My mum and I went to Tides on bank holiday weekend for lunch. Despite the holiday being busy, the service was very good. Thanks to Philip, our waiter, we had a few laughs and enjoyed seeing friendly staff. Both the food and view was beautiful. Couldn't be happier 😊

Amazing restaurant. Food was absolutely incredible. Massive portions. Came out very fast. Crazy extensive menu. If you can't find something on it you need to stay a home. Very extensive drinks menu also. Kids menu was a wee activity book. Staff were incredible. The young lad dropped a glass and one of the waitreses was only in seconds with a dustpan and brush! No exaggeration! Clean up with minimum fuss. All around an incredible experience.

Be aware parking is limited especially on a Saturday night which is only to be expected. The food was good but not exceptional. Prawn cocktail is quite said as there was no "detail put into it, lettuce (Which was crispy) prawns and sauce that was it. This is the sort of dish I could make not being a chef and I would have sprinkled it with a little paprika which they did not. The Guinness wheat was excellent with starter. The main courses came and were as a mentioned good but nothing special or memorable, the Maple and Whiskey salmon being the best. But they all came together, and were hot and orders were 100% correct. I have to say at this point the staff were excellent, friendly and chatty albeit it very busy so 👍 to them. Atmosphere is pretty "noisy" if being honest as the building is very open plan. There is a amazing view from upstairs and the outside balcony has a wonderful panoramic view. So in conclusion Tides is a bit noisy, food is good but not memorable, staff extremely good with stunning view.

The food wasn’t bad but the starter portion was tiny. Our kids ordered a burger from the kids menu and got the same size as the adults burgers which were a lot more expensive (win for us) 🤣 Great views but (and it was really busy) we had to ask multiple times for sauce, napkins etc plus two of the meals in our group weren’t what was ordered. We had also ordered sides which came as we were more than half way through the meal (after asking a few times). The staff were trying hard but it was clear some of them were new and struggling to keep the pace as they had quite a few tables to cover. The staff definitely tried their best, but more staff would be a plus at busy times.

My wife had chicken Mayland when she cut into it it looked under cooked. For desert she asked for fruit salade. A plate of orange, Apple, lemon, lime slices came as a fruit salade. Don't think this is a fresh fruit salads

Had another great meal here. Tides never disappoints us any time we are in. Food is always quick and warm. Also great selection of desserts. Would definitely recommend. Service is always very good and the guys serving are always smiling and able to have a laugh with you as well.

Starters were amazing and had high hopes for the mains but steak came well done (ordered medium) and monkfish came over cooked (felt like rubber). Good Service though as they took it back. Overall good atmosphere and maybe the food was not meeting our expectations after reading so many good reviews here because it was quite busy.

Not my first time in this restaurant and happily won't be my last. The food was of a high standard and portions plentiful. Staff were friendly if a little inexperienced . Value wise, 2 mains, 2 desserts, a couple of soft drinks for under £50 in this day and age is good value in anyone's book. Be back soon.

A favourite spot for food and enjoying a drink and the views on the balcony area at the back of the restaurant. A busy spot, with great food. Reasonably priced.

A wonderful meal, friendly and extremely hard working staff. Rounded off with a beautiful sunset from our table. Thank you Tides.

Ate here last night with my wife. Staff were lovely and so quick at taking order bringing food and drinks. Nothing was any problem to them what so ever. And the food was 1st class. And super cheap will definitely be back. Thanks again for a lovely meal
