpriced! Stayed in a Suite and couldn't sleep at night because of a loud noise from the mini refrigerator. The shower head had no water pressure couldn't wash my hair. The toilet paper holder was broken. The bed squirt was torn. Also check your receipt so you don't get overcharged.

First night, my truck was stolen out of the parking log. They have cameras but useless. Management did not care and did not help me with the problem. I did reported it to them. One night would be fine but mult nights have problems. I stayed longer than one night (no chioce). The problem is they would not make up the bed and give coffee for next day. I had to go downstairs to get coffee in the morning. I understand and OK not to change towels and linens but not make up the bed(?).

Room and hotel was definitely clean but housekeepers need to be trained to pay attention to a clogged or slow drain... it's so gross to have brushed your teeth and spit into the sink with a clogged drain, nasty! Also the pool wasn't heated at all, the water was cold and so was the pool room...heat that water and the area!

This one is probably one of the best Comfort Suites I have stayed. Conveniently located, very clean room, comfortable king size bed and friendly staff. However the ac unit in our room was a little noisy and the bathroom water flow was slow. Not a big deal. Excellent hotel as a 2 star property.

Spend the extra $40 to stay somewhere nice downtown! There was a big wad of hair in the couch and in general the room wasn’t very clean. Also, there’s no way to close the curtains and there are extremely bright stadium style lights 30 feet from the hotel. The pool noise is extremely loud and echoey in the rooms.

Staff was pleasant and helpful, however this hotel needs some TLC. We rented a room with a jacuzzi tub which couldn't be used as there wasn't enough warm (it was never hot) water. All the bulbs in fixtures were just bare bulbs with so globes, furniture was extremely worn and peeling, sofa (which was a pull out bed) was very dilapidated, and I think there was a used bandaid next to the tub (however I never got close enough to check for sure). It also had tile missing and just a plastic cover set against the hole to cover it. It got bumped several times a d would fall down. All in all it was very disgusting. The location was nice and the staff was nice, the rest was ewww.

Darien & Mara saved my vacation! After a horrible experience with Airbnb, they helped my group and I find an enjoyable suite with a reasonable price. Their hospitality was a truly excellent and hands down unforgettable. They turned my trip around from a nightmare to a blessing in disguise.

Hotel itself was an average Comfort Suites. However the real danger was loose off leash dogs and dangerous aggressive pit bulls. A pit bull lunged at a hotel guest and was growling at and lunging at children, including my two year old. Neither the dog owner or the hotel management were willing to do anything about it. Eventually police had to be called. The hotel was also reeking of Marijuana. This hotel is not safe for children and families.

The hotel is nothing fancy by any means. Our room was clean but there were plenty of dings and ware and tear in the room. Not to mentioned what appeared to be a bloody fingerprint on the wall separating the couch from the bed. There was also a red stain on the left side of the mattress. One light fixture in our room didnt even have a cover on the light. It was just the bulb. The couch cushions were sunkened in and looked very used. The breakfast was not appetizing at all. The elevators were extremely concerning. Loud banging when you rode them! I saw one staff member sweep the floor in the dining area and then sweep the table top with the same broom. Hopefully it was sanitized after! The water in the bathroom reaked of sulfur. The staff was all friendly though, but this place could use quite the upgrade.

Was nice to have bed-though what happened to regular sized pillows? Wish I had remembered a black light for checking to see if the bed was clean. Just was not pleased with the fact that there was hair on the bathroom floor and trash under the sink stands, even the ice box was dirty. Took pictures as soon as I went in the room so I would have proof of how clean the room was and any damages that where done before I checked into the room. Just so I could show whatever was left by the hotel cleaners and the guest before me. The hotel overall looks a little worn down in areas, for the price that is paid per room some of it needs to go back into fixing up the hotel and shampooing the carpets in rooms and mostly the hallways-there are many bright colored stains and outside the 2nd floor elevator someone spilled something left the cup and really didn't do anything, they didn't even put the wet floor sign over it-even though it was right there. Even the shampoo was already open and some of it was used. Even the tissue box looked like it was pulled out and stuffed back in. There was 3 sets of towels and none of them were folded the same way, making me wonder if they were possible uncleaned and refolded. Even though the room was not exactly clean I still left a tip. I hope this helps get the hotel cleaners to up their game.

Service is incredible, both the lady at check-in and gentlemen who worked the later shift were great. They were friendly, attentive and gave us a couple extra pillows without issue. Room was clean, pool looked inviting and over all nice enough place. Most budget hotels lack in customer service but not this one. The location is great, easy to get anywhere in Denver and the light rail is a short walk away. Bad-this is a rough area, it's been cleaned up a lot over the years. It's loud, it's busy, it's Federal and 6th Ave. The building is visually falling apart everywhere you look, I thought this place was newer? Really friendly drug dealer posted up outside too.... We'd stay here again considering. We've stayed here a few other times in the past as well.

Yes it’s a little rundown and the carpets are stained, but the bedding was very comfortable. The style of shower is not good. Reasonable pricing, very nice staff, and good location for my trip.

Skip this place, I planned on staying close to downtown and this was all that was able to accommodate for the days and time we needed. I should have kept looking!!! The service is beyond subpar "housekeeping" didn't take out trash or bring towels 2 times. On statuary I had to go find someone to get towels I said I needed 5 she said no 5 is too much. I said 6 in my family I definitely need 6 but 5 will be fine. One night my almost 1 year old had an accident and when I requested the beds be changed I was told "housekeeping didn't do that" we used the half of the other bed to make due. The carpet was dirty and so wes the tile. It wasn't noticeable until I got out of the shower and tracked grime footprints across a white towel. The overall condition is lacking. But with good service I could have overlooked the dated and generally dilapidated location. I travel for work and leisure with family. It's a different time with covid, economy, etc. However some things are paramount and need to be kept within standards. This place is not within those standards. The only positive aspect is it was cheaper but not by much. The location is OK but not good. I'm not even sure the other reviews aren't fake after my personal experience. This place was rated highly, I took it that it was truth. Overall: skip this place, Pay more or look further.

When booking on the Choice website this was a highly rated hotel. I will never stay at a choice hotel branch again. This hotel was the only "highly rated" hotel for my family size. The hotel chain we used isn't have rooms available for a family of 6. The rooms were not vacuumed, swept or cleaned properly on arrival. I had to purchase clorox spray and sanitizer to spray down the room and bathroom. The carpets in the halls and room were grossly stained. Is doesn't seem like they mop the tile, there was grime on them. I understand the hotel had a request for housekeeping, but they did not honor that request. I requested towels to be brought to my room and the towels never came. I requested to have the linen replaced due to my son having an accident and split a drink. They brought me clean linen and said they don't make the beds and said I need to call downstairs to request that or to make the beds myself. They didn't throw the trash, nor did the replenish the coffee in the room. My fiance went to housekeeper on the hall were at and asked for 5 towels and she said 5 towels was too much, she couldn't give him 5 towels. He told I have a family of 6 I need 6 but I'll take 5. That's when she gave him 5 towels. Some of the staff were not as attentive as they should have been to guests. The rooms were falling apart and needs some work.

A little bit disappointing this time around. Someone recommended it for the night stating day had a fine experience. We stood there a night as we were going to meow wolf that day. The room we were given had holes in the lampshades the curtain was dingy. The wall lights in the bathroom one was a bare bulb the other had its cover. The bed wasn't terribly uncomfortable. The room was acceptable for a place to sleep, but for the price paid for the room, one would want there to be no holes in the lamp shades or dingy curtains. We chose that hotel as it was near meow wolf vicinity. If we decide to do it again I may choose a different hotel.

Do not stay here. Avoid avoid avoid. I have never stayed in a filthier hotel. We booked the largest suite, king bed and 2 queen bed suite. We checked in at 11:30pm and quickly rushed our very young kids to bed (1:30am our time). After getting them in bed and asleep we noticed there was FRESH BLOOD splatter on both sets of curtains in the room! Fresh blood!! There was a huge dried crusty black spot on the carpet on the other side of the room, God only knows what that was. We go into the bathroom to find a used bar of soap on the ground, hair in the shower/tub, and the lid to the back of the toilet mismatched and just sitting on top since it didn’t fit. It was Gross. We let the kids sleep and went to the front desk to complain first thing. They said they had no where else for us to go and there was no manager in until 3pm. We were supposed to be moved to another room that we already paid for. We were given a new room which was cleaner a few hours later. We then spoke to the manager who said there was nothing she could do for us besides give us 5k points since we stayed in it. We had no choice. We were scheduled to stay for 4 more nights. We stayed until Monday. From Saturday to Monday we requested out room be cleaned twice. It didn’t get done. Breakfast was also horrible. We checked out early due to filth, bad service and poor management. They said they’d refund us the last 2 nights. They didn’t. They didn’t even put it in the system to be refunded. So livid. About to report them to the health department, corporate, and anyone else who will listen. Never again. Take my advice and book a Hampton inn.

Was very disappointed. The pictures of this place are very deceiving. This hotel is filthy. Hallways and carpets are dirty, rundown, and smells old and musty. I booked a 2 queen bed w/ sofa bed room. The sofa bed mattress was absolutely disgusting with large stains and chip crumbs, we couldn't even use it. The tub was nasty as if they never clean it. We had to unplug the fridge cause it was so loud! And the location of this place is in a very sketch part of the city. Do not stay here! Not worth the price at all! I feel bad bringing my family here.
