Check in was smooth, wasn't overly happy about the $40 a day for valet parking and was told my other option would be to find public parking which wouldn't do me any good since I was staying at the hotel. Check in was smooth and overall the room was nice and very clean. Breakfast was good. At $300 a night though (not worth it) I would expect that the property would have done something about the kids running up and down the halls at 11 at night, and when I mentioned it at check the only thing I got was "yeah there's a lot of kids here." Price was definitely not worth the stay.

Stayed here for a week while exploring the city and had a blast. It was fantastic to wake up and always have breakfast available. The valet was expensive but made it really easy to get on the road with unlimited in and out of the garage. The location is perfect for exploring downtown.

If you are attending an event at the Ball Arena this hotel is the best spot if you plan to stay the night in Denver. Room was cleaned, checked the beds and all clean sheets and no signs of dirt or unwanted bugs. Our car was also safely stored in the hotel, sure an extra 45$ but safer at the hotel than in a public location. Overall a great place and were glad we stayed here as we walked right over to the Ball Arena to watch the Denver Nuggets!

$35 for parking, with valet, was way better than how ever much parking would be at the Ball Arena and then having to fight traffic after the concert. The hotel was very nice. Comfortable bed at and very nice room. Walking distance to multiple venues. Very convenient with great staff.

The location was fine, but these rooms are so overpriced compared to the amenities. My room had a broken toilet, clogged sink, dirty tub, and housekeeping only touched the beds without anything else. I’m very disappointed with the service. They also only have valet parking. However they don’t do valet when you need to leave in the morning. You’re better off staying at a days inn for a third of the price.

The SpringHill Suites Denver Downtown was a wonderful place to stay for a weekend in the city. It is ideally located near the universities and just a short walk (7 min!) from Downtown and some great restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and well-attended each morning, with menu items changing daily. We also enjoyed how clean, quiet, and comfortable our stay was. Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at SpringHill Suites by Marriott in downtown Denver, and it was a great experience. The location is excellent, situated right in the heart of downtown, making it easy to access popular attractions and dining options. The hotel itself is well-maintained and modern, with a clean and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for local restaurants and ensuring a smooth check-in process. The room was spacious, well-designed, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was particularly comfortable, providing a good night's sleep after long days of work and exploration. Valet is quick to bring your car around. One highlight was the complimentary breakfast, offering a variety of options to suit different tastes. Compared to other hotels I've stayed at they have the best tasting breakfast. Cage free eggs, turkey, sausage, and waffles were my fav! Overall, SpringHill Suites by Marriott Denver Downtown is a reliable choice for business travelers or anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a prime location. I would recommend it to fellow professionals and would certainly consider staying here again on future visits to Denver.

The day staff is not so friendly, but the night staff is fantastic, especially Matt in the evening; you were absolute, star-making me feel welcome and a valued guest. The breakfast is the same every day, and being there for six days, you get sick of the same food. Room cleaning is upon request, which should be conveyed upon checking in. I am still waiting for my holding deposit to be released for a refund. The rooms are spacious, and everything you need is there.

Very walkable hotel close to everything. I even walked my kids to a nearby playground. There’s a pretty decent ( college student run) restaurant on site on the other side of the entrance driveway too.

Stayed here for a concert at ball arena. I typically sleep terribly in hotels but I slept like a baby here. Front desk staff was very nice the night we stayed 8/31/22. I know some reviews complain about the valet parking fees but it was same as other hotels downtown and honestly if you’re going to an event nearby you’re going to pay for parking regardless I’d rather it be easy and safe with the hotel. I’d definitely stay here again next time im in town for a show.

This hotel was in the perfect location, walking distance to downtown and about a block away from Ball Arena. I rented a vehicle and barely drove it because everything was so close to the hotel. There's also a bar & grill next door called the Metropolitan that has pretty good food. They'll even deliver to your room from the bar. The valet service was first class as well.

Room was very nice and really clean. Great location. We walked to breakfast at the delectable egg which was one of the best meals we ate on our entire trip. Be sure to order their bloody Mary, so good!!

The location is great, and the room was nice and clean. However, they are super shady about the parking. Their website makes the parking seem reasonable and affordable as its onsite. It's only valet parking for 50$ a night.... or you have to find public parking somewhere else for 25$+. - shower door doesn't stay closed - lights next to bed didn't work - no trash bags anywhere (no place for disposal of feminine products)

This place is AMAZING!!! The room was immaculate. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the downtown area. They have event space that will accommodate any party or meeting you have. The restaurant and breakfast was delicious. Can't wait for our next stay.

This hotel was quite an amazing experience. Just right outside of Downtown Denver which is nice, and in a nice area by the College so there's little to no homeless. Staff was super friendly there. You do have to pay an additional $50 per day for incidentals which they do not tell you about anywhere on their website or anything so please be aware of that in advance.

I stayed at this hotel while attending an event at Ball Arena. The location is perfect for Ball Arena events, and it’s within walking distance of some bars if you want a bite to eat or a drink. The complimentary breakfast buffet is a plus as well. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, my only complaint is that the water pressure in the shower isn’t that great.

This facility provides spacious rooms close to a lot of Downtown Denver's hottest neighborhood, restaurants and venues. Other than its location, I found this hotel quite overwhelming. The mandatory valet parking (which has been subcontracted to an external company) was laughable - long wait times, and entirely unnecessary for a SpringHill Suites (let's not pretend this is anything more than a 3-star hotel). Additionally, two outlets in my room didn't work and my shower drain was missing a cap. I think this is a good hotel for business travelers who are charging everything to a client/company - again, because of the convenience of the location. But beyond that, it doesn't really seem well suited to personal travelers, who might get pulled in to the hotels advertised low rates, only to be disappointed by the overpriced parking and the average rooms. (i.e. there are better hotels at the same price in Denver... I'd only visit this location again as a last resort.)

I won’t recommend for people traveling with car because the parking is valet only and $45 for overnight parking. Walkable distance to the downtown and convention center. Free breakfast - just the food. Coffee tastes watery. The room and entire facility is just average as well as the hotel staff. This SpringHill treats everyone in the same way whatever you are ambassador status or just a guest. Valet from night shift is nice.

Not a bad hotel, just not worth $500/night. Pros: Rooms were adequate and clean.. Staff was friendly. 2 minute walk to Ball Arena. Free breakfast in lobby. Cons: High room price, $45 parking, no on-site restaurant or bar. No safe in room.

The hotel is in a convenient downtown location near three universities and there are several restaurants within easy walking distance. The affiliated restaurant Degree is in the next building and we through it was good. The breakfast buffet is held in the lobby of the hotel and has a nice selection of tasty offerings. Our room is large and nicely decorated. There was a desk and phone in a separate work area within the room which was very convenient for us. The walk-in shower was especially nice with temperature consistency and strong water pressure. The lobby is spacious and attractive with plenty of places to lounge and also a computer to use. There is also a small fitness center. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

Check in was really quick and easy. We booked this particular location due to its close proximity to Ball Arena and restaurants. The room itself was really spacious, clean, and up-to-date. They gave us a corner room on the 6th floor so the view outside was pretty decent. We could also see the American Express Roadshow for the NBA's opening day from our floor. We walked to the hotel from Union Station as we didn't need a car yet and didn't want to pay for parking. It wasn't a terrible trek with our bags. The complimentary breakfast is by the front desk. They have the usual fare that Marriott hotels offer. You have both hot and cold options and every topping you can think of. There's also dairy alternatives like soy milk for your cereal or coffee. We requested a late check-out with no issue. I just wanted to sleep in longer. All in all, this was a good stay. The location is central to a lot of key places, it's very walkable, the staff is extremely accommodating, and the hotel is perfectly clean.

Stayed one night, my friend had rewards and got the stay free so that was nice. Walking distance from downtown by the train station and also walking distance to meow wolf. Both directions about 15 min. Room was nice and clean. Big with a desk and a couch and 2 beds. I like how it had a bed light. I didn’t like how the fire alarm blinked, it was very bright and at night I saw it blinking even when my eyes where closed. Comp breakfast from 6-9:30 and a gym. Also free Wi-Fi. Gym has everything you need and was very pleasant. Lots for breakfast like oatmeal, granola, cereal, waffles, eggs, muffins, burritos and yogurt.

The room was clean, but the layout was...well, interesting. Plenty of counter space, yet the microwave, coffee maker and fridge are hidden in a cupboard. The water was only lukewarm, so no hot shower in the morning. Our room was very warm even with the thermostat set at 59. It was a pricey choice at almost $300 per night

Best location, for going to an event at the Ball arena. Went to Aves game, and had like a three minute walk back. Room was clean. Pretty sure one of my good clubs was stolen from valet. No way to prove it though. Other than that, good experience

Very clean rooms and overall hotel location was great for walking around to nearby attractions. Breakfast is hearty. Only downside is the $40/day charge for valet parking, but you do have in and out privileges.

The staff was so amazing getting. We got a beautiful corner room with views of the mountains. The hotel is so nice. Some of the best elevators ive ever been in! Valet was super sweet upon arrival and the lobby was harry pitter themed!

We have stayed here twice, once for my child's college tour and once for move-in day. The location is incredible. The hotel is on the Auraria Campus, which houses CU Denver, Metropolitan State, and Community College of Denver. It's just two blocks from shops and restaurants on Market and Larimer, and a very easy walk to Union Station. Rates and parking are pricey, but it is well worth it.

Had expensive clothes stolen - either from the room or laundry room (which doesn’t have video surveillance). Room cleaning didn’t happen till last day, even though I requested it every other day They did bring up a set of fresh towels when I asked Extremely upset about my stolen shirt-dress. I distinctly remember holding it in my hands at the hotel, looking at a stain it I wanted to wash out. Yet it wasn’t in my suitcase when I arrived home. No laundry service except the coin operated machine in a room without surveillance. So either you stand there for 2 hours to make sure nothing is stolen, or deal with dirty clothes. Of note, hotel staff definitely cleaned the laundry room while my things were there. Found my bag of dirty white clothes rearranged (darks were washing). Pretty certain that’s how my white shirt dress went missing. Would never stay again. Hotel management needs to put video surveillance into the laundry room.

We were not verbally informed that we wouldn't get serviced as far as cleaning in our room for 5 days and 4 nights. We did request for cleaning on Friday and after being out all day, which the hotel/front desk agreed to, it didn't happen. Ryan stated on Saturday we would get a cleaning and it didn't happen. I wrote to JT the manager a couple of times and he seemed as if he wanted to make things right but, again a missed opportunity of making sure we received 1 day of cleaning. We finally caught him to speak with him over the phone tonight and he failed again and hung up in our face when we actually spoke with him this evening. We paid nearly $1100 for our stay and this was the customer service we received. I would never recommend this location. The staff was nice but JT Cockerill, the manager, just made matters worse. He provided an 800 number to call about their policies if we weren't happy and when I asked if the number were to a dark hole of just pressing buttons and if were to a real person to speak with, he didn't provide an answer and told us he had other customers and hung up the phone. Well the number he provided twice was incorrect. Also to note, we asked repeatedly for complete set of towels to bathe, trash bags, sheets and just for our room to get cleaned once, and it never happened. I don't think that was a major ask. This all could have been rectified by follow-up and at minimum 1 cleaning out of 5 days and not having to beg for linens and trash bags and bed sheets.

Clean large room. Very quiet in general. Good breakfast. Must valet to keep your vehicle on site.. so add $40 to your nightly stay. Very close to hockey and football venue.

The supervisor Cortland is a stand out! I called the front desk, spoke to Cortland about a few concerns. He paid close attention to my concerns, addressed each of them, and then some. He reassigned my room, offered to help with my luggage, brought up a bell cart himself, along with my new keys. Extremely thoughtful and accommodating. I visit hotels regularly and find myself often disappointed with service. Hospitality is just not what it used to be, but Cortland went above and beyond. He’s a supervisor now, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s managing the hotel next time I see him. Thanks a million.
