Located on Broadway, easy to find. Bar, Indoor & patio seating. Good food & yummy margaritas. They add a wage & benefit fee to your bill? It's new to me. Will definitely go back.

Always a great experience! Attentive friendly staff who never let you run out of chips or salsa. Best queso in town. Fun atmosphere and all their food is delicious!

Really good food. I wish my Chile Rellenos was a bit hotter in temp when it came out (kind of lost a lot of the crispness by the time it reached the table). The portions here are massive! I'd definitely come again - steak chimichangas are good too!

The staff are amazing and friendly. My family and I enjoyed the food and the drinks. The food is so delicious. The chips and salsa appetizer are delicious and addicting 😂. My family and I loved the service and the food at this restaurant. We ordered the fajitas and the tacos, again, it was delicious. As a matter of fact, I was going to take pictures of the food but completely forgot because the food looked so deliciously ,when it was put on the table. I think what I love most, are the open doors and the ventilation. We will be returning to this restaurant.

I’m so very sorry but that was the worst Mexican food we’ve ever eaten and we’ve eaten as we lived in Texas and visited Mexico many times. Go for a cold beer on the patio and appreciate the good service but literally go anywhere else for the Mexican food. It’s completely tasteless. I’m not sure how they accomplish that - the queso, the salsa, the tacos (fish, chicken or pork) were all equally tasteless .

Honestly the was so bad ! Chile con queso was from a Can so bad ! We asked for the three enchiladas and mole extremely sweet, tomatillo way to acid, and the cheese one was decent ! Mexican rice far away from any taste ! And black beans was just ok see the bill and let me tell The bartender was great ! But not helping the food at all

Was in Denver at a class and the instructor took us here. Food was good, atmosphere was good. This place did not disappoint. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Food caters to a very specific demographic. Tortilla was not cooked. Rice and beans were cold. Cheese on top wasn't melted on top of the beans. Green Chile was ok flavor wise but extremely runny. Ordered a Carne Asada burrito. Meat was nicely cooked, but the veggies were still mostly raw. They do a mix of white onions and red onions for the fajita mix, which was fine but just strange. For a long time instution in Denver I would have guessed their food was actually good. Overpriced for what you get.

This place has amazing food. We got the combo plate, mango chicken salad, and sopapillas and all were so tasty and full of quality ingredients. The margaritas were great too and was the service. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for good food and good service.

We have been coming to Blue Bonnet for the last decade. They have always taken care our Gluten Free or Dairy Free needs. Jose has always made sure everything came out right, even the off menu Sloppy Burger featured in the photos. Definitely a weekly trip for us.

Top notch Mexican Cafe! The food was delicious. The best chili relleno I've had in a long time! Our server was great, and everything was timed exceptionally well. I would definitely recommend a visit to this long standing Cafe just south of downtown Denver.

My favorite local Tex-Mex spot in Denver 💎 Cheesy queso, tasty Mexican rice, great ice tea and delicious combos. I have been visiting this place for over 10 years with many other Tex-mex spots in between and it’s still at the top of my list! Friendly service, a great bar setting with happy hour and indoor/outdoor seating.

Service was amazing. I had the chicken chimichanga and a pork tamale. Banana margarita was good. The green chili and salsa are not spicy at all which is amazing for me since I am wimpy with spice. The chicken had great flavor and the green chili was really tasty!

This place has been around for a while. It needs a boost with some new menu items. It wasn’t very busy on a Friday night. The house margarita isn’t too good so I switched to an upgraded one, and it was an improvement. I ordered the enchilada suizas, which had shredded chicken. I would have preferred a spinach enchilada but meat seems to be the standard here. Food is fairly bland. I want this place to stick around but they need additional menu items that contain vegetables. I would love more quality margarita choices too. They have a patio and parking is free and easy.

Food was delicious but a bit pricey compared to other good Mexican restaurants. There will also be an additional small % of bill charged (1-2% if I recall it right) for wage supplementation to kitchen employees- which i thought was progressive and innovative and didn't mind paying. Maybe its a new thing and I haven't been out in awhile!

Great, fresh food. When you're seated you're served with chips and delicious homemade salsa. I've never ordered something from the menu that wasn't excellent. Service is efficient and friendly. There is nice outdoor seating, and also a room that has the indoor-outdoor feel because of large glass doors are open during good weather.

Damn good food and service if you sleep on this place you sleep and miss out, I prefer indoor dining during hot months, if cool eat outside! The perfect margaritas and the soapapillas are so good!!!!

Last time we went - we had a great experience...on this most recent visit it was just average. I prefer the main dining room...you FEEL like you are in Mexican restaurant, however, we were seated in the dining area off of the patio and it felt more like a cafateria. If you don't mind this - then great, but I prefer some atmosphere. Our server was great - but we felt a little rushed, even though it wasn't busy for a snowy & cold Sunday lunch. My husband took his recommendation for the stuffed pablano peppers and I had the Quesadillas. Big portions but surprisingly bland. I know we'll go again - but I feel like it can be hit or miss on the overall experience
