We stayed in Dunsilly a few years ago and had a great stay. Unfortunately this time we were disappointed, the service was terrible. We had to ask for menus after waiting a while, we ordered a bottle of wine and it was dropped on the table with two glasses we were not asked to taste the wine. I feel the staff had absolutely no training. Breakfast unfortunately was the same five parties arrived after us and were served before us, we actually had to try and get attention from the staff. The only redeeming feature was the reception, the young lady at the desk was very welcoming and it was the same on checkout. Having spent many years in hospitality both in Ireland and Germany it was very disappointing to see such poor service.

I went here for an anniversary dinner with my husband. The staff were nice but When I went to eat my food there seemed to be something akin to gravel mixed in with it. I only found this out when I attempted to eat my meal and thought that I had broken a tooth. I showed it to the staff, and my meal was eventually replaced. However my husband had already finished his meal. I was very disappointed and don't think that I would risk going back.

We had a Nice relaxing meal here. The main courses were good and lovely and warm, which is a must for me. Desserts not worth the money imo. Atmosphere was pleasant and service was good.

Very good carvery on a Sunday. £27 per head, so a bit expensive. Starters were the weakest point on the menu. Friendly staff. Would go back again.

Stayed overnight before an early morning flight. Beautiful setting, with large bedrooms and common areas. The bar/restaurant is beautiful with outdoor seating available. Full menu - ordered fish & chips and my wife had lasagne. Both dishes were excellent and good portion sizes. Only small complaint (probably my own fault), on the website it says breakfast is from 7am. We had planned to have breakfast before going to the airport at 7.30am. However, breakfast at the weekend is from 8am so we weren’t able to avail of it although included in the price. We were offer the opportunity to go into the restaurant and choose some ‘continental’ items but declined. That said, would still highly recommend this place.

Stayed here for only one midweek night. Great staff here, very friendly. My room was spacious and spotlessly clean. I had dinner in the bar, lasagne. It's taste was to die for, and the coleslaw. Compliments to the kitchen crew

Hotel is easy to find - the staff are very polite, welcoming. It was a late arrival pasts 22:00, yet no issues at all. Quick check-in and in our room. The parking is big enough so no issues there The room was big enough, clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast started at 8:00 but they allowed us in at 10 mins earlier as we were on a rush to leave to our competition. Food was ok - Full Irish self service and choice of cereal. Would stay there again but not for over 120€

Good location if you travel by car, next to Motorway junction. Service is top notch, rooms were spacious. Restaurant is OK

It's a pleasant place with friendly service, and the restaurant is pretty good. However, the rooms leave a bit to be desired - the decor is tired and the bed isn't up there with Premier Inn standard. Even turned up to maximum, my shower was only ever lukewarm (I mentioned this after my first night, but unfortunately it wasn't fixed).

Reasonable hotel, but really should update the bathrooms. Separate faucets on hot and cold water requiring mixing in the sink went out of favor, what, 70 years ago? Great staff.

Loved the place. Every single member of staff I spoke to were simply fantastic. Could do with the bar staying open until 23.00 though. Only gripe.

We stayed on Friday, food was great as always, definitely recommend the restaurant. Could maybe train staff a little bit more as the knowledge of the menu was pretty poor. The hotel was nice, however I was corresponding with a member of staff via email and asked for a bottle of prosacco and some bits and pieces for the room as it was our anniversary, after receiving a message saying yes no problem and sending a payment for everything we arrived to nothing in the room which was a massive disappointment. When spoke to the receptionist who was so lovely, I found out that there wasn't even a message or nothing left on the system about the prosacco or any of the emails. A bit of a disappointment but overall was a nice night away.

Nice reception area, bar closed as we arrived at 9.20pm. My room was changed from the rest of the group from the ground floor to the first floor. Door was propped open with a towel, all drawers and cupboard doors open, looked as though it wasn't finished being serviced as there was still a trolley in the corridor, trolley was still there in the morning. Room and bathroom were tired looking, the floor was definitely the creakiest, noisiest floor I ever walked on. Bed was comfortable and had a good night's sleep.

Great Place to stay, room was tidy and big enough, gutted about the size of the coffee cups as they were a bit on the small side. Staff were great and very helpful. Meal was good both nights we stayed. Good location and easy to get to Antrim and Belfast

Been here for a few work meetings. Nicely accessible from M2 and not too far from Belfast International Airport. Staff are pleasant and competent. Can't comment on rooms as never had to stay.

Must of been 20 of us dining - I’ve been before in 2021 and 2019 - not sure if the management has changed hands but the food is in another league now. Absolutely fantastic - praise all around from everyone.

While the rooms were perfectly fine, the real standout is the attached restaurant. All of the food in my party’s group was outstanding. I had the pepper chicken stack, and it was probably the best meal I had in Northern Ireland.

Dunsilly hotel / bar and grill is a very nice, clean, and welcoming establishment. The staff are very friendly and professional. The bar/grill has a wide variety of food and beer. The room (my room) is very spacious with good sized bathroom. Wi-Fi is free and has excellent coverage. Not sure if there is a direct shuttle bus to Belfast International Airport, but is only a 15 drive/taxi to the airport. Price of food and beer is no different to any other type of establishment in the area. Would definitely recommend and will be staying here again on my many trips for business to the area.

Clean rooms , nice bar and friendly people. The breakfast was delicious but it was always the same food. Maybe a small change can be a good help. I had no car and I had to walk more than 20 minutes to get the Juntion Mall or the Dunsilly Park. It's a peacefull hotel.

Very friendly staff and a easy check in, the rooms are clean & tidy , a bit dated but still very nice with tea & coffee making facilities. Breakfast is excellent, self service full English or continental. Evening meals are also excellent , the steaks were cooked to perfection

If you go here you have not done some thing silly!! Myself and my American friend came here every night last week for our bed time Guinness and it was most enjoyable. We had food one night which was okay but the best part was the staff. I won’t name all of them but they all interacted with us and made us feel very at home while we probably annoyed them. Top spot and thank you to you all

Nice hotel located close to Junction 1 at Antrim, the airport and the motorway. Excellent service and lovely comfortable seating in the foyer with the fire going for effect. Seemed busy enough but also quite intimate and quiet for a meeting. Didn’t get any food so can’t comment on it. Plenty of parking spaces during the week right in front of the doors.

Very clean friendly staff . Food came quite quickly. Very good potion size for money. Good location however needs more sign posts to enter from junction one way. Would return.

Firstly outstanding and extremely helpful staff, could not be happier. Am here for a conference and wanted to relax before. Has a restaurant that is quite nice, alongside 2 large conference rooms and a beautiful walking ground. Only negative is Internet is not the greatest so I tried to connect via ethernet, however wall ports don't work (or mine didn't). Although I must mention the front desk staff were helpful and friendly, even searching for an ethernet cable for me.

I was there in a party of around 50 people for a meal. Main meals arrived but veg was served separately by server with large tray. By the time he got to me he had been serving from the same tray for over 5 minutes. Veg was stone cold & cauliflower must only have looked at the boiling water. It appeared uncooked. Please just serve the complete meal hot and people can choose what to eat & what to leave.

I can't rate rooms as never stayed here. Located just off the m2 motorway at junction one. The hotel is lovely. Loads of seating areas. Big foyer. We'll staffed. Quick service and polite staff. Not noisy so can chat over nice drink. Food looks lovely. Carvery on Sunday. Self serve. Disabled friendly

Went for a Sunday carvery. Food was OK. Limited selection of starters but what was on offer was very good. Mains were standard fare - turkey, beef, ham, mashed potato, roast potato, stuffing, couple of different veg, gravy, pepper sauce etc. Like the starters there was a limited choice of sides but I didn't mind that as most carverys have far too much choice. Cost was £26 a head. Staff were very friendly and attentive and nice surroundings. Would happily go back again.

I have only been here for business lunches, can't comment on the rooms. Good lunches with friendly staff - good range of food on offer. Handy location for motorways.

Great service, great food. Really good spot, not too far out but just enough out of the way that it's not bunged. Loads of parking, just off the roundabout.

We hadn't booked for the restaurant and waited one hour for meal to arrive. Would book in the future. There were 10 of us. Food excellent, tasty good choices, variety of prices. We had a group of people and they let us pay individually. Which was brilliant.

We usually go here once a year on Boxing Day for a family get together. This was the first time since Lockdown tho, and I'm very happy to say, it's still great!

I arrived to late for evening meal which is always 5 star, breakfast this morning was very good full English as much as you can eat big pot of coffee all included in room price not an extra, except evening meal you pay for 5 stars all the way

Have eaten here a few times and the food has always been excellent. First came across it while searching for somewhere that caters to the needs of coeliac/gluten free diet. They have a separate gluten free menu, and the kids menu has a few gluten free options too.

We call in here regularly for a meal and it is delicious. The staff are lovely but the service can be very, very slow. However the food so far has been beautiful, which is why we return.
