The newly refurbished fitzroy's. Booked last minute and thankfully got a table very friendly and welcoming staff. Honey and chilli chicken starter was very moreish. As was the grilled salmon. Our server jack was very chatty and welcoming.

Such welcoming staff, and the food is too notch 👌 Delicious. Great service, clean & cozy seating, central location, and great value for such good quality dining! Baked Alaska dessert is to die for... if you have a sweet tooth, like me. Definitely be back again; highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic place with modern feel it really is a hidden gem. We will be back Highly recommended the 100oz steak and the sticky toffee pudding accompanied with peach delight cocktails Staff are very warm welcoming and friendly and the environment is suitable for families. Theu even accommodated adjusting a meal.for my son as there wasn't anything I knew he would eat off the kids menu (changed the tomatoe pasta for plain pasta) 100% on of my top 10 restaurants

We were pleasantly surprised by this bistro in Derry. We were here for the day and were deciding where to go for lunch and decided to go here on the strength of these reviews. We came and there was a table available for us, even though it was really busy. The service was excellent and very attentive without being overbearing. The food was very good and with generous portions. The place was good, not beautiful but adequate and pleasant. It was a very good choice. Very good food and even better service!

Chose this restaurant for lunch on our drive from Belfast to Donegal based on reviews and it was a definite home-run!. The ambiance is quirky with colorful velvet seats and colorful decor. The service was friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was excellent. Our party of four had two of the House Club Sandwiches which were delightful, the chicken was tender, the egg was perfectly cooked, the bread was nicely toasted. The Honey & Chili Chicken was cooked perfectly, tender chicken with just the right amount of sauce and the vegetable were cooked well and very tasty with buttery goodness!. The home-run for me was the Chicken Carbonara, the Tagliatelle Pasta was cooked to perfection, just the right al dente consistency, the chicken was thinly sliced and the sauce was light and delicious. The selections were very reasonable priced for the ample amount of food.

We’ve been regulars at Fitzroy’s for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience. Food and staff are always excellent! Cheyenne, was particularity helpful to my mum today who was having a bit of an off day. Cheyenne had a giggle with her, made sure she had a fan when she was too warm and was overall excellent at her job!

Great food and lovely staff, can be very busy for these reasons and you might wait a bit for your table. Definitely worth it!

Good central location for lunch or dinner. We had a very nice lunch on a Monday afternoon in August. It was very busy so there might be a slight wait. Limited Street parking in area so plan ahead if you have a car. The place is nicely decorated and staff are friendly. One tip if you are using the stylish well appointed toilets. Tip the top of the tap backwards in order to get it to work!! Might save you a couple of minutes.

Food was really tasty, we had a great time. Staff was lovely and helpful, the price was also great and we got 30% off which is always nice. Would definitely recommend this place!

Was at Fitzroy's last night. This place is busy so better to book even though there is walk in. The staff where fantastic and very friendly and busy. The place is child friendly as well which was nice to see. The cocktails where amazing the food was fantastic good portion size and cooked the way you want it. On the plus side we got 30% of the bill as well. Little details like the name on your drink plus they have everything in place for covid. Listen folks give this place ago you won't be disappointed. I will be back again soon.... In again food still fantastic service great. Tara was fantastic all night couldn't do enough for us. Must go for great night xxx

My most favorite restaurant. John and all the staff ALWAYS give 5* service (nothing is too much) they are so very friendly & accommodating. The cocktails 🍹 are so fresh and yummy 😋 The food is mouth-watering, moreish, 5* with an amazing, extensive, delicious, dietary accommodating menu that will have you stuck to decide what you want to try first. You will be coming back alot just so you can try everything you want from the menu 😋😋❤️❤️🤤🤤

Had lunch in Fitzroy's for the first time. Heard great things about the place and definitely wasn't disappointed! I ordered the Carbonara which was delicious - lots of chicken and bacon and full of flavour. My daughter had the Chicken Goujons - large serving with thick chicken breast pieces. Very tasty too! We chose rice and chips as our side orders. Staff were both friendly and attentive and we admired their tray balancing skills while running up and down between the two levels. We hadn't booked but despite being almost at full capacity, we were offered a table for two almost immediately by the owner / manager. Toilets appeared clean, although they only offered ladies and gents sharing options...I'm not a fan of this, although there were at least four separate toilets (all with their own sink and hand-dryer). I would love to see a few more "light lunch" options such as gourmet wraps (or similar) although they did have soup, club sandwiches and salads on offer. Our two meals with drinks cost £28 - pricy for lunch, but portion sizes and dishes were "dinner worthy", so we didn't feel hungry again until late evening. Would highly recommend Fitzroy's for lunch.

I am surprised that a bistro like this offers such good fast prepared meals with nice serving. Taking a look at the offer, I would say that everybody needs to be able to choose something. What I specifically liked is that the offer doesn't consist of dishes served with French fries only, as in the restaurant everywhere else around. The prices are also very reasonable. Be aware that the place can be quite busy. There is a sitting and you need to wait for some waiter to give you a table. And it might just happen that there is no available table at the moment.

Went here for my birthday dinner. Food was delicious and didn't have room for dessert! I had the most delicious cocktail - a Rhubarb and Custard Martini. Yummy

Went here with a gang of Americans on tour and the staff really couldn't have been nicer. From the minute we walked in, met by the super friendly John and Paul. Immediately sat and then had an absolute star of a server called Tara. She looked after us all night and was totally on top of all. Quick service and the food was exactly what we wanted and ordered. I really couldn't fault them. Thank you so much for such a great night:)

Food was delicious. Steak cooked to perfection. Quick service even though place was very busy. Nicest staff, very welcoming. Lovely pint of Guinness. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Arrived to Badgers Bar and restaurant late for food service and was suggested to try Fitzroys. Our party of 3 really enjoyed our food. Exhausted from a long day of sight seeing and 30 percent off was nice. We all ate and had a beer for around 40. Wings, burger and fish were yum. Sorry no food pics. Friendly staff too

Really really lovely food, good service, nice atmosphere. The prices are fair for the quality but the 30% off everything is a bit weird and makes it confusing when trying to calculate prices as you are ordering. Would go definitely visit again and can recommend the bang bang chicken (pictured), the salt and chilli chips (also pictured) and the honey chilli chicken.

Wonderful restaurant with beautifully cooked dishes that have great flavor. The menu is clearly marked regarding allergens. Our waitress was very knowledgeable regarding our gluten free order. They have a separate frier for all things gluten free. I had the Chicken Bang Bang (pictured) and the Honey & Chilli Chicken as an appetizer, both were wonderful!

It was a very busy restaurant for mid week dining, they had a promotion running when we visited. Without a promotion running I'm not sure how I could justify paying the very high prices for food. The food was nice, ok portion size. The service was a little too attentive as soon as last bite/fork down plate was taken away.

Fantastic experience in here. Staff was excellent, great environment and super food. 4 of us ate here and cleared our plates completely. It was quite expensive for the 30% off clearly helped that but I couldn’t help wondering why don’t they just change the prices to 30% less. Reading the menu felt like a bit of a maths exam. Would definitely return.

Food was fantastic and service brilliant. 100% recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.
