The prime rib dip sandwich was so good! The portion was sized well for the price, which is always a bonus. They have daily specials for food and drinks-so if you dine in be sure to ask for that menu as well. The margarita was good but a bit pricey for the size. The thing to remember with drinks is the pricing isn’t all that surprising for downtown Denver. To save a few pennies definitely check out their large selection of beers!

I will stick to across the street where

Typical tavern vibe with plenty of televisions, very open floorplan, expansive bar. Wait staff efficient enough to get job done. Was a good meal. The 16th Street Mall (not an actual mall) has a good vibe.

We went on the fourth of July. There wasn't a wait but we tried two days before and there was a 45 min wait for a family of 4. The menu has a good choice of items. My kids love salad but were not sure of the Caesar. They were able to update the dressing to the ranch. My Ruben was delicious. Good beer/alcohol choices. Service was great.

Great atmosphere and service. We had ordered the pizza, probably would recommend burgers and such. The beer selection was great. Access to 16th Street mall was great as well.

Edit - The Bartenders here are terrible!! They walk around looking at their feet. HEADS UP PEOPLE!!! Your customers are thirsty! Meh. Gastropub, i suppose.. 🤷‍♂️ Reading the owners "about" info, i mean I guess they have it marketed the right away: sports bar-"ish". Essentially its burgers and beers in a nice "warehousy" brick facade on the 16th street mall. So in other words, $7 bucks for a pint, $14 bucks for a cocktail like an old fashioned or vodka tonic (which sadly has become the norm). Another $18 bucks for a prime rib dip with french fries, or a burger, or fish and chips......etc,etc,etc. At least give me something outstanding or original. Its all pretty much the same stuff as everywhere else. Just a few bucks more, cause of the location.. Service was terrible. I sat at the bar because there was a small wait for a table. But it cleared out after the rush pretty quickly. It just seemed like the bartenders were more interested in the lovely ladies sitting next to me. I mean, you can pretty easily see where a guys eyes are going. I was passed up several times when i was trying to get silverware for my food and another beer. Look - the food was fine and the atmosphere was fine. Im sure it would be a great place for a game, and its (sadly) better than a ton of places in downtown Denver. Bottom line - I'd probably come back. But my expectations would be about as low as the bar is for service.

When we first got there it was really disorganized in trying to get seated and then figuring out which waiter would help us. The guy we finally got was nice. We just ordered 2 cokes and the fried cheese curds. The cheese curds were the best I have ever ate, and I've even had cheese curds in Wisconsin. They also came with a pepper jam that was really good. It was weird to me when they closed at 10pm and started cleaning. I'm used to places being open longer then that on a Friday night and I don't know if it was related to a covid mandate. It was just weird if it wasn't.

I visited Henry’s Tavern for the first time the other night when my husbands family was in town. Everyone enjoyed their food- I had fish tacos and they were delicious. My husband had the sausage pizza and he liked it a lot, and my sisters in law split the kale salad (they said the jalapeño dressing added a nice kick) and the veggie burger, which they also said was good. We started with a boneless wing plate that came with fries- yum. I’d definitely go back- it looks like they have a good happy hour and I’d like to give that a try.

The food was fine but overpriced for what you get and there wasn’t anywhere to hang long coats. More importantly they stack plates and cutlery on each table for appetizers and such BUT anything that isn’t used they just leave for the next guests and stack more on top. I watched them take dirty dishes off the unused plates, re-stack them and add new cutlery. This is seriously unhygienic. I am not an alarmist but people have been breathing/coughing on and touching these plates that are then passed along to someone else as “clean”. We’ll not be back.

The atmosphere and service are quite good. The Tuna salad was good, but definitely could be improved with better quality toppings and lettuce. Tacos were ok. Overall it's good.

A restaurant that worths every penny. Great atmosphere, delicious food and most of all, wide selection of great beers. Have visited for consecutive 3 nights and the restaurant just got busier and busier. We were lucky to be served by a super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable waitor called Chris. Got great food and beer by his recommendation. He worths more tips than any others on site. (Sorry... no hard feelings) A great sports bar, restaurant, and craft beer bar.. you could see it those ways. Will definitely come back every time I am in town. One of my favourite place in Denver.

The vibe was fun and the service was top notch. The food was unfortunately just okay. The cheese curds were very greasy and a member of our large group fell ill after eating them. The pretzel was decent but it would have been better if it was served piping hot. I had the grilled cheese and added roast beef hoping for it to be amazing but it was pretty forgettable. The wings were mutant size but apparently the buffalo sauce, just average. Those of us who had alcoholic drinks said they were better than average however. All in all, it was a good place to eat that was very accommodating to our large group and met our expectations for "pub food".

What a wide variety of delicious foods! I got the mac and cheese burger which was one of the tastiest burgers I’ve ever had. Went back multiple times while in the area, would definitely recommend.

Amazing food and very chill atmosphere. Our waiter, Eddy, was extremely nice, helpful, and quick. And the Gorgonzola Fries are a new favorite of ours.

Henry's is fabulous!! It is a great place to watch a game with TVs everywhere. Henry's even has areas where you can host a private event. The staff is top notch, even during a busy day at the bar, Jordan and Eddie made sure we were taken care of and giving us good recommendations. Food is delicious. I love the Mac and Cheese burger, BLTA is also tasty. Plenty of style beers to choose from and crafty cocktails.

Came in on Saturday around 2:45 and the place was dead. Waited 5+ minutes to be greeted then we were told someone would be with us. No one ever showed and some told us to seat ourselves. I order Salmon wife ordered grilled cheese. Took about 25 minutes for food to arrive. While the Salmon came out hot every else was warm. Drinks were only refilled once. Poor customer service.

We ate dinner before a Christmas show with my parents our server Sierra was awesome. She was so personable, took great care of us and seemed to know just when we needed something. Good service does not always happen and great service is rare! Sierra provided great service. The food was great as well as the rest of the staff.

Sat at the bar and Jordan was on top of her game! We enjoyed the buffalo wings, bison sliders and tinga tacos. Everything was fantastic.

Amicable staff. Nice atmosphere, no loud music. We sat at the bar which has an iced strip to keep your beers or drinks cold (you place them On the iced strip). The warm pretzel is really good.

As a regular guest to Henry’s Tavern we are always amazed with the attentive, professional, and five-star service we consistently receive. The entire bar staff is friendly, insightful and willing to go the extra mile. (Especially Cameron/Michael) I highly recommend this place if you want a warm comfy place to entertain friends.

This is a cool little tavern in Denver. The food was great. The service was almost great. The atmosphere is really good. It has an old time feel with new additions and menu items. The menu is pretty vast and the options cover many different food genres. Bison burgers, chicken tacos, fish tacos and steak were what we had. Everyone was satisfied.

It's a sports bar offering a whole menu of brews and drinks along side typical bar/tavern eats. Fish tacos, with Mahi-Mahi, were very good, serving a decent-sized piece of fish in taco shells thar were firm. (Most such tacos seem to be served in "floppy" shells. Beer-battered fish and chips had a thin, seasoned coating. Quiet for a Sunday evening, it could certainly offer a loud and lively atmosphere during certain sporting events.

Henry's Tavern in Denver is one of my favorite pubs anywhere. We have been here dozens of times and have never had a bad experience with food or service. The restaurant itself is large and beautifully done. We couldn't recommend this place highly enough!

I was really impressed with the food. Not your average bar food at all. The appetizer pretzel is huge. I was almost full just off of it. I got the grilled cheese. It’s cheese on cheese on cheese curds with strawberry jam in the middle and cheese on the outside of bread. The tomato dip is flavorful with a kick. I haven’t found a place with cris-cut fries in a long time. I would order both items again without hesitation.
