I'm not going to lie, this is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. The beds are rock hard, think trying to sleep on a pool table. So I called the desk at 3am after not sleeping and starting to get a migraine to ask if they had a mattress topper to soften things up a bit. The rockstar front desk staff came up empty handed for mattress toppers but brought 2-4 comforters to see if that would help and it did! What a way to problem solve! I woke up with no migraine. I'm the first to admit when I'm starting to get a migraine I'm not the most cheerful person and my husband looks scary when hes tired but this guy from the front desk helped above and beyond what was required of him! Cool pancake machine for breakfast. Squeaky clean room! Neutral smelling soaps and lotions (which is great for someone with allergies!) And 100% top notch service. We would like to come here every time we're in town.

Very clean! Spacious rooms. Beds were comfy. No elevator but only 1 flight of stairs. Complimentary breakfast was nice. Would recommend!

Great place to stay. Newly renovated. Completely what anyone would want in a hotel stay. Best part of all is the breakfast. Almost anything you could want for breakfast, they have it. It's not your average continental breakfast. Top notch rooms as well as service. Highly recommend staying here. Don't be fooled by the Quality Inn which is the first hotel you see coming in from Des Moines. Go just a few more miles up the road and the Pommier is on the left.

I had to go to the Warren County Court House for a custody issue. Hotel Pommier had great reviews and was close enough. Out of all my stays, this was the best. Quiet, clean rooms. Everything was accessible from the laundry room, vending, to service. Will stay again if I'm ever back that way.

The highlight of my stay was the water pressure. Fantastic. Clean rooms, comfy beds, pleasant staff. Love the personality in the signage that reminds you you're not staying at a chain copy-paste hotel. Would definitely come back!

My whole family had a great experience while we stayed here for a few days. The rooms we had were comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was nice, and there were always apples available if we wanted a quick snack! Highly recommended!

Rooms, and entire hotel were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed and pillow were comfortable. Shower was very nice. Patio is clean and relaxing. We have stayed here for over 25 years. The renovations done within the last few years were great. They do a great job keeping the hotel clean and comfy.

This hotel was so fun! The decor was quirky and the service was great! The other awesome thing is that they provided services a normal hotel usually doesn’t! They had board games, ping pong, a peloton, and even a small disc golf course in the back! Everyone was very friendly and it was a truly enjoyable stay! Special shout out to my friend at the front desk who works the day shift with the glasses. I’m so sorry, but I’m bad at names. She definitely deserves recognition though because she made our experience awesome, and also called me back when I left some stuff in my room. Really helped make our experience great!!

What an amazing and unique hotel! I had a fantastic stay while travelling for a work conference. Public areas and clean and inviting. Staff was welcoming! The lodging rooms are spacious and well taken care of. I will definitely be staying here again next time I am in the area.

Hotel Pommier is phenomenal local establishment that prioritizes a comfortable visit to Indianola. From check-in to check-out, my experience was friendly, clean and convenient. Corporate chains wish they could imitate such authenticity from the staff. I highly recommend anyone's next stay, here or near, at Hotel Pommier. P.S. The coffee was way above average. I wish I caught the brand!

Beautiful modern rooms! Very clean, friendly service staff, a patio and ping ping pong table. And even a room with three full beds! Also I love that it's a local hotel that keeps the money in the local economy. I highly recommend this hotel.

I would actually rate this hotel as a 3.5. It was very accommodating, staff was absolutely friendly and helpful to our family. The design of the hotel was shabby chic. I'd be a return customer if management does not let this place go down. So a few items to note, please assure your common areas are vacuumed (that includes all staircases and hallways). There was quite a bit of debris on the floor for days and that was off putting. The shower curtains need to be cleaned, please! This is a housekeeping order that goes neglected at times. Unfortunately our shower curtain was not clean, dirt accumulated without proper sanitization or even a simple replacement. Also, the hooks to hang your clothes on in the bathroom was broken. Again, great staff, nice quiet space and very affordable. Would like to return, but attention to details at all times is a must.

This hotel is always very clean. The staff is polite and helpful. I really love the new no room key system. The hotel delivers an exceptional product at a modest price point.

We were here for a wedding and our expectations were exceeded! We gushed about how cute every space in the hotel was. We definitely would want to come back here again for a little getaway. The location is also very convenient, Walmart across the street and McDonalds and Taco Bell between the hotel.The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I think we’ll stick to small business hotels from now on!

This hotel wasn't the cheapest option but I feel like I was ripped off. The beds were hard as hell. You could tell the bedding wasn't washed. The outdated toilet didn't flush well and there was hair in the tub. Not to mention I found what looked like a pube hair inbedded in the rough old towels they had. The only thing I am happy about my experience is the front desk associate Dana helped me print out a very important document that I needed for traveling! I will not be staying here again.

EXCELLENT. Great price for everything this hotel offers, clean, the work done for the remodel is impeccable. Coin laundry on site! Don't be afraid to stay at this "off" brand hotel I wish they had them everywhere we go. We stay at hotels a lot we are OTR drivers. This is a great choice! Staff has personality. Walking distance to walmart, food options right next door. Unique atmosphere for a hotel, feels more like an apartment complex (in a good way)

Paul at the front desk was excellent. Very accommodating. Paid attention to our needs, made eye contact and was all around friendly. He should teach hospitality. The way around the building for walking could use improvement. Better sidewalks or walkways for senior people would make a better experience.

This is our 3rd year stay- as we are at the fair all week we stay 5 nites and best hotel ever! Clean Quiet rooms, doors don't SLAM, comfy bed, and we didn't even have to ask for clean towels or a freshening up of the bathroom! Nice clean breakfast area, great coffee machine and so friendly staff!

I stayed there for three consecutive days. The first night my co-worker had booked a single night. The front desk associate was friendly and eager to assist with our late check-in. Our room appeared to have been slept in; possibly cleaned but once the beds needed made just gave up and threw everything about and left pillows on the floor. The amenities would have been nice for a longer stay. Layout of the hotel was terrible. The whole building only had ONE ENTRANCE although their parking lot was on either side.

The staff were awesome and let us check in early. The rooms were nice and large with comfy beds! When we checked in the clerk said they remodeled the entire hotel and you can tell the owners love this place 😊 They have made so many impressive updates to this hotel such as key pay entry doors and all rooms have Roku TVs. Anytime we drive through in the future we plan on staying here!

We arrived early and were graciously checked in right then. The room had a lovely king bed and was very comfortable and clean! The breakfast had everything I liked. I didn't see the robot pancake maker in action, but it looked interesting and entertaining. A wedding brought us to this little town and if we return this hotel is where we are staying.

Very friendly staff that made it a point to make you feel welcome and important. Spacious rooms in this basic but updated and clean hotel. There was a washer and dryer on the floor. My bed was comfortable and the bedding and pillows were lush and felt luxurious. Breakfast included hard boiled eggs and pancakes and biscuits & gravy as well as the other basics of cereals and toast, etc. I would stay here again.
