On arrival Charlotte Hse didn't look very welcoming from the outside but check in went smoothly and our room was very clean as was the nice shower room.

Close to the city but far enough away to get a good nights sleep.. great room, great location, tidy and easy contactless entry to rooms

The descriptions of this guest house are incorrect; there's no parking available and the phone number given to contact the owners on is disconnected. There's no fire escape or fire safety information and no staff on site.

Ok at best if your under 25, but if your over 25 and have standards, AVOID. "Self service" check in, no sign of any staff, but they're "around" you just need to phone them??? Actually had to leave and find somewhere else to stay due to loud guests.

Heard from friends, its a nice accomodation and giving 5 star without stay there. Why I am giving this review as it is disappointed that they won't let me stay with 2 Adults and 2 kids. Just 8 and three year. When I called they said its not possible. It's only for three members. Even though my little one is just three. It's disappointing that they are not allowing 4. Sad ☹️☹️. Wanted to stay there.

Maybe it's me, but this is an odd sort of place. It's an ordinary quite small house on an estate (or so it seemed to me) turned into rooms, no staff, just a keybox. It's very comfortable and cosy though, so nothing to complain about. I slept like a log.

Small, but very clean and modern room with private bathroom. Only point of criticism: the walls are badly soundproofed
