We love Lucile's. My husband grew up in Florida and said this is the best southern breakfast restaurant in Colorado. The portions are huge, food is always delicious, we love the house spiced tea, and the homemade condiments are always delicious.

This fabulous restaurant has gone above and beyond in adapting to Covid. Kudos y'all! Eating outside in an ice shanty with a propane heater at our feet was a new one! The food was just as incredible as ever. Hanks eggs all the way. Thank you!

I don't live in the area, but I would certainly visit more often if I were. Their beignets are to die for! Absolutely delicious! I also got their praline waffle with a side of their country ham steak. It was a good portion and definitely filled me up with leftovers to take with me. Service was fantastic even on a busy weekend. Bathroom was a little small, I was afraid of getting hit by the door while washing my hands, but other than that, if I'm in the Fort Collins area again, will definitely have to come back here!

Super quaint restaurant with fun and energetic staff. Amazing Cajun style food that made us feel like we were in Nawlins. The biscuits are gigantic and the salmon was perfect. Fun drinks.

"Five stars! We had the pleasure of enjoying the best breakfast we've ever had in Fort Collins, Colorado at Lucile’s. Our server, Julianna, was an absolute delight. Her warm smile and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. She provided exceptional service, ensuring our every need was met and going above and beyond to make our dining experience truly outstanding. The food was simply divine. From the perfectly cooked eggs to the deliciously fresh beignets, every bite was a burst of flavor. The menu had a wide variety of options to choose from, catering to all tastes and preferences. The cozy atmosphere added to the charm of the restaurant, creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment. Without a doubt, we highly recommend this place for the best breakfast experience in Fort Collins. Kudos to Julianna and the entire team for their dedication and commitment to providing an unforgettable dining experience!"

Great spot for lunch, I have only been for lunch, so far. Prepare to wait for a table, a popular place and worth the wait. Preferred choices: Andouille Po'boy, Hank's eggs, eggs Benedict, crawfish etouffee, biscuits or cornbread, and of course beignets Kid friendly: They will half any of the breakfast items for a kid's meal. This place definitely has a small diner feel with a busy and slightly loud atmosphere. The wait staff is quick and friendly. Highly recommend!

I must have visited on a bad day or I am just confused with what good food is supposed to be, which is unlikely, considering I've lived and travelled to quite a few countries great cities in the world. Suffice it to say, disappointed and would have to be dragged back to this place to spend my money or fill my belly with their food. We went early for breakfast, around 8 AM on a Friday, and the place wasn't crowded. The menu and photos online looked exciting, so we really wanted to try it out some day, and since they aren't open for dinner, it's been a hard ask. My wife and I ordered the beignets for starter - nice, I will take it ..fried dough with sugar powder. Nothing to be too excited about, but they were OK. I ordered the Eggs Sardou, as pictured. Came without the advertised biscuit, which is fine by me. Eggs were rubbery, the hollandaise sauce not flavorful. I mean I love egg Benedict, and they aren't hard to make, but somehow they'd managed to make them so bland, that I didn't finish the 1st one and didn't touch the second. The grits were great, though. Creamed spinach - again rather flavorless. The shrimp were a mix of tiny overcooked ones and very mediocre med-sized one,...just boiled, no flavor to them really. My wife's breakfast choice was probably even worse. She had Eggs Jennifer and it was again, same poorly done eggs Benedict with rough, flavorless hollandaise but all sitting on a mound of fresh, rough spinach, not even sautéed, seasoned or shown any love - just straight out of those big Costco spinach bags, perhaps. Tomatoes were flavorless as well. The star of the show were the potatoes - truly great and no complaints there. So overall, a very mediocre ~$45 breakfast that we ate way less than half of our respective portions. Not sure what all the hype/great reviews are about but I do not plan on coming back, as much as I'd love to have a staple of loved, often-visited places in FoCo...but so far, very slim pickings.

Such a beautiful and authentic little restaurant - the atmosphere was buzzing and really friendly. I was loving the music and decor - it definitely felt like we were in New Orleans! All the food is homemade, fresh, and unpretentious. The biscuits and gravy are perfectly done and we really enjoyed our breakfasts. I had the Eggs Sardou and a side of bacon.

Service was kind and quick. The waffle was great and their buscuit was massive. However their house tea was like the cinnamon challenge. 😋 not a fan of spoon fulls of cinnamon, but if thats your jam, try the house tea.

We shared the fresh made beignets that were great. My breakfast (over easy eggs, hot link and grits) was also delicious and I really enjoyed the Cajun Mary! I will definitely go back next time I'm in Fort Collins.

I come to Colorado to eat at Luciles, I mean visit my family…. I always order the same thing, start with beignets and fresh juice, then farmers eggs with avocado. I always leave full happy and full of memories of all the times I’ve enjoyed a meal here with friends, family or a good book. I have to say I do not love the coffee here, but I know it has a huge following, I think it’s just my taste buds. If you’re in the area debating about where to have breakfast or brunch, this is the place you want to go. Be prepared for a wait because everyone knows how good it is!!!

This place is fantastic! i tried to fresh orange juice as well as the beignets, and it was amazing. For my meal, i got the french toast, and it was cooked wonderfully. Everyone at my table loved what they got. It was definitely expensive for breakfast, so this place is more of a treat than a usual spot but would highly recommend trying it.

I fell in love with this place when I wound up eating in the Denver(ish) location about a decade ago I was elated to see they had a Fort Collins location on my visit home so I took my sister out for brunch and wasn't disappointed 💖 Food quality is still absolutely fantastic, the staff is kind and helpful, and the drinks are great Just a heads up on the drinks, they use natural orange juice so they may not taste as sweet as most other places, but still awesome. I got to try out their new spiked chai (same thing on sweetness) and thoroughly enjoyed it! Pictured: Mimosa Cuban OJ Spiked Chai Biscuit with gravy

Fantastic little restaurant. I ordered the Carlin County and my wife ordered the Pain Perdu. Both were excellent. That wait staff was very prompt and attentive and the atmosphere was amazing. Loved the music also!

Enrolling daughter @ CSU and was told to go here by a friend who lives in the area. OMG. This place is the best breakfast place. Kat was an outstanding server and very helpful explaining a few of the dishes. Seriously, don't miss visiting here if you are in town. Yummy yummy!!

Had a great breakfast here at Lucile's. Never been here before today and loved it. Staff was friendly. Food was tasty. I got the french toast and it had some great unique twists that made it super special. Would definitely go back.

Lucile's is so goooood! The Eggs Jennifer with ham and Eggs Ponchartrain are so delicious. Definitely a biscuit and gravy is a must and the beignets are so warm and perfectly soft. You can't go wrong with their spiced iced tea either. Victoria took care of us on this visit and she is amazing! We love you, Lucile's!

But this review doesn't matter. Lucille's is such a popular place, it's nearly impossible to get into without a waiting period. The service is excellent, with a friendly staff that seemed genuinely happy and interested in helping with any questions. We thought the food was good, but not amazing. I think this is more a place for the pleasant atmosphere and friendly people.

One of the things I miss most about living in Fort Collins is coming here regularly so I had to make a point to stop in while visiting. I always enjoy the Cajun breakfast with a few of my own modifications as well as a HUGE homemade biscuit with orange marmalade. I usually go for the Bloody Mary but decided to get a classic OJ mimosa this go around. The food and drinks never disappoint. We went early on a Thursday morning and were seated right away.

The wait to get seated was way longer than it should have been. The manager of this place needs to be fired they obviously cant properly staff the restaurant and expect the waitress to buss tables host and wait on guest! The girls working here look overworked and under payed. Secondly the food was not even worth it. If you enjoy your food with only salt and pepper seasoning or no seasoning at all than YES this is the place for you! Forget flavor town welcome to Flavorless village! Skip this place! Price does not equal quality. My food wasn’t even cooked properly. I was served raw and cooked spinach for my EGGs Jennifer. The only seasoning on my plate was the table salt I added.

One word....AWESOME. Best creole breakfast outside of NOLA. I could eat there everyday. Great food but service can be a little slow so have patience.

  • 5/5 Neph 2 years ago on Google
This is my comfort food. Every opportunity I have to get brunch here, I'll take. It is the closest thing I've found to NOLA next to actually being there. They've branched out from the original location which is amazing because I stumbled upon it 2 hours outside of Denver and still got my fix.
