Great pub, loved the live music. Truly the place to be on any night in Derry!

Stopped in for a quick Guinness. Paul, the bartender, was very friendly and executed a proper pour. Not too fast, not too slow, but juuuust right. It was late afternoon on a rainy Tuesday, but the bar still had a lot of charisma and charm. If you're thirsty and in the area, stop in.

Nice pint of Guinness, great musician playing. Didn't catch his name though.. pub was nicely packed for a Wednesday evening

Great pub with good range of good priced alcohol and lovely bar staff. Went August Monday Bank Holiday and there was a fantastic guy singing and playing guitar after 6pm. He was the business if you enjoy traditional Irish music and had a beautiful mellow voice no matter what he sang. Excellent entertainment and the very best of craic.

Great live music, great atmosphere, great staff, great drinks and great time. Derry really rocks on weekend nights. Highly recommend Pub to experience when visiting Derry.

Good atmosphere bar staff are nice and live music was great ,would give 5 stars only was no shtick on the glass when drinking Guinness could be the glass wash they use.

I just had an amazing time here. Please tell the 3 musicians I will always remember this evening as the highlight of my trip.. This is exactly what I came in Ireland for. Thanks for the warm atmosphere in the pub, love Derry!

Great music and atmosphere. Had a good mix of tourists and locals. Great night. Venue was quite snug for the large crowd so we went next door to buy our drinks. The pubs are under the same ownership so it wasn't an issue at all. Just around the corner from the mural walk aswell. Will be back!

Really authentic place. It was a nice experience and I had the luck to watch Real Madrid Champions League final at this place. Very friendly people, with live music and dancing

One of the best bars in Ireland. Home to locals and visitors from all over the world. Irish hospitality at its very best. Music every night with the most talented musicians in Derry City. Great staff and range of drinks too. We like to call by on a Sunday night. Cannot recommend this bar highly enough!

Great place to hear live music. Can get extremely busy though. Inside the bar the decor looks very interesting but I couldn't get to see any of it as it was just too packed.

Great trad bar, great history, and live music.

They don't do food to the best of my knowledge but Peadar's is probably the most famous bar in Derry. Old school Irish, there is usually live music every evening. I have friends from abroad and they themselves say it's awesome. Love this place.

I stayed 3 nights in Derry had 3 bands Sunday we had great day first singer on day was outstanding. So we end up going again Monday and Tuesday night and we had great nights out great music big crowds great pub

This is the place to be in Derry. Live music was amazing, pints are poured to perfection. Highly recommend.

This place is mental packed. Really difficult to get service as people sit at the bar and you can’t get seen unless you’re waving a flag or 6ft tall. Great atmosphere but not for me if you’re fighting 20 mins to get a drink.

Beautiful place with live music, so many friendly and open people! Security always willing to help. Good beer, merry folks and music - what's there more to need?

This place was great! We went here on a Wednesday night but it felt like the weekend! The bartenders were wonderful, particularly Paul! I came in with my grandmother who was using a wheelchair, and once the bar filled up, I wasn’t sure how we’d make it out of the bar. But Paul was absolutely lovely and helped us get it through another door so we didn’t have to fight the crowd. He also sent us away with an umbrella when he realized it was pouring down rain. Go for the good times, and stay for the unbelievable hospitality. ❣️

A class place, great atmosphere, great staff and met some really friendly people. Had a few enjoyable drinks. Live music in the bar was brilliant. Would love a local like this!

Serendipity ..booked a house in Derry for week and found we were around the corner from this pub. Monday evening and a wonderful free session of traditional Irish music. The local people were lovely and friendly. A great experience.

Popular traditional pub. We sat towards the ba k of the pub but the smell of urine from the toilets was rather strong so we didn't stop for more than 1 drink

Great busy traditional little pub with local sports and live music. Thr staff are great and are always vigilant to those waiting to get served.

This busy and friendly pub has music seven nights per week and a great selection of irish beers. Well worth a visit.

My wife & I were in Peodar’s a few years ago, we were staying up the street, were in Peodar’s several times! I warmly recommend this superb pub, and I am now back in frozen Minnesota and I wish that I was back there, with a pint and listening to music!

A warm, friendly, welcoming place with excellent music and great beers. Customer service is top notch. I highly recommend it!

Great bar, always busy with a good vibe. They have live music on most if not every night. The Gunness is good and it's great craic. This bar seems to be extremely popular with tourists and locals alike. The lice music is mostly Irish traditional and it can be overly packed with people, but that is part of its character. You will find the bar to be very friendly as are the local people of derry. The bar joins onto a second bar called the Grwwdore bar. This also has lots of live music, but doesn't seem to be as popular as players. I would recommend a visit to this bar if you are staying in derry. Its a must see! It also has some unusual decor and is very welcoming.

If you want a true Irish experience this is the place for you! Fantastic music great Guinness and lots of locals filling every inch of floor space.
