3 stars would've been 5 stars for the gym it used to be... It took me a while to get around to writing a review of this place but I feel now that I've completely moved on its about time... This place use to be a fantastic place which was accommodating for athletes and casual gym goers from all across the curriculum though this place has went through a transformation about 2 years ago and not particularly for the best. My intent is not to deter people but to approach this place with caution. There's still some this place has to offer such as its innovative style of scheduled spin/circuit classes which for the casual gym goer may find enjoyable but it is lacking in pretty much every other aspect. There was a lot more to this place about 3-2.5 years ago when the members and staff here was a lot more diverse and positive... Though in recent years the social has started to lack or even became toxic and there's not much diversity other than Calisthenics/circuit classes

An amazing place to train. The coached group sessions (which are included as part of the membership) are exciting, invigorating and challenging. Unlike most gyms, you will be made to feel part of a very special H3 family.

We (my sister & I), love this old style club. They make you feel like your part of an extended family, everyone's so friendly and approachable. There's so much encouragement from the coaches and members. We're not fit people by any means and we're both in the 50+ age bracket, infact I'm 60 next year. The classes/exercises are always adapted to meet your particular fitness standard and we think that's great.

There are two things I love about H3 - the staff and the classes. The masterclasses are always different - I was always engaged and inspired, and always left sore. I used to take classes with Toby who makes them fun, challenging and safe. Being an old giffer I really appreciate the warm up and stretching so often absent from other chain gyms that cram you in and leave you injured. There’s a healthy social element to the gym and it’s a friendly place filled with endorphins. The classes have a mix of serious athletes and those hoping to becoming stronger and faster and the class design allows everyone to participate at a level appropriate to challenge them. There are events and trainings and there is always something going on. Also the music is good. Not always to my taste but there’s clearly some thought out into the playlists - varying from hair metal to Genesis. I always laugh while I’m there which makes the experience enjoyable. I’d go there more often if I worked in Nottingham again.

Used to be a great gym, near town. This changed over the years. Many people who started going to the gym are leaving due to the equipment not being changed, even if it's broken which is quite unsatisfying since a single session for non-members is Β£7 and the monthly membership is Β£55. It hasn't got many machines, because a great area of the gym is covered in this carpet, that reminds me of grass where the leaded training takes place. Overall, it's an OK place, with many great sessions for weight loosing and cheerful, friendly staff.

A great training facility in Nottingham. Good equipment, space and classes. Great atmosphere and vibe too. The owner is a really welcoming and accommodating guy who went out his way to make sure I was looked after as I was new to the gym and the area, which I hugely appreciated. I highly recommended H3

H3 is not just an ordinary gym, it is a community of like minded people who enjoy working out and getting fit. There is nowhere quite like H3. As standard there is an open gym but the group classes run by a PT are phenomenal for providing that personal touch. Everyone is welcoming and encouraging and each workout can be scaled to ability. The range of classes are hugely varied from strength to cardio to competition level training. I’ve been a member for 7 years and have made great progress to improve my fitness across all areas (faster, fitter, stronger, healthier). I even entered a fitness competition for the first time this year thanks to H3s support, training and confidence building. I would recommend H3 for high quality PT sessions, awesome class coaching, wide range of classes on offer and the fabulous community of people who make H3 such an enjoyable and motivational place to workout.

All in all its a good gym, Friendly staff and members. Quite a few classes to do, although I've only done like two or three. Quiet in the mornings, perfect if you wanna do your own thing. I did get results.

Fantastic gym with highly knowledgeable and supportive trainers. They do a variety of classes from high intensity interval training, circuits, strength sessions (including Strongman) and core conditioning. The classes are tailored to all fitness levels. Overall it's a great place to train and because they always mix things up it never gets dull or repetitive.

I’ve been at the gym for a couple of months and have to say it’s not too bad, trainers are nice and friendly and explain everything in detail and make you all feel as part of the gym family. Looking forward to what the next year brings.
