Our team stayed here for tournament and our stay was terrible, this could be a nice facility, but the rooms and balconies are ran down, some need repairs and just a good deep cleaning, paint peeling, cracks in walls, carpet dirty, they didn't have our rooms reserved like we had asked and checked repeatedly, they cancelled one of the reservations before a player and family could arrive even though it was held with a credit card and they were told when they would be arriving, then stated they were overbooked and couldn't accommodate them until next day so they had to stay in a parking lot of store across street for the night, they just did not care!! Our rooms were not cleaned, trash over flowing, or restocked after 5 days, dirty sheets on one bed, and asking daily multiple people, maids and front staff for this, but nothing was done, air conditioning was not working multiple days, they fixed it and it stopped again, everyone always made excuses or said they would fix things but it never happened, you would go back and ask again and they would say oh I'm sorry but nothing. Just excuses, always passing the buck, even the managers. You have to have key card access to park in parking garage as street parking due to homeless in area is not suggested, multiple times we could not get in or out and had to go have cards reset. One day our cards would not work to our rooms went to front desk and they stated oh we thought you checked out?? Absolutely no good communication between staff ever! Several days in after all the complaints from multiple parents we were told by a manger they would discount our stay by 2 days cost because they realized things had went so bad and not corrected time and time again. They asked us to meet with the GM the next day to discuss all the concerns as they said they felt bad it had gotten so worse and not been addressed. He was not concerned with the problems or addressing anything to make the last couple days of our stay better. He would only consider taking half nights stay for one room off, even though we had 11 rooms of families that all paid good money to stay here and all had multiple problems. And it wasn't just us, other teams and families staying there had multiple complaints that were never addressed. I would not stay here again and if you are a sports team just know they all stated multiple times they are just not set up to handle big groups or teams, so why do they contract with team sites for bookings?? Consider somewhere else.

The overall experience was good. The check-in staff was nice, friendly and welcoming. Didn't get the same vibe when I checked out though (different staff). The bartender Jay was great. The food at the bar was average but good sized portions. The room was clean but some furniture had visible markings of being a bit old. Even though the view wasn't great, the room had a balcony. No complimentary water in the room. The fire place in the lobby was only for aesthetic purposes. Didn't try the breakfast as I checked out early in the morning.

its okay, the lobby is super nice! like it's a vibe, but when you go further into the building you can see the building needs major renovations and updated furniture. the outdoor pool was closed. the indoor pool was cold to touch and the hot tub was brown. the rooms need renovations too, no microwave only a fridge that doesn't cool drinks. The outlets are loose and don't work. there's a weird smell in the room and you can't even go outside the balcony because there's a swarm of bees or wasps. i would not stay here if i weee you. very disappointed.

15-minutes into my visit and this has been THE BEST travel experience I've ever had at a hotel. I literally travel every week for work. I wasn't expecting a great experience since all my hotel experiences have begun to blur together. I guess I got used to "okay" service. The experience at the Renaissance Denver Central Park Hotel has been phenomenal. Andrew at the front desk made my experience. Will definitely be staying here anytime I come to Denver. Amazing service. Genuinely world class.

Terrible customer service! Yasmin doesn’t need to be working with customers… she doesn’t care for her job enough to great people with respect! Her mannerisms, attitude, and character were imaginably disrespectful. She laughed at me! I asked her what was my total, she directed me to check my back! I didn’t get any information about the hotel… she asked me what I wanted to know and I’m a guest at her hotel - that she chose to work for! These rooms are over $150 per night the least this hotel could do is provide high quality customer service! She rolled her eyes at me and chapped her mouth like I was irritating her! Um, I’m checking in… this is your job! If you don’t like it, find another! I’ve never been treated this way at any Marriott and needless to say… I’m considering switching my membership! This was a disgrace…

The room was dirty upon arrival. There were empty beers in the shower, as well as a dirty coffee pod rotting in the rooms coffee makers tank (putting us at risk for botulism). We were assured there would be staff member arriving with our new coffee machine four times over multiple hours of the morning with no avail. Super rude and unresponsive staff. The housekeeping lady told me it’s not her job to help with that despite her having access to all of the coffee supplies of the hotel. I forgot my key trying to solve this issue in the lobby and the maintenance guy kicked me out of the elevator and offerred to take another person up after telling me his key doesn’t go up. Go anywhere else, this place is a huge disappointment.

Realized within hours of checking out that I’d left a brand new outfit in the closet. After more than a dozen calls (because the phone is rarely picked up) and several emails to the hotel, the best answer I finally got days later from Jacob, the manager was, “yeah, the maids are pretty bad about logging this stuff” and “I’d have to look into this myself.” Of course, nothing happened. What could have been fixed quickly if just ONE person was willing to help, will now never be resolved. I hope the cleaning staff enjoys my brand new outfit. Other than this awful lack of service, the hotel is clean and comfortable and the restaurant staff wonderful.

As a young couple, this seemed like a great choice at a great price. The location isn't great if you want to stay close to the city but the hotel was clean. The housekeeping brought towels to the room promptly (within 30 minutes). We didn't try the breakfast, though it did smell good.

We just stayed here for 3 nights and it was great. The hotel was clean and very modern. The hotel workers were phenomenal and super friendly. The hotel is located on a busy street but we were high enough up that the only traffic we heard was firetrucks going by. The outside does have homeless people around but not as bad as many other reviews stated. The hotel will take you to the train station that is near by otherwise it's a short walk to a bus stop that will also take you there.

Tried to call ahead and leave a little room service or note for my honey who was staying there for a conference on her birthday. No room service after 10pm. That's cool... I get it. It's late. I asked if I could order breakfast or coffee to be delivered for the morning. The staff couldn't be bothered and told me to call in the morning when the kitchen is open at 6am. I asked if I could at least leave a note. I swear... if the woman on the phone could be seen, she'd probably be giving me the hair eyeball. I have no idea what it's like to stay here. However, if the customer service I received when I called to do something nice for a guest is an indication, you may want to stay somewhere else. Their customer philosophy for my call was, "probably not" and "I can't be bothered."

The room and service were very good. Clean bathroom and nice beds. Breakfast was very impressive with a top notch waiter. There were plumbers in the room when we returned from breakfast. I left some jewelry items in a bag on the bed and I called them to which they replied housekeeping found my bag with MANY items in it. Front desk Asst. Mgr. Jason promised to return my items by mail. I sent him a self addressed box and $11.00 for postage..... nothing. can't talk to any front desk manager for weeks! No way to leave message. It turns into a squeal like a fax machine. This has been since Oct. 3rd. I want my items back!!!!! Housekeeping (hopefully didnt take things) was honest and turned it in. Now the Asst. Mgr .is holding my belongings hostage that it has come to writing a bad review for what was a great stay at the hotel A motel in Missouri returned my Sharper Image Radio that was under a.pillow - housekeeping turned it in AND mailed it to me no charge. Only two things ever lost.

The architectural beauty of this hotel is hard to miss. It is perhaps one of the iconic buildings in that side of town, if not the city. I spent three nights here, and I can say my room was generally comfortable and neat. The staff were very courteous and provided any assistance I needed. You can see downtown from the balconies of the west side of the building. I was however not pleased with the occasional noise that emanated from downstairs. I did not get the chance to test services like restaurants and bars in this hotel since I was extremely busy elsewhere.

TL;DR - OK location, good balconies, acceptable rooms Location - It is interesting, not too far from the airport and downtown; also not a whole lot happening around the hotel that you can walk to Rooms - The balconies were the best part: crisp mountain air. Guess not all rooms are upgraded as shown in the pictures, some still have squeaky tubs. Housekeeping is a downer, for the first time, I had two shampoos and no body wash Ok for a short stay and if you want good access to go around town.

Overall an average experience. Not great, but not terrible. Some staff were really nice, others no so much. Room didn’t have a functioning heater, and the mattress was lumpy. But it was clean. I was just there 1 night. The lobby is spacious, and good place to get work done.

Make sure to use HoteIDully.ᴄᴏm when booking any hotel. This website will compare hundreds of booking web sites and normally will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in the area. I have been staying here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you won't be disappointed. The building seems old, and it has the issues of an older building. However, from what I saw in the ten days I stated there, the staff is constantly working to keep the hotel up and running very well. The main lobby is a good place to sit and relax, talk, work, and eat. My room was good and the staff did a good job. For the price the hotel is a great option. Yes, they did charge extra for parking. When you own a parking garage these days, it is premium property. It does cost money to keep the lights on, so I understand. The total cost was still less than many others in the area.

Within a 30 minute drive to the airport but the room was horrible. Not a good area. Outdated and when we first arrived to our room, our balcony door was left open and would not lock. We slept with an open door all night. We ate dinner in the lounge and the waiter couldn’t speak any English. My husband ordered a Sprite with dinner and the waiter couldn’t comprehend. Never checked on us once after placing our order. Will never be going back.

Was surprised to check in and see half the hotel under construction. We were on our first trip in 3 years (with no kids!) and wanted to relax. Couldn’t do that with the construction all day. If we had been notified we would have stayed elsewhere. Took 2 tries to get us into the actual room we booked and paid for (with a balcony). You will wait on hold with the front desk for a minimum of 20 minutes. I eventually tried on my cell phone and got through a bit faster but all of our requests took at least 4 hours to complete (like one extra roll of toilet paper). There was a school sports team also staying at the hotel and the hotel staff prompted them to park BLOCKING the exit to the parking garage. Needless to say I was almost ran over TWICE. The staff didn’t care and did nothing about it. Contacted the general manager and have essentially been ghosted. This property needs some SERIOUS help. The customer service is the worst I’ve ever seen. Especially for the price, not worth it!! Also, this is not a nice neighborhood, I saw drug use everytime we left the hotel and started driving toward the shops. Stay literally anywhere else.

When you walk in, the hotel is very impressive. But as you look closer - at the hallways, in the rooms - you start to notice it’s actually kind of gross. Spills that were never cleaned up, mystery stains, peeling wallpaper, vents that have probably never been cleaned… We even found a toenail on the bathroom floor as soon as we got into our room for the first time. The parking garage is also disgusting. We had to step over mounds of garbage to get out of the elevator. TLDR: it’s not worth the price.

The hotel was nice. The rooms were very clean. The view was amazing. The construction took away from stay but only slightly. The hotel was very upfront about the construction and informed us before and during the stay - but it still took away from the experience. I had a great time there and would stay there again.

Worst customer service I ever experienced from the beginning to end. Right when we arrived at the hotel they had one person working the front desk so we had to wait in line for 30 minutes to check in. The whole reason I booked this hotel is because it said there was a hot tub. When we got to this so called hot tub it was green and seemed to be out of service even though I called before hand and checked if it was working. Stay any where but here. They advertise free parking but made me pay for parking with no help with our bags. Also made me pay 30$ to check in 30 minutes early. Wouldn’t wish this service on my worst enemy. 5 star prices for 1 star service.

Hotel is in a great location! We came for a Broncos game and it was really close to the stadium. Parking was on site. Lobby was under construction but they made a great effort to make it less noticeable. Beds were comfy. Loved the pillows. The staff that we had interaction with was very friendly! Breakfast is not included and we didn't even go over there to check it out, so can't comment on that. (There's a Chick Fila in walking distance - all you need 😋) We also were there over New Years and the hotel had a great view of downtown. We got to see a lot of fireworks! Only complaint was that the room service knocked on the door at 8:30am. We had gotten in late the night before so it wasnt very cool to get an early wake up call. Make sure to put your DND on right away.

The hotel was under construction when we arrived. Check in was easy but we weren't aware the hotel on site parking was an extra cost upon reservation and you surely dont want to park off site in this area. The hotel was nice and the room spacious. We had a balcony and unfortunately the patio door even closed just let the cold air flow in like it was open. We had many appointments and errands to run so didn't spend much time in the hotel but to sleep, the bed was comfortable and housekeeping was super friendly when we requested more towels. The hotel is a bit out of place in the area you go outside and surrounding blocks leave much to be desired (not the hotels fault). It was easy to access but wish they would have told us about the additional parking costs. I think the hotel owned parking garage should be included with a reservation especially when there is very minial parking available surrounding the hotel on the street.

Stayed here during Western Nationals 2023 and 2024. This year they were renovating the interior. The updates look really good but even more importantly, the staff was extremely accommodating during the construction process. I highly recommend staying for the service, the convenient location and the atmosphere!

I’m at a conference at the Renaissance Denver, Central, Park, Hotel, and I’m here for a week. It has been absolutely the worst hotel experience that I’ve had in many years. The hotel is currently under construction and all kinds of problems. Go with that. The staff do not seem to care about the guest and will not help you when needed. When I arrived at the train station, it took almost 2 hours for them to pick me up. I would never recommend this hotel to stay at. My experience has been the absolute worst that it could be. Furthermore, when I confronted the management staff to explain the concerns that I’ve had with staying at the hotel with the problems that I’ve had they didn’t really care and only offered to give me a free breakfast. I thought that was a joke! For almost $200 a night I expect more. I have stayed in motel six is that one nicer and with better staff.

Not the best hotel I've been to. Nice rooms and lobby, wonderful view of the lobby overall lower floors from the elevator and the city lights of Aurora and Denver and enjoyable at night. It has easy access to its parking garage as well as the Central Park Station. The problems come with price, obviously it is expensive but the breakfast is $20 per person, if not purchased with room. Overall not perfect and the location is only accessible via the A line or by automobile to anything nice. Good conference hotel.

Stayed here for a week with my girl friend to get away from the Texas heat. Had to deal with the staff accidentally double charging me halfway into my stay, definitely was not something i enjoyed dealing with but they were able to resolve the issue quickly and by the next morning. The wifi was extremely spotty which made it tough getting done some work from the hotel. The staff was all extremely nice and although they seemed to be stretched a little thin , they were all working hard and diligently. The restaurant in the hotel was very nice and the vibe and interior of the entire place is very nice. I loved having the balcony access that comes with all rooms and all the rooms were nice. the one exception being that the bathrooms didn't seem to have any fans, which let's be honest , is a necessity at times. Would book again in the future

Our home away from home. We’ve spent dozens of nights here in the last 2 years. The rooms are always dazzling clean and the employees friendly. The walls aren’t paper thin so you can’t hear the people in the room next to you snoring. The rooms have balconies which is such a nice feature, even though the view is of the Home Depot parking lot across the street. There is a train close by but they provide you with earplugs. The breakfast is nicer than most. The pool and fitness area are well maintained and enjoyable. The location is a little sketchy with many broken down campers turned into permanent residences and numerous tents but that’s pretty much everywhere in Denver these days.

The stay here was superb. The staff's willingness to serve was exemplary. The room was very comfortable. One critique: Get some bellboys or something like them. Our group comes to you once a year and we bring LOTS of luggage. Just suggestion.....

This hotel setup was nice. The room is simple and good if you are not looking to be in your room all day. The beds could be softer, they are firm. The front desk and staff were quite friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was pretty good, they actually give you quite a bit. Some of the things in the room show some age but overall, not horrible but certainly not what I am use to. It does give some views of the mountains ⛰️

  • 2/5 Chris C. 2 years ago on Google
It was an okay stay. When we arrived it took 20-30 minutes of running the shower for the water to get hot and the water only ever got moderately warm the entire stay. When we called the desk about the water they said it takes awhile to warm up when it snows, which is fine but a heads up would’ve been appreciated. The room was also fairly lacking in terms of cleanliness. We found old candy on the floor (Skittles for the curious) and wrappers. Some of the towels had stains on them and there were various crumbs and bits of paper trash on the floor. The finish on the nightstands was peeling and the wallpaper in the bathroom was also peeling. Think the room just needs some TLC. The in-room dining is overpriced (to be expected in a hotel) but it was made worse by the food being extremely greasy and bland. Bed was comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking any room. This site will compare thousands of hotel sites and normally will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is the best rated in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you won't regret it. I’m a very picky person on where I stay especially when out of town. I would most definitely recommend staying here. Cover self parking for a small fee was very reasonable.

Great place! 24hr fitness center was awesome! Great service and our room was pretty damn clean when we got there! High homeless area though, we didn't have any problems but they recommended not parking on the street but other than that the hotel itself was great

Had an extended weekend stay. The hotel accommodations were clean, nice, and friendly. Notably had to cut the trip short because of a family death. They offered to refund the extra night without me even asking. It was a bright spot in a rough weekend. A big thank you to the Renaissance team.

The hotel itself it is very nice looking upon walking in with a nice bar, mellow calm atmosphere and friendly reception staff. We stayed here in mid July for 4 day stay in Denver in a queen bed room. Upon entering the room were were a little disappointed there wasn’t a small table in the room and the furniture looked a bit old. However the linens were clean and the ac worked perfectly in the hot summer heat. However outside noises in the hall are very noticeable inside the rooms, specially since there was a large number of teens from sports teams staying in the hotel at the time. We were very disappointed by the rooms not being cleaned throughout our stay, after our second night in the hotel our trash cans started to become full, I approached a housekeeper and was told they only cleaned vacated rooms and was directed to the front desk to request the trash be picked up. As i went to the front desk the lady told us they normally can only do so in the morning, but wrote our room number down on the corner of a sheet of paper and were told it would be done in the morning at the latest. After 4 days of our stay our room was not cleaned at all, which i could have dealt with if it wasn’t for the trash starting to pile up so we had to save plastic bags when we went out so we could come back and empty the trash ourselves. Not exactly what I expected from a hotel like this, when most other places offer basic housekeeping on daily basis. Another issue is the parking, we found ourselves trapped between the gate a line of cars because the garage will not open with your room key until you go in to get authorization from the front desk, so we ended up inconveniencing a lot of people trying to get in as well, on top of the downside of them charging $19 per day to be able to park inside. Long story short, the experience was not entirely bad but it could have been so much better, I will try a different hotel next time we fly into Denver.

Stylish hotel with comfy beds, four star amenities but the front desk treats the guests like they're trespassing. I've stayed at this hotel more times than I can remember, however, this last visit will be my last. Hotel was under 25% capacity and the manager thought it was a good idea to call me a problem, clap her hands while talking at me, and treat me in the most condescending manner I have ever experienced. I missed her name but she has the appearance of an evil witch with braces, with food stuck in her braces. Along with her cohort, Alice, unbeknownst to me were charging me early checkin fees that ranged from $30-$50 everyday, EVEN THOUGH I WAS STAYING IN THE SAME ROOM AND DID NOT NEED IT CLEANED OR SERVICED. When I saw that my security deposits were being held and each day there were $30+ charged extra each day I asked the front desk about those charges. First, Alice who checked me in had lied to me and her manager stating she told me about these charges. Complete lie. So I asked to speak with her manager, to my surprise it was this unkempt, rude, unfortunate looking person who began clapping repeating the checkout time over and over again talking over me with food still in her braces. Last month they did not have this new early check in fee when I was staying in the same room without checking out and the front desk staff was respectful and courteous. Now I understand why hotel was under 25% capacity because they treat guests like they are trespassing and this new manager talks to you as if she was on the Jerry Springer show. Too bad that staff is terrible because the hotel is gorgeous.

Well kept property with some really fun art everywhere. Our room had a balcony! It was lovely. Staff was friendly & helpful. The location of the parking garage is so convenient. We’ll probably stay here next time we visit Denver.

This was one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Comfortable beds, clean room, beautiful decor, friendly staff, and the shuttle service was awesome! The entrance is very nice, clean, modern, and welcoming. The Rooms appearance much the same. Walk in shower, good sized mirror and sink. Good sized Samsung TV. A Mini Fridge, Small safe, The Beds were firm yet comfortable and warm. NO microwave though. Available spa and pool. The weekend breakfast is fantastic. High quality foods and service. Will definitely stay here again!

Overall this is nice hotel for the pricing. The location is in the outskirts of Denver, with downtown Denver being about a 15 minute drive. When standing outside on our balcony, there were a lot of homeless people walking and looking through the bushes outside the hotel...which doesn't bother us as we tend to spread the love, but it may bother others. The staff was super friendly and helpful with any questions. We never did see the breakfast buffet that was available for purchase downstairs...we also didn't go out of our way to look for it. Overall, good experience but we'd probably explore our options with other places to stay the next time in Denver.

Comfy bed, but room could use more cleaning. It was dusty and carpet has seen better days. The restaurant inside the hotel served great food and service was exceptional. The people at the front desk, not so much. This isn't the best location. There is a hotel next door that they turned into a housing for the homeless. Sketchy people roaming outside and didn't feel safe.

Spent 7 nights here—THE BEST hotel in Denver we have found, and we come here every year to visit family! The property is gorgeous inside; with beautiful common areas and seating niches throughout. The lobby, the bar, and the restaurant are elegant and inviting. Even the glass elevators are stunning and spotless. The rooms are super clean and large, with comfortable bedding, coffee maker, mini-fridge and a balcony with Denver mountain views! Parking is in a secure garage. It’s in a busy area with easy access to shopping and restaurants. Super quiet and peaceful. The staff makes guests feel like royalty! The price was much lower than anything we’ve seen this plush—anywhere. Truly a great value for an elegant and relaxing hotel!!
