We were staying on the 9th floor and we came back after dinner to find the bathroom floor flooding so we called the front desk to tell them about the toilet leaking water onto the floor. Their response was “you can use the bathroom in the lobby and we will turn off the water to your unit. 😭😭😭 what decent hotel company does this? They couldn’t get me the manager or the owner of the hotel that night. They told us that the hotel was fully booked and couldn’t move us to a different room. After I became so irritated, they had another room for us within the 2 minutes. Typical operation of a one star hotel. No managers or owners to complain to and yet they are wanting to charge the premium. The staff were like 1-2 weeks into their jobs and had no clue about how to handle such unfortunate circumstance which I would expect from motel 6 or something less. Total failure of management and hospitality

Ac went out and management was not helpful. The girl at the desk was very nice and tried to help but the manager, William, seemed more money driven then helpful. When they asked people to call their booking agencies to get a refund and rebook they would not allow a voucher to their sister hotel. When the manager got on the phone with the agencies to verify the ac was out he made sure to let them know that people could stay but would just be a little uncomfortable, sounded as though he was trying to talk them out of refunding people. Was on the phone for over an hour to fix it. Water was turned off several times without letting people know. It turned off while I was in the shower. 2nd night we were here we asked the front desk if we could get our room cleaned it never happened. Overall a really horrible stay. *Updated after owner response* The owner response seems about as unempathetic as the situation my family was placed in. This is the same location each member of my family stays at when coming home to visit but maybe that will need to change. The hotel facilities staff was the one that told us that the AC has been going out for days and the front desk notified us that the water was out in the building due to the AC maintenance on several occasions. If you're going to lie in your response to save face for your manager or your reputation, make sure your whole staff is in on it too. Consistency is key.

The service here was wonderful. I called a day before arriving into Denver to ask Hyatt if I could get a high floor because I was proposing to my girlfriend this vacation, they actually upgraded my room to a Mountain View on the second highest floor. Every time I needed something at the front desk they were always so nice and responded quickly. The bad: the breakfast here is severely lackluster. I would advise you to just not buy their breakfast and save the money. A pipe decided to burst in the middle of the night which caused no water for basically an entire day and no hot water for an entire day and night. We didn’t even get a simple sorry or anything else. You are paying a lot of money for a Hyatt yet we didn’t even have a water for a day. Our room also wasn’t the cleanest, but I have stayed in much worse so I didn’t ask to get it clean, however for the price you pay and paying to PARK, you’d want everything spotless. P.S the hotel is located near Denver, however it literally takes 10 minutes to get one mile down the road due to the amount of traffic.

Clean room, complimentary breakfast was good, location great. I thought it was free parking, but it was $12. Not bad though compared to other hotels. Will be staying here again if we visit. Everywhere we needed to go was about 15-20 from hotel so super convenient. Staff was friendly as well. If you need a hotel without all the extras and just need a clean space this hotel is it!

Summary: Mold, bugs (possibly bedbugs), health hazard, hygiene nightmare, dishonest staff, nonexistent management. I have been to many hotels (and many Hyatts) and this is the *single worst* hotel I have ever stayed. No other place comes even close. There are too many things that are wrong with this hotel so I will just describe the most serious ones here, because otherwise it’s going to take me all day. One of the biggest issues is that there’s a lot of purple mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. And that is already the third room we switched to after being unhappy with the first two rooms they provided us. We found the mold because we got allergic reactions due to it. We immediately contact the front desk and Hyatt after we found that out. But this is only the start of our nightmare. The front desk Charles first tried to switch us to a new room, but that is terrible as well so we didn’t take it. The room itself is much worse than our room in conditions and the bathroom ceiling has signs of past water leakage. After experiencing all these, we decided that we wanted to just get out of this hotel, but Charles says that he does not have the power to issue us a refund, even though the hotel rooms are clearly under unacceptable conditions. There is no manager who can deal with this on site because it’s already past midnight at that point. We ask Charles to contact a manager but he says that he doesn’t have a way to contact them (which is a lie, because the other person we talked to later clearly can). He told us, however, the manager would come to work at 9AM and we can resolve this then, so we decided that we will just stay until 9AM. But that’s another lie. There was no manager when we come down at 9AM after barely able to sleep for a night. What’s worse is that we found that the bathroom didn’t just have mold, but also bugs which are scarily like bedbugs. There are also clear visible stains on the bedsheets. We talked to the front desk again, but there was only one other person who doesn’t have the power to issue us any refunds and he said that the manager would not come until the afternoon! We urged him to call his manager to resolve the situation and he did. After rounds of conversations and a long time explaining the terrible experience at their hotel, we finally got a refund for the night we stayed (but they initially only wanted to give us a 50% discount), but we did not get any compensation for getting allergic reactions because of their hotel and all the other terrible experience. We also tried to contact Hyatt customer service but their response is simply that there is nothing they can do. I’m still in disbelief that how much time and effort it was required from us to get this resolved. Mold, bugs, hygiene issues are serious issues for any hotels. But there is *no one* in this hotel who can deal with this problem during our stay. The front desk person that contacted his manager was the only person who actually tried to help us and the only one who promised us that they will look into these issues. I have not even mentioned anything about the terrible design in their hotel rooms, the renovation that affected availability of rooms that they did not notify us even though we booked way in advance, the expensive parking fees, etc. Stay away from this hotel for your own health.

We travel a lot and this hotel was amazing. From the second we walked it the door we were treated like family. All of the staff member made us feel important. Even when the staff was overrun with customers, we were still acknowledged. This place has great energy. It’s also close to a bunch of stuff in walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if customer service is important to you. Thank you so much, for making us feel so welcome. ❤️

My boyfriend an I stayed at Hyatt Place Denver/Cherry Creek during our first trip to Denver on Memorial Day weekend. The staff was very friendly and greeted us whenever we returned, the hotel and room was clean, the bed was comfy and complimentary breakfast was delicious. We were also in walking or quick drive distance away from all downtown Denver had to offer. Overall, this was great value and we were very happy with our stay.

We had a good stay at this location, the rooms were spacious and the cleaning service was very well done. The breakfast options were great, especially with our little ones. I do want to point out though that one of the two elevators was down for maintenance (or so we were told) and this led to incredibly long wait times for the elevator, regardless of the time of day. With three small children in strollers, it was a huge inconvenience and when we inquired about how long it would take to repair the other elevator, we were given vague answers. This definitely put a damper on what could have been a perfect stay.

Recently in town for a short business trip and ended up staying here. It was extremely convenient to all the places we needed to get to. The rooms were updated and spacious. Very friendly staff with a great breakfast in the morning that had much better selection than most hotel breakfasts that I have seen. They also had a bar that was open in the evening if you want to stay close and not deal with the crowds of going out.

Everything at Hyatt place cherry creek was good except for the lady who does the daily breakfast because for past 3 mornings she has ended breakfast at 9:30 and this morning the only day I'm downstairs after 9 am to grab sum breakfast she has it all put up and tells me it ends at 9am. It was only 9:05 when I got downstairs today. Yesterday it was 9 am on the dot and she waited till 9:30 to take it down and clean up the area just like the two days prior. There needs to be more consistency than this. Also was charged for a day more than given to stay so I hope can get this fixed and another night added to stay to match amount paid to them already or a refund of one days cost before have to check out. Will update this review once I know what is happening with that. All in all is a quiet clean and comfortable friendly place to stay. Mini fridge in room but not a microwave. Spacious and pet friendly. Will, without needing paperwork from guest, waive 25 dollar pet deposit for service dogs.

Great hotel with an amazing location. I stated here for business, and the hotel staff were very helpful with letting our company keep the rooms until we needed to leave for the airport. There were plenty of parking spaces and the rooms were very well done. Nice spacious shower and even a cordless room phone. The fitness center was great with around 5 or 6 treadmills, 3 exercise bikes, 3 olypicals, and a variety of dumb bells. The breakfast could use some improvement. They ran out of eggs by the time I got down there at 7:30am. Overall, a great hotel experience.

Couldn’t have had a better experience! Great rate, awesome location, super friendly staff, killer breakfast, free parking, huge room w/ king bed, big sofa and solid view (even for the non Mountain View side). I’ve been impressed in every aspect, highly highly recommend this Hyatt.

Very nice hotel. Room was west-facing with panoramic mountain views. Beds are very comfortable and room was quiet and clean. Good breakfast each morning. Would have given 5 stars but one elevator was out of service the entire time of our stay (four days).

Visited Hyatt Place over the weekend for a concert in Denver. The room was great, best part was the shower for me(I don't have a walk-in at home). Anyway, the staff was beyond spectacular. Everyone was friendly and ready to be accommodating, extra blankets, no problem. Need a couple paper plates for some lunch, no issue. Recommendations on ways to kill an afternoon? No worries, they helped us find out how intriguing Meow Wolf could be. We thank you. Will 100% be using this as our go-to hotel while in the Denver area.

Clean room, excellent options for breakfast complimentary, good TV options interior hallways, have a small lobby good enough to get jobs done quickly, had a small bar didn't see like there was a whole lot going on when I was there but it had a bar and that my point. Room come with coffee but no water or cups. Had a small refrigerator with nothing on it. Depending what you doing I guess is located in a good area

No toilet paper in the room when we checked in and they wouldn’t bring any up to us, we had to go down and get it. Bed spread was badly stained/dirty and all they could offer us at the desk was a thin throw blanket not even large enough for a king bed. TP and a decent blanket would be nice when you’re paying for a hotel for a week…

We actually got placed in this hotel on Jan 15th for a night after our heat broke in our apartment. The front desk staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. I wish I had gotten their names, I was a bit out of it because the day before had been pretty chaotic. They were all very sweet and were kind to us after an exhausting day of trying to figure out the heating repairs. I highly recommend staying here! The beautiful window views were an added bonus :)

Had a room on the top floor, paid over $250 for anniversary weekend, seemed nice. They didn’t say anywhere on booking they’d take another $100 when you check in, okay, but why can’t you just charge damages onto the card I paid with? Okay, went to our room, it was an adjoining room. The door to the door between rooms wasn’t locked and it was like the people next door were standing in our room. It was so loud, I couldn’t believe it. It was god awful, they were loud into late hours of the night and before 9am they were so loud it scared us awake. For $200+ I couldn’t believe how honestly not great the room was. It was extremely dusty, as if they’d cleaned it days prior and hadn’t looked at it again? It was honestly quite disappointing. And I wish the company would give the workers a script on what to say for that $100 fee, it doesn’t get released immediately, and even that, you drop your key card in a box, so “it gets processed right after you checkout” isn’t accurate. Need to set realistic expectations with your customers that you will require an additional $100, and that it will take about a week to actually receive your $100 back, and that it will be processed by the end of the day. It just leaves less room for the customer to question exactly what that means, when it’s released in actuality, and how long I can expect to wait until I need to call and ask what’s going on because I haven’t received it in the expected time.

The location was perfect, we came down for a concert for my birthday, everything was a reasonable distance which is huge for staying in Denver. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating as well! For the location, room space, and how overall nice the hotel was it’s extremely cheap and worth every penny & some. Definitely staying here during any/all Denver trips from now on.

To say the stay was exquisite is an understatement. The staff was great, especially Ivette. She was very helpful and made our stay comfortable. Definitely recommend her with questions or making a reservation. When we had arrived to our room through the quick elevator, we were greeted to nothing but a clean and elegant room with a great view of the surrounding area. Quiet night and woke up to a delicious breakfast with many options. For sure coming back!

2/20-2/21/23 3 stars for a 3 star hotel. Not a terrible place to stay. Nice enough hotel. Only one elevator was working that was kind of inconvenient. Also charge you a $12 fee for parking that was never mentioned and charged to my card a day after checkout. Kind of shady. Check your account records after staying is my opinion. I am also concerned that the fire sprinkler system isn't secured. You could turn the valve off outside. It is not monitored and with some turns, shut the water down that supplies the entire sprinkler system and fire pump.

This was a great place to stay! Commute location with lots of shopping centers, fast food, and restaurants nearby. Great customer service, amazing breakfast, and very nice rooms with a beautiful view! Definitely recommend!

The elevator is sus. It got stuck on our floor and would not let us out. Breakfast is nice. Rooms could use some TLC like The electrical sockets are odd. They don't fit regular American plugs. My phone charger fell right out. The bathroom door is transparent so all the light comes out when someone uses it in the middle of the night. Very poor design flaw. Also the sliding door for the bathroom could very easily pinch childrens fingers. It closes fast and hard. The pull out sleeper couch is uncomfortable for adults. Only plan on using it for kids. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. It's within walking distance of food and a Walgreens. Good parking situation. Nice views.

The room itself was nice enough The view was awful. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom was disappointing, although the shower was great. The counter and vanity were nice but the faucet was positioned so far back that water spilled on the counter unless hands or other things were deep in the basin. The toilet paper was mounted into the vanity; if you have short arms, or you're a child, be prepared to topple off the toilet trying to reach it. The cord of the hair dryer was so short that I had to practically hug the wall to dry my hair. (If you hold the dryer in your right hand, it will be marginally better.) Lighting was insufficient for applying makeup. Finally, the door was mounted barn-door style. But because it wasn't mounted level and plumb, it slid back against the wall, requiring a lot of tugging to close it. Breakfast was just okay. Would have liked some variation in hot cereal (not everybody likes steel cut oats day after day) and better tasting eggs and bagels. Eggs tasted like powdered eggs. The fruit bowl option was good.

worst hotel pillows i've ever slept on. old and flat and didn't smell good. no fan in the bathroom for ventilation so the room got super hot and steamy after showers. rooms were not very clean and felt very old and outdated. felt bad for the person at the front desk bc they had one person dealing with phones/check ins AND bartending on a saturday night when the bar was packed.

I just checked in and got into my comfy bed. Bug, the front desk agent agent was awesome. She was so friendly and made me feel so welcome. She made the check-in process a breeze and provided me with a bunch of great info! Thanks Bug!

I had a great stay. Clean beds, bathrooms, showers. No gross smells or stains like many other places tend to have. Breakfast was decent. Would've liked more dessert choices, but I can't complain. If I come back to the area, I'll be staying here again.

You would be surprised how awesome it is to be outside of the city center, traffic and congestion is not all it’s meant to be. This hotel has everything. Delicious breakfast, clean rooms, and proximity to everything. Staff is Superb, we had the pleasure of enjoying Halloween during our stay. They made it very frightful!🎃🍁😉

Lindsay at the front desk went above and beyond in helping us out! We arrived late at night on the first day and despite the hour, she was kind and full of energy, even offering us complementary waters. I think she works the overnight shift but even after a long night of manning the front desk, when we arrived a little too early for breakfast ahead of a big day, she went out of her way to provide us with a pack of bagels. She had a similar camaraderie with other guests and it’s clear that the customer service here is phenomenal!

Usually love Hyatt's but this one is a little off. Probably the loud obnoxious manager who yelled at her employees for about 10 minutes before helping us. The rooms were decent not as clean as usual. Probably won't come back but mostly because of the manager.

So the location itself was easy to find and was close to many things to go and do,........but not the most attractive surroundings. Minus that, everything was perfect. We just wished there had been a pool, but that was my own fault for not seeing what amenities you had before reserving the rooms.

I had a nice, three night stay. The room was very nice. Comfortable king bed. Very nice bathroom. Service was fantastic. Close to many restaurants. I would recommend this location. Room rate was a little expensive, but you get what you pay for.
