I stay in this hotel probably 20 nights a year and it is, without a doubt, the nicest hotel in the area (trust me I have tried others). The staff are extremely pleasant, always smiling and show a genuine want to be there. The rooms are spotless with great tvs and comfy beds and the great car parking facilities just add the extra cheery on top. I have dealt with (I believe the Manager) Rachel, a number of times and she is wonderful, very professional and always able to help. Honestly if you are reading this review whilst considering to stay here, just book it, you will be so glad you did!

The front desk staff was very helpful at this hotel. It is located a fair distance from the city area, but you can walk although it is not lighted very well for evening walking. The bathroom was okay, but really needed some maintenance and updating. The very worst part were the beds. My room had two double size beds, but one of the beds was just springs. It was truly awful and we could not use it for sleeping. Thankfully we were only there one night.

The service from the staff was very efficient and friendly. The hotel and room was very clean. The bar was great (good Guinness too). My only gripe is the restaurant, very limited menu and you are forced to pay for a minimum of 2 courses. No option for just 1 main. The food was also very poor. Not impressed at all. We also seen other food coming from the same kitchen which is served in the hotel bar, but not the restaurant. Doesn't make sense to me. I would definitely stay at Da Vinci's again, just avoid the restaurant next time.

Our stay at Da Vinci's was truly wonderful and exceptionally comfortable, exuding a premium ambiance. The courteous and helpful reception staff provided valuable insights on places to visit, free carparks, and walking paths, which proved to be invaluable during our trip. The morning breakfast offered a wide array of options, and we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and quality of both the bathrooms and rooms, surpassing our expectations. Additionally, the hotel's ample parking spaces provided further convenience, making our overall experience truly enjoyable. As few of them had mentioned, an air conditioner would have made sense as it was bit hot. During our morning breakfast, we experienced a slight sense of being ignored, possibly due to the crowd. While the staff was initially helpful during our coffee visit, it seemed they were overwhelmed during breakfast, leading to some neglect. Additionally, we noticed that the croissants and pecan plaits were depleted and not promptly refilled, although these were minor concerns overall.

Really pleasant 3 night stay and dog friendly (which always boost my rating). Not sure the additional Β£25 dog fee for a deep clean was justified (was an actual deep clean carried out or just the normal clean?). Good breakfast and evening meal. Location slightly out of the city centre but plenty of public transport. Rooms ok, a bit hot. We had a twin with 2 double beds like they have in American hotels. Careful with the shower floor, it's slippy and no grab rails! All round a recommended hotel with the rate at just under Β£100 per night inc breakfast

Few amenities in room weren't the best. Breakfast - not many varieties. Taste -4/5

Very disappointed in our stay here. Hotel clean the bed was like sleeping on springs, horrible nights sleep. We had travelled for a family funeral & the family had arranged a light lunch consisting of soup & sandwiches, tea or coffee. It was disgusting soup luke warm, half a bowl & sandwiches where disgusting. There wasn't enough for all the guests & the servers were scrapping the bottom of the pot. Some guests had go without. Found out it was Β£9 + per head. Totally disgusting & very disappointing stay. We will not be staying here again. Other family members recommended the premier Inn with very comfortable beds & good food & very very reasonable. Dreadful these hotels get away with this unsatisfactory service at big prices.

The room on the ground floor, though decently sized, had opaque glass. Which means there was no sunlight that ever entered the room, and definitely no view. The taps in the bathroom need an upgrade (don't mix hot and cold water properly). And, the corridors also smelt of detergent. WiFi speed was average - images would barely load. Breakfast was quite decent though (for an extra charge).

Good hotel and great on site facility. The breakfast is good and the rooms are spacious and clean. I'm only giving a 4 starts because our rooms was just on top of a sort of noisy generator so maybe if you stay there, ask for a parking facing room.

Nice clean room, well presented. Tea tray very well stocked but kettle is broken (didn't stop boiling and handle got too hot to touch). Bar was friendly, cosy, and well stocked.

A Pleasant Stay with Room for Improvement Rating: β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜† I recently had the pleasure of staying in this hotel room, and overall, it was a tidy and comfortable experience with a few areas that could use some attention. Let's start with the good bits! The room was impressively tidy, giving off a sense of cleanliness and attention to detail. The presence of complementary goodies such as two bottles of water, quality coffee, and delicious biscuits added a delightful touch. The array of toiletries provided, including shampoo, body wash, conditioner, and body lotion, ensured a well-rounded and convenient stay. Plus, the abundance of towels and the availability of two plush bathrobes were a welcome luxury. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, promising a restful night's sleep. However, there were a few drawbacks worth mentioning. The absence of an air conditioner or fan in the room posed a challenge, especially during warmer days. Though the windows were open, the limited air movement due to a bulky unit blocking them led to insufficient ventilation. Despite requesting a fan from reception, the provided unit was far from satisfactory, as it proved to be a potential health and safety hazard (as depicted in the attached pictures). It certainly did the job of circulating some air, but one couldn't help but feel a bit gasping for fresh air. Another area that needs attention is the reading lights near the bed, which were unfortunately burnt out. Replacing them would greatly enhance the functionality and convenience of the room. All things considered, I would still consider staying here again, as the positives outweighed the negatives. With a few improvements, this room has the potential to become the perfect haven for future guests.

Not a great location and service at check in less than friendly. Told we needed to book a spot for breakfast and even though we booked a time 20 minutes after they opened food was not available on the hot buffet until about 30 minutes after we arrived. Told we could order off the menu, but they were only offering 2 items for breakfast - the full Irish and the vegetarian Irish breakfast. Clearly they had some issues getting organized. Room was fine, but not the best location.

A lovely hotel, with a pretty good location. The restaurant staff were very friendly and so efficient. The only drawback with our stay was that the rooms were very hot which made sleeping a bit of a nightmare.

Room was disgusting. It smelt badly of smoke. I was told they were going to clean it, but it did no good. The floors are badly stained and the bed sheets were dirty. The toilet was also leaking all night. Thankfully I was only there one night.

The staff were friendly and so helpful. I was there for a concert during the Jazz Festival. My favourite band The Dualers were playing. It was one of the best nights of my life. The hotel was lovely. Only gripe was that we were looking to be fed and the kitchen was closed. Should be good available for guests 24 7. Shouldn't be closed by 7pm. I would recommend the hotel and will stay here again. Thank you so much for a great night. 😍😍😍😁😁😁

Our room was ok. It didn't feel "clean" & it felt really damp & had a musty smell. Our bath towels were dirty with red/brown stains that we were told were probably coffee... but housekeeping was incredibly apologetic & remedied the situation quickly. They also let us use their restaurant to eat our takeout food from outside because we didn't have plates or cutlery in our room. They gave us everything we needed to enjoy our meal, even though it wasn't even from their restaurant.

I always like Da Vinci's for a quiet drink. The bar is beautiful and everything about it is spotless. It has to be the best maintained bar I have ever been in. The standard never slips.

Very disappointed with what you get for the price compared to what you receive.. Although receptionist Una was lovely.. My partner and I traveled down from Belfast for his birthday. After heading out that evening the room key wouldn't work when we returned. 45mins went by before being able to re-enter the room. At this time although we were offered a possible alternative room until maintenance arrived in the morning there was nothing offered while we waited ( at least a pint at the bar) when we got into the room, the following morning we realized there were not enough towels in the room. Called down to reception and no answer, headed out for the day and left the door sign for room to be cleaned by housekeeping who were in the next room attending to it, to come back and find it had been turned to DO NOT DISTURB and the room was not cleaned. That evening we continued to have issues with the room key which we solved ourselves. The following morning while I had my alarm set before breakfast we were woken up to the housekeeping not once but twice before we even got out of bed for breakfast never mind check out at 11. Breakfast was disappointing also, staff were inattentive and the items and the buffet breakfast were few to none and luke warm at least. I wish I had told the receptionist that morning however I work in hospitality and I was hangry and wanted to get home. Beautiful hotel, somewhat lovely staff, amazing location, but for the price and our overall experience. A budget hotel would have sufficed..

It was okay. Looked very 80s/90s in the corridors. The rooms were nice, but the mechanism on our door broke. The staff took 35 minutes to fix this and we were worried we would be late to dinner because of it, but they said we could go on, but about 10 minutes later. There was a place to book taxis on an iPad, but the programme was very slow and not very user friendly, it made more sense to ask their receptionist. Also, we booked a more expensive room for three because they said a standard room only held two only to find a standard room contained two double beds, which would be useful information. Then our radiator didn’t work, so it was cold. Also, there was fake tan stained on the towel and finally the breakfast tasted like a premier inn breakfast. The bathroom was nice and the room was okay, but overall poor maintenance and good standards upheld by the staff.

Better than I expected , were put into the newly refurbished rooms , super comfy beds , drench shower with some selection of shampoo & gels etc , tea / coffee , TV and table with 2 chairs. The bar is something to see on its own .

Room was not clean, hole / threadbare carpet , mirrors scuffed and fingermarks on them, net curtain had lipstick on it , no safe, no mini bar, no body lotion, no shower caps, toilet brush vile and manky , rooms in serious need of an upgrade . Breakfast was uninspiring to be kind . Remote control stuck together with dirty tape, bath needed a good scrub, no water glasses, couch had questionable stains on it . How this place stays in business is beyond me . I e mailed hotel directly last week but they didn't even have the courtesy to reply . Will not be back

Terrible support from receptionist and staff. Chose this hotel based on location alone. Walking distance. Room is very tiny that it made it very uncomfortable, however we understand this due to location. Hotel recommended their taxi associated company for trip to airport. Stated flat 64 euro fee. We agreed and during the cab drive, the driver said he refused credit card although hotel said credit card would work. He refused card and said he would stop at atm. We told him we would be late for flight and he said he would take us dollars and would calculate the exchange. When we arrived he charged us 110 us dollars. The meter however only read 70 euro. We told him that was incorrect and exchange would be around 75 dollars. He said this did not include commission, taxes, fees, and services. We would miss our international flight and we did not have time to argue. We told him he was wrong and he said we didn't know what we were saying and hotel was wrong. We stated we have 120 us dollars and can he give us change. He said no he has no change. He took the 120 dollars and did not give us any change. Once we checked in to the flight and made it to the gate. We notified the hotel. He said that the driver was wrong and it was a flat fee and would call us back. After 30 minutes no call. We then called again and women on the phone who worked at reception laughed at us and stated that why are we complaining about 7 us dollars. We told her that is innappropriate and regardless of the cost she should be more professional and that we actually paid 50 dollars extra which is almost double the cost of the transportation. She stated she would call us back. She told us later that cab driver said he only took 90 dollars. She asked if we had a receipt and we said no, and we stated why would he still even charge 90 dollars and how would we have a receipt. And she laughed again and stated well there is nothing we can do. We sent an email to the manager who apologized and emailed back stated he would reach out to us and for compensation and we never heard from them again. Hotel is extremely small, can hear the neighbors, uncomfortable. Hotel staff is nice when you are there and once you leave are unprofessional, laugh at you, do not help and can not trust their taxi association who straight rob you. Very innappropriate hotel. Rated 4 stars online, is more similar to a 2 star hotel. Never to stay here again. Stay only if you want good location, otherwise choose a different spot.

Was just in for lunch. Very short staffed. Waited nearly an hour for order to be taken, and one of our orders was wrong. Sent it back, and not impressed with what was returned. Not the usual standards as it is a place i would be in often. Here's hoping it improves soon.

Amazing service. Couldn't fault anything with the service. Staff were very nice and helpful and also went the extra mile to facilitate my requests which I'm very grateful for. We had lunch at the bar which was very nice but sadly their mojitos need a bit more work. Breakfast was lovely. Not a wide selection but you can get everything you need. It would be helpful thought to have the items labelled in case out of town guests aren't familiar with the Irish cuisine. Room was spacious and very clean and shower ran very hot. There's a handy taxi booking app at the reception which I thought was fantastic. In all, an amazing night and would definitely be coming back in the future.

Wow. Great hotel. Staff couldn't be more helpful or attentive. The food in the restaurant was some of the best I have ever eaten. Lovely clean and well maintained rooms. Lively bar selling a good range of beverages. Will definitely go back.
