It was a very spiritual experience. If you wanna live the village daily life get and get away from anything related to cities this place is the one! The family was so nice and they treated us like family. The food they made is so delicious and I loved that I were able to help! Our plan was to stay for two nights but we extended it to four nights. It’s our honeymoon but we will definitely visit again cause I feel so connected to the lovely family.

My wife and I came here for a quick weekend getaway. We had so much fun during our stay. The hospitality is beyond superb as well as the warmth of the owner who is really nice to us all the time. I”d remind that this place doesnt provide hotel like facility because the whole idea is to have Village like experience. And, they did exactly that. Perfectly.

Rachman picked us up very punctually in our accommodation, accompanied us by car (2 hours) to the Gunung Salak National Park and left us with two guys who accompanied us on the trip to the crater of the volcano. After finishing the tour, we ate a delicious lunch prepared by his wife in De Salak Homestay, and then he accompanied us to see a spectacular waterfall and took us back home. Throughout the day he provided us with food and drink and was concerned that we did not lack anything. Thanks a lot for everything!

the parking lot is dangerous, one need to walk a bit far to reach the hut, its easier if you use a motor bike, car can be a bit problems.. For a couple this can be interesting honey moon hut, except you are get use to a normal hotel facility, this may not be your choice, but if you are looking for a village earthy facility in the middle of a paddi field kind of night stay, this can be a great place to spend a night, ... Group visit can be hillarious, ..

This place is a beautiful spot to relax in the mount Salak area. The staff is a friendly family and you can get some great insight into local life in Java. It is also a great place to stay before or after hiking Mount Salak and they can arrange guide's and tours in the area for good prices.

Such an incredible experience. The location is breathtaking. The hosts are amazing people and traditional Indonesian food which you are able to help and learn to cook. We can't recommend this home stay highly enough!
