Concerned friend here; the service was not optimal, her veins were abused and the jello was sugar free. The communication was seriously lacking, and after only one day after being released she was admitted again. Coincidence, I think not! Do better, not mad just disappointed.

I’ve been in many hospitals and I’ve never been in one like Swedish where I was uncomfortable the whole time there! Overall the nurses were ok but I will never go back there! Good thing was only there two days or I’d left on my own! One time I was in the Greeley hospital for two weeks and never felt like I did at Swedish medical center! What a stressful experience! Never again

Swedish has the worst medical staff in the emergency department that I have ever seen. They are rude have terrible bedside manner and completely negligent when it comes to the care of their patients. I will be sure not to go to their ER ever again. The ICU unit is amazing and have been taking care of my daughter they get a 5 star. The ER let my daughter flatline and she would have died if not for my Mom being in the room. Then today my doctor said you will be at Swedish to see your daughter and told me to admit myself into the emergency department, they took urine and blood and put in on an IV they took me into another room with 10 chairs then left me for 3 hours no pain meds, mind you I have ulcers threw my back out think I have a double kidney infection my shoulders are on fire and I am anemic and have a rare blood disease, I have never felt so mistreated by a hospital after 3.5 hours i got up and went to see my daughter that is on life support on the 3rd floor. Then a nurse in the ER called and said we just noticed you left ummm yeah an hour and 20 min ago the exact amount of time my daughter was off the ventilator and breathing on her own. I was given NOTHING for pain and treated like i didnt matter! Get it together Swedish you lack in keeping patients informed you lack empathy and integrity not good for a hospitals reputation! I get that medical staff thinks you are less than if your insurance is not a big insurance company but to treat a patientts like they are less than is unethical

Swedish hospital is the place to be when things go wrong with you or your loved ones! The knowledge of the doctors and staff are exceptional and I have no doubt that the good Lord and swedish hospital saved my husband's life and will forever be so grateful and blessed! Thanks for your awesome care!!

I had such top quality care here! I was on my period and had a surgery. I was so embarrassed. But everyone was so professional. I really felt valued and looked after. I especially enjoyed a couple of nurses care. I wish I could remember all their names. I do remember Maddie in ICU. I felt like her only patient and she would anticipate my needs before I had them. She was happy to be there.

This is a good place to go to if your stroke is severe and you have no wish to be proactive in your care. They use airbeds in their stroke ward so your bed inflates and deflates all night long, which is good if you're comatose, but not if you are awakened by inflating and deflating mattresses. The doctors have no interest in modifying habits, nutrition, behavior etc., just prescriptions of the usual 3, one of which causes heavy internal bleeding. I left the place with one piece of paper - the prescription - and nothing else in hand. No test results, no follow up and it is 2 months of phone calls trying to get copies of test results. Even though I signed papers daily, not one copy of them or one paper of instructions. They finally sent me a long form to fill out which I must mail back, and they will send papers. Not one doctor or nurse really asked me anything about myself, but assumed I ate the great American diet, which I don't. Menu had just one organic item. To be fair, over easy eggs were perfect, but I doubt they were pasture raised. Lettuce was usually sad looking.

I received a letter with an application for their discount program after an expensive emergency room visit. I hadn't received a bill yet so I wondered why I got the application. There was a customer service phone number that I called from the letter, this was before the given support hours (assuming I would get a message stating as much). Nope! Immediately a real person answered my call. I think her name was Janet. After the usual security related questions the woman was able to answer all of my questions and knew exactly how billing worked for Swedish Medical Center. She explained everything to me and I was on my way in less than 5 minutes. I just couldn't believe the LACK of red tape! I didn't know who to direct this pleasant experience to so, Google Reviews it is!

Terrible experience. Admitted to the hospital but had no rooms. 30 hours in the ER where they are not used to caring for patients that are not acute! Why 30 hours? Hospital has only one ultrasound tech for the whole hospital! Dr would not release me until I had an ultrasound. 30 hours on a gurney in ER! Terrible!

Labor and Delivery here was such a fantastic experience. Cheryl and Nicole couldn’t have been more fantastic nurses, the anesthesiologist Karen was so kind and understanding and delivered the exact kind of epidural I wanted. Cheryl always went above and beyond to make sure all of my needs were met and then more, I felt so seen and heard by her and so valued. The little mementos they send you home with just are the cherry on top. I love how calm and chill this hospital is. Highly recommend birthing babies here.

Main reception was understaffed and we waited 20 minutes for check in; staff seemed stressed and unfriendly. Process was simple and easy to follow. Surgical reception and medical team were friendly, helpful, and professional. Post surgery they were understaffed and I waited uncomfortably in the recovery area for 4+ hours to be moved to real need in a patient room that was less than 2 minutes from the recovery area. In patient services were good. Comfortable bed, friendly and attentive staff, private room, food was okay. Discharge was quick and easy.

My in hospital care was outstanding. Everyone was friendly and very responsive to my needs. The nursing staff was always available for assistance . When there was a shift change in the care team the outgoing crew would stop by and introduce me to the new crew so I always knew who was on duty. They all made me comfortable knowing I was getting attention as needed. I sensed they were genuinely concerned for my health and well being. There was a reassuring smile on every face who came to assist me. The facility was neat and clean as my room was cleaned everyday including a floor mopping.

Trauma ICU was amazing. My brother was admitted just about a year ago, and I will never forget how wonderful the charge nurses and nurses were. I had a TERRIBLE experience w/ the ER doctor, giving the worst possible outcomes w/o having any type of substantial info. To the point where I was asked if I wanted to talk to the hospital chaplain - that guy needs to learn patient/family empathy skills, as well as expectation setting. After being moved to Trauma ICU, the charge nurse that night Meg was amazing. I was there w/ my parents on the phone, and she was able to give up expectation setting w/o giving outcomes she didn’t know yet. Immediately felt she undid the damage of the ER doctor. We spent a total of TWO weeks in the trauma ICU, and I cannot thank all the nurses/respiratory therapist enough for what they did for my brother. My only negative experience, was from a trauma intern (he needs to learn communication and empathy, he’s not a Dr), who said my brother could be on long term breathing tubes and/or stomach bags, and other things, after the neurologist (who was wonderful). A year later - my brother is doing great and we’ll be back just so they can meet my brother under better circumstances.

I loved my experience at Swedish Rehab Center. Top-notch physical and occupational therapists. I could not have made it without them. I was equally pleased with nursing and tech staff. However, I found that some of the equipment (e.g. the calf-pump I needed after my knee replacement surgery wasn't working). Overall, I had a great experience and the food was great too.

My 86 year old grandpa came to this ER last night and was forgotten about until the shift change this morning. My mom and grandma were greeted with a 'are you sure you're at the right hospital?' when coming to check on him. Why was he not checked on for 7 hours? Why were ER patients calling 911 just to get a nurse to respond? What's going on at this ER? I've already made a complaint to the Colorado Health Facilities & Emergency Medical Services Division so hopefully these 'doctors and nurses' will be investigated. This is unacceptable.

The wait was not bad because we arrived so early. Initially, the paramedic who got us started in the ER was rude and off-putting. I tried to ask how his day was going, but he was not interested in conversation and made sure that I knew it. It made me feel even more anxious than I already was. Once inside the room, the nurses were extremely friendly. However, they kept forgetting about us because orders weren’t being entered into the system. Our 6 hour experience could have been 4. My husband kept having to ask where anyone was. They kept apologizing for the orders having not been entered. But they were thorough and professional. Overall, 3 stars.

Satisfied with the friendly and helpful staff. The numerous pages to initial or sign at check-in was frustrating. I felt like I didn’t have time to read everything and understand what I was agreeing too. My thought was, it would of been nice if this would of been emailed or mailed to me prior to my appointment. The MRI technician was very kind and caring taking his time to explain the procedure, making sure I was comfortable and walking me to my Doctors office so I would not get lost.

Overall good care from very busy nursing staff. Occupational therapy was non existent. She came by for 5 minutes and was supposed to come back and did not. When the nurse asked if she was coming back she said "the lady is smart she can figure it out by herself ". In my opinion she showed minimal caring and concern for my well-being. It has made it tough to take care of myself.

I can’t say enough how positive and great the care I received at Swedish Medical both in the ER and also the hospital on the the Cardiac floor. Rm T325. The nurses and Dr. We’re exceptional in their attention and explaining everything being done. Nurses Jenn and Abbie were great along with all the others whose names I don’t have. My first time in an ER and hospital overnight. Even the food was very good. Also great post visit follow up Hopefully I won’t need to go back but if I do I know I will be in good hands. A great medical center and very well organized.

I spent 2 nights in Swedish following spinal surgery. Check/in was on time and prep was thorough and well done (prior to surgery). Communication w/ my spouse was well done. Transfer to nursing care smooth. I had some excellent nursing care. I also had one nurse who was disinterested. Slight confusion/delay w/ discharge, but overall good movement and help to getting me out the door.

My postoperative nurse was amazing. Tracy gave excellent care. I appreciated that she allowed me to make my own decisions. Reviewed discharge instructions so that I felt comfortable. First time I have been at your hospital as a retired nurse I was impressed. The entire staff was helpful and made me feel comfortable and at ease. My friends who brought me were also treated well. Thanks

Now that I am one year out from a serious injury and lengthy recovery I want to share my experience at this facility. When I had no control over my body I was neglected , shamed, and victimized by staff. The only good experience was my surgeon and his staff. At one point I was being force fed by staff and unable to stop it. This was an experience that I count as the worst experience of my life. Do not be admitted here by choice.

My orthopedic surgeon was phenomenal, however, my post operative care at Swedish was truly poor enough for me to feel compelled to leave a review. If you must stay at Swedish, I would really encourage you to have a family member or friend with you as often as possible because the nurse response time averages around an hour for anything you need (even when my nurse told me I was her only patient - I'm not blind to staffing shortages and try to be compassionate) Definitely do your best to advocate for yourself because the nurses really don't seem to pay attention to your Drs protocols post surgery. Mostly, you're on your own, so try try to plan ahead if you have to stay here.

This visit was life saving. I needed emergency surgery after being evaluated at Swedish SW. The surgical resident met me in the ER and took me directly to the OR when active bleeding was identified and stopped. Post-op ICU care was excellent. My nurses were the best. Thank you.

I can't say enough amazing things about this hospital, its staff, nurses and doctors and the care I received. I suffered a rare kind of stroke while on a ski vacation, was quickly airlifted to this world class facility and had the privilege of experiencing a very high level of care. The doctors, nurses and specialists took time to explain in detail all aspects of my health and took time to answer all of our questions. The food was excellent, plentiful and delivered in a very professional way. Thank you to all of the teams of caregivers who helped me recover so quickly. I survived,, am doing very well and am grateful for the level of care I received at Swedish Medical Center.

They were all amazing! Labor and delivery really respected our birth plan and educated us on options as things had to change, which gave us the opportunity to be educated before making a decision. Postpartum/ Family place was so helpful for my recovery and teaching us everything we need to know. Everyone was so sweet! Thank you all so much for helping us with our first baby!!!

I recently gave birth here and the Labor and Delivery nurses are AMAZING!! I would like to say thank you to Jamison, Kaitlyn, and Ashley for taking such great care of me while I was there for a few days. I felt so cared for and all my needs were met. They went above and beyond. The rooms are so cozy and comfortable very clean! My overall labor experience was positive and my delivery couldn’t have gone any smoother I was very happy to deliver here. Also, the NICU nurses specifically Mary and Abby were so great to my son since he was a late preterm baby. They went above and beyond as well and educated us and guided us before leaving the hospital on care for our little guy. I highly recommend delivering at this hospital as a first time mom. I’m really grateful I got to deliver here it made my first giving birth experience feel so very positive. Thank you Labor and Delivery nurses and NICU nurses for your amazing work and support!!

I had an orthopedic procedure at Swedish medical center and was thoroughly impressed with every part of this experience. Dr. White and his team were incredibly thorough, kind, and compassionate. Every single member of the team made it a point to introduce themselves and make me feel comfortable. The procedure was painless. Dr. White is internationally renowned for his labral reconstructions, so I was immensely grateful to have him be my surgeon. My night nurses, Emily, Matt, and Ben, were amazing. I stayed overnight at the new orthopedic side, which was very comfortable and clean. I am incredibly happy with this experience.

Another great experience. Everyone there was so nice. Their professionalism and personable attitudes really did a lot to put me at ease about the surgery. Seriously, I was more curious about what was going on around me before and after the surgery than I was nervous. The surgery itself was successful and it was home to recover the next day. What more can I ask. My personal thanks to the team at Swedish Medical. (and no, I don't work for them...lol )

Had surgery here. The doctor was great, phenomenal, outstanding, but when I was ready to be discharged all the nurses were missing in action. I’m guessing they need to milk the clock and insurance money since there were very few other patients on my floor? If too few patients on the floor they might have to clock out? Supposedly their phone system went down? Even so you should have a contingency plan and taking out my IV and changing the dressing shouldn’t take 90 minutes, which never happened. Really sad because the care was great yet slacking off at the end ruined an overall positive experience. If you ever want to know what could be wrong in this world, look in the mirror.

The care and compassion shown to my family in our deepest and most profound need - that’s what we will be eternally grateful for. The ER & ICU staff and Neurologists cared for my sister until the moment she passed away. They treated her with such dignity and respect and even though she wasn’t really there, they talked to her as though she was until the very end. We are so grateful that they cared for her and for us so well. Thank you ❤️ -The Family of T. Scott

I am trying to find a nurse that cared for me as I was a patient there after surgery today and would like to show my appreciation. If this is something you could help me with, I would greatly appreciate it. I had surgery with Dr. Yakes and he was amazing as well! Overall it was a very pleasant stay and I will be returning for another treatment in 5 months or so! 😊

The nurses and technicians were very good and made sure that our son's gown and bedding was clean. One tech, Dee, was especially attentive. I'd give her the Daisy award. Our last nurse, and unfortunately I've forgotten her name, was painstaking in getting questions answered by the doctor when he was elsewhere. Housekeeping was diligent and hardworking. Some angel paid it forward and charged my meal to his account. Blessings to him.

They did great at addressing my concerns when I first got there but discharge was a mess and very little information was given about my test results. I understand being busy and needing the room however speaking to a doctor about everything for longer than 30 seconds before leaving about findings in lack of would've been helpful to keep my mind at ease. If no doctor available which I understand it would be nice to have at least a print out of MRI and CT results to go on. I know I can get them just at the time it left me feeling very uncomfortable. Again, I do understand the ER was crazy that day and based on the little time I had with the doc I was non emergent at that point, just would have been better if I'd had more info.

During my hospitalization everyone was so nice and met the demands of my needs. Very professional team all the way around from the ER people, nurses, med techs, the people going around collecting blood, even the staff in the kitchen. I have never experienced service like this before. Everyone went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable during my difficult time. I loved everyone that was there to help me and did everything to get me feeling better. I will never forget all the nurses and med techs. They are all awesome and everyone did a very good job.

I recently had surgery to have a 30 year old shunt removed from my head and stomach and every single person on my team was absolutely incredible. Dr. Syre did an amazing job and was able to do more than we originally expected. My nighttime nurse Noelle was AMAZING and made sure I was comfortable and taken care of for my one night in the hospital. I was very anxious before the surgery but if I had to do it again I would have absolutely no worries with this staff on my side.

The care and love from the staff here was amazing to us. My mother was brought in by ambulance with a stroke. The doctor was very kind and explained everything to me. He even prayed with me after I got the bad news. They put us in a light filled room and let as many family members come in as we desired. The nurses were outstanding and made the experience better in their care for my Mom and us. My Mom died peacefully with family surrounding her. I cannot thank Swedish ICU enough!

I had several issues starting with a gallbladder attack right after Thanksgiving. Due to scaring and infection, instead of removing my gallbladder they installed a port into my gallbladder to drain bile and infection. I finally had the port removed February 6. I have only great things to say about my experience with Sweedish and especially the people on the radiology team.

I delivered at Swedish, and my experience was amazing! My nurse was a big part of making it through my delivery. She was both my caretaker and cheerleader. In recovery, I had great nurses that got me started off on the right foot as a new mom. And the food there was pretty good too.

I recently had back surgery at Swedish. Everyone I dealt with was incredibly helpful, kind and understanding. This was extremely important and helped to calm my nervousness about having the operation. Everything went smoothly and afterward, I was amazed it was over so soon and without any problems. (Also, I should add, the food and menu selection during my stay was excellent.) I highly recommend Swedish for any treatment you might need.

Scheduling mixed up my appointment as they forgot to remove the appointment that was rescheduled. However, the staff was able to get my test done anyway. Very accommodating. Super nice nurses and operating room staff. Very welcoming staff and made a less than exciting experience smooth and pleasant. I was impressed and would return to this hospital for any other service.

Pet Scan done recently. Appreciate wheelchairs and valet service for disabled patients at entrance so we can get to front desk and imaging dept. Very friendly and helpful staff right at the front door before you get to front desk. Extremely helpful for guiding people to the right places. Confused on mask policy as some people had masks and others did not. Wish that would have been made clearer in the waiting room for surgery / imaging.

I was in ICU for brain surgery and they were the best Team Ever! THe Nurses in the ICU unit were the best humans on the planet! Amy (day nurse) Tanner (Night nurse) took such great care of me! Caring and Helpful they handled everything. If you are ever luck enough to be their care, you will see what what I mean. Dr. Arias and his team performed the surgery and did such an amazing job. I was not awake for the work, but when I awoke my symptoms were gone! I know not everyone can be so lucky. But if you need a top tier team, this is where you go!! Thank you ALL so much for the care!

Very nice hospital with nicer people. Love the interior aesthetic being a more warm-colored and of a homely design. Really takes the edge off going into a big surgery when the whole place just looks like a nice and comfy hotel. They seem to have a sizeable menu of food here, but I could not indulge in any of it unfortunately as the surgery I got was of the jaw and was unable to eat anything but liquid. Smoothie was good at least. Plenty to watch on TV, too, even if it's just cable. Appears to be one of the highest ranking hospitals in the country and it definitely shows. Would recommend.
