Great pub, lovely food and friendly staff. It has a nice atmosphere and the prices are reasonable. Decor is cosy and Ian the landlord is very nice! He let me park my motorhome up for the night so I could partake in quite a few pints of Guinness! Thanks Ian!

We had a one night stay at The Falcon very welcoming/friendly check in, lovely spacious, clean room, we had an evening meal and breakfast the following morning must say the food was fantastic and good value for money, definitely recommend the Falcon perfect stop over with dogs, no doubt we’ll be back in the future.

Really limited choices for a vegetarian diner, the roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings & chips are cooked in animal fat. Said there was a veg pie on the Sunday lunch menu, but it was not available. Also pork in the stuffing 🙄 Disappointing Sunday dinner. Although, the waiting staff were lovely and the dining room was very clean.

My wife and I stayed for one night in room 11. The room itself was clean however the sliding windows were hard to open as most of them were painted shut. Luckily we managed to open 1 on each side and the room hand a fan. The bed sounded like it was going to collapse when laying on it but turned out to be comfortable. We had dinner in the evening and then breakfast the next morning and the food was superb. The service was also quick and friendly. We would definitely come back.

I popped in today for a bit of lunch, and a drink. The bar/restaurant was absolutely wonderful, they even had the open fire on the go. The food was lovely , filling, and offered great value. I shall be returning, thoroughly recommend!

Ok family meal on a Sunday. Busy restaurant. Good selection of roast meats but all a bit over prepared. Great service from the staff. Starter of chicken parfait was the star for me. Roast and trimmings should have been better. Not far from being great but look at more recent reviews before you book

Loved the access to a guitar. Great idea. I'm not a frequent customer and didn't have food so I can't comment.

Three friends and I had Sunday lunch here, senior citizens plate consisted of beef, turkey and pork. Half a Yorkie and a pig in blanket, 3 veg, mash and roast potatoes accompanied with rich gravy. Service was excellent. We all enjoyed ourselves. Thank you very much 5*.

Booked the Falcon Inn as an overnight stop whilst on work. There was ample parking and room was really clean and the bed really comfy. The location is great in a small village surrounded by farmer’s fields. I popped to the large beer garden for a pint before going in for my main meal. Really good menu options catering for all needs and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to any travellers - work or family getaways. Thank you Falcon Inn

We called in here before going to the airport as had read bad reviews about food in East midlands airport. The staff were so lovely and friendly. We had arrived there 15 mins before opening time but they said we could take a seat and they would be with us asap. The food was lovely and they didn't mind changing a few items in the meal I choose. Would definitely recommend and will go again whenever we fly from East mids

Charming decor, great staff, and food. The bar/restaurant, outdoor patio and beer garden were terrific. The hotel accommodations were very “road side motel”. Our room had cute decor but the bathroom was not clean- moldy shower surround and filthy floor. The towels were threadbare. The toilet did not have a reliable flush. The amenities box meant we assume- for assorted teas was empty- but for a few sugars including one open packet and one partially used. The moldy shower was immediately addressed by the owner the following morning. This is a dog friendly hotel. And although we are dog friendly people -5 barking dogs in one group and an additional dog in another room is too much. This disruption was mentioned to the owner late in the afternoon but was not addressed until the following morning. With no sense of urgency we were dismissed with “We are dog friendly.” The property owner did speak to the owners of the 5 dogs and the problem was solved but not until after an evening of barking and 6:00am wake up howls.

Meal only. Food OK but chicken tasted of lamb!? Service good but you need to offer more lo / no alcohol options. Heineken Zero is a pretty naff beer and it's all you have!! If you want some advice from a reluctant expert contact me

Lovely lunch and great service. Food top quality. The only negative was the very small menu choice which was not the same as advertised online. We were all fine but some people might struggle with the small lunch choice.

Lovely staff, great food and great room. One slight criticism is the pillows weren't particularly the best in room 5. They were a bit uncomfortable but we didnt raise it with the staff as we forgot so cannot complain too much!

We didn't stay here we booked in for a meal as we were staying up the road. The food was amazing and waiting times were normal from starter to main. Friendly waiting staff and an open kitchen so you can see what's cooking.

We were visiting the area for a pre arranged event and booked to stay in one of the rooms at the Falcon. We did have a couple of issues with our room but these were immediately addressed by the landlady and our stay was lovely. The breakfast was fabulous with everything perfectly cooked. Copious amounts of good coffee were available which is always good. The setting for the Falcon is lovely with fields and a lovely village on the doorstep. Thanks guys and well done on your customer service.

Not as wonderful as I’d hoped looking at the reviews so maybe we just went on an ‘off’ night. Things that weren’t so good: order not remembered correctly, - just write it down 🤷🏻‍♀️menu offered Sour dough; not in a month of Sundays was that sour dough, even though we were told it was🤷🏻‍♀️ Should have asked for a plate but didn’t think I’d have to…. Not a fan of eating from a supermarket basket sitting on a board 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s very old hat and really just a bit silly for me. On the plus- wine was well chilled and most of the food was good.

Had such an amazing lunch here after dropping in by chance! Staff were so helpful and accommodating with my wife’s gluten allergy. Food was absolutely superb, genuinely one of the nicest meals out we’ve had in a long time! Will be back!

Lovely village pub. Short drive to the motorway, Midlands airport and Castle Donnington racing circuit. Rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Food is excellent and staff are all very caring. Plenty of parking and large beer garden which does not impact on the rooms. Would recommend and use again
