I
chose
the
Oxford
hotel
because
it
seemed
very
cool
to
be
able
to
stay
at
such
a
historic
location.
I
expected
all
the
perks
of
a
4
star
hotel
(high
quality
and
luxury
comfort).
However,
after
visiting
this
hotel
for
a
2
night
stay,
I
will
never
go
back
to
stay
at
the
Oxford.
I
am
very
disappointed.
#1.
Don’t
stay
here
on
the
weekends.
I
stayed
at
the
Oxford
from
Friday
-
Sunday.
It
seemed
like
the
hotel
and
staff
were
extremely
busy
during
the
entire
weekend
due
to
hosting
a
large
wedding
party.
The
wedding
party
was
extremely
loud
and
rowdy.
Because
the
hotel
is
so
old,
the
walls
are
very
thin.
You
can
hear
all
the
conversations,
footsteps,
and
even
dog
barks
from
inside
your
hotel
room.
I
was
assigned
a
room
on
the
2nd
floor,
which
is
also
the
same
floor
as
the
hotel
large
convention
room
that
the
wedding
group
used.
You
would
think
that
the
Oxford
staff
would
have
given
me
a
heads
up
or
had
done
something
to
give
me
a
room
that
was
NOT
on
the
same
floor
as
a
large
wedding
party.
When
I
complained
about
the
noise
to
the
front
desk,
I
was
told
that
I
can
be
provided
ear
buds
or
a
loud
fan
to
drown
the
noise
out.
I
expect
more
from
a
luxury
hotel.
#2.
Minor
quip/heads
up:
There’s
no
Smart
TV!
While
having
a
Smart
TV
is
not
a
must
have,
in
2023
it
feels
odd
that
a
4
star
hotel
hasn’t
done
any
work
to
upgrade
their
in-room
amenities.
I
also
noticed
some
moldiness
in
the
bathroom…
The
Oxford
is
central
to
a
lot
of
cool
restaurants,
bars,
and
event
spaces.
However,
there
are
plenty
of
other
hotels
that
are
near
the
Oxford
with
similar/better
options.
If
you’re
curious
about
the
historical
aspect
of
the
hotel,
I
would
recommend
staying
somewhere
else
and
then
walking
over
to
the
Oxford
to
check
out
their
lobby
or
the
hotel’s
bar
‘Cruise
Room’.
