Extremely sad and not very well kept, staff seemed to be pretty much nonexistent and people were sticking their hands in the tanks and the tanks were cloudy and algae growing. Completely not what we expected, the animals looked extremely sad and just not a very pleasant experience. This place should not be allowed to operate, the staff does not seem qualified. We will not go here again, the food you buy to feed the animals is not acceptable either, raw shrimp that are not refrigerated and stink and the aquarium itself was in extremely poor condition. Will notify the health department.

This was a great place not having to run all the way downtown to have an adventure like this. The fact that your can interact with so many animals, and the helpfulness yet not overbearing staff members made it a great time. A tip for going is it's absolutely worth the expense to get some additional coins to get up close and personal with some of the animals such as the wallaby, and feed the fish in the tanks, etc. Also, take your time because it's not huge so to get your money's worth, just check out all the facts and reading etc.

What a joke…. Horrible facility. Sick animals, cockroaches everywhere, dirty tanks with algae growth on everything including all aquatic and non aquatic species of animals, lastly tokens are encouraged to buy for feeding except all dispensers are completely empty. Worst employee attitude. This place needs PETA and any other agency to investigate them…. The water fountains have a severe fishy smell that would suggest it’s non potable let alone drink. The poor tortoise is roughly 75 to 100 yrs old. Looks like death worn over, hell maybe older Abraham Lincoln is Turning over in his grave if he seen this. I wouldn’t have anyone go there. Today at the end of the attraction I gave the 15 tokens that cost 30$ extra dollars besides entrance to someone else. Explained that nothing took the tokens to a group of 20 people…. I’ll send a video under cover because I will spend that money just to send to 9news investigate and the proper authorities. Please someone help this place!!!!! Gross animal cruelty and negligence!!! The spots on this fish are algae spores! The Build up on the bottom of the tank in this other photo is algae bloom red in color.

This place was super fun! Kids had so much fun. We have all toddlers and they all enjoyed it. They staff was very nice! They have stations to wash hands and restrooms inside so you don’t have to go back out into the mall. This is a way easier to do than the Aquarium downtown!

We wound up at SeaQuest accidentally since we were trying to go to the larger Denver aquarium, but it was totally worth it!!! We were able to feed quite a few animals including iguanas, sting rays, and many types of fish. (I recommend finding the baby sting rays, they are so cute!). Perfect for families or a fun-filled date! The staff were super friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. Definitely a five star experience that I would love to do again!

My 4-year-old's exact words were, "Let's get out of here. This place is making me sad.” SeaQuest was more than just disappointing; it was downright icky. The unpleasant atmosphere, small enclosures, bleak looking animals, and rundown shopping mall location all contributed to the Tiger King vibes. Even with free tickets, the experience wasn't worth it. Save yourself the discomfort; you’re better off going to the aquarium at Scheel’s, exploring the fish section at a pet store, or finding a doctor’s office with a fish tank instead. Bottom line, I’m perplexed at how this operation is legal and how there are so many 5-star reviews.

We found a great Groupon and decided to swim with sharks and Sting rays. Our in water instructor was great and knowledgeable. They provide everything you need. We also hung out with a wallaby, saw the sugar gliders and walked around. The aquarium itself is pretty small (maybe a 30 minute to hour walk around time). They have a cute gift shop and lots of animal interactions. I know there have been complaints on the cleanliness of this place, but we saw no issue and all the staff there obviously cared immensely for the animals. The snorkeling was our favorite and a great way to experience it safely.

I think it’s a pretty cool aquarium especially for being in a mall and as small as it is there’s definitely room and tons of things to see. Even as three adults we had a great time. You can touch just about everything at the aquarium and they even have little photo opportunities with the animals. The only complaint is the coins the feed the animals were a little over priced for 15 coins costing $25 .. but besides that I’d absolutely recommend bringing the family. One of my favorite aquariums.

This was such a fun hands on experience for myself and my 10 yr old daughter. So neat to be able and touch/feed animals that you normally can only look at. Daughter loved the stingray exhibit the most and we're looking to swim with them next time!

What an amazing day! I have to say we were bouncing back and forth between here and the aquarium and decided we knew what to expect at the aquarium so we decided to make our way to sea quest. It did not disappoint at all! We had so much fun seeing, interacting, and learning about the amazing animals and fish. We will for sure be back. The staff was fantastic! So friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks for a great experience!

We had a great time today! Feeding the animals was a lot of fun. It was nice that they had places to go if they didn’t want to be disturbed. The stingrays were my favorite. This place is surprisingly big for being in a mall. I love that you can have interactions with the staff present so that the animals stay safe. We went to the Denver zoo a few weeks ago and we had a much better time here than we did there. Getting right up close to the animals and interacting with them is wonderful for the kids and the adults.

The interactive experience is awesome. Expect to get wet while feeding the different sea creatures. The rainbow bird feeding was awesome, you can have 2 or 3 birds on your arms at a time. Stingray feeding tank reminds me of being back home on the islands.

We got free tickets online and decided to try it out. The facility is a little run down but it's nice overall. Most of animals seem to be well cared for. Major issues were (1) they weren't getting people through the doors quickly. Even considering the fact that you don't want a packed facility, they could have done a far better job at moving people in; we waited for over 2 hours to get our turn. (2) I'm glad we didn't pay for too many food tokens because most of the food dispensers were empty and we couldn't feed most animals if we'd wanted to. All in all, it's a decent experience it was understaffed at the front and run so poorly that we really only stayed for half an hour or so, mostly because we were so tired of waiting that we wanted to leave.

SeaQuest hosted my daughter's birthday party. We had it at 11 am on a Friday and it was amazing! Jenny was our host, and she could not be more inviting and helpful. She was the perfect hostess. Nick helped me several times with answering questions and aiding in selling me extra coins and pointing me in the right direction for different animals. I highly recommend a visit here. They care for the animals so well, and Jenny was so knowledgeable about the care and background of all of the animals and sealife.

Written by my daughter Zainab: Here at SeaQuest there are many amazing animals such as sharks, stingrays, snakes, hedgehogs, bunnies, toucans and many others! It is a really fun place, especially if you meet Lexie! Lexie is very passionate, thoughtful, helpful, and knowledgeable. She shared so much information such as showing us shark eggs, which was very fascinating and cool to learn. If you have any questions about the animals then you can ask her!❤️🤗She was very friendly and patient and made my experience very memorable, I will never forget her! She made my experience at SeaQuest 10 times better. She taught me amazing things. P.S. If you go to SeaQuest I recommend feeding the stingrays😃. I hope she never leaves SeaQuest:)!

Had a great time here..The sharks and animals were cool..We did like feeding them but the only thing was the food machines didn't also dispense the same amount of food every time..There were a couple times we barely got any food out of the machines,. And for the price of the tokens they should give more I feel..

This place was absolutely amazing! Doing the experiences makes it even better. We did the Safari one with Emily (who by the way was amazing and so knowledgeable and patient with my 6 year old) I felt like we did so much and created memories that will last a lifetime. Cant wait to come back.

This was such an amazing experience. Do yourself a favor and buy the tokens. You can interact with almost all the animals with tokens and it’s worth every Penny. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My whole family enjoyed this experience and we will come back every time we are here.

Had a great experience here! You can buy a pass and go through, then leave and go shopping in the mall, eat food, etc, then return with your wrist band. They had machines spread out where you could feed animals. Such a cute, entertaining place!

Cute place. It is definitely small. You can go through the entire place in 15 minutes, even with taking your time. There are some interactions that can be planned ahead of time or done on site if there is availability.

This place was great! Easy to find in Southwest Plaza (level 1 by Dillards). Groupon was the way to go for the $$$- super amazing display of exotic aquatic animals & animals from around the world! Perfect for the young ones! Get the tokens to participate in the feedings/interactions…. The tortoise was our favorite!!!

We were visiting the area on a family vacation to Silverthorne and surrounding areas. Our 14 year old daughter found this amazing place on google search. We called ahead and purchased the ultimate safari pack. This is an extra charge on top of the $19.99/ person admission tickets. We received a 25% discount on our tickets for booking over the phone. We arrived approximately 30 minutes early. Check in was simple and then we wandered around inside taking in all the animals while waiting for our personal guided experience to begin. I highly recommend purchasing the safari pack for kids and adults that want to hold and handle the animals. Our guide was great. He gave interesting facts about the animals we encountered. We got to go behind the scenes, feed many animals, and hold many animals. Our daughter just couldn’t get enough and asked to snorkel with the sting rays. Unfortunately SeaQuest staff is unable to do same day bookings for the simple facts of staff has to prepare for the experience and they were already booked for the day. The staff was super kind and said that they’d be happy to book our daughter for the following day. Unfortunately we are pulling out first thing in the morning to head home so our daughter will not get to snorkel. We understood and did not let this change our feelings about our overall experience. Our family highly recommends visiting this fun and interactive place. Lots of animals to touch and feed. 10/10 we would visit again! We spent nearly 3 hours here.

Seriously a hands down best experience I’ve ever experienced. Had all sorts of animals and interactions along the way. Staff was really knowledgeable and very happy to talk about the animals with us and where they come from. Seriously very friendly staff I will for sure be coming again because of them. They even let us in the birds exhibit and showed us how to properly feed them + the wallaby. Very happy we found this Gem in this city and I can’t wait to be back. SEAQUEST STAFF- YOU GUYS ROCK AND CONTINUE TO BEING ANIMAL LOVERS I APPRECIATED EVERY MINUTE OF MY VISIT!!

Went during the Labor Day weekend using a special rated discount the hubby found. I would suggest going through the weekday as this visit was a bit heavier with visitor traffic than normal. Exhibits are nice and well kept with continuous animal interaction and helpful friendly staff at every turn. This is our 2nd trip here, and there is always something new to see.

We came here for our sons 3rd birthday. It was so much fun. Even my 13 year old enjoyed interacting with the animals. But what made it so much more special was Mermaid Alice. She was so sweet and made the experience magical. She is AMAZING.

Nice staff. Kids loved this place and they have unique animals to feed and pet. The albino wallaby was super adorable. The birds experience was well worth it!

We just went there last week with my little guy who is 1 year old. We had such a great time and my son was able to interact with a lot of animals that we had seen behind glass before at other zoos. The staff was so friendly and one staff member Kari was so kind and helped my son feel safe when he was afraid interacting with the birds and by the end of the interaction she made him feel brave and proud of himself and excited to gently interact with more animals. They taught my son so much and I couldn't be more grateful that he was able to have such a positive first experience with wild animals! My only downside that continues to stick out in my mind was that we had a hard time finding any signage for SeaQuest telling us it was inside of the Southwest Mall (which we found out is due to the mall refusing to allow them to advertise outside of the mall which gave me a pretty negative feeling about the mall considering they should be grateful for all the business they get from people coming for the aquarium but I digress.)

We had a lot of fun here. We got there at 1 and the feedings were done. So we didn't get to feed the animals. They put out a limit of food so the animals don't get over feed. They were a little short staffed. But we still had fun. They gave us places online where we could get discount coupons. We could still do the touch a fish area and it was really cool all the different kinds of animals they had. Our whole family had a great time.
