The oldest nature reserve, which unfortunately is in a poorly maintained condition, can be entered with permission and without an appointment. The guards are friendly & very helpful when asked for information about Tahura. There are no facilities for visitors apart from a 7.1 hectare area full of trees, and camping is not permitted. The location around Tahura is a residential area and there are also two local minimarkets. Quite ideal for a place for learning or research.

Cagar Alam Depok, the oldest nature reserve in Depok, unfortunately seems to be in a poorly maintained condition. Despite this, visitors are allowed to enter with permission and without any agreement. The guards at the entrance of the reserve are friendly and are always ready to provide visitors with any information they might need about Tahura. However, it's important to note that there are no facilities for visitors in the reserve other than a 7.1-hectare area full of trees. Camping activities are not allowed in the reserve. Although Cagar Alam Depok might not be the most glamorous nature reserve, it is still worth visiting for its tranquil and serene atmosphere. The location around Tahura mainly consists of residential housing and two local minimarkets, so visitors should come prepared with any necessities they might need. The reserve's lack of facilities makes it an ideal place for research and learning activities, especially for those interested in studying the local flora and fauna. Overall, Cagar Alam Depok might not be the most well-maintained nature reserve, but it still offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Visitors should come prepared with all their essentials and be respectful of the reserve's rules, which prohibit camping activities. The reserve's friendly guards and vast expanse of trees make it an ideal location for research and learning activities, as well as for those looking to escape the noise and chaos of city life.

Pancoran Mas Depok Grand Forest Park (Tahura) was previously called Depok Nature Reserve. This forest is located in the middle of a residential area, also close to Depok Lama Station. This forest is the first and oldest natural monument in Indonesia which is a place for conservation of plants, animals and their environment. This includes the smallest tofu in Indonesia, with an area of only around 6 hectares. Let's protect and care for this forest together for our future children and grandchildren. The atmosphere around here is cool and beautiful.

(Translated by Google) Nature Reserve Forest is a convention forest whose policies are supervised by the government, there is a general board/regulation for the public on the forest fence and there are nameplates for several trees of various types. This forest is called a protected forest because some of this area is still guarded as the only forest in the 2/3 area of this road deviation and Pancoran Mas This forest can be enjoyed for its beauty if you pass across the side of the road, for the branches/branches of several trees that approach the shoulder of the road are more closely watched by several parties. ((This forest can only be enjoyed without trying to enter it like a place for recreation/camping, because this area is a Convention Forest area, not a Camping Park area.)) This forest is still awake, the leaves fall in the forest, it indicates its beauty, not a lack of attention. because it's like the leaves/fruit from the tree to fall inside, this becomes the authenticity of the tree from that area.

(Translated by Google) It's a shame it wasn't taken care of even though it's really historic when viewed from a historical perspective and it should be the lungs of the city of Depok. Hopefully the Depok City Government pays more attention (Original) Sayangnya enggak keurus padahal bersejarah banget kalau dilihat dari sisi historis nya dan harusnya bisa jadi paru2 kota Depok. Semoga lebih diperhatikan lagi sama Pemkot Depok

The Depok Nature Reserve is one of the 2nd oldest nature reserves in Indonesia, located on the side of the road, namely Jalan Lapangan KONI 2, although on the side of the road the atmosphere is shady because of the shade of the trees, with an area of 71 hectares the Depok Nature Reserve is used for the preservation of flora and fauna by intended purposes for research, education, culture and tourism. Depok Nature Reserve in 1999 at that time to reduce air pollution, climate change and accommodate clean water reserves.

The Nature Reserve is a legacy from the Dutch era to preserve the original tree species in Depok and their animals (although now the only animals left are birds, monitor lizards and snakes). And the existence of nature reserves can prevent drought. However, this place is not public..
