First of all Cassandra R. front desk supervisor is the best! She is courteous and friendly. She moved us to a wheelchair accessible room which made our stay 1000x better. The room was clean and spacious. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. We will stay here again.

Absolutely unacceptable that this hotel's airport shuttle doesn't have markings on it for Residence Inn or Marriott. They use a service called Western Shuttle. I sat outside on island 3 in a winter snowstorm waiting for 45 minutes before calling the front desk to ask where their shuttle was. She told me it is an unmarked van marked western shuttle. The front desk receptionist said it is a common complaint.

I booked a room for a week through my company for work travel. My flight on 9/10 was delayed and I called ahead to let them know I’d be arriving after midnight. The woman at the front desk said they couldn’t guarantee me a room. I said but I have a confirmed reservation, are you telling me I will have no place to sleep tonight? She said she put a note in my reservation and they’d save me a room. They lied. I showed up at 1 am to be told they overbooked and were sold out. No offer to make it right. I called Hilton reservations and they found me someplace 6 miles away. Pathetic customer service. Never staying at a Marriott again.

I stayed there for over 2 months. The staff was nice. They had an awesome breakfast every morning. home made waffles, eggs, potatoes, fruit, juice, cereal snacks and muffins, breakfast burrito. Was a lit different every morning. The ladies that work in the dining area were really nice, making sure you get enough food, thoughtful. It got me out of bed in the morning. Ha ha The only thing that bothered me was the pool and hot tub were closed. I had chosen the hotel because they had a beautiful picture of the pool and hot tub advertised. Unfortunately I couldn't find another hotel with both running. So I stayed. Very nice room. Full size refrigerator w ice, dishwasher, stove top. 55 inch TV. Dishes. It was clean! All in all I enjoyed my stay there. Miss the breakfast!

Strange experience at this Marriott. I have never been told (by chat or by any other means) that a Marriott brand hotel was overbooked and that I was being transferred to another hotel. Wouldn’t have been a big deal if they had rebooked us in the same type of room (two room suite or better) but they were trying to rebook us in a room that wasn’t at all suitable for our group (two double room). They delivered this message to me by chat around 9pm when we were due to check in at 10:30pm. Talk about panic! In the end (somehow) they magically found an available two room suite for us was a bit odd in itself. The hotel is very dated and needs to be remodeled and the police camera presence in the parking lot is a bit unnerving.

This is one of the only hotels with two bedroom rooms. They are arranged perfectly and have 2 bathrooms!!!!! A little overpriced for minimal service hotel. Free breakfast but stop serving at nine which is too early. Love the hotels in gateway park and near DIA. All newer and convenient. This is our favorite when I take teenage boys with me. They have their own space as do I and the rooms are across from each other with a living room separating.

This hotel is absolutely junk Rundown and lack of maintenance shows. The A/C in meeting room isn't fixed 3 years later with reason you have to reset thermostat. Carpet are filthy rooms pumped full of air freshener so it seems clean. Bathrooms near lobby water standing on floor due to broken toilet. No pictures of rooms as i refuse to stay at this hotel from my visit 4 years ago. Stay somewhere else and save the hassle. Update: front desk is nice and friendly, A/c seems to be work correctly now and the team sent voodoo doughnuts as a thanks. Thanks for addressing some of the issues

This Residence Inn is showing its age. The room that I had was clean but had an old feeling to it. The bed for sure was needing a change. There was an indentation on the side with the alarm clock so that made it u comfortable. The pillows were terrible. They had the plastic protection covers making them crunchy and had to sleep on. Just horrible. Aside from the bed and outdated rooms, breakfast was decent. The lady every morning was fantastic and handed out bottled waters. That's quality service. Unfortunately won't be staying at this property due to the several uncomfortable nights sleep.

The rooms were slightly dated but the staff was more than made up for it. They were all excellent. Everyone was genuinely friendly and helpful during my two-week stay. Especially Ms. Vegas. She made sure I was happy with breakfast every morning and kept a good rotation on the menu. I'll definitely be staying here on my next visit largely because of her and the rest of the people that work here.

I am compelled to share my recent experience at Residence Inn by Marriott Gateway as it has left me throughly disgusted, upset, and disappointed. The treatment we received was nothing short of disgraceful and feel it is important to bring attention to this appalling situation. In summary, I left my room for a couple of hours to return and find my room door open and items gone, despite having locked my door before leaving. Immediately, I notified the front desk and filled a police report. To my dismay, the management's response was far from satisfactory. The managements handling of the matter was a disheartening mix of incompetence and rudeness. It appears that their only response to the serious allegations of theft was to deflect blame on the guest. Their response was "Are you sure you closed your door?". This lack of accountability is unacceptable and tarnishes the reputation of the hotel. I hope this review serves as a warning to others and prompts the hotel to address its security measures and customer service shortcomings.

I was going to give a 5 start review because I had no complaints, the room is big and has everything I needed for a week stay for work. Never had to ask for towels or cleaning. The maid is fantastic. I also checked right in. The staff is nice. But as I was packing my stuff about to leave I seen a mouse crawling from under my bed to a hiding place by the sink. I got it on video and showed the front desk which they said they’d let maintenance now.

Though this was an older hotel and you can just tell about the decor the staff here was just amazing everyone was overly extra friendly and nice and polite and kind they gave us nice bags when we checked in with snacks and for the room anything I needed any question I had they they answered and did everything perfectly I can't complain the food set up in the morning was nice everything was fresh to keep it hot they kept it plentiful they had great conversation while we ate this place was really nice so though it was you know an older hotel it was a really good place to stay and the water pressure in the room was really great then that is a plus for me

This hotel overbooks and gives your room away! We had prepaid thru Orbitz but upon arrival we were told no rooms were available. The night manager Gigi was incredibly rude and unhelpful and said since we had booked thru a third party that our room was not guaranteed. I do NOT recommend this hotel due to their terrible uncaring customer service and overbooking policy.

There are definitely better hotels in the immediate areas. The lobby is dated, breakfast reuses food the previous day, the rooms have old furniture and outdated appliances, the pool had no water, and housekeeping is a joke. Good luck getting someone to clean your room. This property is a candidate for the worst Residence Inn!

Never had a worst hotel experience in my life….….Three times we were sent to a room where our keys didn’t work. Turns out two of those times was because there was already someone staying in the room we were assigned. Not to mention we had to walk over a man passed out in the elevator hallway each time, who almost appeared to be an employee of the hotel as he was wearing a khaki uniform. We were so uncomfortable and frustrated with this experience we simply asked to be refunded so we could leave and stay at a safer hotel for the few hours we had left until our flight left. It has been 3 weeks now and I still can’t refunded. I was unable to get ahold of this hotel location and have called the corporate office multiple times. We have been loyal residence inn customers, but never again…..

Will at the front desk is AMAZING. He was super nice and welcoming and so kind. Answered all questions and gave a lot of information kept up small talk that was not at all awkward. Really sweet guy he made my day. So.far hotel is nice and clean appeara to be some construction but not in the way.

My wife and I spent 4 terrific nights here. We liked everything about the place, but I especially give kudos to the terrific people that work here. From the staff at the front desk to the people that clean the rooms, I'd have to say that the staff is so friendly and caring, always willing to go out of their way to help us, and to make us happy. I wish I would have asked everyone's name so that I could point out the people that were really great, so at this point I'd have to say that we really loved our encounters with Gigi, Cassandra, and Esteban at the front desk, and Pablo the man that cleaned our room was great. My favorite was definitely Gigi who works from 1:30 to 10:30. What a warm, caring, generous and loving lady she is. So if you like to stay at a beautiful place, that has a kitchen and lots of friendly staff, I'd say that the Marriott Residence Inn Denver Airport is the place for you. Seymour Wasserstrum

I was rather excited to stay at this location, specifically because of the convenience of the airport shuttle and that I got a decent price for a 3 star hotel. All that changed when I called for shuttle service and said they stop at midnight. Which is when my flight arrived. It didn't state anywhere on the site that there was very limited hours of operation. I had already booked the trip which was non refundable , so I was SOL for that unfortunately. To make it more disappointing I got upstairs to my unit to settle in at 1am with two small kids and came to find out there are no linens in the closet like it stated for the pullout sofa. Keep in mind I'm on the 4th floor, tired with two kids full of luggage and call the front desk to ask where the blanket and linens are. She stated they were down stairs 😑. I asked if someone would be able to bring up and she said it wouldn't be for another 20 mins . I said forget and all of us sleep on the bed. I entered the bathroom which looked like it wasn't completely clean considering that there was toothpaste and splash marks from obviously someone brushing their teeth. There were only two worn out towels to shower with , which there are 3 of us. So another hassle and inconvenience. The bathroom fan was so damn noisy I wouldn't run it cuz it was so bad. The bathroom was so mediocre I couldn't imagine why this place was considered 3 stars? The tennis court was a nice perk but not worth all the other trouble.

Whoever cleaned my room before my check-in did a terrible job. I literally found a dried up piece of pie crust the size of a nickel stuck to a plate that had been put away as clean in the cabinets. It was much too large for any competent person to have not noticed. Now I’m left me with the uneasy feeling that everything else in my room is probably just as dirty as that disgusting plate. EDIT: The cleaning people here also need to be taught to knock on doors before just entering people’s rooms with their master key. My door was opened twice by staff without any kind of warning beforehand.

Large clean rooms. Breakfast a bit better than average. Airport shuttle serves several hotels, dropped us off a level below check in, so no curbside bag check.

Receptionist were really nice and polite BUT there was a kitchen lady that's was really rude at all times last Saturday I was waiting in line to make myself a waffle and when it was my turn she said "how many are u making there's people waiting behind you" with a rude tone. It felt that at times she was rushing us out. When I was going to pour the waffle fix she took it from my hand without explanation. The room was clean but I was not happy after that incident happened.

Cassandra is absolutely wonderful! She is so professional and genuine. She made my stay very comfortable and made sure that I had everything that I needed. The room was clean and all setups were available in the kitchen. Cassandra is hospitality plus!

Arrived to fine the pool and Jacuzzi out of order with no known opening. Laundry facilities same thing. Most machines down. We booked here for an on-site pool and jacuzzi. This was not communicated on their website or informed in any manner before our arrival. I asked to be moved to another property with working facilities. No response.
