Love this place! I enjoyed a staycation in this historic mansion. I was in the Shooting Star room, which was beautiful. Nice bathtub and balcony too. The living room is gorgeous and fun to hang out in. Breakfast in the dining room is elegant and delicious. I had a full French Press coffee with fresh fruit and yogurt followed by a soufflé, bacon and a croissant. (The menu changes daily). Hosts are welcoming and helpful with suggestions of what to do nearby. This charming mansion was built in 1891 and has a lot of history. I recommend stay there.

Me and my husband loved staying here on our visit to Denver! The owner, his daughter and staff did a great job at making us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay. The “bluebell room” was very spacious and we loved having our own private entrance. The gourmet breakfast and french pressed coffee were amazing and we looked forward to it every morning during our stay. Given the chance to visit Denver again we will definitely be returning here. Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality!

Staying a night at this place was a great experience for my wife and I. The location is fantastic to see a more chill area of Denver than downtown, and the hotel and grounds are well-kept and feel historic. We opted for the champagne and chocolates upgrade to our room and were surprised by two amazing cupcakes (they were enormous). We found out the next morning the innkeeper saw them at the market earlier that day and bought them for us specifically. Fantastic service! Well, the breakfast part of the B-and-B did not disappoint. We had pecan/caramel Belgian waffles with bacon, fruit, and the fresh coffee that everyone else mentions. My wife doesn't drink coffee (at all) but she drank a cup of this. That should tell you something. We'll be back in the future, hopefully soon!

We do a lot of traveling and this is good as it gets. For a restored mansion the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious. After our visit Carl and Bailey feel like old friends. Gracious hosts. THE place to stay in Denver.

What a beautiful place! It's quaint & gorgeous. We stayed here since it was within walking distance to The Ogden Theater. Brunch is included in the room price & was delicious. We will definitely stay here again if we find any concerts at The Fillmore or Ogden Theaters. Don't mind the messy bed, I forgot to take pics when we arrived.

Stunningly beautiful property. Bailey and Carl were warm and welcoming. As we arrived early, we got to tour the house and it was nothing short of awesome. Parking was conveniently situated right behind the house. The house is in a beautiful historical neighborhood with some good places to eat within walking distance. Also LoDo (city center) is within walking distance.

Had the best stay back in 2020 when I relocated to Denver from FL. I’m visit when I can now for the patio brunch. It’s amazing, as is the host/chef Carl. 🤗

Was a fun experience and unique breakfast. Owner was great, and very accommodating. Only really issue is that the Bed was not really comfortable.

This place is really something special. Tucked in the historic district of Denver and has easy access to the core of Denver make it a real treat. I stayed on November 2nd and loved how kind and friendly the owner and inn keeper was and how proud he was of his bed and breakfast. The house is really well kept and the owner upgraded us for free which really added to the experience. Finally, the breakfast was delicious and unique in that it was not just scrambled eggs and toast. I would highly recommend stopping in to this place and staying the night. I will be back again.

Beautiful old house, well maintained inside, outside could use some work. Breakfast outside on the patio was wonderful. Could have used some more history on the house.

First off, the place was beautiful, and that’s not why I put one star. Everything was amazing and rich with history. HOWEVER, the owner is a major problem. From the moment me and my family got there, she absolutely refused to acknowledge my pronouns (they/them) and ignored me whenever I politely told her that she was incorrect. Also, she was making conversation from the getgo, and we somehow got onto the topic of the BLM protest. She described the protesters as “cockroaches”. Literally. Long story short, if you’re LGBTQIA+, an ally of it, or a BLM person, don’t stay here.

My husband and I just spent four nights at the beautiful Capital Hill Mansion. The room was spacious and immaculate, even my husband is now a B&B fan. The aroma coming from the kitchen each morning was absolutely amazing. Greeted by French pressed coffee, some of our favorite breakfast meals included the banana foster pancakes, the gouda cheese soufflé and the crème brulé French toast. Carl, the owner/chef and his daughter Bailey, create an atmosphere to ensure guests have a memorable experience. The location was perfect and allowed us to take several day trips to see the beautiful sites of Colorado. Capital Hill Mansion is an experience you should not pass up. Thank you Carl and Bailey! is an experience you should not pass up. Thank you Carl and Bailey!is an experience you should not pass up. Thank you Carl and Bailey!

Wow, all I can say is wow! My partner and I stayed in the pasque flower room and it was so beautiful, heck even the property itself is beautiful! We were only there for the night (tried to stay two but they were already booked for the following night), and we already wish we could go back! I took two baths in the jetted tub (yes, it was that good!). I also loved how there was a tea kettle and different teas with coffee and sugar too! Oh and the fridge with soda and ice cold water was a great touch. There was also a fan and a heater in the closet for those that need it. The location is also great, it is in the heart of Denver. We were 10 minutes away from cherry creek! Oh and the breakfast, my goodness it was amazing! There were blackberry scones, fresh fruit, yogurt. And for the meal there was an egg souflee with a delish croissant. Carl and Bailey did an amazing job with this property and they are very kind souls and we enjoyed talking to them. Carl was even greeting us on our way out! Thank you two so much, we can’t wait to come back soon! <3

I stayed here 2 nights alone for a sort of staycation. It was purely magical. The rooms are set appropriately to match the architecture. The rooms are set with all items necessary to make the stay comfortable. They feel absolutely soul refreshing. The owners are top notch. They truly feel like family. They are approachable and authentic. They made me feel exceptionally comfortable. Bailey has all the scoop on local history and excellent direction for enjoying your time while you are here. Chef Cory prepared meals to perfection. The meals were just the right size. Guests are able to commune and have excellent conversation as a community. The connectivity of this experience is full of light filling joy. Everything is in walking distance. I am slightly lazy so I drove but it is excellently situated. The overall experience allows for rejuvenation and refilling of your spirit. It has the comforts of an older home (floor creaking) but the seclusion of a magical oasis.
