Visited 7/3. Restaurant was nearly empty, however extremely slow service. Because of the event in Belmar that night, you would think they would staff up knowing there would be lots of people nearby. Tables were not cleared after people left, so we were seated near a table covered in half eaten plates and dirt napkins, which was kind of gross. Took over an hour to get our food. Side of Fries was so small for 6$, fried pickels were pretty good, pretzel bites were delicious! Buffalo chicken mac and cheese was good, pretty spicy. :) Waters never got refilled. Host at front was somewhat rude to visitors, and repeatedly turned people away stating they were "all out of everything" but then let in a few large parties (6+ people). Very odd. Later heard the same host telling people there was no dish washer, no cook, no wait staff. Really unfortunate experience, would not return, would not recommend.

Very great service , amazing atmosphere and delicious food and drinks. We always enjoy our time here.

Their brunch is honestly great, and you cannot beat $10 bottomless mimosas within the Denver metro. However, the absolute best part was our server Milynda C. She was so kind, attentive, and had a great sense of humor. I'm not even kidding when I say she was one of the best servers I've ever had. And no, I'm not related or a friend that's trying to make her look great. Just a very happy customer! (The mimosas may also play a role in this review :P) To management, you've got a great employee. Treat her right and give her a raise if you can! :)

I visited this restaurant with friends on a Sunday around 2 pm. The place was fairly empty, and we ordered the sangria pitcher, which offered good value. While the food was decent, it didn't leave a lasting impression. One of my friends ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, but the cheese wasn't properly melted. We informed the waitress, who promptly fixed the issue. Speaking of the service, our waitress was a bit slow and didn't check on us frequently, despite the restaurant's emptiness. It's a suitable spot for meeting friends in the area, but I'm doubtful I'll return due to the overall experience.

Came in for burger night and sat at the bar with Cody and Cierra. They had good recommendations. We enjoyed everything from drinks to meals! Will be back next week :)

The waitress was nice but we rarely saw her, We had to get up several times and search for her or ask another waitress to get her for us. Ordered a drink that was taking forever so I went to the bar to ask about it and the barman/woman was the not just rude, she was hostel and couldn't be bothered to speak in a respectful way. I don't know how this place stays open. We waited and waited for the bill. We were tempted to just get up and walk out as the staff did not seem to care one way or the other. Save your time and money and go some place decent. This is not that place.

Ordered through Uber Eats & my gf got the grilled cheese and tomato soup. They forgot the cheese in the grilled cheese and this was the “soup”. We got a refund but still waited over an hour for this and ended up having to go back out, still had to leave the delivery driver a tip, and didn’t eat dinner together. How do you forgot the cheese in a grilled cheese? 😭😂

The food was pretty good but honestly the customer service could have been a little bit better. We sat at a table where some of the crew were hanging out and they were vaping inside so that was a bit annoying. Otherwise though, atmospheres really great food's pretty good. Definitely willing to give it a second shot honestly probably just caught it an off night

This is a mixed review. Staff was awesome. Seating outside was nice with the weather we had. Can’t speak to the food because we only had chips and salsa. But the menu was irritating if not downright frustrating. My wife tried to order four or five different drinks and was told that they don’t carry them. That wasn’t isolated to the beers menus it was also on the cocktail menu, that they were out. Sadly I think this might be eliminated from a happy hour stop because of the irritation created by not knowing what they had or getting our hopes up. One of our wonderful servers said they should run a sharpie through all the things that they don’t carry at this location. I think that might be a brilliant idea. I hope everybody else has a wonderful experience. The staff again was great.

Today 12 of us went to Bar Louie to celebrate my mother’s 87th birthday. Lauren was our server and she was amazing!!! She took the best care of us and everything was wonderful. She made go suggestion when struggling to make decisions and even though she was busy she took time to have a meaningful conversation with the birthday girl and take our photo together. Lauren ROCKS! We will definitely be back.

Service was awesome. Our bartender Cody took such good care of us and my fiance doesn't drink and gave her a Shirley temple while we watched broncos. Great experience. Give Cody a raise

Came here for cocktails after a birthday paint n'sip and the servers and bartenders were so sweet and attentive to our large group! We also loved the cute lowkey downtown area the bar was in.

A group of 6 of us went here on a Friday night for a casual dinner. It was as if they weren’t expecting people on a Friday night as they seemed short staffed and it was not very busy but we were understanding of the situation and knew we were going to need to be patient. We’re all very friendly and polite, but the overall experience would not have us coming back. It was almost an hour after we were seated before our order was taken. Fine it happens. The food was good and they had a deal for a free bottle of wine with ordering a certain combination of food which we did, and confirmed with the server we’d qualify for. We should have looked at the bill more closely, but had one person pay the bill so we missed that they still charged us the bottle of wine. We called after we left to speak with the manager that night, but they weren’t helpful and sounded drunk based on the inability to communicate or comprehend the situation. They said to come back and speak with the manager in the morning. We would have just gone somewhere else if we knew they wouldn’t be able to manage our table but we were a pretty easy table. Not the experience I’d ever want to go back for or bring anyone to.

I have always popped in from time to time out of convenience and on any given day the service is very hit or miss. Generally seems to be way under staffed especially in the bar. However in the past couple months when I visited, I had a really great experience with your server Maria, she was very upbeat and welcoming. It was a really nice shift from usually not being acknowledged at all. She has brought some life to Bar Louie! Maria gets a 5 ⭐️

Bad service and food. Host had us wait in the front for 10 minutes while she was chatting with other employees. went up to the bar to get silverware it was like we were invisible to the world.

i came in tonight with my husband and we had a nice server she kept out drinks and food coming even though it was packed and only 2 servers were working and 1 bartender was in the bar. she apologized for the wait and said she’s usually a host but is happy to help us out tonight and made our service really good regardless of how many other things she was doing great bar great experience and most of all great customer service! will be coming again on game night!

Our waitress was wonderful and we adored her! The drinks were also great as well as some of our food. (We were a group of 4). However I will say that the Mac and Cheese was definitely a boxed kind. Not Craft Macaroni and Cheese but one of the "fancier" ones... they list a whole lot of Cheese but it was crack-a-lackin! It was kind of bland and hardly cheesy...I would come back but I would never order that Mac again. Maybe that could be an improvement, also the fruit flies were terrible!

Here for only my second time. Happy hour is the best. Our server Jay was really sociable and kind. Snagged the best spot by the fireplace too.

Surprising Really Good! We were hungry, and with no hostess, seat yourself, seemed a bit frazzled, however, Isaías was an excellent server, drinks were tasty and the food was delicious!

Absolutely, horrible service and blatant lies by an employee named Alex. On 7/3, my friends and I went over to Bar Louie's around 10 PM. A kind female bartender asked us what we would like, but then came over to apologize saying that a manager asked her to stop serving since everything was low (including staff and alcohol) because they didn't know the Belmar drone show was occurring. She kindly denied a request for even 1 drink. As we went to leave, two females were entering and asking Alex if they could come in for a drink. My friends and I both heard him say "no" and give them the same valid explanation. Unfairly, he still let them come in and served them a drink at the bar. I confronted Alex about this explaining how we came into the bar prior and were denied. How it was unquestionably unfair to treat others differently. Alex then claimed they were on a waiting list, which seemed like a blatant lie since we had overheard their previous conversation. He could have rectified the situation and offered us to come back for a drink. But rather became defensive and said he had never told other bar tenders to stop serving. This is not acceptable to deny certain customers, but bend the rules for others. I would appreciate it if you'd be able to set some time aside for us to chat. I'm very disappointed at this unfair treatment. Furthermore, I emailed the manager 4 days ago with no response yet. This isn't my first experience here either. The other time was average. Unfortunately, the employee was new and accidentally got the menu prices wrong for vegetarian burgers. My friend ended up paying full price instead of the Tuesday deal.

Had the pleasure of celebrating an event here and it was awesome! Happy hour drinks are super affordable and quite delicious! Beer selection is pretty awesome as well! My favorite are the happy hour burgers in the loaded tots. They are open late and it’s always a pleasure to stop in for a quick drink or a bite.

Cody was our server and he was awesome! So attentive and fast with his service. He was so kind about the happy hour menu when we came in 2 min before it ended. Food and drinks were good too! Love coming here to just relax and have some good drinks and grub!

I prefer this location over any location in Denver. It’s conveniently placed right in Belmar and has the best, most considerate, genuine, personable associates I’ve ever interacted with at a restaurant. Just to mention a couple of people that really stood out, Tiffani and Lauren. I’ve been to this location several times and they’re both my favorite people here. If you go to this location, I would highly recommend you ask the host to sit in their sections. Amazing, amazing people. They will always get a minimum of 35% gratuity from me, no matter what. But I almost always do at least 60% just because of how amazing these ladies are.

Always end up at the bar on Wednesdays for our happy hour. The staff are beyond friendly and attentive. The bartenders Candice and Kyle specifically in the evenings are killer with their service.

This was my first trip to a Bar Louie and the Belmar location has top notch service and friendly atmosphere. Every employee that I came in contact with had smiles on there faces and you could genuinely tell they love their job! My server was Tiffani (but the WHOLE crew — special kudos to Lauren and Rachael as well — pitched in to make the experience awesome!) there was never a need to ask for anything additional, she was very attentive and had an amazing bubbly personality that added to the all around vibe. The food came out quickly and pipping hot, served by Clark who was amazing and attentive, making sure that everything was correct. I had the Down South Mac and Cheese and and the person with my had the Bourbon BBQ Burger and we must send my compliments to Miguel, whom was the cook this afternoon!!! Over all I give this first time experience 10/10 … I WILL be headed back!!!

Our waiter was an absolute delight his recommendations were the best plates we got. The food itself was really good, I had the regular burger, and if you love bland food, that's the burger for you. If not I recommend any other burger because they were fantastic. Also the meat was cooked perfectly, and the burger itself was delightfully tender. The environment was clean, we sat outside and the patio was very nice. The chocolate cake... Boy it was dense and delicious, it easily fed four of us, so do with that what you will.

The worst service and food . Had to trash this old chicken. Order was supposed to be ready by 945pm didn’t get it …waited until 1030pm and it was cold. Not even busy. Don’t recommend anyone from out of town to eat here. You people should be ashamed of yourself and serving burnt dry chicken to the public . Not to mention the funny smell on the food too. I will be following up with the health department with additional information . You ruin my hopeful Christmas dinner. Please save your broken sounding reply. I’m never coming back. You could just refund my $39 if you really sorry
