We
chose
this
hotel
because
they
offered
a
New
Years
Eve
party
with
a
rooftop
party
to
watch
the
fireworks.
The
woman
that
checked
us
in
was
not
happy
to
be
working
and
took
it
out
on
us.
The
party
on
the
roof
was
terrible.
They
had
put
out
four
heaters
but
they
didn’t
help
with
the
sub
30’s
weather.
The
staff
stayed
at
the
bar
in
the
lobby
because
of
the
cold.
It
was
like
we
were
at
their
party,
they
were
dressed
up
and
partying
and
ignored
the
guests.
When
midnight
came
everyone
gathered
on
the
roof
and
the
staff
gathered
and
celebrated
the
great
year
they
had
by
spraying
the
champagne
off
the
roof
and
filming
the
whole
debacle
so
they
could
show
what
a
great
party
it
was,
on
social
media.
Then
they
packed
up
the
food
and
leftover
champagne
and
split
it
all
up
between
themselves
and
their
kids,
leaving
scraps
for
the
guests
who
paid
for
the
party
and
food.
It
was
a
good
thing
we
brought
champagne
because
we
never
got
our
complimentary
glass.
The
party
cost
us
a
lot
of
money
and
when
asked
if
we
had
a
good
time
we
told
them
we
were
disappointed
with
the
evening
and
were
told
they
were
a
small
hotel
with
not
a
lot
of
resources
and
they
had
done
the
best
they
could
to
entertain
us.
One
of
the
worst
New
Years
we
have
ever
had.
Terrible
service
with
no
regard
for
the
customer’s
needs.
