Food here is amazing. I wish I grabbed a picture of the appetizer. Spinach artichoke dip, it's an absolute must, so good. I ordered black forest sandwich. It has turkey, cheese, apples, raisons and thousand Island dressing. I removed the dressing and the sandwich was not dry and everything blended together perfectly. My husband got the Cranberry turkey wrap that too was delicious, just a wonderful place to eat. People who work there are amazing Edit: Came back for the artichoke dip... so delicious

When ever I'm in Hamburg I make sure to dine at the Poppyseed Resturant. Food is always fresh and delicious! Lunch menu features healthy entrees and a variety of salads to choose from. I recommend the bird salad..It's a large salad and has ginger chicken roasted beats onion chickpeas. Lots of leftovers to take home for dinner. Bar menue includes wine IPA and draft beer. Service is always excellent. The booths are comfortable and tables are available for your choosing. The Menu also offers a variety of soups and chili.

One of my FAVORITE spots in the southtowns! Everything on their menu sounds so delicious, but it’s hard for me to waver from my one of my two “go to’s” I LOVE the Lemon Verbena Bowl! But pictured is the cashew chicken croissant sandwich! Soooo good! So are their homemade chips!!! On top of that- SUPER friendly servers and staff! ❤️

Absolutely delicious! First time here and won't be the last. I ordered the homemade asparagus soup and the steak Gorgonzola basalmic mushroom salad. Everything was fresh and tasty. Even down to the dressings. I got balsamic and also salsa ranch. 10/10. The service was also lovely.

Delicious food and great service! I will be going back in the future! I took my vegan wife there for date night and we had an appetizer, main dish and a couple drinks each and was still very affordable comparative to my experiences with nice sit-down restaurants! We also ordered take out a week later with equally delicious results!

I came here once with my mom years ago and loved it. Came here today with my partner and we really like the food. I ordered the chicken fajita wrap. The only downside was that the end of the "wrap" was not "wrapped" and a third of the filling fell out of the opening. It's a wrap and should be wrapped. My partner ordered the April shower salad and that was also delicious. I do wish they had side options that would've been nice

We are a regular at this place but just had a bad experience that turned us off… I ordered a salad that I always get and in the middle of eating, not even half way through, I noticed a bug in my salad. I politely let the server know and she immediately questioned where the bug came from (we were sitting inside too by the way). She grabbed my plate and came back and goes “alright they took it off” and then walked away. No apology was given at any point or any offer of another dish, very upsetting. I didn’t even care about the salad getting off our bill, I am more upset that I left still hungry and did not revive any bit of sympathy. We are used to excellent service and love the food but this was extremely disappointing to experience.

We love The Poppyseed! We have been going for years. The service and food have always been excellent. We had April Showers and Jamaican salads. The food is unique and very fresh. Poppyseed is always busy. I recommend this restaurant to everyone who asks what's good in the Hamburg area.

We LOVE Poppyseed!! With little kids it’s hard to get out so we do curbside about once a week. Prices are a little steep but the food is just so good! Obsessed with the chicken finger wrap. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had our first date here, 10 years ago, and to this day WE LOVE it. Amazing food and great service. So glad to have a gem like the Poppy Seed Restaurant in our town.

So delicious! We order takeout from poppyseed a few times a month. I had the jolly green giant salad and it was the best salad I've had from there. I wish you would add it to the actual menu. Love it!

Went for dinner Friday night, very busy but we were able to get a table for two without a wait. We both had salads. They were delicious. I had the Greek chicken salad and the chicken was so tender and flavorful. Our waitress Deanna was so bubbly and sweet. She was GREAT! Definitely will be back and recommend!!!!

Totally recommend! This place what a pleasant surprise. The coffee, the service, my salad, top-notch! About 20% more on the dollar I expected to spend but you received such value and quality. It was Delicious & enough leftover. I am an active reviewer and I give this two thumbs up.

This is one of my families favorite places. We usually order and get curbside pickup, but s friend took me to lunch there and the staff were very pleasant, the food delicious as always and the restaurant very clean.

I just had Poppyseed cater my mom's 70th birthday. I had such a great experience with Poppyseed. Sherry was awesome and kept communication open. She was friendly and professional. The day of the party the food was loaded into my car promptly and I didn't have to do anything! The food was delish and everyone raved about the Baja pasta, the salad and the baby red potatoes! The roast beef with the Castanzo rolls were great! Although we had some leftovers they were quickly snatched up by adoring guests! Thank you for such a great experience!

Poppyseed is an absolute gem! If you want to treat your taste buds to an evening of pure bliss, this is the place to go. I'm still dreaming of the home-made chips that came with the Santa Fe rice dinner 🤤🤤🤤

We had dinner here. The menu was soups, salads, chicken sandwiches and wraps and burgers. The meals are simple but feature fresh fruits and vegetables. We had French onion soup, Greek salad and chicken wraps. Wine and beer only. Our server was excellent. Atmosphere was plain, mostly booths. Price was moderate. We paid $120 for our meals including a generous tip for good service.

We were traveling and found this place online. It has great reviews and now I see why. Delicious food with variety, attentive and friendly staff, and fair prices. If we are in the area again (it is just off the Thruway), we will revisit.

I had the steak cobata and my wife had a burger. Both were good. The only con is they charge you for extras, like tomatoes and if you ask for extra onion. Drop these extra charges and it would be perfect.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant. it's so cozy in there, every seat is a booth!! The food is delicious no matter what you order and I've always had great service. My favorite is the chicken fajita wrap with chips. (I would LOVE if they turned the inside of the wrap into a dip served with chips for an appetizer 😋)

I had a nice lunch with a friend. Food and service were great. It was a bit loud for my liking but nevertheless a very good time 🥗.

Poppyseed does not have a dedicated gluten free menu, however the staff was well informed about the dietary need. They did have gluten free wraps and buns. My daughter wanted to order fries but the worker indicated that if she was strict GF then she needed to opt for carrots sticks or something else.

Our waitress last night was fantastic. I asked her to have the chef create a salad for me with a few things not included they did a fabulous job very accommodating. You don't see this from a lot of establishments nowadays people just don't seem to want to work that was not the case here

Wow! I have to say I was beyond surprised with how good my lunch was from here. Went with a friend and we split our meals so I could write a proper review. I ordered the Belgian Burger ($18) which was one of the best burgers I've had in recently memory. The buns were waffles and aside from a bourbon and brown sugar-seasoned patty it came with bacon, mozzarella cheese and a grilled slice of pineapple. It was sooooo good! It came with a side of "sidewinder" fries. My friend ordered the Violet Beauregarde sandwich ($17) which was crazy concoction that worked with Grilled blueberry bread, Cajun chicken, gorgonzola cheese and arugula. It had a blueberry glaze on top and came with sweet potatoes fries. This was also very delicious and I'm lowkey jealous I didn't order for myself instead of just getting half, haha. The service was friendly and food came out fast. Highly recommend checking them out and I definitely would go back even if I'm not in the area.

Super nice restaurant. Last time I was there was many years ago. The food was very good. Menu not overwhelming with too many choices. Wait staff were excellent friendly and helpful. Only drawback for me was only served wine and beer.

Great service and food!! Our waitress Marina was attentive and efficient as well as super-fun. The food was very reasonably priced and beautifully presented with tastiness to match the visual appeal. Try the spinach artichoke dip and the French onion soup. Highly recommend!!

While I've eaten here a few times, this time really soured my experience here. I ordered the chicken bruschetta for take out and the dish had little piece of metal in it. Plus they forgot my side soup 😔
