As a Gaylord Rockies STAR (employee) these are my own personal opinions, and in no way does my review officially represent or make any official statements on behalf of Marriott International. This property is close to the hospital Anschutz campus. It is across the street from the children’s hospital, and the main entrance for the main hospital is west of the children’s hospital, so the location is one of the reasons I chose to stay there. For someone who lives in the area, it is convenient for using the public transportation system. However, they do have complimentary overnight self-parking for guests with a vehicle. This makes it convenient for multiple demographics of people. While I was alone for this trip, it is also an affordable place to stay overnight for both individuals and families, because, if you have a family, the rooms are spacious enough for multiple people. I usually stay at higher-end hotels, but this hotel offers a similar level of staff service while also offering a complimentary breakfast included in the room rate. I knew I had to be up early in the morning, so it was nice having a high quality buffet breakfast that compared to some of the higher end places I have stayed. I loved the scrambled eggs so much that I got a second serving of them. It was also nice being able to quickly grab something to eat. I used the wake-up call system as a backup to my alarm; it worked well. I had an early morning appointment at the hospital, so it was great having the wake-up call and the breakfast (which was ready when I arrived a few minutes before the official opening time). Then, I asked if I could checkout and leave my bag somewhere, and the front desk held my bag for me. This was convenient because checkout time was noon, but I did not need the room that long. It allowed me to grab my bag and go about my day. The team at this property treated me well and took great care of me both times I have stayed there.

We made a reservation over the phone and arrived on the 25th of April 2022. At check in the staff could not find the reservation and told me they were over booked and turned away myself, my wife, and two small children. After reviewing my credit card statement I found that I was still charged the 133 dollars for the stay. After calling the hotel to speak to the manager (Maria and sales manager Anthony) they found my charge and gave the explanation that corporate changed my reservation name and I was charged a no show. The solution that they gave was for me to dispute it with my credit card company. I stay at Marriott's all over the country for work and travel and I've never met such a rude staff. I'm not sure how they can charge for services that they didn't provide, seems like fraud. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Children's Hospital since our daughter was having a procedure the next day. This issue still hasn't been resolved at this point. If I could give zero rating I would.

Had an extended stay for family in the hospital. Staff is VERY friendly and helpful. We were surprised that the room only had enough towels for 2 people...or...just 1 wife...my wife. No problem. Staff gave us extra towels and a blanket (-5 outside) for my wife. Breakfast was quite tasty. A "Typical" hotel breakfast (Cheddar jalapeno muffins ROCK!!) but one kick...the lady stocking and cleaning is so amazing. If there is something you need and ask for, she accommodates with a genuine smile. Lounge is very comfortable. Bed was very comfortable...med soft... and pillows range in thickeness....which I love. Pool is indoor. There was quite a strong odor of chlorine...but then...most indoor pools do. No hot tub. Laundry is 3 washer/3 dryers and cost $2 per machine. I didn't notice any detergent or dryer sheets available. Could've missed it. Only complaint...and this is truly a 1st world problem...1 ice machine on the 1st floor...but not far from the elevator. I was on the 4th floor. Again....NOT a big deal. Would certainly return to this hotel!!

We had a really nice (quick) stay here. As long as you are not looking for a place with a swimming pool (this hotel has one, but is the size of two or three hot tubs), then you should be fine. See picture I posted of the pool if you are curious. Our family was extremely happy with the variety and quality of the breakfast offerings. Would definitely stay there again.

There was no service of the room. No re-stocking cofffee or removing rubbish. I spoke with the general manager to get the room cleaned after three days and despite her assurance that "she would personally make sure the room is servied today" the rubbish is still there. No clean towels. same linen. no coffee. This is like staying in a hostel. Not acceptable for a Marriott branded facility.

Us along with hundreds of others had our flights cancelled out of Denver airport. It was after midnight, and we used our Bonvoy app to secure a room at Springhill Suites. Well, the computer allowed the hotel to oversell the rooms, so they did not have a room for us when we arrived. However, the two customer service reps working the desk called in housekeeping reinforcements and managed to get us a room about 40 minutes later. The room was clean and very well maintained. I loved the new shower and sinks. The bed was super comfy. Oh, and breakfast was delicious.

Great location. Rooms were on par with what you'd expect at a Spring Hill Marriott. The lounge area was nicer than most and this is also where they hosted breakfast. 24-hour coffee was available in the lobby. This was within walking distance of the hospital and also several restaurants (along a main road but there was a sidewalk). It was pretty loud in the room though with car/truck noise. My only real concern was that the room was not ready at the check-in time and they seemed to accommodate people who checked in later than I did. The desk associate said that it was in order of room type availability but it seemed to be more related to who asked 3-4 times. Other than that, everything was fine.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean, and it was in a decent location. Only thing I had an issue with was the hot water in the shower to am unusual amount of time to heat up. I waited for a few minutes before it was hot enough to shower.

ADA Clients please do not rent from this hotel they are horrible and don't care about the disabled population!!!!! If I could give them zero stars I would.... This Hotel rented me a room that was supposed to American Disabilities Act correct. The room was located near the laundry room and during the entire stay the room shook to the point of waking me out of my sleep and startling me my heart was racing and I thought we were having an earthquake. I reported it immediately and was promised an refund and they denied the request. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH HERE.

Perfectly serviceable for an overnight stay. Had all the hallmarks for Marriott hotel. Rooms were clean and modern. Comfortable but not fancy. I wasn't wild about how the bathroom is separated. But I suppose in an extended stay context it makes sense. Great stay at a great price.

The hotel staff were terrific and the rooms were very nice. Everything was clean. The location of the hotel was convenient, with the hospital complex being right across the street. There was a shuttle service available to take us wherever we needed to go in a 3 mile radius. The area of E. Colfax is still going through some cleanup, but all in all, we had a very nice stay.

Hotel experiences have truly taken a nosedive. Why doesn’t the elevators work in this hotel? I am disabled and there were no signs on the elevators to indicate that they were inoperable. One was already out but to have two not working in a hotel is ridiculous. The front desk staff were nice and polite but this made me highly upset.

We had a great stay. The hotel is very quiet and clean. Breakfast was great. We LOVE that the shower and toilet are in separate rooms, make traveling so much more convenient

We just stayed this week. The rooms are neat and clean but couldn’t get maid service. Breakfast would have been good but was cold every time. Staff was really good. It is just across the street from children’s hospital

We stayed at the Springhill Suites Anschutz for 7 days. Our overall experience was poor. The manager was rude and argumentative and the place appeared to be understaffed. That said, Hayden, Anthony, MJ, and Richard helped to the best of their ability. Some specifics: Online check in said service every other day and promised a text when our room was ready. When we checked in physically, we were told service every third day and the text arrived after we got to our room. Our room was not serviced on our third day so the night desk clerk brought us some fresh towels. Our room was not serviced on the fourth day and a different night desk clerk brought us a full set of towels and bed linens. The next morning the manager, Heather Etheridge, told us that this was a limited-service hotel. Strangely, I can’t find that on the hotel web page. The hotel web page does promise a “Full American and Hot Breakfast” which, depending on your definition, it meets. In our 7 mornings there we generally chose to eat elsewhere as the breakfast provided were either unappealing or over cooked. In our room there is supposed to be a three-panel glass partition over the desk separating that part of the suite from the bed. Ours was missing two of the pieces. We also had one of the bedside reading lights that didn’t work. There are several signs asking patrons to help the hotel be green by hanging up towels (instead of throwing them on the floor to wait for our every third day of service). However, there is only one hook in the bathroom that is supposed to hold all our towels.

My 12 year old son requires very strong pain medication because of his disease. The cleaning staff on duty 11/10/2023 either stole or threw it out. We headed to the hospital at 11Am and by 11:51am I had returned to retrieve the medication that should have still been in the refrigerator. It was in a small lunch pale inside the refrigerator. I was told it wasn’t in the room and that the cleaning staff would not have thrown it away. So I say again the staff either STOLE it or threw it away and lied about it. I get it I should not have forgotten anything important in the room, but 51 minutes after checking out and very important medication is no where to be found? Oh to top it off they strongly insinuated that I must have misplaced it. Never staying here again.

This hotel has seen better days. The staff was friendly and professional, and the layout of my room was fine. However, my gripe list is long: -Large stains on rugs in room, hallways, and elevators. -Brown and red mildew spots in shower. -No maid service on second day. Had to call to get it the next day. Didn’t happen again, so I called again. They still did not come, so I had no maid service during a four night stay even with calling the front desk and housekeeping. (I had requested maid service on alternating days at online check in, rather than none, which is also a crock.) -No facial tissues in the dispenser. -Shampoo dispenser was pulled off of the shower wall. Adhesive residue on the shower wall was evidence that other dispensers had also been there. -Dim lighting in mirror over main sink and inadequate corner mirror over sink in water closet. -There was a small package of antiseptic wipes by the bed, but they had obviously been opened. I am not sure if they came from the hotel or the last occupant.

So me and my family were in town for my sons cleft surgery, scheduled and reserved our nights. We ended up having to stay in the hospital, and cancelling our reserved nights. But staff and managers assured us on how important our son is not to only us but there staff, and made us feel at complete ease by canceling our nights without any problems or charges we didn’t need to stress about. This is an amazing establishment and me and my family are thankful for what they have done for us tonight!

This place is AWESOME! My mom had surgery at UC Health. The hotel staff was so helpful in room assignments and flexibility not to mention the rooms are well laid out, very clean, great showers and the breakfast was good. Thank you Javier, Trimika and the whole staff was wonderful

This hotel stay was amazing. The front desk staff was very friendly. Even the GM Javier made an effort to be present and ensure we were being taken care of. Made the checkin process so smooth. After a long day my kiddos were happy to see a fairly empty indoor pool to dip into. Breakfast the following day had a great variety for the whole family as well. The entire hotel appeared very clean and well kept. Thank you to the whole staff and GM! We will definitely be back in the future!

I was ready to give this place 4-5 stars, but boy did that changed after the last couple days (of almost two weeks staying there). Besides being very noisy with slamming doors due to inconsiderate guests, my car was stolen from their parking lot. Apparently, car break-ins & stealing is extremely common in the area. Especially for people staying there for a long period of time. My dad was using my car because my mom was in the hospital for about 10 days after having major surgery and it was easier for him to use my car and easier for her to use after she was getting discharged. My car was found and was at impound but my dad had to go and identify it. He offered them $100 to have the shuttle take him to and from the impound because he couldn't get a rental car until a few hours later. They refused, despite the fact that the car was stolen in their parking lot. I would not recommend this place at all die to the fact that car jacking is extremely frequent in that area. No, there were no cabs available for several hours and Uber is worthless to try and use. I do however understand those who may have loved ones in the hospital need somewhere close. So if you have to use this place make sure you take EVERYTHING out of your car. Apparently, another gentleman had his rental car broken into at that hotel and the next day got a new rental car and it was broken into again. This is just not a safe place for cars, so please be safe when being at this location because staff sure doesn't give flip about you either. Even when offering money.

GOOD: Front desk was helpful, bed was comfortable, interior was relatively new, location is excellent. BAD: Housekeeping was not good. The towels and washcloths in my room were dirty but folded to look clean. Bedding smelled strongly of bleach. There were dark smears and hairs sticking to the bathroom walls. Carpet was grimey (why does a modern hotel even have carpet?).

Loved staying at the Springhill Suites! Staff was kind and welcoming. I was exhausted after a holiday trip with my two young children, and they made sure to get our room ready quickly. Room was clean, and had nice accommodations. Loved the complimentary breakfast as we headed out to the airport! Will come again!

Accommodating to the areas, has a unique concession stand as soon as you walk in. There is seating around the back bar near the far right side as soon as you enter. The front desk always has someone ready to speak to or ask about any needs. They have television on in the main waiting room which also has volume. My son Kingston and I have been in there multiple times even just to have a change of scenery and a nice walk around our home to enjoy different places for him. Guests have always been friendly and never shooed us away. I love this place.

We had an appointment at Children's and got in at 2 in the morning because of a road closures and was met by Joshua, the best nite host ever! His friendly smile and pleasant demeanor was just fantastic! He talked to our daughter and made her smile, which meant a lot to us! Thank you!

Love the layout and location of this hotel. Stayed many times over the years but in the past year has gone downhill. This past weekend only 1 towel and hard to get more for 3 people in a room. Room dirty and no cleaning even though there policy says they will. Staff not very interested in helping.
