Will definitely be back this is one of the Raddest places to stay in the Springs. Everyone is so friendly, and the 420 patio is amazing and I made some fantastic friends there. Room was nice and clean and had tons of space. They have different hang out places and are super helpful with questions. Would have stayed longer if we could. The patio is also painted by an artist who stays there on occasion. there's a fire pit and they do different events too. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away and relax and make awesome friends.

    - everything was terribly filthy. After the shower in the hub I even felt more dirtier than before. - the towels and bed sheets were used! Found multiple hairs on it! - we were literally freezing the whole night. 68 F without any heating possibilities and only a really thin blanket as covers. - no curtains. It was bright in the room whole night (photo attached). Couldn’t sleep at all (also because it was soooo cold) - noisy - the whole place smells very uncomfortable - parking in front of the room not possible - room was really small. Our luggage barely fitted in. + the only thing good was the breakfast and the possibility to cook We had the most horrible experience there. Really a mystery to me why this place have such a good review.

Spent 3 nights here and I had a superb experience. I have never stayed at a hostel before and will say that I will be finding hostels in other cities. When I’m back to Colorado Springs I know I will return here. I had everything I needed here for my stay to be comfortable. I had great interactions with the staff and shoutout to Brian for providing me info on what to do in the city as well as being extremely open to conversation anytime of the day.

I had the most lovely stay here! It was my first time at a hostel and the staff immediately made me feel so comfortable and welcome, and there is the full atmosphere of a home away from home. The property is just wonderful, with plenty of areas to lounge and play and talk and eat. There was a campfire burning in the back when we arrived surrounded by people having a good time, and hanging chairs that I highly recommend spinning and swinging on (!) as well as hammocks and couches. In addition, slacklines and an assortment of games provided plenty of things to do, and though I came here to visit the parks nearby, I ended up enjoying my time in this area just as much. There were hot pancakes in the morning and the dining area is filled with homey touches and inspiration, and everyone is comfortable. Thank you to the people who made this such a wonderful place to be. 💜

Really glad I stopped through here. Impromptu stay on my way back north after hiking up in the mountains and just wanted to clean up and get some good sleep. Turned out I stumbled into a gem of a hostel! Love the back yard with the layout hammock and the fire pit and garden. I was busy with meetings during my short stay and didn't get to interact much with the people, but all the staff I talked with and brief conversations I had with guests all gave me a great feeling of being welcomed. I camped in a parking spot but when using the facilities the beds looked nice and clean, and the breakfast/kitchen area and all the different little indoor and outdoor lounge areas were really great! I'm definitely stopping in again when I'm in the area. So glad I gave this place a visit.

Fabulous facilities and staff! The room was clean and comfortable, great bed and shower/bathroom. AC was great!Kitchen facilities had everything you’d want to cook your meals. Breakfast was provided 715-10 daily. I did quite a bit of cooking in the full size kitchen with digital stove top burners and air fryer! Great outdoor spaces with lovely fire pit and hammocks! I enjoyed swinging and relaxing in the hammock! Meeting other guests was fun! The staff Eugene, Eleanor, Richard, Joshua, Gabby, Nikki, Victoria, Valentina, and a few more all made the experience delightful! They were all so friendly, helpful and kind!

I booked this Hostel last min coming from Arizona.. this place has exceeded my expectations! Joshua was SO wonderful. The staff here go above & beyond all the way down to the cleaning staff. They have helped my stay here in Colorado be as safe and comfortable as possible. There are plenty of places to hangout and the ambiance is VERY RELAXING! Bunk mates make the experience unique as they are usually traveling! Mine was from GERMANY!!! The owner is sweet, and who doesn’t love a friendly smile! 😃 I can’t wait to come back and bring my son here to visit! Thank you for the RADventure! ❤️

As a housekeeper myself, I have to say that the quality of service here was excellent. Linens were extremely clean, the entire atmosphere of the place was welcoming and relaxed. Front desk gave my friend and I a tour of the place before leading us to our room. Blankets, towels and pillows were all standard of course. The bathroom was very clean. While we only stayed one night and didn't get the chance to partake in them, there are nightly events which rotate throughout the week. Again, an excellent atmosphere with great people. I highly recommend this to anyone and for the price of a motel it's impossible to beat.

More than just a room! Family. I volunteered here for a month and found not only a clean and comfortable place to stay but I found an amazing culture of employees and volunteers that made it feel like home! The owner Erin is extremely caring and detail orientated! She has activities planned during the week for guests including bonfires, game nights and pancake breakfasts! If you're just looking for a quiet place to stay in a great location this is the place! If you're looking for community and a place to meet interesting people, this is also the place for you! If you choose to stay here you will be well taken care of and well informed of all the amazing things Colorado Springs has to offer! This hostel is more than just a room, it's a family! Thank you Erin, Mo and volunteers for an unforgettable stay! 10/10.

Awesome place! The bed was comfortable and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I enjoyed chatting with the other folk staying there at the complimentary breakfast. The yard is great, with games, activities, and a fire pit. They have bicycles available to check out, too! Try this place out!

Very memorable experience! I stayed mid July. I think I met and connected with over 10 people, fun the whole time. Great place to stay if you want to meet people. I enjoyed my visit the first night so much that I extended my stay one more night. I hope to come back at some point in the future. THANK YOU!

I was looking for an inexpensive place to shower and sleep the evening after climbing Pike's Peak and this place was exactly what I needed. It was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. At check-in, after I mentioned that I'd been hiking that day, Lisa switched around which dorm room I was staying in so I could have a bottom bunk and didn't have to try to climb a ladder (I'm not sure I would have made it). The breakfast area in the morning was great! There were plenty of ingredients to make a hot breakfast or cereal and toast if you wanted something quick. I will absolutely stay here again if my plans take me back to the Colorado Springs area!

Clean, chill, value. I am so pleasantly surprised by the quality of my stay here. The staff were kind and friendly. I received a courtesy call the day of my stay and a tour of the facilities when I arrived. I stayed in the dorms for only ~$40 a night. I was happy to see that the room was clean and the bathroom was immaculate. I was given some fresh linens for my bunk and slept comfortably. The next morning I enjoyed some complimentary coffee and pancakes. I brought my own pillow, but my bunk had two ready for me. I also brought a towel, which I advise you do as well (but they do sell them if you don't).

Never have stayed in a hostel before, so it was so fun to try something new-and so pleased we did. Know this is an old motel and run down in a funky area. BUT… a private room with own bath for two for $52 is such a bargain. The linens are super clean as is the bathroom. The real treat is the common areas. We watched movies two evenings and got to eat with fabulous folks every morning. The kitchen has every/anything you could possibly need to make a lovely breakfast - all the supplies are there! Delicious hot coffee is always available. And, the kitchen is clean and bright. Thank you Leah and Elaine - you are both so charming and helpful! We wish you all our best for the wonderful futures we know you will live! Karen and Tammie (California grandmas :) P.S. If you run cold, ask for extra blanket/s when you check in. As well, ask for a portable heater then, too. Our room was toasty after we did!

Hands down one of the best hostel experiences I have had in my travels. The staff was incredible. Polite, helpful and genuinely fun to be around. The place was spotless. You could perform surgery in that kitchen it was so clean. I paid for a private room. So I didn't get the full sleeping with strangers experience this go. My private room was spotless. It had three beds with room for 4. (Sweet bunk beds and a queen) For what I paid. I felt like I was taking advantage of them. Best deal around. Thank you to the RAD staff for how awesome you were/are. I said I would be back. I ment it. For those looking at reviews. Take my word. If you want a cool chill place with an incredible staff with clean well kept spaces. Stay here!!!!! I fell in love with it. You will too!!!! Thanks RAD much love from Kansas!!! Phil & his side kick. Matt. ❤️❤️🥓

Great place. Independent youth hostel , very nice hostel. Staff was helpful, ambiance is relaxed. Rooms are nice and clean. Clean bedding after check-in. Breakfast is great and they provide eggs to cook as you like them (by yourself ). Feels like European youth hostel with social spots and shared kitchen and else. Pretty good for all ages .

The experience here is definitely interesting. The staff was courteous and showed us around the territory. The place as a lot to offer, with a great outdoor hangout area. The complementary breakfast pancakes were amazing! The girl cooking them was very polite and welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked and we even had access to the good eggs they had in the fridge. On the downside, we did not buy into the hippy/ new age lifestyle that the management was promoting, and the blasphemous language that some of the workers were using toward Christian ethics. The rooms were a little short of a Motel 6. We had to keep our windows closed till the 420 crowd finished their rituals, while enjoying the loud A/C before bed. Also, creaky bunk beds were a little short of comfortable.

Rooms were handled great (very clean) but a bit old. Shared kitchen is great and has a lot of kitchenware. Stuff were great, helped us with recommendations. Location is on the highway which makes it ideal for travel but a bit noisy at night.

Had a fantastic stay. Met visitors at the free breakfast ranging from Belgium, Spain, Germany, and all over the US. Staff were very helpful and communicative with great tips for places to eat and explore. Rented a bike, helmet, and lock out for free and rode over to Garden of the Gods. Everything is clean and well organized. Friday S'mores night was a must. It was my first Hostel experience and hands-down would recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay and meet new people! Thank you to Eleanor and Roberto for all your help!

Amazing place! The staff are so friendly, they really adopt you as one of their own. The owner is insanely knowledgeable about everything ranging from public transit options to sites depending on your interests. The location is perfect, seemingly equidistant from pikes peak, garden of the gods and many other beautiful natural sites and hikes. They have wonderful daily evening activities such as bonfires, movie nights and game nights, and the free bike rental really came in handy.

Highly recommend! The staff was friendly and accommodating and it was pretty nice. They had a bonfire and s’mores one night and it was cool to get to meet new people from all over and hangout. My friend and I stayed in a room with one bunk bed and the room was clean and a good for the 2 of us and the common areas were clean and nice. Overall a great experience I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay and have a good time in Colorado Springs

This is a perfect location for all things Colorado Springs. The friendly and worldly atmosphere made for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this spot for the traveler, adventurer, families, vanlifers, gypsies, and groups who want a community atmosphere in an outdoor themed destination. Thanks for the awesome service and smiles! 😀 👍

The staff here are phenomenal. The pancake breakfast is a wonderful thing to have. The bonfire at night, the sense of community here is amazing. When I come here, I feel like I get treated like a person, and not just another dollar sign to the bank.

Staff is super friendly and accommodating. The rooms are pretty nice, have everything you need. Location is in a "rougher" area, but very close to Manitou, the incline and Garden of the Gods.

What a fun place to stay! People who work there are very friendly, and you meet a lot of people from all over who share their travel journey. Rooms are basic, but there is a lounge and welcoming kitchen area. Overall a wonderful experience.

This was my first time visiting a hostel and the ColoRADo Adventure Hostel left a lasting impression. To describe this location succinctly, this place is summer camp for adults. The staff were incredibly welcoming, the rooms were clean, and I met tons of kind new people who were on their own adventures. This hostel is something special, don't sleep on the opportunity to add some adventure to your vacation.

Great stay at the ColoRADo Adventure Hostel! Room was clean and comfortable, friendly check-in, great community spaces, and pancake breakfast on weekend mornings! We'll stay again any time we're traveling to Colorado Springs.

Really fun hostel with lots of nice common areas! Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and comfy. Kitchen also super clean and modern. Location is great with plenty of adventures to be had within a short distance.

I would’ve never imagined my experience being so amazing. The staff was incredibly welcoming! I stayed in a comunal female room, but it had everything I needed and there was plenty of chilling areas. I can’t forget about breakfast. Seriously, they had everything. Eggs, milk, cereals and the best damn pancakes. Meeting new people is an added bonus, amazing to hear other peoples adventures. Will go back for sure. Don’t expect luxury, it’s a hostal but one of the best ones by far!

  • 5/5 Carolina S. 1 year ago on Google
I absolutely loved this place. It’s a really chill space. The fact the rooms have their own entrance it’s really dynamic. Everything is very clean and organized. They respect your food in the fridge and your welcome to have pancakes in the breakfast during the weekdays.

  • 2/5 Michael R. 2 years ago on Google
The staff were amazing and friendly. The check-in process was easy. The room was very clean. Pricing very reasonable. I hate giving this place 2 out of 5 stars, but my room was unbearably cold!! I stayed in the private room #2. I can usually handle sleeping in as cold as 60 degrees F, so it must have been much lower than that (I didn't have a way of measuring the room's temperature). There was no adjustable heater, just an air conditioner with a "cool" setting. I heard the "heat" kick on through the ventilation roughly every 15 minutes, but it must have bypassed my room or something! I used the thin white sheet and the thin blanket provided, but I ended up putting my pants, shirt, socks, AND jacket on (I usually sleep naked). It still didn't help. I think the staff mentioned I could get an extra blanket, but I went to bed after their office closed... After a night of basically no sleep, I was extremely relieved to find the shower water to at least be nice and hot.

Stayed for two days while my daughter toured Colorado College and we hiked in the area. Great accommodations, amazing people, fantastic energy. My daughter gives props to the hammocks in the back yard and the blueberry pancakes someone was cooking up on our last morning there. Highly recommended.

Excellent choice! The staff is hard-working, attentive and communicative. The hostel is clean, inviting and comfortable. Accommodations were well maintained and the amenities aplenty; a stocked kitchen, continental breakfast, streaming services, games, laundry, corn hole and more! Thank you for bridging the gap in my journey to a new home!

  • 4/5 Jarral R. 2 years ago on Google
Nice enough for a hostel. The rooms are "fixed" up old motel rooms so not new. Beds, sheets towels were clean. Looks like in the summer it is probably busier. The common rooms looked nice. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies, clean and had eggs milk/almond cereal bread and English muffins available. They may make pancakes sometimes. Kind of on the sketchier side of the Springs but all was good. Odd check in 5 to 9 pm.

Great place, will most likely stay here again next time I visit. ((This place has a lot more to offer than a Motel 6.)) Friendly staff! Note: pet-friendly to service animals only. For all guests staying at the hostel, there’s a common area “living room” with a TV, a kitchen, a laundry room, coffee and cereals available for breakfast, 2 seated patio areas (1 non-smoking, 1 smoking), and a large yard with a hammock and chairs. Rooms have mini fridges and microwaves. Bathrooms have handsoap, and generic shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. Struck up a conversation with other outgoing guests on the patio my first night and enjoyed my stay!

Well, I have no other hostel to compare it to. Definitely an interesting strip of town. Some odd aromas in several community areas. There's a 420, 21 and over area. Required ID for every adult. Nice enough hosts. No thermostat in the room. Breakfast was very basic.

  • 4/5 Anna L. 2 years ago on Google
Surprisingly awesome! I must say cleaning is not their strong suit but for the cheap price and great energy I still give it 4 stars. Wouldn’t stay there with children but for adults it’s great. It was a bit chilly at night even with a portable heater. Very nice staff.
