Ganga Temple at Haridwar. Haridwar is famous for Har ki Pauri and it's Ganga Aarti. Ganga aarti means worship of Ganga.

One of the best ganga mandir in India! Tourist spot and religious at the same time. Ganga aarti in evening should not be missed

A nice place to give one holy visit, with religious ambience, the only thing which troubles here is the persons who without any credible credentials move around the ghats and try to extort money from the gullible pilgrims who don't know about their hard earned money where it will end up, so just beware of them. Rest the whole experience was fulfilling and satisfying. I'd say just give it a try and do not forget to take a towel and change over clothes to the ghat, otherwise you might feel left out of a golden chance of bathing there.

Spiritual. Historic The temple is devoted to Goddess Ganga and holds a historical significance for tourists as well as for people visiting for Ganga Darshan At twilight, the magnificent Ganga Aarti can be seen at the shores of Ganga and at the temple. Although it's not quite temple, because you can hear the sound of people bathing, bhajans on loudspeakers and the running water of Ganga. Must visit if you are in Haridwar.

There are many ancient temples, ashrams and tapovans in Haridwar, the pilgrimage and Kumbh city situated on the banks of the Ganges. There is Shakti Trikon here, that is, there are three main temples of Mata. Mansa Devi, Chandi Devi and Mahamaya Shaktipeeth. There is a bank called Brahmakund on the banks of the Ganges where the Kumbh Mela is organized. There are many ancient temples and places here. Ganga Mandir is one of them.
