We
reserved
a
room
a
few
months
ago.
Between
then
and
our
stay
last
weekend,
my
wife
was
in
a
car
accident
and
is
temporarily
wheel-chair
bound.
I
called
a
few
weeks
ago
to
request
an
ADA
room
so
she
could
shower
and
get
around
with
the
wheel
chair.
We
got
there
to
check
in
and
they
said
our
room
was
on
the
second
floor.
I
said
that's
fine,
where's
the
elevator.
They
said
there
are
no
elevators.
I
asked
how
a
person
in
a
wheelchair
is
supposed
to
get
to
the
second
floor.
After
a
few
moments
we
were
told
there
was
an
ADA
room
on
the
first
floor
but
we'd
have
to
wait
for
it
to
be
cleaned.
After
wandering
around
the
block
for
a
while,
we
came
back.
We
got
the
key,
luckily
it
was
close
to
the
office.
However,
it
WAS
NOT
wheelchair
accessible.
There
were
lips
of
3/8"
to
3/4"
to
get
into
the
room
and
the
bathroom.
And
there
was
no
roll-in
shower.
Basically,
these
are
old
apartments
that
they're
using
as
a
hotel
room.
This
place
was
dirty
too.
There
was
brown
stuff
leaking
down
the
bathroom
sink,
the
freezer
was
dirty,
there
were
brown
marks
on
the
inside
of
the
freezer
door
and
the
tub
was
gross.
If
we
didn't
NEED
an
ADA
room,
it
probably
would
have
been
ok.
The
people
working
the
front
desk
were
very
nice
and
tried
to
help
as
well
as
they
could.
I
will
be
filing
a
complaint
with
the
Colorado
ADA
Commission.
