This
place
is
an
absolute
dump.
Starting
with
the
exterior,
which
looks
like
a
Motel
6
that’s
been
through
hard
times.
The
vibe
when
you
walk
in
is
depressing
and
gloomy
in
the
middle
of
a
sunny
afternoon.
The
restaurant/bar
is
straight
out
of
the
mid-90s,
so
is
the
decor.
Not
even
fancy
90s,
maybe
Holiday
Inn
90s.
The
Starbucks
is
closed
even
in
the
middle
of
the
day.
When
you
head
to
your
room,
it’s
like
you
just
went
underground
in
an
old
theater
where
everything
is
dark
and
falling
into
disrepair.
The
paint
is
chipped
and
dirty
on
the
elevator
doors.
The
old-school
fast
food
restaurant
tile
(really,
tile!)
on
the
elevator
floor
is
patched
up
with
cardboard
that’s
taped
down.
You
might
want
to
make
sure
you
have
water
and
a
fully
charged
phone,
because
the
other
elevators
are
out
of
order
and
this
one
doesn’t
look
so
hot
either.
Once
you
finally
wind
through
the
sketchy
hallways
and
make
it
to
your
room,
you
might
breathe
out
a
sigh
of
relief.
The
rooms
at
least
were
partially
redone
at
some
point
in
the
last
decade.
They
seem
clean
enough,
though
certainly
not
sparkling.
The
lighting
is
really
poor,
so
you
open
the
curtains
to
look
at
the
power
station
directly
next
door.
Don’t
worry
though,
there
are
construction
vehicles
completely
with
staring
workers
and
beeping
noises
too!
I
ended
up
just
cutting
my
stay
down
to
the
one
night
since
it
was
already
late.
When
you
go
down
to
pick
up
your
food
delivery,
the
lobby
has
a
few
questionable
looking
people
hanging
out.
The
front
desk
is
busy
but
very
nice.
Once
you
finally
make
it
back
up
to
your
room,
your
door
won’t
unlock.
It
beeps
and
recognizes
the
card,
so
you’re
pretty
sure
it’s
the
right
room.
You
call
the
front
desk
and
hang
out
in
the
deserted
sketchy
dim
hallway
hoping
no
one
comes
along
that
doesn’t
have
the
best
of
intentions
while
your
food
rapidly
cools.
The
security
guard
is
nice,
and
helps
you
get
into
the
room
by
showing
you
a
really
complicated
method
of
working
with
the
broken
lock-
it
happens
all
the
time.
It
remains
to
be
seen
if
you
are
able
to
exit
your
room
in
case
you
know,
the
place
is
on
fire.
Just
close
it
down.
Use
it
to
film
a
horror
movie.
Sell
it
to
Super
8.
Whatever
you
do,
don’t
stay
here.
