** Update ** Scott is very rude! After leaving a 3 star review Scott Matheu contacted me to argue over my review. Scott will claim his intention was to see what “they could do better” for starters don’t treat your customers like their stupid. Also learn some manors Scott when you are faced with confrontation Sir. The way you acted and handled yourself on the phone with me on 9/6/2022 was embarrassing; especially since you are the owner of the store and you called me. Scott you raised your voice to me, you interrupted me several times when I was trying to speak and make my point, so I see why you have quite a few negative reviews. Scott you were unprofessional at best in this situation. Do you see the irony? Its sad that I had to hang up on you. I do not recommend you work with Scott Matheu. I originally had a 1-2 good experiences at Matheu’s working with Sam. However since I have stopped shopping here, and have now turned to buying Rolex watches from an Authorized Dealer, I realize Matheu’s is a bit expensive for the timepieces you can buy. This is a mid level jewelry at very best and while you can usually find 1-2 used Rolex inside, you will pay way over retail. I can’t say I’d go back in after I recently had Sam worked me up a quote to fix my Oris Aquis Titanium: $400 for the bezel, $200 for the repair plus Denver tax so around $700 and 8 weeks wait at a minimum. This timepiece cost on average about $2200-2400 brand new, and you can find mine discounted. There’s absolutely no way I’d pay 1/3 of the price of the watch to fix it; especially when Oris does not hold its value nor will it ever go up. Also let’s be honest, it’s not that damaged: see the photos. This quote honestly blew my mind, so much so I can’t say I’ll even fix it. I’ll probably just sell this watch for cheap and let it be a lesson learned. My authorized Rolex dealer charges me $700-1000 for a 10 year service, that is of course none of the internal or external parts need to be replaced. Let my Oris mistake help guide you away from Matheu’s Average Watches and into a timepiece you’ll love forever and want to pass down to your children/family.

Technically they fixed my jewelry and it's fine. But it took them weeks for something that would be days anywhere else. I feel unwelcome from the moment I walked in the store. Extremely poor communication about status and expectations throughout the process. And they never actually bothered to close the claim with my insurance company, and it's been over 6 months. The final straw was when today, I discovered that someone had used my customer information to add me to an unsolicited mailing list for the store. Absolutely will not be back.

Matheu's helped facilitate restoration of a 1965 Omega Constellation for me. My initial contact was Sam, who explained the process and what to expect. Due to the pandemic and the fact the watch had to be sent to the factory in Switzerland the 6-8 week timeline turned into 6 months. Regardless, I was not in a hurry and the wait was worth it! I picked up the watch today. The restored watch looks absolutely stunning and runs flawlessly. I highly recommend Matheu's for your jewelry or repair needs, Sam, Scott and Kim have proven to be extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the process and helpful with any questions! Thank you for all your help!

They did a service on my watch and it came back working great. Also what I am happy about is that my kid bent my band and I took it in for another repair and they fixed it right there! Thanks Guys you made my day a lot better!

Matheu's has by far exceeded my expectation. Amanda was amazing in helping design the perfect ring. I went in not knowing what I wanted. Great place to do business with. Did a great job of repairing my wristwatch. For over 25 years I’ve been taking items of jewelry, watches etc. to Matheu’s for repair and have also purchased items from them. I have always had excellent service over these years and that’s why I keep returning to them.

Great service from a family owned shop, everyone is friendly, engaged and helpful. I recommend them for purchase, parts and service; stay away from the mall stores and get help you can trust from a local company. I have had a mechanical watch serviced, battery replaced, bands sized, parts ordered etc. You will not be disappointed coming here.

First time watch shopping for my husband. Staff was very helpful and found several options in my price point. They even offered to clean my ring for me while they wrapped up the watch! Very happy with my experience.

Wonderful spot! Today was my first experience at the store and it was wonderful! I showed up a bit late in their day, about 45 mins before closing time. I was greeted as soon as I came in, found exactly what I needed and even picked up a new citizen watch to take home. The gal that helped me was awesome, didn't rush me at all, she helped me find a watch, let me try on multiple options, she was knowledgable, very kind, and took her time with me one on one even as more people came in minutes until close. I noticed every person that came in was greeted and even at the last minute not one person was left unattended or without help getting what they came in for. The jewelry selection was great, prices were great, I will definitely go back again. All in all it's a wonderful little spot for your jewelry needs, highly recommend!

Excellent. My TAG watch was on when I shorted a battery, causing it to glow bright red with extreme heat, burning my arm with blisters. I instantly yanked it off and it landed on concrete. The braclet links were even welded together due to the extreme heat. Mathews repaired it, fixed the burn hole mark and polished it like new. All for very little money in my opinion. Thanks for saving my TAG!! And Scott, thank you for personally calling me and doing above and beyond what I would have expected.

Matheus fine watches is my go to for any watch repair / service I may ever have. They are very professional, honest, trustworthy and fairly priced. The service is great with all the updates and notifications. As a bonus they have done beautiful jewelry that’s always great to browse through for gift ideas! Very much recommend.

The woman who helped us was very professional and so kind. She was able to look up my old order of which watch I purchased and put in an order for another one. It got delivered to the store within a week!

I have purchased many items from this store over the past 15 years but my favorite is a custom necklace I recently had made. I came in with a loose stone that was my grandmas. Amanda was amazing to work with and designed a simple but elegant piece by putting the stone at an angle and adding small diamonds around it. I love it!!! Thanks Amanda, you were awesome to work with! Now I can wear an old stone in a fresh and modern way.

I visited yesterday for my first time. There were a couple watches I was interested in but before seeing them, I admired from the counter and observed the team with other customers. What I saw was very friendly, exceptional service. Whether it be someone needing a bracelet resized or jewelry shopping. It was enough to convince me this is a good place to give my business to. The price I received was very fair and the service was perfect. This will definitely be my go to for any watch services after learning about their staff and equipment, and somewhere I’ll return if I’m ever eyeing a brand they offer.

I have bought several watches from Matheu’s over the years. They are incredibly helpful , honest and have the best follow up maintenance if you need it. Sam always recognizes his customers and takes time to chat. The gals are always welcoming when you walk in the door. In these days of buying online I always choose to purchase from Matheu’s for great pricing and aboveboard customer service!

Absolutely everyone was helpful in getting me the exact watch I wanted, the staff was very friendly too. I’m pleased with the no pressure approach. I was shown the watches I asked about and suggestions were made that I appreciated, but at no time was I pressured. I will return and have already suggested this store to friends. This is a great store, the service is the best. I have been to this store twice, once in nice work clothes after work and once after working in the the yard, smelly and grimy. I was treated the same both times. No snobbery here - if you’re not in the market for a high end watch, don’t sweat it. I had two watches repaired at a fair price and was treated great. They also have a great selection of grail watches and some nice pre- owned watches as well. I almost went for the pre owned Tudor Black Bay that was at a great price, but just couldn’t get that past congress (wife).

Have been waiting 5 years to get my mom’s ring (passed to me from my Dad after she passed away) repaired because the first bid I got was so expensive. Was shocked at how affordable & fast Matheu’s was. Have purchased a watch here previously and have had some other repairs done. Always great service.

I love working with Matheu’s for jewelry design! I brought in some jewelry from my mom and my wedding ring and they helped design a beautiful ring set using the gems and diamonds from both pieces of jewelry! They were also able to help my son design a wedding ring set using some of the parts of both pieces as well. Both pieces are very sentimental and very meaningful! They were great to work with!!

I was very hesitant to let someone work on my expensive timepiece and I really didn’t want to ship it overseas. I waited way too long to get my watch fixed but Matheu’s was great! They called me once they figured out what was wrong, stuck to the timeline and price they told me and my watch works and looks better now then when I bought it brand new! Oh and the repairs came with a 3 year warranty! I’m excited to do business with Matheu’s more in the future. It was a great experience!!! Very impressed and excited.

It was truly a gift to meet and experience old-fashioned, respectful and intimate professionalism. The sales staff at Matthews Fine Watches and Jewelry helped me find the perfect watch for my 21-year-old niece/goddaughter. They asked all the right questions and offered abundance of knowledge about each of the brands of watches that I was seeking to purchase. During the time spent to make the purchase it was obvious that each staff member was a part of a team that included the customer as part of that team as well.
