Amazing restaurant!!! Fantastic staff and atmosphere, some of the best food in Buffalo. We have eaten here and had take out, would recommend to all! The lobster 🦞 ravioli and linguine are as delicious as they look with a large portion to boot!

Solid 3 course meal and local wines. Scallops cooked perfectly. Risotto was well seasoned. Cocktail shrimp was not well cleaned but, well presented. We will return. The service dare I say was perfect. Haven't given a triple digit tip in over 10 years. Thomas and the rest of the front of the house staff were completely on point.

Tried this restaurant about 5 years ago and it was terrible, the chicken was rubbery, there was just nothing about anything we had that was better than mediocre. Although the dessert we had was good. We decided to give it another try after someone was raving about the short ribs. We had to get a reservation months in advance. I was expecting the food to be much better since it's always so busy. I'll start with the positives, service was good, food came out fairly quickly, they serve pretty good bread with both butter and olive oil dip, and all of that was really good. The french fries are fresh cut and those were also good, although the garlic and gorgonzola dipping sauces were quite bland. The key lime pie was fantastic although it was a pretty small piece for $12, extremely overpriced! Everything on the menu is overpriced. They had a sweet potato maple bourbon bisque that was really great, creamy texture and great flavor. My friend got the pork belly but was unimpressed. I was so excited for the short ribs, the waiter said they had been braised all day and that it's a customer favorite. It was so disappointing, I went to cut into it with my fork expecting it to be tender and fall apart and it was so tough I had to use a knife to cut it, it was not tender. Flavor was mediocre. But the texture was extremely disappointing. The mashed potatoes were decent, nothing to write home about...as was the asparagus. Will definitely not be back, way overpriced for disappointing quality. If you want delicious, fork tender, fall off the bone, melt in your mouth, short rib... go to vault@237. response to owner* - actually the waiter said maybe it was a "bad cut" or fatty- that WASNT the issue. they were not cooked properly to be tender. why would i wait around for you to cook them for another 30 minutes til they were as tender they shouldve been in the 1st place?! as for bringing in water bottles- we arent interested in drinking chemical tap water...i review restaurants regularly and you are the only person that has ever said a word about it...so no, "most" restaurants do not have that policy. you say you "allowed" us, as if you think you have the right to control if people drink their own filtered water. thats absurd!

Exceeded my expectations. Absolutely amazing service, and the food? To die for! Everything from start to finish was superb. My husband ahead of time even called the restaurant and had them put a cute lil note on our table🥰. I can not WAIT to come here again. My new favorite 😍. I got the short rib, literally fell off the bone! And he got the tomahawk steak, HUGE. We also got a side of tobacco onions, which was a massive side as well, it tastes like onion ring chips 😋. Once again amazing, incredible, beyond perfect. ALL OF IT 🙌🏼

Living in buffalo all you hear about is Lucia’s on the lake as one of the best places to eat . Well then people might start researching more and asking people who actually enjoy going out and enjoying great food because I was not impressed at this price point . First off I waited 3 months for a reservation witch is insane to me this isn’t Vegas. I’m just a city boy trying to enjoy some amazing food . Started off at the beginning with a bad experience sitting waiting 20 minutes for a server to even approach our table witch I can understand if they didn’t have the staff witch wasn’t the case Wasn’t even offered bread like all the other tables around us witch definitely made me feel like we were being treated differently. So we had to order the bread board .After having to pick different options to what we originally wanted to order because they were sold out . If you are going to be concerned a steak house I would recommend not selling out on your most expensive steak . The appetizers calamari and bread board was very good . Are dinners were also very good but nothing special the short ribs was definitely not on point and the seafood pasta well it was seafood pasta .Like I said wasn’t my first choice would have loved to have a tomahawk but like I said that was sold out and other steak options also the only steak that was available was the Japanese Wagyu. Would I go back maybe and try something thing else and hopefully have a better experience.

Wow, firstly I’d like to say that I was so excited for these reservations as I was celebrating my birthday, and originally was going to cancel because my partner could not make it. But my friend convinced me not to, and I’m glad she did. We were seated at a table facing the water, and then greeted by such an incredible wait staff. We had the bang bang shrimp (at the recommendation of a friend), the calamari and the tobacco onions to start. The portions are so large we sort of laughed as we were 2 girls just having dinner. We ordered the 18oz Strip and the Jambalaya Pasta for our entrees and it was even MORE food than we could have imagined. For the price point this place a true treasure, and the reservation books being full is a clear indictation of just that.

From the moment you walk in the door, you feel special. Seated promptly with water and cocktails. If you are lucky enough to have Thomas as your waiter, you are in for a treat! His humor and attentiveness made the night even more enjoyable. The food. Oh the food! Pics do not do them justice. This was not your corner Chinese takeaway joint Crab Rangoon. Delicious. Always end the dinner with a Brimley for dessert, no matter how full you feel. Lucia's never disappoints. Kudos to Jay and his amazing team.

Delicious!! Worth the hype based on the flavor of the food, personal service, and gorgeous views. I had the Jambalaya (contains shrimp, Andouille sausage, and chicken) - excellent flavor. The rest of my party enjoyed the seafood linguine, strip steak, and short rib. I tried them all and they were excellent. We also shared pork belly for the table. If you like fatty bacon with tons of flavor, you’ll love it! Reservations are necessary (weeks to months in advance), but if you go upon opening, you may be able to snag a table for an early dinner

A fantastic fine dining restaurant. Top notch food all around with great drinks specials. Seafood and meat dinner selections are nothing short of spectacular. If you like lobster, the Lobster Linguini is for you. So much lobster!!! The portions are more than accommodating to even the biggest appetites.

It was my first time dining here and I wasn’t sure what to expect. This place is 5 mins from my house and it’s usually booked out for 6 months and the parking lot is always a zoo. It’s unusual to not be able to secure a reservation in this area for that long so I was curious to try it. Most people love it and good for them for having a great business model. Nothing was really wrong with my experience here but nothing was outstanding either. For the price and the wait time for a reservation I’d have thought I would be wowed. The ingredients were high quality and fresh which was nice. The portions were a decent size and the service was pretty good. We started with some oysters, they were pretty standard. Followed by the bang bang shrimp, which I was told is what they are known for. I thought they were big, cooked well and the shrimp itself was tasty. The sauce wasn’t anything special. For my main I had the scallop risotto. Nice scallops, could have had a little more of a char on the exterior for the price I paid. Just tiny details that make something excellent and warrant $35-40 a plate. There was a good amount of risotto on the dish, so it would fill you up if you didn’t have any apps. Decent cocktails and pretty good wine list. I will say it might be the “best” version of a casual yet finer dining experience in the Southtowns/ Hamburg area. However if you are willing to drive 20 mins you can get in somewhere else much quicker and probably have a better meal.

Really hard to make reservations, but so glad we made them in advance! Went right before mother’s day and had amazing food. Beautiful view of the lake as well.

It's worth the hype. We had the oysters and muscles for appetizers. I had the lobster fettuccine for my main. They were able to accommodate my request for a dairy free meal. My husband had the steak and scallops. The BEST scallop I have ever tasted. Perfectly caramelized on the outside and so tender though out. Several specials were ordered, and everyone had nothing but positive things to say.

My daughter treated me to a wonderful delicious dinner. Reverations were two months to get a table and was well worth the wait. Will never forget it. The view was beautiful on the lake. The food was incredible. Our waitress was so nice and helpful. Place was very clean and elegant. Will be back.

My first time here tonight......... made the reservations 2 months ago......WELL WORTH THE WAIT!! Food was absolutely amazing, highly recommend the bread board to start. Already made my next reservation...... can't wait till October! 😜

Our first time here and I was looking to have a delicious steak for my birthday, well it was the BEST steak I have ever had! Medium was perfect. My boyfriend had the tomahawk, medium as well and both just melted in your mouth! The food was great, the service was great and so was the atmosphere.

Service was impeccable. The meals were outstanding.

Service was excellent, appetizers were delicious, but the main course was too salted. All four dinners were very salty.

Very disappointed for the last two visits. Noise level distracts from your conversation. Nothing close to a fish fry during Lent. Lobster linguini was terrible. Pasta over cooked, lobster chunks tasted like something else, and lobster tail on top of pasta was way to salty. For the price, I would expect more. Convenience of nearest to home a big advantage, but it seems like the cuisine is not up to snuff the last two visits. However, staff is extremely courteous and professional and the ambiance is very nice.

Lucia’s offers a beautiful view with fresh food that’s even better. John was hands down one of the best waiters I have ever had that explained all questions I had, went through the menu and even made suggestions for things I might like after a few questions he had for me. I got the A-5 Wagyu entree and it was perfectly cooked. The appetizers were fantastic and the deserts were to die for! I can’t wait to go back soon! And great place for a family meal, date night, and birthday or any family celebration.

First time dining in at Lucia’s after a highly anticipated wait. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. The restaurant itself was noticeably clean which gives a reassuring notion of a detail oriented crew. I ordered the the bruschetta platter which in my opinion is a must have (great for up to 4 people), the chicken parmigiana and my wife the halibut. Also noticed Waygu steak on the menu which we will back to try! Everything was great and exceeded expectations.

Dinner was phenomenal as always! Stunning view too! By far the best restaurant to get some delicious food.

Tasty but expensive food and some entrees are more substantial than others. $47. for lobster linguini, was excellent, $34. for 5 lobster ravioli, with some lobster, a couple scallops and one shrimp was good but I was still hungry. Would have been perfect with a side of pasta. Music needs direction. For such a high end restaurant, I would expect more refined music selections to match the experience.

booked on OpenTable about two months ago for our anniversary, there was literally one spot open that happened to been on our actual anniversary for two seats and a high top table in the bar area. Wasn’t what we were hoping for as their dining rooms are beautiful with views of the sunset over the lake. Called over to the restaurant earlier in the day and asked if they would be able to move us to the dining room sure enough when we checked in they set us up with a beautiful table in the south dining room. this is our second time dining at Lucia‘s. I can honestly say it’s probably the best restaurant in the Buffalo area! drinks were made beautifully food is off the charts, understandable why they book up months in advance. special thanks to Jared our server who was polished energetic and fun! Will continue to be our go to spot for any special occasion. #Gobills

Excellent experience ! First time there and we plan on returning. Ordered a few daily specials steak ,crab claws , and short ribs off their regular menu.

I’ll start by saying that this was one of the best meals I’ve ever had dining out. We waited three months for our reservation and it was well worth the wait! We started with the bang bang calamari and although they were out of bread boards our server, Kait, brought us a fresh baguette with three delicious dipping sauces. The calamari was the crispiest calamari I’ve ever had, but I felt like there was too much sauce on it. Regardless, wonderful flavor and the portion was HUGE. Speaking of portions, I couldn’t believe the size of our pasta dishes (seafood linguini and crab bucatini). I kid you not when I say each dish could’ve fed three people. Be prepared for leftovers (not like that’s a bad thing). The view was stunning and we were able to watch the sunset but the back room could be toned down a bit in terms of decor. That’s just a very minor criticism because everything was fantastic. And a quick note about the prices. I felt that the prices were extremely reasonable considering how much food we got. When we told people we were going to Lucia’s they immediately commented on the prices. For two appetizers, two old fashions, two beers, two enormous pasta dishes, plus an add-on banana pepper and large scallop we each paid a little over $100 with tip. Again, extremely reasonable and worth every penny.

We came here to celebrate a birthday. The food was really great, and our waiter, water guy/bus guy we're both outstanding. As a party of 6 talkative women they kept pace with us, gave us space to chat, kept our drinks going, and we're super helpful. Awesome!

My wife had come here with some friends, so we decided to stop in as a family. I'm so happy that we did. We were waited on by our server and a very attentive attendant (young lady) who were both excellent. The food was absolutely delicious and presented well. Not having been here before, I wasn't too sure as to what to expect. Well, my experience surpassed my expectations. There aren't too many places around that have well-prepared upscale food in generous portions in a relaxed atmosphere along the lake. I highly recommend trying Lucia's on your next date.

So. I was going to give five stars, as I’ve always had a great experience at Lucia’s. However, I took some time to read the other comments on here, and the way the owner responds to reviews (that patrons leave online, here on google) is extremely unprofessional. I find it really disappointing. For that alone, I won’t be back.

Love this place, Great service from the greeting at the door all the way through dinner and dessert. Food is very good and worth every dollar. My kids love and say its their first choice when going out for a fancy dinner. It is even awesome just to sit at the bar with your better half and just have appetizers, drinks or even a full meal.

Upscale dining place on Lake Erie! Lucia's is different from any place on the lake that we have tried so far. The food is actually good! We have a hard time finding good dining on the lake but finally we found it. The food and staff are wonderful, the portions are enormous and the cocktails are delicious. Be prepared to spend a bit here, you definitely pay for the quality.

As a semi-frequent patron, I selfishly don't want the word to get out about how fantastic this place is, but that wouldn't exactly be fair. Outstanding food, beautiful, classy ambience, and excellent service always. This is our favorite place to eat and sometimes just to grab drinks! Well done Lucia's!!!

My husband, I, and another couple went there to celebrate some birthdays and it was very nice. It is our friend's favorite restaurant, they go there VERY frequently. With that in mind we have also been there several times so I know how quickly the bill can add up. Between the four of us we ordered: oysters, fried calamari, 2 wagu beef specials, salad with shrimp, a salad with lobster meat, and lots of drinks. The service was good, and everyone was very nice. The only reason I would not rate it a 5/5 is I think you can get just as good tasting food a little bit cheaper at other restaurants.

We missed reserving a table and received a call from the owner, Jay who had a cancellation last night. We were finally able to try Lucia's and it was worth the wait. The view and service were perfect. The food... absolutely delicious. We ordered three appetizers (oysters, pork belly and crab stuffed bread) which all were amazing. The scallop risotto is to die for. The halibut was perfect. We split the Key lime pie for dessert which was the perfect ending to an amazing dinner. The cocktails and wine selection were also just what we expected! We can't wait to go back! Thank you Jay!

We had a reservation at 5:30 outside for 2 persons. Than when we came they said that we did inside which is not true. And they didn’t want even resolve this situation and we just left because it is horrible service. I have driven to this restaurant 40 min and it is waste of my time. I don’t know about the food it might be good but the way administration troubleshoot this situation is horrible. So I will not come back to this restaurant.

my boyfriend and i came here last minute for dinner: we were very underdressed, so it was awkward but the place is LOVELY. for a setting, clean, and cozy. i ordered the lobster ravioli, which was tasty, but kind of cold. prices are high, but it’s beautiful for a wedding reception dinner, or a night out!

The food is delicious, the service was excellent, and the views of the lake are lovely!
