This is one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at! The history and the elegance are wonderful. The front desk staff are professional, kind and responsive. The room was surprisingly quiet given the noise in the atrium below. Why then only a 3 star review?: we were scheduled for 12 noon check-out. On check-out day, the first knock at the door by housekeeping was 9:36 am. After being awoken, I rushed to the door and informed the staff of a 12 noon check-out. At 11:00 am, a housekeeping staff knocked and then entered our room before we could even respond to the knock! At 12 noon, we again experience a knock at the door as we left. For this fine of a hotel, I expect better.

We loved our stay at the Crawford! Being located inside of Union Station was amazing. We flew in and took the train directly to Union. The Crawford is literally within steps of the train. We were right in the middle of some of the hustle and bustle of downtown Denver, yet it was so quiet in the room. Absolutely blown away by that aspect! Front desk staff is amazing and so kind. We took full advantage of the added perks—coffee, ice cream, beer, free transportation within a couple of miles. Highly recommend doing that. The room (Pullman) was really unique, yet cozy and clean. The bed was so comfortable. Don’t forget to check out Snooze, which is right downstairs. Excellent breakfast! When we return to Denver, we will surely be staying at the Crawford again!

My 3 night stay at this hotel was very disappointing. I arrived at the hotel at 3:45pm and they said my room was not ready. They took my luggage to hold for me while I went to get some food and wait for the room to be ready. They said that they would call. I did not hear from anyone by 5:15pm so I went back to the front desk. They said my room was now ready and went to get my luggage. They came back and told me my luggage was already in the room. I went to the room and my luggage was not there. Tried calling the front desk, no answer. I went back down and it took them at least 30 minutes to find my luggage. There were others in the same situation. The bed and pillows were not comfortable. There was no mattress pad on the mattress or fitted sheet so the bare mattress was easily exposed since they used a flat sheet. There was no duvet cover just a flat sheet that did not completely cover it. I ordered room service and waited over a hour only to call down to find out the order was not made. 20 minutes after the call they brought it up.

The convenience of the hotel being apart of a literal train/bus station is so helpful. We were from out of town and rode the train from the airport to the station. (End of the A-Line) We came a little early, but the hotel offered to hold our bags while we grabbed food and even more convenient enough, there was a breakfast place, a coffee place, and an ice cream place all inside as well. They called us to let us know our room was ready. The safety is nice too, the station has security (considering it is a public train station) but fear not, you need a room key to use the elevator up to your room. When we got to our hotel room, it was clean and cozy. Being able to order room service using a QR code was so nice. We noticed the hot water wasn’t working in our room and called down, they had it fixed and steaming (the way I like it) within the hour. The waterfall shower head is fantastic and I could stand in it for hours. I also loved how soft and fluffy the bed and pillows were. The TV being able to swivel was really nice, we were able to sit at the desk and eat our room service. The hotel is within walking distance of the ball arena and a lot of good food places like The Original, Thirsty Lion, and Citizens Rail. We also found it super convenient that the bus station was right outside underground to take a Bustang to Vail, or the other ski towns. We thought it would be more noisy with it being a train station, and there being the Cooper Lounge right outside our room, but we honestly didn’t hear a thing. The amenities are also fantastic, free scoop of ice cream daily w/room key and a free drip coffee w/room key. & might I say, they are hefty scoops! (Perfect because me and my boyfriend share a love for both ice cream and coffee) overall, great experience, and I’d say the hotel was worth 5 stars!

I have to say what an amazing hotel to stay at. Stayed there for 3 days. Had the best stay in a long time. Went there for a business convention. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone in Denver, CO. It is right in Union Station. The staff is so friendly. Travel photographer from Galena, IL.

I was somewhat disappointed with a few things during our stay. First - The room. for $500.00 a night, this should be a beautiful room. Stains on the couch, stains on the curtains, the windows were so spotted that it was hard to take pictures out of - I know we were on the 4th floor, and we were expecting snow, but I've stayed in NY City high rises with cleaner windows. It was the little things that were disappointing - room service breakfast taking almost an hour past delivery time. I get it, you get busy, but I called and was told they would check and call me back...15 minutes later I called back, and they said It will be up soon - no apology for not calling me back or anything - they did remove that charge, still made us change our plans being it was an hour late. Then we had the courtesy vehicle scheduled, and when I called to move the time up a little, I was told there was no driver tonight he was out and we will check on your options for you and get back to you - never heard from anyone - and no ride. Had to uber to our dinner. Little things like this are unacceptable when I spend $500.00 a night on a room in a town I live in - We were on our anniversary staycation and thought your hotel would be a nice change - nope. Asked for a couple of bottles of water to be sent up - still waiting... It was a great location, and I'm sure others will have a great time - but we won't be back anytime soon.

Probably my favorite hotel I have ever stayed at. The location is amazing, the added amenities (partnerships with shops in Union Station + fitness center across the street+Tesla car service) are great, and the look and feel of the rooms is phenomenal. I just loved it. You're in the heart of the action but it is still quiet and you have plenty of space.

I always thought union station was a public works. According to the Crawford hotel it is not. Please do the people of Colorado a favor and do not stay here. Their cocktail bar is awesome. A true work of art. But I cannot in good faith support them anymore.

Great place to stay! We loved this hotel, the ease of access to A Train, great coffee spot and good restaurants. I do wish they had a small market or place to grab drinks or snacks for the room as I was traveling with a 7 year old. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Crawford Hotel three nights. First night in a classic suit and the remaining nights in a loft suite, more affordable but with dark stairs leading to and from the entryway. Unfortunately my husband stumbled in the middle of the night, trying to find the bathroom and was injured. I immediately tried to summon help because I couldn’t get him up off the floor. Both phones in our room failed to work. Impossible to reach the front desk. I had to run in my bare feet and pajamas down four floors, through Union Station to locate help. My husband was embarrassed and refused help at that time. We checked out the next morning without a word of concern or care from the Crawford. We sought medical treatment later that day and continued our journey home. What a nightmare. We will never stay at the hotel again. Not safe and concern is nowhere to be found.

I have stayed here twice and enjoyed both. The Loft room on 4th floor was a little dark - one window in the foyer. I liked the Pullman room a little more. Union Station location is great. I will stay here again, and I think you should check out this unique hotel.

Extraordinary Experience - highly recommend!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay once again and the Crawford has become our home away from home whenever we travel to Denver. Love the location and property with its numerous amenities such onsite coffee shop, bakery, deli, restaurant, several stores, etc. Rooms are also very nice; comfortable beds; updated baths.

This hotel is absolutely a wonderland. A beautiful layout, great location, wonderful restaurants and bars on site - truly everything you could ask for. And the best service I’ve ever experienced at any hotel.

Lucky us! We had reservations at the Limelight, in same area, and somehow they overbooked and sent us to the Crawford. We loved it. beautiful room, wonderful amenities (free coffee, ice cream cone, drinks daily; complimentary Lyft rides in a 2 mile radius; etc.). What was really outstanding was the front desk help from Gracie and Katie. Excellent recommendations, helpful, pleasant, and accommodating. terrific location and hotel, but Gracie and Katie made the experience even better.

Unique concept generally well executed. But rooms need soundproofing when directly opening into an atrium with a bar. They’re happy to charge you a mandatory amenity fee for things you may not want but housekeeping is somehow no longer included.

I loved my entire experience at the Crawford hotel. I came for a conference at the Colorado convention center and am so happy that I stayed here instead of one of the large mainstream hotels. The Crawford hotel has character and charm. It is located in the Union station which has amazing restaurants, ice cream shop, coffee shops, great places to get breakfast, a couple bars to get drinks and relax.. really everything you need. Staying at the Crawford you get access to a gym, free ice cream, free beer, discounts at many of the establishments inside the station. Plus it’s conveniently located. You can get a train right out the back door to the airport and it was a short scooter ride to the convention center. The room I stayed in was extremely comfortable. Had all the amenities I needed. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Denver in the future. Thank you, Jen for taking great care of me!! I really appreciate you and the rest of the service care team!!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and pleasant, and the bed was very comfortable. Great staff and we enjoyed all the little perks that come with the room (free beer at the downstairs bar, free coffee from the coffee shop, free ice cream). Perfect location downtown with access to transit and restaurants.

We arrived late morning after an early flight to see about early check in or checking our bags. The person working quickly checked the room status, and offered to check/hold our bags before we could ask 👍🏻. As promised, we got a call, early afternoon (before check in time) that our room was ready. Check in was a quick, smooth process. Both individuals were happy, professional and checked all of the question boxes before we even thought to ask anything. It was great. Additionally, we rode the RTD rail from the airport to the Union Station, which drops off right at the door of the hotel (and provides a LOT of local and regional access). The cost was super affordable, and downloading the app made ticketing simple. There is lots to do within walking distance, as well. Coors Field is only 2 blocks away! We will definitely stay here again when traveling to Denver.

Great location. Tremendous attentive staff. The only negative was the difficult check in due to the very active location. High Parking fees & the new standard bogus fees were a turn off but I guess that's just the way it is now Can't say enough about how nice the staff was. They were truly a pleasure to be around. They even heard that it was our anniversary & bought us a drink. Way over the top nice. They also had a really good complimentary shuttle that allowed us to just leave our car in the lot. Very useful.

The Crawford Hotel is an absolute gem! We wanted an upscale hotel that was distinctly Denver, and the Crawford delivered. Our room was well-appointed and spotless. It was also very quiet, which surprised me because the hotel is in a busy train station. The rooms somehow felt removed from the hustle and bustle of the Union Station lobby. The front desk staff is super helpful (thanks, Abby & Gracie!) and the perk amenities are legit. From check-in to check-out, we were very impressed. We will be back!

The hotel was in good condition, clean, and in close proximity to many of the best bars and restaurants that Denver has to offer. This hotel is one of the best choices for travelers looking to explore Denver. The reason for the three stars is based off of two key details. The hot water in the hotel did not work which was strange to me even in an older (but restored) hotel. Most importantly, there is no parking at the hotel. They offer valet services that charge $47 PER DAY and the hotel concierge told me that was the best offer they had. I get that parking is not typically free in larger cities but the Crawford hotel should disclose that parking costs almost 20% of a typical night's stay. Please beware that you will have to pay $47 per day to park or find alternate parking off site.

The Crawford Hotel is located in the beating heart of Denver, it's a wild and restless place in it's nature, and everyone comes here because it's the place to be. I needed their concierge luggage service tonight, and Jen was not only kind, she was extremely accommodating. Cheers to her! I deeply appreciate how much she helped me in the din of Union Station, she made me feel like I was the only person in a room of hundreds. Excellent customer service. Excellent hospitality. Thank you Jen.

Great location and discounts. Our room was nice however the air conditioning was very weak and felt stuffy in the room regardless of the temp we selected. Windows do not open. Pillows were like loosely filled bags of fill. They used a regular sheet in place of a fitted sheet, not a huge deal but for the price of the room I'd expect better. All of the above made it difficult to get any decent sleep. Would not stay again.

The Lady working at night was very nice, however, the details of storing luggage here are deceiving. They tell you it is 24/7, but if you arrive before 6:30 am, you are SOL. They will then claim "there was 1 door open" when there absolutely was not. Needless to say, it was an extremely cold night and I would not recommend using any of their services if you have any self-respect. Very Rude morning staff that do not care about customer service. Would give less than 1 star if possible.
