General Manager was super rude to me for no good reason. I don’t know if he was just having a bad day, but it was very unprofessional. Plenty of other affordable hotels in the area; I recommend avoiding this one if possible.

Great place to stay, me and my children had a great time at this hotel . Very clean as well . And of course a great location if your going to the aquarium, elitch gardens , a baseball game or you have business down town. Breakfast consisted of waffles, toast, muffins, eggs, sausage biscuit style sandwiches, fruit, coffee, tea, lemon water, apple juice and orange juice. I will be staying here again on my next visit.

The room was immaculate. The balcony with the city view was awesome. Free breakfast was good with more variety than the norm. A couple negatives.. pool closed. Looks like it never opens? Our tub took hours to drain. Overall, very nice.

Beautiful room. We were in 432, it was on the corner of the building, but the walls were paper thin. You could hear everything they did above us. The balcony has an entire view of downtown, so we were able to watch the fireworks. But there were no extra outlets. We had to nearly unplug everything just to plug in chargers and such. The breakfast was good and the late checkout at 12pm was nice. But there was one elevator broken while we were there so you had to wait up to 10 minutes to get on it. Also, PARKING, is NOT FREE, it's $30 overnight and they only have 30 spots for 80+ rooms so if you're planning to stay overnight I suggest booking parking with it ahead of time. It was a bummer we had to park 5 blocks away and only for a few hours then had to move the car.

Updating review to 3 stars down from 5. Front desk very unwelcoming on check in. Room was ok, little bit stained floor, pool was closed which was a big bummer for the kids. Nice location and decent free breakfast. Some nice games for family, as well, in the lobby area.

This is everything you could want traveling with children; a heated pool, hotel bar, gym and board games displayed in a way that invites you to hang out a little longer. The staff was really accommodating and we didn’t want for anything longer than 15 mins. The breakfast is good. And I mean that! Saved us $60 every morning we had access to it.

This hotel surely deserved more than 2 stars! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating making for a comfortable and “homey” stay. Perfect distance for walking to Denver stadium or downtown.

This hotel was a great experience, I am a Colorado resident but checking into this hotel definitely gave me an outta town vacay feel. With the view being amazing with you looking over the downtown skyline and Elitch Gardens beautiful lit up Ferris Wheel at night. I had a delicious waffle for breakfast provided by the hotel and enjoyed a nice swim before check out.

Nice rooms if you can deal constant pounding from the rooms above you. I had two different rooms and it is crazy how loud the rooms above me were. Kids running back and forth for hours. I reported this to the hotel staff but nothing was done. My only suggestion is try to get a room on the top floor. It would be wise for the hotel staff to put guest with kids on the bottom floor to avoid so much noise.

I had a reservation that I checked in for on the Marriott app. Upon arriving I was told there were no rooms available. The hotel was over booked. I waited for an hour for them to get the manager on the phone with no resolution. At the same time another guest was complaining their room smelled like sewage, and more guests arrived to the same news of no rooms. Two hours later at this point it is 11pm, the manager arrives and all of a sudden there is rooms available in the system, and they still overbooked by two rooms, so some guests had to be changed to another hotel. It was extremely frustrating thinking they overbooked me and waiting for so long. I was not offered even an apology.

We had a wonderful stay. We had a death in our family and had to have people fly in quickly for a funeral and the staff was so nice to us. Dejuan, the manager and he came out and spoke to us and gave us his condolences. He spoke very kind words. I will stay here again.

This hotel is beautiful and clean. Kaycee made our stay excellent! He is the most AMAZING Marriott employee I've ever encountered!!! You are lucky to have him as an employee and your guests are lucky to be graced by his beautiful presence! Kudos to the house keeping staff and Kaycee specifically at the front desk! I will most definitely be back.

I didn't get to stay, but they retained my deposit when I had to cancel, even though I canceled well in advance of check-in. The reason I had to cancel was due to illness, yet they had zero compassion for this. Due to the "rate type" you need to cancel within 24 hours of BOOKING (not check-in). After being a loyal Marriott customer (and employee) for years, I am really disappointed in the front desk manager and the overall property management for not hearing me out or helping me out at all. I want my $179 back or I will not be staying with Marriott again in the future.

The hotel was very clean and well lit. I loved the view of the city and the hotel is close enough to the city that a brief walk or a quick Uber will get you anywhere downtown. It's nestled up in Lohi, a nice quiet part of Denver. The staff was excellent!

Stayed two nights in April for event at Ball Arena. Walked to the game and back with no problem. Chose to park on street for free and had no problems. The lobby, room, pool area were lovely. Breakfast was excellent with a great oatmeal bar, as well as hot egg and meat options (different each day). This is great hotel choice.

If I could give this place a zero I would. I had a reservation, my flight cancelled, I called them the night before & let them know I was taking a red eye, (which is not a no show), I got there the next morning to check in. They informed me that they sold my room even though I called them the night before and asked them to please not cancel my reservation. The manager DeJuan Chapa, (maybe 22? 23?), zero customer service skills, zero problem solving skills, said too bad, so sad, we are all sold out and he accused me of lying and not calling the night before (I have the call log). I was flabbergasted when he said that!!! He was antagonizing, unfriendly and RUDE It was awful, I had a conference call & no where to go. All the hotels in the area were booked. These people are awful, Marriott in general is a horrible hotel chain and I’ve had many issues with them. I did file a case with their corporate and hoping to get my money back. Marriott, you hire the worst people to be your representative!!

Checked in tonight, and parked on the road, was nice to see the security guard working Wednesday night checking the street cars where I parked. I wasn't trying to pay for inside parking and that made me feel better about leaving my car out there. Also the door man Matthew was very helpful great service and my room had the Best view and I slept like a baby 10/10 recommend. 👌

Very comfortable and good location. Strange layout with the garage on the ground floor - it took a little hunting to figure out where to go to check in. Room was very nice as a “suite” but was expecting a way to shut a door between bedroom and living room, it’s just an archway. So if someone wants to sleep and the other to read, not great.

I was part of a bridal party for a wedding and was a bit disappointed by the service. First, there were several mix ups with the rooms when we had reserved these months in advance. The communication between the staff members was not the greatest and the manager was not available to speak to. The WiFi connection also did not work throughout our stay. I tried calling the hotel multiple times to request room service but no one ever answered. On positive notes, the breakfast buffet is delicious and there are many options. Rooms are spacious, clean and modern. You also have great views of downtown and the foothills.

Stayed here for 5 nights in June and have absolutely no complaint. Service and housekeeping was perfect. Even the continental breakfast was good. Will definitely try to stay here again on my next Denver visit.

Would have given 5 stars but breakfast took it down a notch. Location is great, and there's free street parking if you find it. Rooms are clean spacious and modern. Service is good Breakfast was a disappointment, not a lot of variety, no fruits at all, no yogurts, only one type of frozen bagel, and all the time they are vacuuming the floor next to you. Can you wait with that until breakfast is done?

I flew into to Denver for a day to attend my best friend’s baby shower. Requested an early check in when I booked the hotel. I got one confirmation email at that time and that was it. When I arrived in Denver I logged in to my bonvoy account, again requested early check in for noon and a key. It said I would receive a message when the room was ready. After a couple hours of no communication I called the front desk to find they did have a room ready. That was at 2:30 the shower started at 3. I only had enough time to change and I was still late. I knew early check in wasn’t guaranteed but I would’ve loved to have some sort of communication from the hotel. They need more signs at the front door on how to get into the hotel. There’s a sign saying the door is locked to protect the customers but nothing saying use the intercom button to call the front desk. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. The woman who checked me in at the front desk was lovely. All in all it’s a good hotel, they just need to have better communication with customers.

This is typical Denver 3 star hotel. Nice city views for some rooms. Staff constantly turns over, there is an active homeless colony (very sophisticated and aggressive), tons of drunks and meth smokers around the property. Very suss...

My wife had booked two hotel rooms at the Marriott and asked if she could cancel the two rooms and stay at a different Marriott hotel a little closer to our final destination. The receptionist told her there would be no problem since they had accidently booked one of her rooms to someone else anyway. There were eight of us so we really wanted to have two rooms. Despite being told there was no problem cancelling the day of arrival, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Denver Downtown still charged us for the one room. The manager would not even speak with my wife when the charge was not cancelled the next day and Marriott has fought the credit card dispute too. Anyway, a bad experience/hassle overall since we could have stayed there had we not been given bad information by the hotel receptionist.

We chose this hotel because they offered a New Years Eve party with a rooftop party to watch the fireworks. The woman that checked us in was not happy to be working and took it out on us. The party on the roof was terrible. They had put out four heaters but they didn’t help with the sub 30’s weather. The staff stayed at the bar in the lobby because of the cold. It was like we were at their party, they were dressed up and partying and ignored the guests. When midnight came everyone gathered on the roof and the staff gathered and celebrated the great year they had by spraying the champagne off the roof and filming the whole debacle so they could show what a great party it was, on social media. Then they packed up the food and leftover champagne and split it all up between themselves and their kids, leaving scraps for the guests who paid for the party and food. It was a good thing we brought champagne because we never got our complimentary glass. The party cost us a lot of money and when asked if we had a good time we told them we were disappointed with the evening and were told they were a small hotel with not a lot of resources and they had done the best they could to entertain us. One of the worst New Years we have ever had. Terrible service with no regard for the customer’s needs.
