While
visiting
Denver,
we
were
told
about
Gaetano’s.
Fortunately
we
were
able
to
make
a
reservation
for
New
Year’s
Day
dinner.
When
we
entered,
it
was
busy,
which
was
a
good
sign.
We
saw
an
order
of
the
calamari
go
to
a
table
and
definitely
wanted
to
try
it
after
just
seeing
it.
We
were
sat
within
a
couple
minutes,
however
the
tables
for
2
were
pretty
tightly
squeezed
and
in
a
rather
awkward
area
of
the
restaurant,
due
to
this
it
was
very
easy
to
hear
the
adjoining
tables
conversations,
which
was
a
little
distracting.
Luckily
the
service
and
food
made
up
for
the
atmosphere
issues.
Our
server
was
impeccable
and
very
helpful
with
choosing
drinks
and
food.
We
had
the
Cioppino
and
the
Chicken
Piccata
along
with
some
wine
and
a
cocktail.
The
food
was
amazing!
The
seafood
in
the
Cioppino
was
so
fresh
and
tender,
and
the
tomato
broth/sauce
was
probably
the
best
I’ve
tasted
in
a
long
time.
(If
I
could
have
ordered
just
that
sauce
to
take
home
I
would’ve).
The
chicken
was
tender
and
the
flavors
of
the
piccata
were
perfect.
We
were
very
happy
with
our
dinner
and
would
definitely
visit
again
if/when
we
return
to
Denver!
