A very beautiful park to visit in downtown Denver during sunset! You can definitely get your skating shoes too! The sunset behind the mountains is a sight to see!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We love coming to Sloan Lake. It is family-friendly; a beautiful lake that provides great views of Denver. It has a really nice walking trail around the entire lake that one can complete in an hour. One is also allowed to kayak in the lake with a permit… or skip stones with your kids. Great gem in the center of the Edgewater neighborhood.

It's beautiful and dogs friendly, the sunset is amazing there, the only thing there I didn't like is the bathrooms was so dirty.

Another one of Denver's fine parks! This offers a huge lake with more bird watching opportunities and small craft on the lake. Highly recommend for any family outing.

We rented a VRBO condo off of Yates just south of the lake. Perfect location to get around the city. Very quiet area.Walked around the lake almost every day. A little under 3 miles. Very easy walk. Great views of the mountains and the city skyline. Fun watching the geese everywhere, and the changing of the water as it froze into ice over the Christmas holidays

Very nice lake/park. Lots of family, couples, friends and single person(s) activity going on from skating, bike riding, joggers, walkers, dog walking, water sports, fishing, baseball, tennis, etc.. I'm disabled and use a walker to get around with so I'm grateful that the parking lots and paved paths around the park are smooth and disabled persons friendly! Yay!!!🀩

Got to enjoy the dragon boat festival here with surrounding open space and great lake , couldn't be better. The event itself is worth coming to with inspired Asian, islander food, art and traditions. Tried the chicken teriyaki on a stick with fried rice, goodness in every bite.

Picture a beautiful day for a hike around the lake. The sun was shining. The birds were singing. The birds. The angry, angry birds! As I made my way around the lake with blissful abandon, I was struck in the mouth by hatred from above. At first, I thought it was an insect but I soon realized it was much worse…. bird poop…. in my mouth. It then occurred to me that those beautiful birdsongs were nothing more than malicious bird taunts, mocking me. Now I might have parasites. One Star!

Literally hundreds of people seem to always be here now and literally 98% are not only not wearing a mask but don’t even have one on them, check the cdc sites this is a hotspot for that reason, selfish people have ruined this park!

Nice little spot but don't bother bringing your bike. I'm glad people are out and about again post covid But there are so many people leisurely strolling or too deep into their airpods to notice their own surroundings that you have to screech to a halt every few feet! Not to mention the surrounding streets and pavement are unkept deathtraps for riders to get there. I'm sure it's fine for a picnic but if you bike you're better off elsewhere.

My favorite spot to rollerblade and walk on with friends, after work, or on a sunny weekend day. It's pleasant, albeit a bit windy and crowded and times, but the location being in the city is convenient, and it's fun to see people water skiing!

It is a great park to walk around. I knew the lake isn't the cleanest but was desperate to get out on the paddle board for a little bit and figured it would be fine. Within 2 hours of leaving, my both of my eyelids were completely swollen and I have an infection. I didn't swim in the lake just a few droplets from the paddle. Definitely don't recommend being in the water.

This is the best area of Denver in my opinion. I moved here a year ago from Tennessee & this neighborhood here is gorgeous. So beautiful, peaceful. You see nice family's enjoying the picnic areas or playgrounds. Everyone has their dogs out enjoying the walks also! I feel very safe visiting this park.

I laid my Chambo here, came back in 6 months and it had grown into a beautiful plitplat. Needless to say, this is the best park I've even stepped feet in.

I give it 1 star for the lack of restroom facilities. They are remodeling it but even with the one currently in place, its closed and in its place are port-a-lets, called Honey Buckets which are poorly servicedand us a health issue. Safety is such a concern, be aware of those on electric uniwheels, scooters, and bicycles on the pedestrian pathways/sidewalks. 2 weeks ago, a young jogger was almost assaulted by 3 males on uniwheels because she got "in their way" and made one of them fall accidentally. Fortunately, a male jogger stopped and came to her aid. I watched this from a distance; one of many incidences of many where the safety rules are not being followed. Sloan's lake was and could be great with more safety patrol and clean restroom access.

I really enjoyed the view. Although very busy was quiet. Enjoyed people walking and happy. Many were picnicking. Watching dogs walking with owners was fun. Had a chance to pet a few. Beach area was a great surprise. Watching the water activities "good" Negative - Shore line need to be clean regularly. Seeing dead fish and trash wasn't good.

Sloane's lake is LARGE! Perfect to run or walk around, and know that the view changes as you go, from cityscape to mountains. In the heat of summer people are using the lake for water-skiing and fun, school buses bring kids for kayaking and the windlife around the park is fabulous. We stayed in Wheat Ridge and really enjoyed this area. Sloan Lake was a great place to walk everyday.

I moved in this past March, and have really enjoyed living here so far. Mayra and Andrea were both very helpful during my application and move-in process. The pool and dog park are a huge plus. This is a very dog-friendly apartment community, so if you're a dog owner it's worth checking out the property.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Such a beautiful loop to walk, run, rollerblade or skateboard. It’s paved all the way around, there are always lots of people out taking advantage of the wonderful weather. Plus you can’t beat the view! The mountains are on one side and the city is on the other.
