My
wife
and
I
were
in
town
over
Thanksgiving
and
wanted
to
try
the
Pearl
since
my
sister
recommends
it.
I’m
not
kidding
when
I
say
this
-
it
was
the
best
restaurant
food
either
of
us
could
remember
eating.
We
shared
the
beef
Pad
Thai,
the
pineapple
fried
rice,
and,
upon
the
recommendation
of
the
guy
taking
our
order,
the
chicken
coconut
soup.
The
only
drawback
was
that,
because
they
were
short
staffed,
we
couldn’t
enjoy
the
nice
atmosphere
of
the
sweet-smelling
dining
area,
so
we
ate
in
our
car.
Eating
in
our
car
was
a
small
price
to
pay
for
this
flavor
explosion.
I
would
eat
the
beef
pad
thai
and
coconut
soup
in
a
public
restroom
if
I
had
to.
The
pad
thai
and
pineapple
fried
rice
were
so
good,
but
the
coconut
soup…
I’m
not
kidding,
I’ve
never
tasted
anything
like
it.
I
can’t
explain
what
was
in
the
soup,
and
I’m
not
always
the
most
adventurous
eater,
but
it
didn’t
matter
-
it
was
amazing.
The
portions
were
huge,
the
people
were
friendly,
the
prices
were
reasonable.
I
will
be
headed
back
on
my
next
trip
to
Colorado.
