Id say the museum is fairly biased, I remembered reading a part where it said that the people of derry had lived in harmony before the troubles or something along those lines. This obviously though isnt true as there was continued sectarian troubles in the city during that time. If you ignore stuff like that though the museum itself has a good collection of objects such as weapons.

I really wanted to like this museum as I was interested in the subject matter, and the video was good but I found the content was otherwise presented in a biased and often aggressive manner, which I found off-putting

I really enjoyed learning nore if the history of Derry here. The video was very informative ans interesting. The only thing was the man at reception didn't have answers for some of our questions about the history. Although he was friendly and tired to give us the answers. Really great museum.

This is well worth including in your itinary of places to see in the Maiden City. It describes the history of the siege and the dreadful conditiobs endured by the people during the siege. The constant bombardment by the Jacobite forces, the diseases and lack of food etc show what it was really like to be an inhabitant of a besieged city. There is a lift if you cannot manage stairs and a nice gift shop as well.

Absolutely brilliant staff, we arrived slightly after the last entrance but the gentleman was brilliant and let us in as my father in law was flying to UK tomorrow. Absolutely lovely museum, clean, informative and brilliant space.

Pretty much biased and not a full scope of the siege. Definitely selling an agenda for the group it raises money for
