We booked a mountain view room with a balcony for 4 nights. The hotel pictures of the mountain and balcony were very deceiving. The balcony was very small and you could only stand on it. We had no privacy as people checking in and out the hotel seemed to be looking at us. A chair was not allowed on the balcony because of safety issues. The pictures fail to show the huge parking lot, congestive street traffic, a neighborhood across from the hotel. The mountain view is further away than the picture shows. Be sure to call ahead and ask if the shuttle will be running on the days you visit. The shuttle driver was nice, helpful and came back quickly when we were ready to be picked up. The bartenders were very nice and the Wings and Fries were Awesome. The front desk staff were nice. I am a Hilton honors member and upon checkout apparently, the rates were higher than any rates the front desk clerk had seen in a few years. Her eyes bucked, she wished she could do something to lower the cost, but could not. I thought I was getting a deal. I will book via another source next time. The 5th and last night was spent at Embassy Suites Denver Airport and had a better view and a shuttle that takes you to the airport.

Fantastic stay! As a traveler for work I’ve seen some pretty good and some pretty bad hotels! This one is absolutely in the top 10 best hotels. First I will say it’s a centralize locations, hotel lobby is very nice with a fireplace, ALL staff is very kind and helpful, great snack selection, fantastic coffee bar, rooms are exceptionally clean, and beds are very comfortable. The best part will have to be the downstairs restaurant/bar area. The food is so good, the wine selection is great, the dining area is very well put together and spacious. The patio with the outdoor pool is super cute, the pools themselves are clean and well maintained. I’m extremely impressed by the overall cleanliness and I will be booking all my future stays with this Double tree when I come back to town. The only complaint I have is the hallway initially had a weird smell but it isn’t very noticeable. I believe most hotels always a weird smell, so it doesn’t bother me much. 10 out 10 recommend

Disappointing for the DoubleTree brand. Front desk staff behavior is gruff at best. If you don't ask questions they don't offer up any information about your stay. For example, when I asked about parking the lady was visibly annoyed that I wouldn't already know all parking around the building is considered the paid parking. She also made it a point to over explain how the daily parking meant the charge would be on my bill for every day I was there. Yes Lisa, I know what daily means. She never explained - nor did I see any signage in the room - how the housekeeping process would go. To this day I still don't know if my room was never reset during the week I was there out of neglect or because that's a new process I'm not aware of. That much money for no service and a mediocre room is not worth it at all. Go down another mile to other hotels that are actually worth your money and time away from home.

In town as part of a room block for my Nephews Weeding up the road at the Wilshire Event Center. The room block was for a Saturday and Sunday and we arrived on the Thursday before. We actually had to make two reservations at two different room rates and had to check in and get issued new keys as part of the room check issue. We kept the same room, but system should allow for a single reservation, and the room block rate. The whole process of check out, check in, new keys etc was a pain. The staff was amazing the entire visit from event staff, front desk, wait staff, and more. We opted for only fresh towels and trash for room refresh, as it was not necessary to have bedding changes daily. Hospitality and cleaning staff were not English speaking and this made some communication a challenge. Not a fan of their beds or pillows as I have memory foam bed and neck support pillows at my own residence, but someone else may live the firm mattresses. Overall a very pleasant stay and loved the area for morning walks in the Greenwood Village business parks.

I am not sure how this place is still in business. First off, when we went to check in, the guy at the desk didn't even acknowledge our presence. After standing there for a moment, my husband had to ask if we could check in. Still no hello or even a look our way. We get checked in and head to the room. Room was decent, but at night we got pretty warm. So the next night we decide to sleep with our sliding glass door open, only to be woken up by the hotel workers yelling in the parking lot at 3 am about loading up a van. Okay, our fault for sleeping with the door open, we decide we will have somebody come look at the a/c before our final night. We had somewhere to be at a certain time, so we had maintenance come to the room and check out the a/c. He came, did some adjustments and said it should be working great now, but it will take some time to cool down the entire room. We ask him if when we get back from the event, if the room was still warm could we be moved. He said yes, that will be no problem I will go ahead and let the front desk know, just in case. Came back from our event around 10 pm - the room was even worse than when we left. Call the front desk and let them know we would like to be moved, as the a/c was still down. The lady on the phone was so rude and did not care to help at all - told us there were no other rooms available. The parking lot was EMPTY! So my husband asks for a refund for the 1 night, so that we can go to another hotel and sleep peacefully and all of a sudden there is a room available but the hotel security has to come up and make sure the a/c is really broken. At 11 pm at night we were finally able to move into a new room, but that room had a shower that did not drain! It was only one night left, so we were just grateful to have a/c that night. If you want somewhere that cares about their patrons, please do not use this facility. As a Hilton Honors Member who has stayed at many Hilton's all over - this is by far the worst one.

I was so pleasantly surprised during my stay! We came to Denver for 1 night for a concert at Fiddlers Green, the hotel had a free shuttle to and from which was awesome! Everything in this hotel was spotless including my room, very cute towel art, a personalized welcome message in the TV screen when I came in, the staff was friendly and helpful! The interior rooms that face the restaurant and pool are awesome and I had an exterior room with a balcony, which I didn’t know they had. They also have full size body products which is amazing! Another plus is they have a QR code for tipping which is great for people who don’t often carry cash. All around an awesome stay, I will be back!

Motel quality, hotel price, plus HUGE security problems. Building overall is very old, though front lobby looks recently updated. Second & first floors were musty and the ceiling tiles were outdated and riddled with water stains (third floor & above had more updated popcorn ceiling). Our room was very small and outdated with chipped paint and wood fixtures. For the most part was visibly clean, though some stains were visible as well as caked on substances on the shower handle. Walls and ceilings are also thin and can be very noisy at night. The absolute BIGGEST issue, however, was the absolute lack of security. The original balcony door lock had been ripped out, and the replacement would only work if jiggled around. The side maintenance door is also left completely open during the day and thus allows free access to the rest of the hotel. The same door is left UNLOCKED at night. The only pleasant part of our stay were the front desk attendants, who were pleasant and helpful. Otherwise service is lacking; room cleanings are only done once every three days.

Upon check in the staff was helpful but not very welcoming. The room was nice and clean. Some paint was scraped off the wall and solves of paint on the counter. Bathroom has nice lighting for getting ready and a handheld magnifying mirror. Great smelling shampoo conditioner body soap and lotion. Room was quiet and had a balcony. Very relaxing.

The hotel room was extremely affordable. I just didn't like that they didn't serve breakfast and the kiosk that they had for coffee didn't have the best food and was a little over priced. The room and the hotel were really nice and the staff was very helpful. I stayed at the hotel for a craniosacral course so it made it very convenient for me.

Great hotel to stay at for that neck of the woods lol my only complaint is every stay i have a billing issue. First stay my food credit wasn't applied. Second stay was told i got a credit for check in day and following day/morning. This wasn't true. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Wish they had do not disturb sign on every door as housekeeping woke me up early. Staff is super friendly especially bar and kitchen staff. They do have a shuttle for anybody attending events at fiddler's Green. Great for drop off not so great for pickup. All in all pretty well-rounded hotel. 3rd : stay once again thanks Beverly and dining crew! They do an amazing job! I also finally didn't have a billing issue. Only issue was the elevator is still down and bathroom door didn't shut. Rm 512 (also didn't get preferred room) level or section. Rooms always clean that team works hard. They always are running around to insure hotel is clean .

Lisa, one of the wonderful ladies at the front desk was incredibly nice and respectful. I called in advance the day I was supposed to check in with my special requests for my room and she took care of Mr and got me exactly what I had requested. The day of my checkout, I had forgotten a piece of my luggage in the lobby. Between her and the driver it was secured quickly and the communication in the process was superb. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed last summer and the shower handle was broken and the tub was clogged. The night agent sent a maintenance guy about 11:00pm. He wanted to leave before the work was done to catch a bus.We did get comped for the room but what an Inconvenience. we decided to try it again because of the location right off I 25. Our room had holes in the wall and mold in the refrigerator. We did a room change three times and finally got some thing that we had to settle for. Due to the inconvenience for over an hour and changing rooms We missed a reservation. I would not recommend this dump to anyone. we deserve a comp for all of the dirty rooms we were offered. never again.

They are all very friendly, attentive, helpful and know how to serve Giving top quality customer service. they have all the qualities that you look for in customer service. They are very well prepared for and are used to dealing with a heavy flow of customers. we came because of a concert at fiddlers Green. They just know what they are doing and still have nothing sacrificed. Thank you everyone for your business and this customer will return if the opportunity presents itself.

Went to a concert at Fiddler’s Green and liked how close this hotel was to the venue. The hotel is older then the pictures show online and the customer service was awful. All the front desk attendants were rude. We checked in at 3 and they said our room was not ready. When I stressed we had somewhere to be at 4 magically they had a room available? The room was not what we booked and they never told us anything about parking. My husband had to go back down to the front desk and then they let us know we needed a parking flag so we didn’t have to pay. Overall a mediocre experience. I’ll stay somewhere else next concert.

The room was nice and the service was nice as well. It’s just too bad there is no breakfast and parking cost 12 dollars a day. But overall a good stay

This hotel is old and updated, but lots of undesirables hanging around. There is no room for toiletries in the bathroom. Just a sink with a very small counter. Also housekeeping does not come everyday to clean your room. It is okay, but al least leave new towels. Everything we asked for, we had to go get it from the front desk. Except room service. The food in the hotel is edible but not woth mentioning. Also, I am aware marijuana is legal here, but every evening the halls are full of pot smoke. This is not a luxury hotel by any means. Next time, I will pay more per night at another hotel to get the customer service we deserve. To top everything off they want you to pay for parking, and there is NO cable TV. The people that work here are very nice and friendly.

It's an okay hotel. The check-in experience was weird, not sure they did it right because someone came to my room days later to ask if it was occupied and how long I was staying. A wasp got in the room at one point, despite me not opening the sliding door. The view from the mountainside rooms was nice, the rooms in general were okay.

My problems with the guest room for a three-night stay are as follows -- multiple insects, non-functioning HVAC, excessive humidity, bad smell and stuffiness, and general poor cleanliness of shower. I have stayed at this very hotel dozens of times in the past and have not experienced conditions this dire in the past. Each day I encountered multiple bugs throughout room. They were on the bed, on the floor, in the air. I'm not a bug-phobe, but this was ridiculous. Also, each day the HVAC system could not reach proper temperature or level of dryness despite keeping all curtains fully closed during the day. I sent a text on the app the first night about this problem -- no response. After five days, still no response. I requested a different room, but the hotel was fully booked. So they sent an engineer who tinkered with the HVAC and got it to partially work for a while. I asked if they have a gauge to measure humidity which appeared to be around 80% humidity -- no luck. This should be standard for hotels to guard against serious conditions like mold and Legionnaires disease. The room cooled down a little but the suffocating smell and humidity did not improve. Incidentally the workout room has always suffered from a similar stuffiness and failure of the HVAC to condition and dry the space when in morning use, which is why people try to open the doors for ventilation -- which have subsequently been screwed shut. Also of minor importance to me is hair from a previous occupant on the shower walls. Not a huge problem but another worrying sign of lack of cleanliness. Every day in the room I struggled with the unreasonable room conditions with bugs/humidity and should have checked out. This was my worst Hilton room experience ever and I have stayed at hundreds. Unacceptable at any price. The fact that they charge ($12/night?) for parking in Greenwood Village is ridiculous. The good things about this hotel include the lobby, Zinc restaurant, staff, coffee shop, bed comfort.

Motel quality, not really a “four star” hotel. There was a rave like event taking place while I was staying there, and had I known about the event the hotel was allowing, I would’ve booked a different hotel. There was no parking for hotel guests due to the influx of event attendees. the hotel hired rent a cops, and they asked to search me for alcohol, yet I don’t drink, and was not there for the event. There was loud bass going until 1 am and then drunk people running around the hotel. when I returned back to the hotel from dinner, the Greenwood village police department had 4 officers sitting in the lot due to the event and then there was an ambulance and someone had overdosed at the event. The room was dirty and outdated. This truly a miserable stay at a gross hotel, especially due to the hotel trying to search everyone as they re enter the hotel, but nothing was mentioned about this during check in or when I booked the room. Pick a different hotel, the doubletree is not worth it.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Was kinda of worried staying here a lot of mixed reviews but after my stay I can say this hotel was 5/5 for me the rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. The Front Desk Guy named Drew went out of his way to help me out even tho he was extremely busy. He was able to accommodate me with all my needs so shout out to him!

  • 3/5 Marci D. 9 months ago on Google
The location and check in process was superb at this location. However, the age of the hotel shows once you get past the lobby. The pool had algae growing in standing water surrounding the pool, many outdoor chairs at the pool were broken or damaged. In the hotel room there was makeup (liquid foundation) on the curtains. The toilet did not flush properly and the drain to the bathtub was removed. I truly expected more from a Hilton chain.

Had one of the best stays. The front desk staff were great! The two guys that were bartending were very professional but still personable and fun. Room was outstanding. Breakfast staff were great. Food was amazing. Shuttle driver was very accommodating. Highly recommend this hotel. If ever back in Denver, I will for sure stay again.

Super clean. Efficient staff although the lady at check in did not seem particularly interested in explaining how I was to pay for parking with my phone. Yes, it's in the tech center but I'm a senior country bumkin. We figured it out. The stay was fantastic. Food was awesome. Super comfortable bed. Great shower. Best breakfast buffet. Worth the money.

The only reason I am giving this two stars is because of the complimentary cookies and water bottles. I stayed here for a wedding in which a large block of rooms were blocked for family coming from out of state. There is definitely a plumbing issue with this hotel. Everyone had issues with poor drainage in the bathroom sinks and several with low water pressure and tub backing up also. Even with only running the bathroom faucet for a minute, the water backed up to the top and had to wait forever for it to drain back down. We stayed for three nights and had to pay to park our car. We parked in the lot where the front desk worker suggested on the side where our room was located. There was a huge pothole we had to navigate around as we came and went during the three days. On the morning we were leaving, we went to our car and there were construction workers who had literally jackhammered the pavement surrounding our car, leaving us no way out. The worker said they tried to notify us ,which was a lie, since our cellphones had been with us constantly. We had returned late from the wedding the night before and there were no areas tied off or warning that there would be work the following morning and not to park in those spaces, which would seem a reasonable thing to do. When we went to the front desk asking what the heck was going on, they were absolutely no help, saying they had no way of finding out who our car belonged to. Really? The hotel has no way of searching the license plates with how we were paying to park our car? Management did absolutely nothing to help us. The construction workers managed to get our car out but have no idea yet if there is any damage to the undercarriage, this was a brand new car by the way on our first road trip. Worst experience ever here. Follow up: We made the trip from Denver back to Michigan without any car issues, thank God. Today I spoke with DoubleTree on the phone and they apologized and refunded one night's stay (we stayed three nights there). They could not give any answers as to why they didn't notify us of the construction, only that the pay to park using PARKWHIZ is a new system they just recently started and there are "kinks" that need to be worked out. Did not address the plumbing issues.

This is a nice hotel with wonderful employees who are extremely helpful. We put my parents in a room here when they were in town. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was broken in their room, which they lived with for a night. The hotel allowed them to change rooms at no cost for the second night, though. The restaurant there is much too much overpriced so I would not recommend trying it. The staff were all extremely helpful and accommodating.

The staff here was fantastic the rooms were clean and well maintained. The food at the restaurant was amazing and the bar fantastic. The lobby and shared areas were all very nice with great updated furniture. The only thing keeping me from giving this place 5 stars is that the furniture and fixtures in the room were worn out and outdated. The cabinet with the mini fridge disintegrated a bit there was some cracking paint in the bathroom some lights were lopsided and there were only 2 hangers in the room. Overall a great stay but could stand a facelift for the rooms.

Great hotel, easy to find, extremely friendly staff. Great breakfast. Please notify your guests at time of reservation if there will be any loud parties going to late night such as the party last weekend. Please notify your guests at time of reservation regarding the $50 daily incident hold so they can be prepared as many are on a budget.

I liked the location it was very clean around the place and I felt safe, and it was close enough to walk to Fiddlers Green. I walked back to the hotel at 11:00 pm and I felt that it was a well lit road and was safe. The hotel and room were clean. Not 5 stars, I wish they didn’t make me pay parking and had breakfast available. Plus I could hear the patrons at the bar when I went to bed. I would stay again if I’m in that area.

The front desk is very helpful amd informative. The room was great. The bathroom left a little to be desired. Don't plan on a decent view. Hotel sits Ina business park. Definitely a bit dated with a few remodels. The bar staff was cool.

Love the cookies! Bed very comfortable. Solid place to stay. Decor a bit dated, but clean and functional. Nice big TV. Excellent location, was about 15 minutes from U of Denver, downtown, and most of the other places we needed to go. Several really good breakfast places only a few minutes away.
