This is a very cool and laid back place at the beach to hang out, watch the sunset, have a couple of drinks and dance by the fire in the evening. We went 2 nights in a row and really enjoyed it here. To me there’s also the best music on the whole island - the DJ is doing a really great job at mixing the perfect beats for such a place. All the staff was very friendly and cared well for the guest without being pushy about ordering drinks etc. The only thing I really do not like and the reason why I don’t give 5 stars is because they use plastic straws. Some may find this over exaggerating but if you think about it places like this sell hundreds of drinks every day and contribute to so much waste. The island has a huge rubbish issue anyways and in my opinion bars and restaurants should do such changes to reduce the impact on our planet. There are several alternatives to plastic straws: you can use metal, glass, bamboo and even biodegradable straws like pasta made from wheat and water if your too lazy washing up. . They are biodegradable, long-lasting and edible and don’t affect a drink’s flavour. Please consider making such small changes cause it makes a huge difference in the end of the day! Awesome place for drinks, music, and food at sunset. We were in Gili T for two nights and came back here for the second night because we enjoyed it so much the first night. The spiced margaritas are delicious I probably had 6 of them. The fried noodles are also the best we’ve had in our time in Indonesia. They had a DJ named Andre playing so really nice tunes that really tied the whole sunset experience together and made it an awesome time.

If your goal is to run away from the Pub Crawls and the Geordie Shorish part of the island this is the place for you. Best place to see the sunset, with the most friendly staff I have ever seen, nice food and drinks, amazing music, both the DJ set and the live drums concerts they have every nignt. Such a great vibe around the fireplace. This is also the alternative bar where they host the famous Full Moon Party in the Island. I went here every single day the 2 times I visited the island while staying in Indonesia. Amazing mushroom 🍄 vibes here 🙂🙂🙂

nice rooms and clean upfront is the ocean when u can enjoy snorkeling, surfing far and catch the sunset cheap rooms staff friendly and helpfull there r 2 adorable cats in the night, there is percussion every night, enjoy like in jumanji world

We didn’t stay here , but we’re chilling at the Exile beach listening to house music during full moon party . A lot of people partying and dancing here

A nice sunset bar in Gili T. The only downside is they do not offer any kind of happy hours deal so you might find cheaper bars in the same location. Lovely cocktails and good service

This is one of the best places for viewing sunset in Gili T. The atmosphere is so good, there's local music or congo beats playing till 9 PM. Love the beach bean bags here. There are also many different types of seating and hammocks. The best part is the swing and hammock over the ocean, facing Mt Agung in Bali. It is a lovely sight to view. The food and drinks are decently priced and taste good. There's clean washroom also available.

The place is really nice! And the sunset from there is something apart. You can party, you can eat drink, watch sunset everything. Just rent a bike and pedal a few minutes to there. Worth it

I had the best time in Gili Trawangan at the Exile. The vibe, the sunsets, the music, the people. It all comes together here - magical!

This place has an awesome vibe for some drinks and a dance! The people that work here are so friendly and fun ! Highly recommend going around 7:30pm to watch them play drums and sit around the fire 🙌 Shout out to Eril for being awesome 🫶

While the staff is GREAT! the hotel in itself is very run down and unkempt. With minimum facilities, no WiFi in rooms, no hot water in the shower, terrible water pressure and underwhelming breakfast. I still extended my stay tho, basically because I had already unpacked and getting around Gili T with luggage is a major task. Also yes, it's situated away from the centre and there are no street lights so the riding your cycle at night will also been an extreme sport. Staff is still very nice though.

The place is good, Vila is too small. For bachelors it is good. The staff is good and supportive. Good view of sunset at the beach side.

Bar::: While contemplating the dramatic sunset, the drums play in the back... the waves crash in the beat of the moment. Not sure if the universe bestowed upon us a colorful and intense sky, but this place is what you need. You're biking around? Stop here. You wont regret it. Also, drinks are reasonably priced :)

Best place to watch the sunset & best music on the island. When night settles in, the bonfire is lit & a drumming show comes out. Love this place a lot!

BEAUTILFUL AREA for sunset with welcoming staff Sunset live drum playing every night. Delicious, small food for good price. Bungalows behind the public area. Stayed there in Bungalow 7. IDYLLIC. CLEAN. SIMPLE. Small BREAKFAST INCLUDED. We could not lock our Bungalow, only close doors. SUPER SAFE. No roof on the bathroom - for nature lovers perfect. See and hear the sea from the terrace. :) After a couple of nights, they treat you like family. Notice, Corona affected this place and bungalows. No money yet to repair them all.

Look no further than Exile for the perfect sunset experience! The live DJ and cozy beanbag chairs create the best atmosphere as you watch the sunset (whilst sipping on a Bintang).

Best sunset place in Gili T! Recommend.

We stopped for a beer, waiting 10 minutes, after a waiter approached us. They already watched us, but without reaction. Realised then, that a large Bintang is 60.000 Rp. No way guys!

Nice little spot to enjoy the sunset. Great outdoor beach area for seating and photos. Was a bit cloudy for our sunset but it didn't stop us getting some great pics on the swings and trees. Really friendly staff and owner. Not too crowded which is better as there's more time for photos.

I’m sure in normal times, this place is amazing. The sunset from here next to Mt Agung all the way over in Bali is beautiful. The staff were very friendly and the vibe is super chilled. I would love to come back when we aren’t the only ones there.
