On my experience to arrive to Gili T. I don't understand the bad reviews. The ship was on time at the port in Padang Bay, we started the trip 5 min past 9, and everything went well. 1:30h trip with no problems at all. I can understand if you have booked the fast and they changed to a ferry or some RRHH g but not because the people throw up, is that the problem of the company? As commented all good, we will probably book with the our way back.

Bought roundtrip tickets for 1pm. We we're denied at the fairy at 1pm boat. They oversold the boat and told us we had to take the 3pm. We had transportation ready to pick us up when we arrived. They didn't care. We ended up stranded on the island with no hotel and no transport once we arrived at our port.

It has been renewed again with Wahana Virendra, so the response is fast and there are not many delays. It's comfortable.

Both Gili entry and exit points were purchased at the Wahana official office. It's safer and much cheaper than other tour shops. Other places are trying to scam you by jacking up the price. Price is fixed. Friendly and the boat is clean and nice. We paid 36,000 rupees per person for the boat and pick-up vehicle from Bali to Canggu. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!important!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I arrived, the staff was shouting and emphasizing that I had to go to the Wahana office when I got off the ship. I wondered what was going on. When I got off the ship, the taxi drivers were very solicitous. I trusted the staff and tried to ignore them and leave. Someone came up to us and told us to follow him, saying he was a Wahana employee. We followed him and it took 4 hours to get to Jjanggu. If we wanted to go faster, we asked for a little more money. I wondered what was going on, but at that moment, I remembered what the employee said on the boat. A Wahana employee held up a Wahana picket and yelled at the location of the office. When I turned around to go with the person I had mentioned earlier, the scammer ran away.

Everything was fine. Friendly crew, punctual boat.

Nah.. This company deserves 5 stars for us. We got the cheapest price ever. There are shuttle bus for pick up and drop. On point. The boat was really fun. Full music and beer on the deck. And we saw the dolphins when we were back!!!!!!! Lucky us. The driver was really polite. Shuttle back to bali is also good. We had APV shuttle and just had 2 groups, me and the other one. So fast. So fun. Friendly driver! Shoutout to gotravela that gave us the best price!

Was skeptical about this company initially due to the reviews, but we're positively surprised at how smooth everything is. Everything went exactly as promised, no delays or any other problems whatsoever. That being said you need to beware of impersonators of Wahana drivers on the return trip; they'll charge you extra for the ride and will take a lot longer to reach your destination. The staffs at Wahana did brief us on where to find the legit drivers. Much of the negative reviews seems to be a result of this. The staffs do seem to be aware of the problem and are actively trying to fix it. I don't think they deserve the bad reputation.

DON'T BUY FROM HERE EVER! The worst experience ever, they lied about the departure time, First they said 10:30 and then they said 11:00 and actually it was 11:40, when I asked about it, the guy at the store started screaming at me saying that I was bla bla bla... how rude is that? Dont buy at the first stall at the night market and try to avoid using this service

Pretty poor service - boat was one hour late and then we were all crammed into less seats than there were people.. the timings were awful, told it takes 1.5hrs to get to Gilli air when in fact it took 2.5hrs. The toilet was overflowing and unusable on the boat. Not worth the 350k price tag

Reading reviews made me very scared to travel with them, but it was actually alright! Granted, at 5am the morning of our journey, we were told our boat was cancelled for "bad weather" and that we needed to take the 11am boat instead (4 hours before our original boat!). I suspect they just didn't have enough demand for that time, since it was sunny all day. However, we took the earlier boat which was quite fast and not that choppy at all, with plenty of seating. But we left about 40 minutes late and the air conditioning was pretty weak. A shuttle took us directly from the harbor to our hotel with only one other passenger (even though we were told it could be very long and have about 20+ people in the bus). Not a terrible experience overall

We travelled with Wahana from Ubud to Gili T. After having booked the tickets we read all the bad reviews and were quite worried about the trip. We still decided to try it and the trip was absolutely fine. We really didn't understand what all those complains were about. The driver picked us up at 6:30 from our hotel in Ubud and once we arrived to Padangbai we started boarding immediately. The boat departed on time (with only 5 minutes delay) and in 1,5 hours we arrived to Gili. The overall experience was very pleasant and the staff was helpful and friendly all the time. Maybe the trip could sometimes be rough due to the bad weather, but going with another company which costs 3 times more would hardly make any difference.

Good experience with the boat .. staff inform us well and airco was working good. The shuttle organised after was catastrophic.. The driver had no patience, was driving like crazy and didn't want to drop us as a convient place even in his way. He forced us to stay in the van and bring us 15min farther away from our hotel. I would strongly not recommend

I had a very different experience with Wahana than what I've read here. I do appreciate the frustration that most of the users here have gone through but it is possible the company has improved since. 1. My Wahana ride was scheduled for Gili Trawangan 11am and it arrived on time. It is highly possible that the agents who sell the tickets gave the incorrect time to the buyers which has nothing to do with the ferry operators. 2. Boarding the speedboat was slightly chaotic and took about 30 minutes for everyone to disembark and then everyone else to embark. But hey we're on Gili time here. Just enjoy the sun since you won't be able to do that anymore after you leave. 3. Speedboat went from Gili Trawangan to Gili Air followed by Lombok and then to Padang Bai. It is not a direct route and it is again possible that the agents.who sell the tickets gave the incorrect route information to the buyers which has nothing to do with the ferry operators. 4. I didn't see any throwing of bags. They were instead passed from staff to staff until they ended up either in storage on board or on the jetty and you just pick them up yourself. Of course they don't treat each luggage as though its a glass jar but they are probably just trying to get everything done as soon as possible so the ferry can leave without delay. 5. There were some diesel smell on board and the windows cannot be open. I appreciate that this can be an issue for some people but it was barely noticeable to me. 6. Before the ferry arrived at Padang Bai the staff specifically instructed everyone who is travelling on to another part of Bali to PLEASE BRING THE TRANSFER VOUCHER TO THE WAHANA OFFICE AT THE JETTY. When the speedboat docked at the jetty and we got off there were other drivers waiting like vultures who asked for our transfer vouchers. I even overheard one driver telling another passenger that the Wahana shuttle will take 4 hours to get to her destination and it's better to just go with him. If you choose to believe them well then that it entirely your choice. The Wahana staff cannot be expected to hold every passengers hand and walk them to the office and they also cannot control who walks over to talk to and/or harass their disembarking passengers. 7. To get to the Wahana office just walk all the way to the end of the jetty, turn right, continue straight and you will spot Wahana staff holding signboards to direct you on. When I arrived at the office we were sorted into different groups based on where we were going. I was bundled into the Ubud shuttle which is where I was headed and we left after 20 minutes. I used the time to get a toilet break and watermelon juice to refresh myself after the 2.5 hour ferry ride from Gili T to Padang Bai. 8. The shuttle took 1.5 hours to reach Ubud and everyone got off a drop off and you were expected to make your way to your hotel yourself. This was different from what I was informed e.g. the shuttle would bring me right to my hotel doorstep but again this could just be wrong information given to me by the travel agent so I would buy the tickets from him. The friendly driver did ask where everyone was going and gave us directions as best he can. Luckily my hotel was less than 10 minutes walk from the drop off so I made my way there fairly easily. Now I'm not trying to tell everyone to take Wahana but I am sharing my experience with them today. For what I paid [300,000idr] I received much more than what I expected. Service wasn't 5 star but it was definitely decent and nobody was rude to me. Wahana boat. Very comfortable, round-trip boarding and pickup (Ubud) and drop-off (Jimbaran) I used it very smoothly and without any problems.
