The buffet experience was a letdown, with the only highlight being Ria's live performance. Firstly, there was a lack of menu information, leaving us in the dark about what to expect. The starters—mutton, fish, and paneer—were served without any guidance or the offer of more. The appetizers, including a bland Ratatouille, a potato dish, chicken, and another veg item, were confusing and fell short. Moving on to the main dishes, the pulav variety tasted terrible due to an overwhelming cumin flavor. Check out the picture I've posted; the cumin-to-rice ratio is unmistakable. The dessert section is not even worth describing. Despite a craving for live pasta, the ordered penne was an instant regret after a long wait. All this for 1000 INR. This place didn't justify the cost or my time, in my opinion. I urge the management to put effort into planning the menu. Considering Mangalore's coastal location, more seafood options would be appreciated. Apart from the fish starter, there was a noticeable lack. However, the most pressing issue to address is the service. I regret spending my time here—it was a complete disappointment.

The food is very delicious, tastes fresh and homely; waiters are polite. Rating of one only because of the welcome received by the lady staff Ms Sanchia sitting in the entrance of Loft. When we went to occupy seats on sofa side with my family, she arrogantly came and told these seats are only for reserved guests, when the entire restaurant was empty… This is not the first time this is happening Even the previous visit a few months she told the seats are for people who opt for brunch!!!! Definitely if the restaurant was occupied with guests, it makes sense and we would have understood, but when it’s empty and we are one of the first ones entering and this happens is very upsetting.. I didn’t want to spoil the mood of my family that time, so kept quiet… I hope the management acts aptly … It’s not only the food which matters; it’s about the overall experience which the customer gets which makes them visit the place always… Please note - all the other staffs are really polite Had to write about this since I’ve been silently watching this happen every time, which is not right to anyone!!! My visit to The Loft left me quite disappointed. Despite hearing a lot about this place, it didn't live up to the hype. We ordered a chicken salad and lollipop, and the chicken was surprisingly terrible, with an unpleasant taste. While the restaurant's decorations are visually appealing, I wasn't a fan of the overall experience.

As per the ambience and the atmosphere it was very nice place. I would say cocktail and mocktail best in mangalore,but the was food wise it was not that great. I felt that the pizza was too bland . Moodbidri mocktail is must try . They kind enough that they gave discount as well as free shots and pizza . Overall it's a good place to chill.

Top 1 place for calm peaceful date . Place is well maintained and live music is sooo soothing. Quality of food is great . Even in this moist weather they took good care in maintaining bread in every item . We went on a week day and i hardly see a couple of tables filled in it . Cost of food is appropriate for the service they provide , so plan accordingly.

Good food and service. Not that crowded. May need reservation on weekends. Ambience is nice. Even on the outside of the restaurant. We had Beer based cocktails: watermelon and ananas jalapeño. Not that great. Chicken Caesar salad was very good. Non Vegetarian Tasting platter comes with Chicken, Mutton Seek and Fish. Mutton Seek was bit spicy. Fish was too good. We also had Prawns in Butter Garlic Sauce. Average. Overall experience was good at this restaurant. Staff was friendly.

Beautiful ambiance, nice music, welcoming staff but food was not up to the mark! Mushroom soup was burnt, and the chef was kind enough to listen to our concern about it! Sorba soup was good. Never gonna recommend veg tasting platter, which had no taste at all! Disappointed with Moodbidri mocktail! One who likes thin crust Pizza, can try here. Overall average food experience.

Decent place for dining out while in Mangalore. We were staying at the Avatar when we tried out food at the Loft. They have a wide spread of dishes on offer ranging from Thai, Chinese to North and South Indian. Food is well prepared and is of ample quantity. The ambience is calm and soothing and the staff very professional Do give it a try while in Mangalore

The ambience was great and the restaurant was posh. Also, the service was great. We ordered vegetable broth soup, loft lollipop and Margherita pizza. The soup and lollipop was good but the Margherita pizza didn't taste very well.

Great ambience, music, and service. The butter garlic prawn and strawberry souffle were delicious, but the mutton dumpukht was bland. The menu's been redone, so the place is definitely worth a revisit to try out more new stuff. Thank you for providing water bowls for hand washing on request!

Went here for dinner and the overall experience left us extremely happy. Their food is top notch. None of the dishes we ordered disappointed us. Both vegetarian and seafood options were simply fantastic. The ambience is posh and very well maintained. Staff was very courteous. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you're in Mangalore. I will definitely return and would like to try their famous breakfast buffet.

I must say..definitely delicious food!!! The starters are yumm!!! Lot of options for vegetarians. Multi cuisine restaurant where thai food is also available. Must definitely try the mocktail “mudbidri”. Beer cocktails also available but i do not recommend them ..they are more of like a fruit juice.

Good ambience with food being not that great. They have their special beer cocktails, not that great. But the quantity is too good. It's filling. They have a good menu of platters. Overall it's good.

The restaurant is inside the mall building and hence not noticeable. It's highly rated and they live up to. The ambience, food and service are great.. They have some creative names on the menu which we liked (eg: Thannirbavi is one mock tail). Overall, highly recommended for a good break. Corn ribs, chicken jalfreizy etc are a must try. We were offered banofee pie as complimentary!!

Excellent ambience and polite helpful staffs. Food quality is very nice, chicken prawns served are of good quality and very fresh and succulent . Veg options are also available. Overall experience is great. Freshly baked pizzas are available. Excellent cocktail menu. The bar tender here works hard. A lot of local flair to the drink list. Food is pretty decent as well. Only thing I wish they would change is the placement of speakers. I wish they would spread their speakers around the place rather than a couple of massive speakers blaring out the music. It would be a better environment if very loud music wasnt hitting you from one end as you try to converse just because you are closer to one side of the restaurant.

ONE OF THE BEST COCKTAILS I HAVE EVER HAD made by bartender ANSHAL. Loft has made me and my friend addicted to this particular signature cocktail (bar man’s special) made by bartender Anshal. The rum and the citrus combination just kept me wanting for more. The food was extraordinary. Asian curry noodle bowl with prawns was mouth watering.

We had ordered the grasp and moodbidri mocktail along with a Paneer tikka for starters while having a pizza Bianca for main course and a lemon cheese cake for dessert. The dishes were simply amazing and scrumptious. The cheesecake was however the highlight of our lunch here.

Place is very good for groups and family..food is tasty, ambiance is great and staff very helpful.. there is no bar service for now due to some licence issues. Outside view, parking are added points.. lots of places to click pics and selfies.. overall great experience visiting here.

Despite the short notice, the restaurant went above and beyond to create a memorable and festive atmosphere for the birthday celebration. The staff quickly sprang into action, adorning the venue with tasteful decorations, balloons, and personalized touches. The attention to detail and the commitment to making the celebration special truly amazed me. Not only were the decorations visually appealing, but the staff also ensured that everything was executed flawlessly. Their flexibility, responsiveness, and dedication to customer satisfaction were remarkable. This is the first 1 star review I am ever posting (and I have been posting reviews for nearly 10 years now) Was such a bad experience after all the hype about the place. Food is well plated and decent but nothing special at all. Service is polite but utterly out of order. We placed ALL our orders at 915 pm together. This included 2 starters, 3 main dishes, a pizza and 2 drinks (a chocolate shake for the kids and an iced tea). They got the entire order but forgot the pizza. It took 33 minutes after all the other dishes and a lot of reminders for them to finally bring out the pizza. Still no sign of the drinks ! Then AFTER the pizza also was done, we asked to cancel the drinks (since kids cannot have a chocolate shake AFTER dinner). To this, the head waiter came and asked if he could make the drinks a takeaway for us which of course we didn't want because there is no sense in packing and taking iced tea home. To which he said please take it as it is complimentary from our side to make up. After all of that, they actually charged us for the shakes and lemon iced tea. Highly avoidable in a city where good food and good service are plentifully available.

To start with, this place is one of a kind in Mangalore, the ambiance is top notch. The food is amazing and the prices are also reasonable, we get good quality and quantity. But the beverages took very long almost an hour to be made for which we had to wait long.

We tried their Sourdough pizzas & desserts. It was amazing. Definitely will vist again. The ambiance is really good.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at The Loft in Avatar Hotel. The ambience exudes warmth, creating the perfect setting for delightful lunches or dinners with family and friends.
