Such a beautiful loop to walk, run, rollerblade or skateboard. It’s paved all the way around, there are always lots of people out taking advantage of the wonderful weather. Plus you can’t beat the view! The mountains are on one side and the city is on the other.

Well-maintained and an absolutely gorgeous park throughout the year. One of the centerpieces of this part of Denver. There's an awesome Dragon Boat festival that takes place here during the summer! Otherwise a great spot to come through for a run.

not that i know all of them, but that’s my absolute fave park in Denver. outstanding view of the mountains, great round length for exercising, clean trails... it’s just beautiful and pleasant in all ways, everywhere you look at. perfect, easy, fast nature escape from the city.

You most definitely cannot be the sights from this park. You get awesome mountain sites on one side and city sites on the other with a beautiful lake in the middle. The walking path is well maintained and the park is usually populated with runners, walkers, dogs, etc. The only complaint about this place is the amount of goose poo on the grass and walking paths. But the beautiful sites far outweigh this problem. Just wear scrubby shoes and you’re good to go!

Love this lake. Walking the loop around the lake takes about an hour (2.7 miles) and you get a beautiful view of the mountains!

Grew up coming here and spending time with family, even went to school across the street. Definitely holds a nostalgic place for me. I appreciate how this lake has developed into a more beautiful place than ever. We will be back!

Great open park and lake in the City.

Sloan’s lake is one of my favorite parks in Denver. The loop around the lake is absolutely gorgeous; one side is the city and the other side is the mountains view. My favorite activity is to go to Happy Lemon, get a drink, and walk around the lake with company. Highly recommend!

It's a beautiful lake

Great lake walk with amazing views just outside Denver. Around 2.5miles, takes about 45minutes to do (can be done sooner but my dog likes to sniff something every 10 seconds). Plenty of big fields to play in, there is a playground and pump loop on the south side of the lake as well as a basketball court. FREE Parking lots fill up quickly on the weekends but there is lots of come and go traffic so it's not too hard to find parking. Street parking available as well. Restaurants are within walking distance from the path around the lake. Bikers, dogs, rollerblades, skateboards, scooters, all welcomed here.

Great lake to run or walk around. Such beautiful scenery. This park could definitely use more lights for when the sun starts to go down. It does start to get really dark and scary.

We love taking walks around this lake. Our dogs love everything about this walking trail. Our kids and we love all of the safe places to ride their bikes or scooters. I love that this lake is walking distance from our house, it is a treat to be near water so close to the city.

Awesome lakeside park and boardwalk. Great views, wide walkways, wildlife sightings. Eateries, restrooms and craft rental are open seasonally. Lots of goose poop, so be careful where you step.
