We came to illegal Pete’s to order food. On this day contribution from their sales would go to Academia Ana Maria Sandoval. I was glad to see that they were very busy. We ordered three steak burritos, a chicken bowl, a steak bowl, chicken quesadillas, and nachos. I want to give a shout out to illegal Pete’s for supporting local schools. I see you find this helpful leave a thumbs up.

We love this Illegal Pete’s and come here probably 3 or 4 times a month. The staff is super friendly and quick, and the food is reliably delicious. Love the garage door bar. My only criticism is—the fajita veggies are pretty consistently undercooked and chopped too big. Small gripe for a fast-casual chain though—these guys have it together.

I normally love this place but they’ve increased prices AND decreased portions. $4.29 for 15 chips and a Tablespoon of guac?? I understand prices have gone up but don’t skimp on the sizes too. Ridiculous.

Yummm!! This place is like a local Chipotle, but better. It’s sooo good. Very authentic and delicious.

The vibe and aesthetic are fantastic (10/10). The food is delicious and so satisfying after a night of drinking. There is a lot of ample indoor and outdoor seating. I will always be back for their horchata. So good! 👍

The Baja Fish tacos hit the spot! The vodka and hard seltzer combo were a great way to quench the thirst this sunny autumn day. We had the chips and guac too. If you're not sure what to order try a bowl. The chocolate chip cookie was good too! Outdoor seating was wide open today. Take advantage of the outdoor bar seating too.

Food taste and quality has gone downhill. You get more for the price at Qdoba or chipotle.

The only place in Denver that rivals Chipotle in my opinion. Great, fresh food and the staff is always friendly. The burritos are good prices too. You can get completely stuffed with a $10 burrito.

This location needs some work. We frequent Illegal Pete’s a lot - atleast every other weekend - and every time we come to this location we tell ourselves “never again”. The tortillas are always stale, potatoes are over cooked, veggies are mush, and they constantly skimp on portions. Never have them make two burritos simultaneously or you will end up with half sized burritos. On more than one occasion I’ve watched them literally split a scoop of beans/rice/potato amongst both tortillas instead of giving each burrito its own scoop. Never pay for guacamole either, you’ll get 1 tbsp at best. If you ask them to correct the issue you’ll be addressed with abrasiveness and told it’s an extra charge.

Ever since the pandemic illegal Pete’s quality of chicken and portion they give is horrible. Used to come 3-4 times a week and now every time I come the service and quality is not up to par with what it used to be. Always seems like an inconvenience to fix my food for the employees as well. Bring back the old Illegal Pete’s.

Outstanding food. Good service. (With probably one exception, the abrasive bartender)

I've had my share of both good and bad burritos from Illegal Pete's Northside, and I've managed to enjoy all of them. But the absolute abomination they rolled up for me tonight demands comment. Rice, so old and dehydrated it could knock your teeth out. Chicken, looked like it went straight from the freezer to the stovetop and got boiled with all the thawing slop. And Jesus Christ, could you go a little lighter on the fajitas? It filled up half of my burrito as they struggled to roll it up with not one, not two, but three pieces of tin foil, leaving an exploding, deteriorated burrito carcass to unravel. Even the manager at the register (great guy, usually) scowled at the horror of this thing. Get it together, please!

Some of the best quesadillas and nachos we’ve had at a casual restaurant and they have something for everybody. Friendly and fast staff and a great place to hang out. To-go parking is usually taken by people eating inside which is frustrating but if you can find a spot to park, it’s so worth it.

Can’t recommend illegal Pete’s catering enough! Super affordable for a large group, plus it’s one of the few places that provides ALL of the catering supplies you would need. They also deliver which is a huge plus when you’re busy running around.

I had chicken taco's. They were delicious! My son enjoyed his burrito! Endless toppings for whatever you have to eat. Employees were very professional and very nice 👍 Love the atmosphere. So cool. Prices are good. You get a lot of food for the price. Very cool place! 😘

I stopped in yesterday for lunch and it was great. It was hot outside, and the interior was nicely air conditioned. The staff was super friendly, and the food was perfect. The steak was done just right, and I let Saul, a guy from the kitchen, know just how good it tasted. The chocolate chip cookie was perfect as well; not hard and not too chewy. Nice job Illegal Pete's!

Illegal Pete's is always awesome and this location is no exception. The staff are friendly and efficient, the food is fantastic, and there is a huge outdoor patio in addition to ample inside seating. I think their breakfast menu is my favorite, and sets them apart from other similar build-a-burrito options.

I enjoyed my burrito here. The people who made it were happy and that's nice. It wasn't busy when I was there so that was also nice. I enjoyed the hot sauce options as well. I would go back for sure 🙂

I don’t even know how this could happen because I ordered my chicken burrito with green chili in person, watched it get made, and got home with some other persons veggie burrito. Which was basically fajita veggies and lettuce wrapped in a tortilla. I went for a chicken burrito with green chili and got home with a salad wrap. I want to find whoever ordered this thing so I can teach them what a real burrito is! Who ordered this thing, Roger Rabbit? I seriously have no idea how this happened. I watched the burrito get made and wrapped.

Love illegal Pete’s. Just moved back and decided to hit this spot. They were pretty rude when I was ordering maybe a bad day but seemed like a place where entitled hipsters were getting frustrated at slight work inconveniences that’s part of the job. Kinda dirty but it was busy hours. And then for our queso and chips they like didn’t give us much, not sure if they were running out or that’s the portion but seemed pretty low. Idk weird experience love all the other ones I’ve been to.

I had the best catering experience here with Brad! He was so helpful and carried everything to my car. He asked if we needed anything else or extra serving utensils and napkins. He was fantastic! The world needs more Brads!!!

We really liked the chicken and pork tacos this time as last time we had the salad w steak and pork burrito.....it's always good! Top it off with a cold beer before the Avs win and it made the night perfect! Kudos 👏 and I would definitely recommend.

Love the location and the staff but something has to be done about the prioritizing of the online orders. Two or three online orders will be completed before a person that is actually in the restaurant will be helped. I've waited over 20 minutes for a basic burrito in a line of five people or less on multiple occasions. Today I waited five minutes just to check out because the cashier was dealing with a courier that couldn't find their order. Please set up a second food line to take care of online orders and prioritize helping the customers that are waiting in line.

There are a range of options to eat. It seems like almost all of them are great. Definitely try the fried fish it is excellent. Good proprietary hot sauce is available. Nice bar taking up the middle section of restaurant. Friendly patient staff. You order at the left hand side and walk down the line with all of your customizations. Highly recommend dining in for the best experience.

My favorite Pete's location, for sure. It can be a bit frustrating when you get stuck behind 20 online to-go orders, however. Edit as of 6/22 -- What TF happened? My last two orders have been an embarrassment. And, unsurprisingly, behind large to-go orders. I got 6 pieces of steak. Six. And about a splash of the pork green chili that I pay extra for. My last burrito was about 4 inches wide and 2/3 rice. I can't come back to this location until they sort this *@#! out, and I'm usually there at least once a week with points to prove it.

Way too loud hipster joint serving up cafeteria style built custom burritos (like chipotle). Lot of char grilled meat was going on the grill, but we must have come in after a rush because the kitchen was a disaster. My steak was under salted and somewhat bland, but the other ingredients were of good quality. The queso is kind of a yuk flavorless Velveeta with chips.
