They are only open for lunch, but they have the most incredible food. Not only is there service great, but their mission is incredible. The food is absolutely delicious. There are 2 way to enter and you might walk through a garden, you’re not lost! Everyone should try this place and try something new.

Cannot rave enough about this phenomenal restaurant. The quality of food + a mission I fully support = joyous consumption of super tasty meals. Highly recommend the pork dishes but don't sleep on the rajas con queso tacos as they are my go to favorite any day. Make sure you swing by!

Their maduros(like plantains) are absolutely GAME changing. The rest of my plate was excellent. The churros were heavenly and came a side of icing for dipping.

¡Que Viva CoMAL! WOW, the hype is real. This place hits the spot in so many ways as others have stated and I can vouch. Even just the rice (fluffiest) and beans were turly exceptional. Really enjoyed the chile relleno, fresh corn tortillas y LOS CHURROS! Of course it’s so much more than delicious food. The aim to preserve culinary heritage and support newcomers to the US/Denver is reason enough to discover this absolute GEM, and the warmth and generosity of the staff is palpable. Hasta la próxima!

Delicious! We had the puerco en salsa verde (plate and taco), rajas con queso taco, and chips and salsa and everything exceeded expectations. Love the mission behind this spot, the space/gardens are great, and so glad I could make it here during my visit to Denver.

I went here with a friend who said “this is what I want to eat for the rest of my life.” Hyperbole? Of course not! The food here is spectacular, the mission is wonderful, and if you sit at the bar, you get to chat with the women creating these delicious meals

I’ve long loved Comal but this was the first time getting our Xmas tamales from them. Truly the best I’ve had for years. Everyone ate their share and then begged to take some home. Five stars!

Phenomenal food, bright and cute space, and gorgeous Mountain View’s! My friends and I came for a birthday lunch, and felt like we went on a trip to another country, without leaving Denver. The food was sooooo good, and the whole experience delightful. I can’t wait to come back!

Pumpkin soup was good. Flank steak platter was dry and bland. Meat had nice flavor. Would try something else.

This is some of the best food in Denver in my opinion. It's only open for lunch but everything I've had here is amazing and the churros are to die for. The mission if this restaurant to support locals is great as well.

While leaving a customers, I noticed the line of people coming out of Comal while heading to my car in the same parking lot. It was noon. The menu was simple with options for non-GMO, etc. I ordered the Tinga De Pollo Plate - chicken breast in Chipotle chili, rice, beans, and queso fresco. The menu says it comes with tortillas but I didn't get any. One of my favorite dishes my Mom used to make was chicken en mole. I could probably eat that every day with beans, rice, and tortillas. The menu description of what I ordered didn't give me a clue that it was going to basically, be some very good chili mole. I loved the cilantro and onions in this version though. I would say the serving size was on the smaller end and there should've been more chicken for the price of $12. The beans are a cross between whole and mashed and were delicious. The rice I received was a white rice, not Mexican rice like the menu says, but the lime in it was good. I still would've preferred Mexican rice. The queso fresco on the beans is a great touch. All that was missing in this meal were my tortillas...

Food is overpriced. Portions are tiny and the carnitias are very fatty. Tips at check out are 20% to 30%. Which would be fine if they brought you silverware but the staff is so lazy it's shameful.

Come eat and feel at home. This is my favorite place in Denver for great food, warm service. When I’m in town I make it a point to come here. Everything I’ve tried is delicious and it feels like I’m eating my mama’s cooking. You will not regret having the chips and salsa
