Weekday dinner out in my friends local. Been loads of times and always a nice atmosphere in Bar Milano. I prefer sitting outside in the back seating area. We got food to share, cajun chicken pizza and chips and mozzarella sticks all great. The pizza is lovely ☺️!

Been here a few times and each time we go its worth it. We always enjoy the food.

Phoned on boxing day asked if street food was on girl said yes went along to be told bar milano was closed

We had fish and chips as pizzas weren't available that night. It was a Wednesday. The service was attentive and friendly and the wine was enjoyable. Reasonable cost too. Quiet enough to talk

Brilliant for a nice dinner!!! Cheap and cheerful. Nice play area for the kids too. But but busy on a Saturday.

Service wasnt great from the minute we arrived till we left. Staff were too stretched and no clue what was going on. Food was good when it eventually came but the place was too chaotic and we were glad to get up the road

We were asked to leave the bar at 6pm as we had a small dog. Not as dog friendly as we were led to believe. Bar has a limited cocktail menu. Asked for a margarita but was told they didn’t have the ingredients. On the plus side excellent pizza.

We didn't eat but staff were lovely. Welcoming atmosphere and service was excellent. Staff were all very attentive . We will definitely return here . It was our first time here with our dogs . Perfect thank you 😊

What on earth has happened to the Avonbridge?? I used to be a regular visitor over the last 40 odd years, great family celebrations, Xmas and New Year meals and parties, always a brilliant atmosphere and exceptional service. I hadn't been to Avonbridge in a few years but went last night with a friend for a meal and drinks at Bar Milano and it was dire...we had reserved a table, the booth we were shown to, seat all ripped like someone had put a knife along it, full of neds in their trackies and hoodie, looked definitely underage, music was way too loud, couldn't have proper conversation. There was a really horrible smell like bad drains. This place has gone way downhill and lost all its charm and atmosphere, very sad to see, needless to say I will never be coming back.

Dog friendly. Great pizzas and friendly staff. We went on a Tuesday and it was buy 1 get 1 free so win win

It was smelly and dirty, I had to clean the booth before sitting down. Food and cutlery everywhere. It was 2pm and having lunch and the young team behind the bar had the music blaring, know your customers!!!!!! I would give zero stars if I could.

The food was exceptional the pizzas tasted superb and all our party were impressed. The initial drinks service was on point and prompt but the follow up drinks service appeared to be great on other table but we had to beckon staff over to ours or even go to the bar... after acknowledgement of our drinks order we still had to wait 30 mins for the drinks to arrive and even then they were still wrong. A great disappointment when the venue had came recommended from friends and the DJ who was hosting our wedding later in the week. Sadly I wouldn't return for the service but the food was excellent.

We were able to book an outside table, they had the football on a large screen outside in the sun, the staff were lovely and the bar snacks were tasty. Everything you could want from a good bar, it had!

Dropped in quality but ok for the price. Less food options now that there were last year and same for drinks. Seems like over summer they're almost exclusively employing high school children which really isn't any good compared to some experienced adult staff. Dog friendly which is good especially for being close to Chatelherault. Overall the fact it's still reasonably cheap makes it work but I'd rather they put the prices up and returned to the standard of previous years.

Was staying in the hotel and popped in to try the food at the bar as the restaurant was closed. Pizza was above average. The base was excellent - nice and crisp, and freshly cooked. However the tomato sauce let it down. It was quite flavourless and watery, so all the toppings slid off the pizza. Would be greatly improved if the sauce recipe was made thicker. Otherwise a good choice of toppings. Service was fine. Reasonable prices.

Great pizzai and drinks staff very friendly also added a bbq area in the garden best burger i have tasted in a while .

Best pizzas in Hamilton! Super nice staff. You do have to shout over the music (even at lunchtime on a weekday) but loud ambient music seems to be normal these days.

Fantastic place for pizza, beer and cocktails. Great atmosphere. Unfortunately I had an argument with an Irish bar man, about my order. Shame. I would not let this put you off, still a great venue.

We went for a birthday party and ate enough that we couldn't face eating cake after we went home. The food was very tasty and we had a small child with us. The staff made a big deal of him and acommodated us very well. The food was very good. I'd recommend the onion rings as a side. Child portions were generous. Our portions were generous. The staff were very helpful and the setting was clean and free of clutter with plenty of space. The car park is a touch on the small side but I have no other issues. My measure is, would I go back? Yes, I look forward to my next visit.
